I went to a super unique restaurant the other day. It was decorated with ancient medieval javanese furniture. The lamp, the painting and the plates hung over the wall create the vibe of living in early 30s. It's really enjoyable having lunch here as i got the 'eating at home' kind of feeling. Fyi, this restaurant mainly served duck meat along with special 'sambals'. I had a baby mango one which was really sour but spicy. Meanwhile my friend got the one which was basically a compound of tons of chillies and onions. Her tongue might get burned 😂. Fyi, If you are into javanese traditional drinks, you can also get a glass of 'sinom' and 'beras kencur'

Produced as a by-product of Tauhu by fermenting the waste curds with a yeast culture similar to Tempeh, the end result is reddish in colour with a sweet cheesy aroma and spongy yet firm texture.
