Choose your Mission Part 2
Masterlist ; Part 1
Tumblr media
Benji Dunn and Ethan Hunt have accepted the mission. Grace has been kidnapped. Your mission should you choose to accept it is to rescue her safe and sound. You have the location of the building she is in, and infiltrate there knowing it is likely a trap. The computer turns on the moment you step close to it, showing you Grace, then it cuts to… Who?
BEFORE VOTING: People with * are extras. If any of them wins they will appear as a potentail ally/foe, and the main antagonist will be the 2nd option with most votes and no *Ex: if Alanna is 1st and then the Entity, both will appear in the story. If the Entity is 1st and Alanna second, just the Entity will appear and you won't have her as a potential ally/foe

Briggs touching everyone's faces in MI7 to make sure they aren't Ethan Hunt is so important to me because you can really only use one trick for so long until people start catching onto what to expect, I'm more surprised checking for masks hasn't really been a thing in m:i until now

Briggs and Ethan definitely had a really messy breakup. Briggs spends the entirety of Dead Reckoning chasing after Ethan. Like it’s giving bitter ex. They should just hate fck before Ethan’s eventual retirement/demise

The movie is hit and miss, but the characterisation of Jasper Briggs in "Mission Impossible 7" is great: 2 cop characters on the trail of Ethan Hunt, one of them tries to speak and negotiate with some guards at the door, and Jasper Briggs (Shea Whigham, of course) just jams a taser into the necks of both of them, and gives his partner a "well are you fucking coming inside?" look. Then later, on the train, in possibly the most Shea Whigham moment: the partner tries to negotiate calmly and speak to the passengers in French so that they may evacuate, and again Jasper just pulls a gun, fires at the ceiling and yells: "Everyone to the back of the fucking train, now!" It sounds sarcastic and glib, but that is genuinely fantastic characterisation, and more than most get in these movies. Touche Whigham! Also the pair play like one is playing the game for the first time, and Jasper's player is a speedrunner who knows this game inside out.

This cross-quarter fire festival is celebrated on August 1st or the first full moon of Leo & the seventh sabbat of the year. It represents the first harvest when the Earth's bounty is given for the abundance received.
Some believe this is the time where the God has weakened & is losing his strength as seen in the waning of the day's light. The Goddess is pregnant with the young God who will be born on Yule.
In some traditions, this day honors the Celt god Lugh, the god of craftsmanship; He is skilled in many things including wheel making, blacksmithing & fighting. Though there is some discrepancy as to why Lugh is honored on this day. Some tales say it's because he held a harvest faire in honor of his adoptive mother, Tailtiu.
