How would Yandere platonic Catherine of Aragorn react to see Reader (Henry’s 8 eldest daughter) holding baby Mary in her arms, saying “Don’t worry baby sister, your older sister will protect you from any dangers.” And she’s rocking Mary back and forth, so she won’t cry and starts singing a lullaby (Reader’s mother was singing the same lullaby, before she died). The same goes for Yandere platonic Anne Boleyn and Jayne Seymour and Henry 8 to see Reader holding baby Elizabeth and Edward rocking them back and forth, singing lullabies.
I think yandere platonic Henry’s 8 wives only wished that Reader would be their daughter. Also this sight would warm their hearts.
So how would Yandere platonic Henry 8, Catherine of Aragorn, Anne Boleyn and Jayne Seymour react to the scenario I wrote above? Can you describe their feelings and what would they do? Something tells me that Mary, Elizabeth and Edward would be obsessed with their older sister.
The Princess is King Henry's first child born to his precious first wife. She's the only Princess who doesn't mind being a girl. Henry has always been the perfect father to the Princess. In fact, Catherine is very happy and emotional at this sight. She's most likely supporting Princess Catherine every time she miscarried and lost a baby. That's why the Princess means a lot to Catherine. For Catherine, the Princess' consolation is the only support for her disappointment and sadness at not giving birth to a man. I think Anne Boleyn will treat the Princess better than Mary. At first it was because she was afraid of the King. However, as she loves the Princess in a short time, she tries to get along with her. When Anne gives birth to a daughter, she finds solace in the Princess. The only shelter of the mother during the miscarriages and baby losses is the Princess. It will likely prevent Princess Anne's execution. However, even if he cannot prevent it, he will protect Elizabeth. The princess will ensure that both Mary and Elizabeth have titles. Thanks to the princess, Mary will be able to see her mother. Mary and Elizabeth become very attached to the Princess after the loss of their mother. Jane loves the Princess very much. She dreams of having a daughter like a Princess. The Princess supports her until Jane gives birth. The princess takes on the role of mother for Edward after Jane dies. Mary, Elizabeth and Edward see the Princess as mother and older sister figures. I expect all three of them will be yandere. The assurance, support, love and attention they receive in their lives comes from the Princess. The Princess takes the place of their mother, who never existed in their lives. So it's not surprising that they developed unhealthy tendencies for the Princess.

Pov: Catherine of Aragon chooses you specifically to be her "Lady in Waiting"
Tumblr media
A/n: I went to see SIX [The US Tour Boleyn Cast] once, and now it's my new hyperfixation. You can kinda tell who my favorite queen is
It's very rare that the Six wives would 'propose' to a Lady in Waiting while touring. First of all, there's only four of you. Second, they're singing to compete for who had it worse with Henry VIII after all.
You were a part of that "Ladies in Waiting" Band, interacting with the Queens between shows was difficult for you, especially. To at least catch the attention of the Golden Queen: Catherine of Aragon.
But seeing how she was always bitter about her divorce with Henry VIII, you just kept your feelings to yourself
It wasn't like you were King Henry VIII's younger sister
You often like to be by your lonesome between shows. To practice even more before the evening show.
That was... Until Catherine of Aragon began joining you on your extra practice sessions.
You also helped her in any way you could with her solo No Way.
You slowly opened up to the idea of enjoying someone's company.
She would often be the one to bring the both of you lunch while you remain behind.
One day, you made the decision to go with her to a lunch outing.
You underestimated how fun it is to be around people. Catherine of Aragon showed that to you.
Right before the evening show, you began unraveling how you felt about her, to her face
"Every time I watch you, whether it was rehearsal or a show... I'm... I'm in awe. I see how your crown makes it look like it was made from the rays of the sun... My Lady, you are as beautiful as the first sunrise..."
Catherine got down on a knee and 'proposes'
"Will you be my 'Lady in Waiting'?"
She gives you a gold rose to place somewhere on your instrument or outfit
Aragon smiles smugly as she catches every glimpse of you wearing the gold rose with pride
Boleyn, Seymour, Cleves, Howard & Parr were surprised to see Catherine finally boasting about something that wasn't about her bitter resentment towards Henry.

Dark Platonic! Father Henry VIII x Reader
Tumblr media
The moment you were born, Henry felt like he should be disappointed that you were born a girl like he how felt with Mary, but instead he felt nothing but love towards you.
He is fiercely protective of you, constantly keeping a watchful eye, ensuring you are surrounded by trusted companions.
Henry VIII is known for his powerful presence, but around you, he softens, displaying a more nurturing side that few get to witness.
Father-daughter bonding time is when Henry indulges you with extravagant gifts and lavish attention.
Your father felt threatened when Catherine, your mother, started to become the center of your attention.
That's where he decided to annul the marriage and get with Anne Boleyn who promised to birth him a male heir.
Your mother and older sister left the court, yet you were to stay with Henry.
Henry wants a male heir not only to rule England after his passing but to also protect you, having a brother will assure that you have a secure future in court.
Or at least that's what he believes.
Also you receive many suitors one of which, is the handsome Edward Seymour.
But your father turns them all down deeming them all unsuitable for his Tudor flower, you.
After hearing the news of your mother on her dying bed, you tried to convince your father to allow you and Mary to visit her.
But he refused.
This made you distance yourself from your father.
After, Anne Boleyn gets beheaded, Jane Seymour dies, you find yourself becoming a mother figure to your younger siblings.
Adding to that, Mary returned to court during Jane Seymour's marriage, so your bonding with her became stronger.
Things were going well, until you have been infected by sweating sickness.
It was a nightmare for Henry, seeing you weak and laying in bed, and he could not do anything to save you.
"Oh God, no, don't take away my sweet girl, not her, please"
He stayed by your bedside until you passed away at the age of barely twenty.

The problem with Six: the musical
Before I start, let me tell you that I LOVE Six; the musical! The songs are catchy and there're lots of great and funny moments. For someone, like me, who has never ever heard of Henry the VII and his six wives, it was a great introduction to the Tudor history and it made me search more about that period, its people, as well as various works that has been inspired. However, I find a problem on the way the musical is structured.
For those of you who don't know, in Six: the musical, the plot has to do with the six wives of Henry the VIII (Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anna of Cleves, Katherine Howard and Catherine Parr) competing over which one had the worst time with Henry. To determine that, each one sings a solo about their lives, inspired by a popular pop idols. As the musical progresses, however, the Queens reveal that the competition was fake to showcase to the audience how dumb it is to compare them based on that.
That's a real nice message and, as Anne Boleyn states, it's a direct critisism to the way that history has always been seen through a patriarchical lens. It wanted to teach the audience that you should judge these women on their character, rather on their awful life with their husband.
But... did the fandom (or, as it likes to call itself, the Queendom) welcome that message?
No, not really...
Even after that reveal, the Queendom still fights over which one is the best Queen or which one had the worst life! Toxic Anne Boleyn fans still hate Jane Seymour and accuse her for all the things they try to prove Anne Boleyn was innocent, like that she stole Henry away of his wife amd ruined said wife's life (now, that's kinda hypocritical, don't you think?)! What most fans remember (and love to make animatics of) are that catfights between the songs, rather the message!
I felt like the musical did nothing different compared to all these works depicting the Tudor area, except from maybe giving the Queens the chance to shittalk about Henry (like stating all the bullshit he's ever done, or claiming he's terrible at s*x or that he's a tiny weenie), but their lives and they way they're viewed still depend on Henry and his treatment towards them. Granted, at least all of them are given an equal amount of focus, as opposed to most works, where only Catherine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn are on the spotlight and the rest have barely enough screentime.
Part of it had to do with the fact that the entire show, as I said above, was built on the competition and only in the end, we had the reveal. I would, personally, had not included the competition or I would still keep it and, either way, I would give the Queens to freedom to sing about their own accomplishments!
Like, wouldn't it be awesome to have a song (or a series/film) about Catherine of Aragon's reign and her battle against the Scots (which, mind you, she did while she was seven-month pregnant), instead of her divorce? Or examing how Anne was a patron of arts, rather her ise and fall? Or about Catherine Parr being a female author at a time where women weren't allowed and encouraged women to do so? Or how she influenced Elizabeth I on how a Queen should rule when Henry was away, making her one of the best monarchs England ever had?
I would really love to see that, instead of the same story being told over and over again in the same style.

can you do yandere Parents king henry viii and all this wife (Separately)
For King Henry, it doesn't matter which wife you were born from. He loves you and pampers you. He is not afraid to let you know that he loves you and show that you are his favourite. He gives you a lot of gifts. He is overprotective of you. It doesn't let you get too far from the palace. It does not allow you to engage in dangerous hobbies. He spends all his free time with you as much as he can. You will be heir to the throne. No one can insult or harm you. He is very willing to fight anyone for you. He worries a lot when you are sick and injured. It will ensure that the best teachers about the lessons come to the Palace. No spouse can treat you badly. He is ready to give up every wife for you.
Catherine of Aragon She is a protective and good mother for you. She adores you to the end. She is very afraid that something will happen to you. She is very careful about your health. It will ensure you get the best education. She is protective of you. She takes care of you himself. She loves spending time together. She wants you to be happy and healthy. You are the only thing that matters to him. She does not neglect to pamper you.
Anna Boleyn She is a possessive and jealous mother. She does not agree to share you with others. It will pamper you to the end. She will do anything to ensure that you ascend the throne. It takes precautions for your safety. She likes to adorn you with expensive and luxurious clothes and jewelry.
Jane Seymor She is a soft and loving mother. She spends all his time with you as much as he can. She's worried about you. She panics when you leave her. You are always a baby in his eyes. She is trying to make you happy.
Since Anne Cleves, Catherine Howard, and Catherine Parr were unable to have children, I will write them as stepmothers. If you would like me to write to a biologic yandere about being a mother, feel free to let me know.
These three women love you very much. They don't hesitate to give you love and attention. They spoil you to the fullest. They take the role of your mother very seriously. They want you to call them mom and see them as your mom. They are trying to win your love by giving you different gifts. They are protective of you. They only take care of you. They do not allow others to approach you.

Unpopular opinions: Elia/Lyanna, Henry VIII/Jane Seymour
So sorry for the late response :) and thank you for indulging me dear xx mwah!
Asked Via: Send me a ship and I'll give you my (brutally) honest opinion on it: https://lady-plantagenet.tumblr.com/post/627331607624302592/send-me-a-ship-and-ill-give-you-my-brutally
Elia/Lyanna: Well, Do you mean like as in femlove or platonic? Because if the former then no, because I feel like the only basis for would be to get back at Rhaegar and I think that’s quite problematic because it becomes the old story of a man being the focal point of a relationship in spite of the fact it’s between women. This point applies whether you mean them being co-wives in an AU or leaving Rhaegar and being just them two. In the latter case if certainly looks like just something built in spite and in the former case... well, I’m not a fan of polygamy. Especially since it’s often 2 women - 1 men and almost never 2 men - one woman. Who knows maybe if Hizdar doesn’t die in the books Dany can change that lmao.
Platonically? It’s interesting because of the contrasting aesthetics and personalities. In a weird way, Elia has more of the traditional westerosi lady in her whereas Lyanna the Dornish spirit (especially if she voluntarily ran off with Rhaegar as this would mean she made her own path). So the way I see it they would compliment each other in a way. I like this platonic ship because it implies Elia doesn’t hold Lyanna responsible for Rhaegar’s actions and Lyanna doesn’t see Elia as the miserly wife that stood between her and happiness. This would be a refreshing portrayal of women.
Henry VIII/Jane Seymour: I don’t know why, but I personally always felt fond of this pairing. I think people who have no concept of history beyond pop culture tend to project onto Jane Seymour and see her as the antithesis to the more ‘Independent Strong Woman’ TM Anne Boleyn. In reality, I do not think people appreciate how conservative Henry VIII was as a man, I mean, he tore the country up to get a divorce but continued to persecute Baptists, Evangelicals AKA the true Protestants. His foreign policies were also very pro-war and I find it funny how he gets compared to Edward IV all the time when the latter was more a true renaissance man than Henry by a long-shot (in spite of the epoque difference).
That is why I think Jane Seymour provided indeed to be his rightful match. She had a lot of the attributes of Queens of Old, namely a merciful and reconciliatory nature. I find her treatment of Mary I (possibly my favourite Tudor) extremely heartwarming and I think that if she lived longer she would have steadied Henry a lot and tapped into his inner-catholicism to spare some of the Catholics. That’s not to say she via manipulation but rather by show of her own virtues (We dont know her but I doubt it). I do believe he truly loved her, because she was more similar to him and in some ways may even have reminded him of Catherine. The son had something to do with it for sure, but it was more than that in any case.
