saw the creator (2023) like a week ago and haven't stopped thinking about it since. definitely one of my favorite jdw performances, and one of the few movies that doesn't even ask Are Robots People TM but comes out swinging. massively pro robot fucker. gareth edwards tried to work through the orientalism inherent to blade runner/apocalypse now and like....he may not have gotten around it, but he did frame the film around US imperialism and the vietnam war, so. my main criticism is that pretty much every area of the script needed to dig like. 15% deeper. overall, massively refreshing to see something that isn't legacy intellectual property take itself seriously, even if it doesn't always succeed

I'm kind of so obsessed with your mind because as someone who's currently hyperfixated on Boyd (Been for like...3 months now) I'm so used to seeing everyone characterise Pierce as this daddy dom truly confident big badass guy and then there's you.. you who truly just GETS the vision of the loser he is <3 literally in love with your Pierce

Hahaha I love you, anon. Yeah, I cannot see Pierce as a daddy dom in any way shape or form. If anything, he’s a brat that yearns for a daddy to take care of him!

Even in the film, Pierce is not especially confident! He’s *cocky*, but he cracks under pressure easy, defers to his boss in a big way, and overall shows a *lot* of terror as the movie goes on.

The trailer looks awesome. I heard they are pushing this for awards especially in the acting catergories and script, Samuel L Jackson and Danielle Deadwyler for suporting actress. A great cast with also JD Washington, Ray Fisher. Denzel wife and daughter are in the movie,a family thing for sure.
