"I was thinking about wearing Dragon costumes" you told Tomo while holding up said costumes, "Or we could be an archer and ninja?"

Your brother thought for a moment before grinning and taking the dragon set in his hands, "These ones sound better! Besides the shogunate soldiers won't be after us again with these."

Your deadpanned at your brother's reasoning before chuckling "Weren't they after you and Itto because you guys were shooting fireworks in the morning?" Tomo lightly shocked you with his vision as you flicked some water in his head, "It wasn't our fault!" "Was too." "Was not!"

The two of your bickered for a good twenty minutes while getting into your costumes before finally adding the last touches. "And, there!" You grinned as you finished putting realistic features to your dragon costumes.

Tomo examined himself in the mirror with awe "Awesome! You really outdid yourself once again!" He commented as you fixed his vision out of sight before doing the same with yours.

"Come-on we're gonna be late!" You exclaimed as you pushed Tomo out of the door and locking it. Your brother managed to get some candy to give to the kids and his wallet.

You and your brother chuckled at your friend's formality before Tomo flicked Kazuha's head, "Your it!" And ran off. You left in tow as Kazuha started chasing you two, the three of you laughed as the residents smiled at the scene.

Your little troop finally arrived at where Thoma and the others agreed to meet. You fixed Tomo's horns as Kazuha came back in a samurai costume.

Wriothesley

Wriothesley often finds himself retiring to bed quite late, though not as frequently as one might assume. After a long night immersed in Meropide’s paperwork, he falls asleep almost instantly, maintaining a slight distance so as not to disturb your slumber this late into the night. When a nightmare stirs you awake, leaving you sitting up and staring into the darkness, unable to return to sleep, Wriothesley, who is no stranger to the torment of nightmares, opens his eyes and assures you that everything is okay. Without needing any explanation, he sits up, ready to keep you company, so you’re not left alone with your racing thoughts and the enveloping darkness. He understands the loneliness that comes with being alone with your thoughts in the dark, and he doesn’t wish that for you. If you feel the need to talk about it, Wriothesley is all ears. A good listener, he won’t pressure you into saying anything, but if you wish to share, he’s there to listen. He won’t attempt to interpret your nightmare or dismiss your feelings as irrational, he’ll simply listen. If you seek comfort, he’ll hold you in his arms until your breathing steadies and you drift back into a peaceful sleep. Don’t worry he’ll join you soon after.

“Huh? Oh, so you had a bad dream? It’s okay. I’ve got you. Do you want to talk about it?… No? That’s fine. We can just stay here till it goes away.”

Ayato

Ayato, much like Wriothesley, often arrives late to bed. However, when a nightmare stirs you awake, he springs into action, ready to shield you from any physical threat that might have breached the estate’s defenses. Ayato is a light sleeper, a habit formed after numerous assassination attempts following his parents’ demise. The rare instances of peaceful sleep he can recall are all linked to the times you shared his bed. Once he has ensured the room is safe and there are no threats, he sheathes his blade and returns to bed, seeking to understand your distress. Unlike Wriothesley, Ayato attempts to rationalize your nightmare, aiming to soothe your rapid breathing and fearful gaze. If you seek comfort, he will draw you into his embrace, sharing tales of his suspicious meals and the interesting dishes he has persuaded Thoma to consume, until your nightmare recedes and your smile, the one he cherishes, returns.

A sudden voice outside the door might startle you, but Ayato will reassure you, explaining it’s merely Thoma with tea. Having heard the commotion, Thoma decided to bring tea to calm your nerves, a practice he often employs for the Kamisato siblings when nightmares disrupt their sleep. The warmth of the tea in your belly, coupled with Ayato’s soothing whispers and gentle laughter, lulls you back to sleep in his arms. Although sleep may elude him, seeing you at peace is all that truly matters to him.

“It was just a nightmare. It can’t hurt you, not when I’m around.”

Neuvillette

Neuvillette is likely to be burdened with other people’s haunting memories, a consequence of his bond with the element of water as the Hydro Dragon Sovereign. This means that when nightmares stir you to tears and if the water graces his skin, he too experiences your nightmare. Without opening his eyes, he draws you closer, gently wiping away your tears. To him, emotions experienced in nightmares are as real and valid as those felt in waking life. His proximity to you softens the harsh edges of your dreams, unknowingly easing you into a more peaceful state. Gradually, you find calm and drift back into sleep, your dreams now filled with tranquil waters.

Alhaitham

Alhaitham, much like Ayato, will seek to make sense of your nightmare upon your awakening. Your sudden movement disrupts his slumber, initially causing a flicker of annoyance. However, recognizing it’s you, he endeavours to comfort you in the only way he knows - through reason. With his eyes still firmly shut, clinging to the fading warmth of sleep, he begins to whisper words of reassurance. Over time, he learns that tender words have a greater soothing effect than cold, hard logic. Once the sound of your rapid breathing subsides, and if you express the desire, he casually lifts an arm, inviting you to snuggle into him until sleep claims you both once more. Though he may appear to drift off before you, his steady breathing and closed eyes are a facade. In reality, he remains in a state of semi-consciousness, patiently waiting for you to succumb to sleep before he allows himself to return to the realm of dreams.

“Calm down. What you are experiencing, though it may feel real, is not. You are fine.”

Diluc

Diluc too is haunted by nightmares. His dreams, much like Wriothesley’s, are vivid and painfully real, replaying the chapters of his past he yearns to forget, yet is bound by their torment. This is why sleep eludes him. As dusk falls, he embraces his role as Mondstadt’s protector, a duty that provides a refuge from the inevitable torment that sleep brings. When he met you, the intensity of these nightmares ebbed slightly. Although sleep remains a distant acquaintance, he finds solace in returning to the Dawn Winery just before dawn. There, he lays beside you, silently observing as the night bids farewell to the day. Should a nightmare disturb your peace, he is already awake, prepared to offer comfort. He understands all too well the pain of reliving time-warped memories. Regardless of your preference for physical contact, Diluc remains by your side, a steadfast presence as you both welcome the sunrise, allowing the dawn’s gentle light to cleanse away the night’s demons.

“Don’t worry, it’s dawn,”

Itto

Itto, even with his jovial nature, is no stranger to the occasional nightmare. Though his tend to revolve more around beans than most. When a nightmare jolts you awake, Itto doesn’t stir until he hears you call his name. He opens his eyes, still heavy with sleep, and upon seeing the distress in your eyes, moves to comfort you. His voice is softer and more gruff than its usual boisterous tone. He beckons you closer, and once you’re nestled in his arms—your limbs entangled with his like a weighted blanket smothering your senses— he begins to trace small circles on your back. If words of comfort fail to soothe you, he’ll sing a little impromptu song about him, your oni, scaring away the nightmares. It is a tune that brings a smile to your face. You may not find sleep again, even after Itto drifts off mid-song; but knowing he’s there beside you, offering his unwavering support, is all that truly matters.

“Hey hey hey, shush, calm down. It’s alright, no nightmare can get you when the Arataki Itto, the one and oni, has got you. What? Don’t think you can sleep again? That’s alright. Hey, how about I sing a little song I made up just now for you? That will surely get rid of all those pesky nightmares.”

Kenji took the sudden trip better, than Kyouka and you. The sun was shining, wind was blowing, and, according to your knowledge about the game, Teyvat's people are more or less friendly, and there are travelers from another world.

So, after getting some rest, you three will go to the nearest city and search for dimensional travelers. Everything will be alright.

Besides, local tanukis are so cute, and Ioroi was fun to talk to.

Kenji's optimism was contagious. He does have a point. You aren't looking for troubles. Besides, Traveler and Alice are friendly. They won't hurt you three.

With your spirit up, you started your journey to Grand Narukami Shrine. In Guide, Alice mentioned, that she knew Yae Miko. And Yae did publish said Guide. Maybe, kitsune knew, how to reach Alice.

During your walk, you looked up. And a chill run down your spine. Celestia was gone. A clod, sticky horror squeeze your heart. You knew from somewhere, that it was wrong.

Something terrible has happened.

You decide to think about it when you reached Shrine. You will have time.

🐄🐰 You were lucky. Yae Miko was here, in the shrine. Everything looked normal. Kenji, with big smile on his face, walked towards her, asking for help. But then Yae Miko looked at you. Disbelief, horror, worry. Before someone could react, Yae dragged you three inside the shrine's building.

When the door closed behind you, Yae grabbed your cheeks, looking at your face at every angle. You notice, how Demon Snow appeared behind Kyuoka, drawing its sword.

Yae's voice was trembling.

"Don't waste your power on me, child. Soon you will need it to protect yourselves."

🐄🐰 During Yae's explanation, you felt, how Kyuoka and Kenji sat closer to you. Like they were afraid, that you will be attacked any moment now. Because of orders of 'Creator'.

Yae explained, that just few hours ago, that Creator preformed some sort of ritual. A ritual of finding sinners… People, who looked similar to Creator. Who looked similar to you. And if someone sees you, they would attack. Would try to capture you.

Yae secretly get you away from Narukami Shrine. You weren't safe in Inazuma. Still, Yae asked you to stay here. Until she gets answer from Alice and her whereabouts.

"Run, children. Alice the adventurer might help you. If you managed to get to her, she might find a way to return you home."

When you left, she sent a letter to Alice. The only thing that was left is wait.

🐄🐰At the end of the week, you three were still in Inazuma. And you have a bunch of people on your tail.

And you were worried. Mostly, about Kenji and Kyuoka. They were your friends/adopted siblings. And they were protecting you. Kenji was starving himself, afraid of not being able to help during attack. Kyuoka was constantly using Demon Snow to search for dangers. And it looked like, using their abilities, tried them.

You tried to help as much as you can. You took cooking and keeping camp warm and clean on yourself. You insisted on guarding the camp at night, letting Kyuoka and Kenji sleep.

Despite two of you having abilities, you were just three teens. And you three missed home and the rest of BSD's Cast.

🐄🐰 Second week were better. Thanks to Kenji's kindness, you now were hiding in Yoimiya's house. Who could think, that playing with local kids will let you find help?

Now you were more or less protected.

Kyuoka, Kenji and you even met Itto and Arataki's Gang. They were a loud, but friendly bunch.

🐄🐰 One day, Kuki brought a letter from Yae. Alice will wait for you in Fontaine. She even found a way for you to get here.

After tearful goodbye from Yoimiya and her father, you three, under protection of Itto and his gang, reached Ritou's Island.

Where Chiori was waiting for you.

"So, Creator want to capture three teens? How low Teyvat will sink, I wonder? Okay, kids, let's do some dress up."

🐄🐰 For the next few days, you, Kenji and Kyuoka, dressed in Fontaine clothes, were pissing as Chiori's workers, who were helping to get silk from Inazuma to Fontaine.

Trip were doing fine.

You, tortured and bloodied, were standing before Ivory Throne. Lyney and Lynette were standing near Creator's throne. Gold medals were shining on their chests. Creator, your exact double, were grinning. They finally got you.

You heard the sounds of chains. You barely managed to make out Kyuoka's and Kenji's silhouettes.

Big mistake.

You wanted home so bad. It was so wrong, to see Kyouka killing again. To see Kenji angry.

You wished, you three would be home.

👘🗡️🌂 Fukuzawa Yukichi and Koyouou Ozaki weren't sleeping. They were discussing, what they should do next, trying to find your three.

👘🗡️🌂 Their train of thoughts was interrupted by a loud rumbling, coming from the barn. It was loud enough to woke everyone's up.

👘🗡️🌂 In the barn were you three, and two strange people. Kyouka was holding her knife above Lynette, while Kenji was trying to throw a bolder at Lyney.

And you were laying on the floor. Wounded, but alive.

👘🗡️🌂 It took Dazai's nullification, Fukuzawa 'turning off' Kyouka's and Kenji's abilities, Fukuchi's and Tetchou's strength to drag Kyouka and Kenji from Lyney and Lynette.

They will be dealt later. Now, you three are main priority.

👘🗡️🌂🐄🐰You three still were dealing with aftermath of Teyvat's events. You were guarding Kenji's and Kyouka's rooms at night. Kenji refused to eat. Kyouka was using Demon Snow to patrol the house. You three were now under Kunikida's watch. He was making sure, that you three were eating and sleeping. Fukuzawa and Koyouou were staying near. To console you, to protect you. They will make sure, that you will never need to be afraid of loosing your lives.

He's also going to destroy the person who dares to challenge him, no one can drink as much as childe after all.

college! boy ayato who‘s the guy everyone simps for! and in all honesty, can you really blame them though? he‘s so handsome and very much aware of that fact. His sister ayaka and him are considered the 'it' siblings of your campus, always wearing the newest clothes and owning your college like a red carpet. People go crazy over just talking to them, not to mention that they would kill to date one of them! You could say ayato is a bit of a fuckboy, yet he's the one who assures you its his charms that are at fault, not him!

college! boy kaeya who‘s an absolute fashionista! he always makes sure to keep up with trends and adores wearing his signature jewellery in silver which compliments his overall looks. Kaeya always makes sure to display his fashion sense in front of everyone else and embrace it. Is totally getting frothed over on campus— is the kind of guy who‘s getting invited to parties too. Kaeya will definitely take all the attention of others once actually attending different gatherings, which he utterly is aware of!

college! boy diluc who's the talented guy around campus. He's honestly good at everything, there isn't a single thing diluc is bad at. Even if he tries it out for the very first time he's nailing it almost immediately. He can come off as a bit arrogant at times but without him actually wanting to be, it's just the way he carries himself because truth be told most of the times diluc doesn't even realize he's being a bit of a smart ass. He's also making sure to keep his distance to his brother kaeya who's always criticizing his fashion sense!

college! boy xiao who's the little sleepy head and late comer. If there's an exam he's always coming late to it yet somehow he's still nailing it regardless. You're always more than surprised on how xiao does it since he's asleep almost 99% of the time during class. Whenever you ask him about something related to class he has no clue on what you're talking about. He's known for coming late to literally anything, doesn't even have to be college related, when there's a party he's mostly not attending, falling asleep during it or attending once everyone's completely wasted already!

college! boy albedo who‘s the local library rat, or as you might say, class nerd. <3 he adores studying and learning about different kinds of topics— will never even dare to come late to class, he‘s actually the first one who attends it to go over his notes he made prior to attending. Albedo thinks it‘s so important to have good grades, he's also very kind so if you have troubles with a subject he's more than happy to help you out with it. Not to mention albedo gets flustered easily if you're praising him for being smart, so that's a plus point. <3

college! boy heizou who‘s the local gossip girl of your campus. Whenever there‘s gossip or rumors going around, it‘s safe to say it‘s heizou who knows all the tea about it, if he's not the one who spread it himself. You honestly just have to ask him, he‘s more than happy to tell you! yet be certain he‘s utterly talented in finding out your secrets as well, so don‘t even try to hide something or lie to him, he‘ll always find out and may use it against you, it's all about gaining some sort of intel against people for heizou.

college! boy kazuha who's always in a good mood! he's the guy who's dealing with weed on campus and assuring you it's just something to calm you down during wild times! classes can get pretty hard after all. Don't be concerned if he's randomly falling asleep or just overall being weird around you, he's baked 24/7 and owns it. He's a bit sneaky too, how do you think is he able to have such a lucrative business without the professors finding out about it.

college! boy itto who‘s the head quarterback, the best athlete on campus! the people go crazy over him and constantly ask him out on a date too. Yet the only thing itto talks about is his love for football, you could say he gives off major himbo energy and he owns it too. He's that one guy who will literally talk about his one interest the whole time and make it his personality, showing off his muscles even during class just so everyone is aware on how sporty and cool he is.

college! boy venti who‘s probably the best musician on campus. He has got his own little groupies as well and is very much aware of said fact. He adores to randomly sit somewhere close to your college to play his guitar in front of everyone, it‘s almost as if he‘s addicted to the attention he‘s getting. When it comes to parties he‘s a bit of an alcoholic, note to say that he‘s the only one who ever beat childe in a binge drinking contest. No one saw it coming but you literally had to get ajax home safely because he wanted to keep drinking even after venti beat him!

college! boy gorou who‘s the shy guy who never talks. He‘s just an introvert and isn‘t afraid to fully embrace it. Whenever you try to talk to him he gets weirdly flustered and wants to run away as soon as possible. He‘s cute though, but doesn‘t even realise that he‘s handsome as fuck. When it comes to parties he actually never attends one, gorou said he doesn‘t like the noises and drunk people and that they actually get on his nerves frequently. Once you did take him to one gathering and truth be told, it was actually pretty fun once he gobbled down the first shot (he‘s a lightweight so please keep an eye on him!)

you and venti arrived at ayaka’s family mansion about a half hour after the agreed time for the party. a few people were already there, like ayaka stated, most of them being your shared friends and the hosts. the faint bass from the speakers could be heard from where you parked.

how you had become friends with a rich person was beyond your comprehension, but ayaka was genuine and nice, so her income didn’t matter to you and the same could be said for her. you were going to get fucked up tonight and forget the drama with kuni once and for all.

”oh my gods diluc is right there,” venti unlinked his seat belt and picked up the brown bag of alcohol he snuck (stole) from diluc. “please y/n, make sure he doesn’t actually fight me.”

”you’re fine, venti.” you laughed, unlocking the car doors and stepping outside. the temperature outside was nice, not too warm and not too cold - the perfect amount of sunlight and breeze for you to enjoy.

walking towards the entrance, you spotted diluc sitting with kaeya and thoma, waving at the three of the while venti stayed by your side, standing a bit behind you — promptly avoiding diluc’s gaze on them.

”venti, don’t try to hide from me. i know you took alcohol from my basement.” diluc sighed, running a hand through their hair; which, for once, was down with a small braid running through the left side. thoma was sitting on her right, braiding another section of his hair.

”fuuuuuck.” venti peeked over your shoulder, although diluc would never actually hurt venti, it was funny to see how scared the other would get. “heyyyy, diluc~”

”venti, he’s not mad at you—“ kaeya started. he was standing off to the side of the couple smoking and still wearing that damned eyepatch. did he even need that thing? you always wondered.

“don’t speak for me.” diluc glared at their brother with no actual malice in his eyes. thoma giggled quietly at the siblings bickering, leaning into diluc’s side.

”ah, guys, no fighting! come on, it's a party~!” thoma whined, looking at diluc with puppy eyes — you were a little jealous; most of your friends were in loving relationships (with each other at that) and that was... something you had once. not anymore though and tonight was to forget about him.

”ew, okay, i’m leaving.” kaeya fake gagged at the display of affection between them and linked arms with venti, “let’s go inside.”

”good idea. i need to set these snacks down.” you lead the three of you inside, spotting a few more friends around the room.

lumine, aether, and xiao were sitting in a circle by the fireplace laughing at whatever conversation they were having. you knew the minute you let go of venti's other arm, she'd leave your side and tackle xiao.

gorou, itto, alhaitham and kaveh were sitting on the couches, talking amongst themselves with drinks in their hands.

ganyu and keqing were in the back garden, you could see through the glass door, holding each other and being all cute and coupley.

but there were still a few people missing; tighnari, cyno, collei, kazuha, heizou, ajax, zhongli and yoimiya. regardless the cozy vibe was still there. and as soon as ajax arrived... the party would definitely get started. 

ayaka and ayato, the hosts of the get together, were in the kitchen arranging the food and drink platters. you ran up to ayaka, jumping onto her back to give her a hug. “i’m here!!” you cheered out, getting a laugh from ayaka.

”y/n!! i’m so glad you and venti made it here okay!” ayaka spun around and returned your hug.

”we did! and here are some more snacks and drinks for everyone.” you handed over the bag of collected snacks and venti handed over the drinks, greeting the hosts quickly before skipping over to jump into xiao’s lap and greet him with kisses.

“it’s nice to see you again, y/n.” ayato greeted with a head bow, hand resting over his chest as he did so. so proper!

”hello ayato! nice to see you too!” to be honest, you were a wee bit frightened of ayato from time to time — he had this air of superiority to him and that probably came from his looks, height and job. but ayaka and diluc insisted he was kind when you actually got to know him.

”enjoy the party.” he smiled at you with his eyes shut and then disappeared into the other rooms.

”so, do tell,” ayaka grabbed your hand and walked to the cupboard to get you a drink of your choice. “how did the roommate situation go?” she asked, knowing she meant well, you decided to talk about it with her — maybe she could even give you some wise words of wisdom.

”ugh,” you pouted a little, holding the glass while ayaka mixed and poured your drink. “it sucks. i bought him a cake because i didn’t even realize it was fucking kuni and then hid in my room all day. i know it seems shitty but… i don’t know!” as soon as she finished pouring your drink, you lifted the glass up to your lips and chugged it in one go.

”and then he apologized by getting me flowers? fucking tulips too…” you knew what flowers represented, tighnari was one of your friends after all. “and the worst part?”

ayaka raised an eyebrow at you to continue, letting you vent to your hearts content. “i feel bad. i even want to forgive him for putting me through that heartbreak...” you admitted, ayaka sighing and pouring you another drink.

”i normally wouldn’t recommend getting wasted this early but… you sound like you need to it.” ayaka picked up her own glass of wine and took a sip before thinking carefully about her next set of words, “it’s been years, has it not? maybe forgiving him and using this living situation as a turning point for a potentially new relationship might be good for you?” she did make a point... although you may hold a slight grudge towards kuni for ruining your senior year, the positive memories of becoming friends and eventually lovers outweighed the urge to hate him anymore.

”yeah, i think you’re right.” you mumbled, swirling your drink in your hand. “thanks, ayaka.”

”no problem!” she grinned, clicking your glasses together as a silent cheer.

”what’s up my comrades — childe’s here!!”

the rest of the night went by fast — everything blurred as more people arrived and more drinks and gossip were spilled. ajax had arrived shortly after you did, accompanied by zhongli, yoimiya, kazuha and heizou. all were already a bit faded from hotboxing the car before coming inside and that only set the party in motion as blunts, drinks and bongs were passed around. before you knew it, you felt a buzz underneath your skin from your consumption of marijuana and alcohol. you felt like you were floating, and if it weren't for the pillow resting on your lap, you probably would have been a bit paranoid too.

music blarred loudly on the speakers, groups of people huddled together singing karaoke or talking shit. others were outside in the garden or pool, casually sipping their drinks and acting way too mature for a college party. and the other others were…. you were glad ayaka’s family home was large and had a lot of bedrooms for people to use.

meanwhile, you sat wedged between different people who were drinking, eating and/or smoking. currently, alhaitham and tighnari were sitting on either side of you while ayato was directly across from you on the other couch. you had loosened up a bit, finding ayato to be less scary and actually quite interesting when you were tipsy — especially after he went on a rant about overpriced bubble tea shops in the downtown area of where your college was located.

tighnari was a nice moral support too, keeping an eye on you while you got faded out of your mind. alhaitham was a nice guy to meet too — tighnari knowing him made it a bit more comfortable for you too. you were confused if the blonde he came with was his friend or unfortunate roommate who got dragged along to this party — and then you saw them fiercely making out in the corner and put two and two together. but even so, he was funny and sarcastic which complimented tighnari’s own wits and humor and you couldn’t stop laughing as they bickered back and forth over the stupidest of things.

the conversation around you didn’t register in your mind as you rocked back and forth in place in your drunken state, occasionally chiming in with “yeahs” and laughs. but that didn’t matter, because soon after yoimiya came down from upstairs and stood atop the coffee table in the middle of the living room and clinked a spoon on a glass, gaining everyone’s attention.

”alright guys, listen up!” yoimiya was smiling as ayaka stood on the floor beside her, making sure she didn’t fall off — although if you looked closely, you could make out that she was a bit nervous by the way her leg was bouncing in place.

“i know we’re all having fun right now but since, for once this entire night, everyone is in the same room — i think it’s time to talk about the woman of the hour!” cheers erupted when yoimiya hopped off the table and gestured towards her flustered girlfriend, who shyly held a hand in front of her mouth and bowed, saying thanks to everyone. 

“guys, please—” ayaka started but yoimiya shushed her gently.

”first, words from her brother!” ayato stood up, giving everyone a bow too.

”right. that would be me.” ayato cleared his throat, though he was a tad bit drunk too, he was much more kept together than anyone else in the room. “ayaka, my sweet little sister. where do i even start?”

ayato began quite a long speech about ayaka as a little girl, chasing after her dreams of being a figure skater as well as juggling the weight of being a kamisato heir — it was sweet, and at times you even felt like crying seeing how ayaka’s own eyes glazed over at the praise from her older brother. by the time he had finished his twenty minute speech, tears were spilled by almost everyone in the room and the kamisato siblings exchanged a long hug.

”wow, i don’t even know what to say...” ayaka wiped away a tear and laughed quietly.

ayato looked around before spotting yoimiya renter the room and gave a knowing smile, nudging his head for ayaka to turn around. “well, it’s not quite over yet. so hold your tongue.” she gave him a confused look before turning around and locking eyes with her girlfriend.

the room immediately quieted, everyone seeming to understand what was about to happen which made you (and quite literally everyone else) take out their phones and press record. you fought back tears, blaming being drunk and tired on the whole thing though you knew your emotions were already running high and getting drunk only made you think about kuni more.

”hi...” yoimiya was oddly shy, hands clasped behind her back in a poor attempt to hide something though ayaka was clueless nonetheless.

”hi!” ayaka laughed, tilting her head to the side at the blonde’s strange behavior.

”gosh, okay, you know i’m not good with this kind of stuff.” yoimiya laughed nervously, “so instead of giving a long speech like your brother here,” she looked playfully at ayato, “i’ll just do this-“

she got on one knee and ayaka finally seemed to understand what was happening; gasping and covering her mouth with both hands as tears welled up in her eyes.

”kamisato ayaka will you-“

”yes!! oh my gods yes!!” she practically tackled her girlfriend fiancé in a hug and knocked her over while pressing their lips together in a long, loving kiss. cheers erupted again as everyone started to congratulate the newly engaged couple, clinking their glasses together and hugging each other.

you, while incredibly happy for your friends, could not help but feel empty at the engagement. only one thought crossed your mind, and that thought was kuni.

could that have been us? a single thought that plagued your mind that you kept blaming on being drunk. why were you thinking of him now out of all times? was it because everyone around you was in a relationship and were clearly showing their lover(s) extra affection after the engagement? or was it because you weren’t over him yet? it was silly, you didn't love him that much to think of marrying him.

Kazuha held onto his red solo cup tightly, his eyes frantically darting around the area as his expression caved in. He couldn’t find you anywhere at this party. He knows that he isn’t drunk. He made sure to only put soda in his drink. So why couldn’t he find you? Where did you go? Did you leave him behind? He stands beside Heizou, who casually chats away with a mutual friend. He doesn’t seem to notice your disappearance whatsoever. 

The situation only makes the platinum-haired man more nervous when he is approached by Gorou, asking him about his pale face. He begins to worry in front of him, looking at him side to side to evaluate his condition. There was too much noise. He couldn’t hear Gorou requesting him to go outside to rest. The music was loud. It was thumping. He couldn’t even decipher the difference between his quickening heartbeat, and the noisy bass coming from the song “Like Crazy.” 

Curse Xiao for requesting this song. It was a good one but he genuinely couldn’t focus on the lyrics. Kazuha resists the urge to drop his solo cup somewhere random and leave the party. However, he couldn’t go without you. He took your car after all. It would be dumb of him to abandon you. So where were you? Were you just getting another drink? Did you get food? He turns his head left and right, still searching for you in the crowd. 

Ayato’s house was too big and there were way too many people. It was a miracle that no one hasn’t gotten suffocated in this atmosphere. The platinum-haired man excused himself from Gorou, making the excuse that he wanted to go to the kitchen for more food. At first, his friend reached out to him. He quickly retracted his hand once Kokomi was by his side, bumping into him lightly as she smiles. 

Kazuha’s breath was starting to get heavy. His ears felt like they were ringing and the closer he was to the kitchen, the louder the noise became. He raises his hand to cover one of his ears. People were chatty. Some talked about their experiences with their roommates, others complained about the quality of the campus food, and a few discussed their grades for their classes. It was too much. It was starting to wear him down. He asks himself again, where could you be? Everything around him felt like a blur. His head was starting to feel light and he has to fight the urge to lean against the wall. 

Suddenly, he was pulled away from the crowd, the rush causing him to abandon his cup next to a planter. He winces as he bumps into a few people along the way, murmuring apologies that they most likely couldn’t hear. He was pushed into an empty room at the back of the house. The mysterious person lets go of his hand. They let out an exhausted sigh, their head tilted back as they groaned.

“It took me so long to find my way back to you, I can’t believe the Kamisato siblings live in a place this big.” At the sound of your voice, he leaps into your arms, causing you to be thrown back onto the bed. You yelped but held onto him nonetheless. “Kazuha?” 

He says nothing. He only buries his face into the crook of your neck, the only place that seemed the most quiet. At his wordless response, your expression softens. You bring your hand up to gently rub the curve of his spine, keeping him close in your arms. You could hear him mumble a few words, mainly consisting of “miss,” “where,” and “loud.”

You exhaled, letting go of a breath you never knew you held. The two of you could still hear the boisterous laughter of Itto from the other side of the door. The continuous flow of EDM music did nothing to comfort his senses. Kazuha tightens his hold around you, internally pleading that you won’t leave him again. Though, his nerves are soothed when something covers his ears. He feels your body move slightly, your fingers tapping on your phone screen.

Instead of the party music he was forced to endure, he was left listening to the sound of gentle rain falling upon windows. It felt almost like home. Using your opposite hand, you toy with his hair, brushing through it. He closes his eyes, leaning against you as he feels his heartbeat slow down. It was becoming less overwhelming. The warmth of your body culled him into a relaxed state.

You doubt he could hear you but you wanted to say that you left the party to find your noise-cancelling headphones. You had gotten lost around the house looking for him, and even though you asked Childe, the tallest man in the party to help, even he couldn’t look for Kazuha. So you had to swim around the crowd of people, clutching tightly to your chest a pair of headphones meant for him. It was a miracle that you even found him near the kitchen. 

You might make a reminder for yourself to avoid bringing Kazuha to these high-energy places. Or at the very least, be very well prepared to pack noise-cancelling headphones or earbuds for the poor man. It pained you to see him trembling. Leaning forward, you press a kiss against his forehead, undoing his hair tie as you both lay in what you could only assume to be Ayato’s bed. He wouldn’t mind if you just napped here, right?

If they're brats, lucky for them because Childe is way worse, and tease the absolute heck out of them because they're small and not as strong as him while still acting sweet, totally spoil them, and will take them to Mr. Cyclope. While Itto might pout at them because they can't stop trying to touch his horns and mock him when he looses, but he is so fun to play with, that the kids want to be around him all the time. And for Thoma, he doesn't mind cleaning the mess they make but he turns desperate of the kids bulling him constantly, but don't worry, he will find a solution to make them like him, he might need the help of Taroumaru though.

. Zhongli will be honored to take care of them, but the kids will get bored with his neverending stories, even if it's about a topic they like, however, he is the greatest for putting them to sleep.
