Henry + Characters and the Old Spice Deodorant Scents They Would Wear!
Henry Cavill - Nomad: This one because he is a bit of a Nomad, as an Actor. Spending most of his time traveling from one place to another, with his only solid fixture being Kal, and sometimes going back home to recharge his batteries. (It has musky wood and clean citrus scent.)
August Walker - Krakengard: Do I really need to get into this one? It is August Walker we're talking about! The Kraken is a mighty, mythical creature. We know August is capable of handling himself. We also know, because of his job at the CIA, and as an Apostles, there's an air of mystery around him. (There's a linger of citrus, fresh herbs and something you can't put your finger on!)
Marshall - Bearglove: Marshall is a bear of a man. Both in attitude and size. But he had his softer notes, under all that gruff, as he thrives in such harsh and cold places. (Scents like apple, citrus, and spice.)
Syverson - Captain: CAPTAIN Syverson will not be demoted in rank by anyone or thing! Not even his deodorant! Everyone will know his military status by the way Sy carried himself and the way he smelled. It also helped, that it made the women wild. (A splash of the ocean breeze and an alluring whiff of Sandalwood!)
Geralt of Rivia - Wolfthorn: The White Wolf himself, who can be a thorn to people, just because he's a mutant. But none of that stopped Geralt for plying his trade, it never would. (Known for its hints of sweet orange and undertone of fruit.)
Sherlock Holmes - Hawkridge: Say what you will about Mr. Holmes, but he's as sharp as a hawk. Keen to find the details and evidence he needs to solve the case and catch his villain or victim. (A suave, sweet orange scent.)
Charles Brandon - Swagger: He might not have started out with much and played with hearts in his youth. But the Duke of Suffolk developed a swagger the won hearts and loyalty of the masses, that still continues to this very day! (Gives the refreshing scent of Lime and Cypress.)
Clark Kent/Superman - Champion: He was the Champion of Earth, to many he was their God. Clark Kent would have done anything to protect the planet that adopted him, no matter what the cost. He had on many occasions. (This refreshing Spice and Sage combination.)

what kind of deodorant do u use? maybe trying a different brand would help. I use Old Spice in the scent that smells like orange (i think its called wolfthorn?) maybe it will work better? I used to use Toms but i could always smell my sweat despite it.
I use old spice, I've been using a different flavor so I should probably go back to my og one huh

🌸, if you're still doing these? (Ask-them-bois)
Conan @ask-them-bois reminds me of......Cats, purring in your lap while taking a nap. The feeling of being stuck under them but not wanting to move anyways. The smell of Wolfthorne Old Spice. Videos of wolves in the snow, running. The feeling of walking outside and seeing your breath for the first time. Holding hot chocolate in your hands while picking out pumpkins at a patch (when there isnt a pandemic). The taste of Caramel Apple Bang, fresh from the fridge, so its cold and stings a bit as it goes down. The way the world looks when you clean your glasses properly for the first time in a while, how everything is pristine and clear and it feels nice. Especially if you use hot water so the nosepads are warm against your nose.

I don't know what the perfumes for this are, but I want to smell like orange and pine forest and maybe chocolate. recs?? it isn't a perfume but I have old spice wolfthorn deodorant which is a perfect delicious orange and a cocoa body lotion.
Oh man, these are some good notes -- I used to be majorly devoted to Old Spice’s deodorant scents and they’re still a really potent arboreal happy place for me. I haven’t found the perfect orange scent of my dreams that smells like oranges proper (peel/fruit) -- there’s a lot of slammin’ orange blossom scents (thanks to neroli and its siblings) but I haven’t found anything that nails the orange itself in any lasting way. I used to love Pacifica’s Tuscan Blood Orange but I haven’t worn it in 999 years so I don’t know if it’s changed in the interim.
Sight-unsmelled, you might want to try L’Occitane en Provence Cedre & Oranger EDT -- it seems to be well-reviewed, not sure if it’s still being produced commercially but you can at least try a decant. Beaufort London Rake & Ruin includes piney, arboreal notes + orange, but all my impressions of Beaufort scents are super dark and pitchy and I can’t find my decant of R&R to confirm that impression in this case!
This is a big reach since it seems to be LE, and it requires you to be into the smell of coffee too, but a friend sent me a body wash in Lush’s Sonic Death Monkey scent (smells exactly like a Terry’s chocolate orange + strong black coffee) and it’s amazing.

So...I dunno if this is a stupid thing to share but...I discovered a while ago that Old Spice Wolfthorn doesn't say anything about gender on its packaging. Like it literally just says 'Deoderant for Nocturnal Creatures' or 'Antiperspirant for Nocturnal Creatures' which honestly is me. I personally used this when my mother decided to say something about me using a Men's deodorant like naw it's not. Plus it's like melon scented? So it smells way better than all of the 'female deodorants' I've used in the past. I figured I'd just share this for any non-binary or agender folks out there or anyone really? When so many products are gendered it's nice to stumble across one that isn't.

i do have to say, one thing my mom did right, was for christmas, she always gets me and my sister deodorant, and she always used to get me the same kind, that was alright, but like my main issue was it was a women's’ deodorant and i dont like those as much ans i also have been using mens deodorant for over 2 years so last year was kinda disappointing, but this year she got me Old Spice, she hates the smell of mens deodorants and most colognes, and when i took it out of my stocking she said “that was the least offensive one i could find” so now i have WOLFTHORN Old Spice lol. so yeah its nice that she actually paid attention this year

Part 6. Action ( /11) Complete each part
a. Investigate the chemicals in your personal care products. Use the product guide from the Environmental Working Group http://www.ewg.org/skindeep/ to see how your products are rated for carcinogens, endocrine disruptors, etc. ( /3)
To investigate my products I picked a handful of my most used cosmetics and personal care products to investigate using http://www.ewg.org/skindeep/.
The products I use the most are a moisturizer from LUSH called elbow grease which rated a moderate 5. endocrine disruptors and ecotoxicology was a low concern and carcinogens were not a concern but there was concern with irritants (from the fragrance, geraniol, hydroxycitronellal, and critral).
I also use a concealer regularly from Fenty Beauty called the match stick which rated a two and had high concerns of irritation and contamination concerns, it also had a small risk of potential carcinogen in it but overall it was a low risk product.
My shampoo from lush called BIG which I now use regularly is rated a 4. The biggest concern is the fragrance that they use which can cause irritation. Another moderate concern is its toxicity (non-reproductive).
I also use a mascara from covergirl which has a rating of four but has a great concern for possible carcinogens which likely comes from the talc which is a soft rock that is often mixed with other rocks and minerals, it can contain asbeastos which is a known carciongen. It also contains propylparaben which is an endocrine distributor meaning it could cause issues with reproducrion and other hormone related issues.
Another one of my most frequently used products is old spice wolfthorn deodorant it has a rating of 4 and ingredients that cause concern such as fragrance which can result in irritation and immunotoxicity.
Overall, after testing a few more of my frequently used products I found that most of them are only bad for their fragrance but there are a few products that I might throw out and look for alternatives for. It was definitely eye opening to see how much the makeup companies and personal care companies don’t tell us about the ingredients that are in our products.

×what does your muse smell like? what perfume/cologne are they using?
Ignis isn’t a fan of cologne, he believes the scent overstays its welcome. However, he likes to match his deodorant and body wash. He alternates between using the Old Spice varieties Wolfthorn, and Bear Glove. Both have a musk with a hint of sweetness.
#about muse#{I actually had to do some research for this one}#{I looked so weird sniffing crap in the store}

Nyquil’s Pre-T passing/euphoria tips for small&lanky scruffy transmasc people (2021 ver)
(keep in mind these are based off of my preferences and goals so what is validating to me might not be for others)
- I snatched a bottle of lash/eyebrow serum from my sister, and I've been regularly using it on and off for several months on my eyebrows and upper lip, and while facial hair is not one of my transition goals, I think it helps in a slight way. Now, I already naturally have thick eyebrows and dark hair, so this just may be me mistaking my natural hair growth for serum growth, but its worth mentioning.
- sports bra+tank top combo underneath a too-big open Hawaiian shirt, a typical transmasc outfit but lord does it help. ( I recommend darker colors for tank tops, it makes curves/ tits look less prominent it my opinion)
- I like my fat fucking ass I have no complaints there
- I LOVE making my hair more scruffy and messy looking, which may seem counter productive, but the “I honestly don't give a shit what my hair looks like” is surprisingly euphoria inducing. I achieve this look by using a flat iron to vaguely assemble curls, then over the course of a few minutes to hours it turns into a complete organized mess, which I personally LOVE. I grown it out slightly more in the back, not a mullet but almost, let the rest of my hair hang normally it its intended length, and my bangs are only trimmed when I can’t comfortably see or style them.
- Clunky bracelets/rings are occasionally worn to distract from my skinny wrists and hands.
- I wear some make up sometimes to accentuate features. I'm not a Makeup Person, but basically I use a darker eyeshadow to make my eyes look slightly deeper set, as well as to make my cheeks look less round and like That. I put a slight bit of red under my eyes idk it just feels right. sometimes I make my eyebrows look a little thicker.
- Big Fucking Boots ( PERSONALLY I don't like Doc Martens/their imitations because 1. people like to think I'm a lesbian {I <3 lesbians} and 2. I just don't really like the style??)
- Don't dress for cis approval, dress how makes you feel more passable.
- bigger chain-like necklaces are a good option, I personally wear my pendant ocarina everywhere I go idk sometimes I think it makes me look more masculine but I might just be mental
- I KNOW i KNOW you want to slouch to hide your t*ts but trust me, its not always good. I personally recommend keeping your shoulders back more and trying to stand a little taller/confidently.
- Old spice wolfthorn deodorant
- surprisingly baggy windbreakers are nice to wear
- turtleneck underneath a t-shirt, might make you look like a early 2010′s nerd-type character but meh... unfortunately I live in a very hot climate so I don't wear this very often
- Be careful with baggy jeans, I will not elaborate
- Be careful with what haircut you get... sometimes a too short haircut makes u look like a pinhead I'm so sorry but it just happens sometimes if you have a small frame, also who said transmasc ppl cant have long(er) hair? thats right nobody.
- Lastly, just kind of experiment with different styles, sometimes a feminine or pastel style will actually make you feel gender euphoria, sometimes looking like a cursed entity will, sometimes looking like a condemned fallen angel will, sometimes looking like a 2009 emo boy will, sometimes looking like a burnout archaeologist who has seen unspeakable horrors will, sometimes its looking like a witty faerie, sometimes looking like Just Some Dude will. Idk
