So here is a new place that opened in #Jeddah, another breakfast/brunch restaurant. Now, look wise, its lovely, a lot of light, coming in with nicely spaced out tables and very friendly waiters. Option wise, there are so many options to pick from which is great! Creative dishes as well. HOWEVER, when it comes to flavor... its ok. I mean it didnt have the mmmm factor I MUST come back for seconds... it was a meal that fulfilled my hunger needs. Prob the salads or desserts would had been better but for the 3 orders we had it was simply just ok. I know I would not crave them again and say OMG you have to try this or that. But then again I was told I am not very easy to please (we all know I got that from my mamah) lastly, price wise, its considered pricey for what we have ordered. I mean an egg burrito, egg tacos, hash browns 2 orange juices and a small bottle of sparikling water came up to a total of 168, like DAMN they only eggs son! I will go back for the french toast because it looks amazing, and @rzhealth promised on 1/1/21 she gon take me cause I have been off sugar since ummm Oct. I cannot wait to have this at the restaurant itself; @extseventeen was kind enough to prepare a to go meal for me to try it and I am quite thankful for them. The chimichurri steak sandwich was just simply (mmmm) i mean look at it... AMAZING! Cooked the way I like it; served with a generous amount of steak; sautéed vegetable, homemade spicy mustard and chimichurri sauce. Alh ya @fuji_saudi ... what can I say about you... You have invested so much in the decor of the restaurant to give us a feel of #japan in the middle east. The private rooms upstairs and #kimonos to wear while dining at Fuji is an experience... but when it comes to food; you kinda went very basic; too basic that I do not think I will ever crave the dishes I’ve ordered on my first visit (I will come back because I did enjoy my experience there plus I did not try your meat yet...and yes your host and waitresses were amazingly pleasant) NOW the moment everyone is waiting for: 1. Juice: too sweet just looks pretty but the sugar overtakes the flavor of any of the fruits of vegetables that is suppose to be innit. 2. Avocado Crab Salad... less lettuce more avocado please. 3. Shrimp tempura: basic. Pricy for basic.... 4. Salmon... well ask @nouraalakel what she thought of it; I do t do Salmon. 5. We ordered 3 different sushi orders; the crispy in the california rolls was not crispy #fail; I do not remember the names of the other two; but they were ok. Not “omg” another order of this please; it didn’t have the mmmm factor (to me; so ppl don’t get offended when i state my unfiltered opinion) • • • Now that was MY opinion on the items ordered; others could have different opinions. (But don’t hate on me cause I chose to state mine) If you think thats me (ادق بالكلام) lol u got that right.... • • • For the items we ordered and flavor to me it was a bit overly priced. Looking at these photos again makes my mouth water... so good from @crispyhouse.ksa Soft buns crispy chicken — which is not so big that i have a hard time eating... no this is simply perfect. Not my proudest food photography photos lol, but personally i didnt think i was going out for lunch until 5 min before arriving here to @planbksa not to be mistaken for @sectionb_sa ....# For starters have confidence in yourself and don’t think you’re anyones #PlanB always expect to be #PlanA... but in your case; you were my plan b 😂😪 @160burger opens at 2 and i was there at 11:39. Felt like errbodys Motha in that place lol. Now; jokes aside, how did it taste? Size wise it was amazing. Not too small (#slider size) not too big where I cannot finish it; just perfectly sized. #SoftBuns #softpotato buns... the way I like it. Not oily; nor did i feel it was heavy. Location wise: perfect if i was a student at #KAU or #DAH friendly employees; not too big of a chicken burger (which is good; i had control handling it) Now will i drive all the way from Salamah to Jam3a district for it? Nah, but don’t mind having it again when i am there. Lastly; #dessert? My cousin and I gave @zed.ksa a visit today; loved everything about it; from the decor to the customer service and food. I would defiantly go back again for both iced coffee; and food. The layout of the place is so welcoming that you would want to spend more time there than just grab a bite and leave. From my recent visit to @bateelgourmet, #jeddah. Everything from service tk food was exceptional except for the #tagliata, super dry even though i requested it to be cooked medium. I told them to take it back in which they did and offeres to make a new one or replace it with something else; in which I got the #pasta instead. Was not a fan of the over priced bottled of sparkling #dates and #pomogrante that didn’t even taste that great. So there is a new restaurant in town and who said good dishes doesn't come in small sizes; thats basically the only thing i truly appreciate about @Baco.sa I almost tried all the dishes they currently offer. Personally, Not a fan of #CornTortillas and thats how they serve their #tacos. As for the #bao the #buns are nice as well as the #meat stuffing but the chicken was nor crispy or enough chicken for me (others might disagree with me, but hey! this is about my opinion lol) Now the #salads, I really disliked the sauce of the #DuckSalad but the crispiness of the #duck itself was on point. Was not really a fan of the noodles in the #ThaiSalad. As for the #cheeseburger #springroll, reminded me of the ones I had in #london at @ichibuns #WagyuHarumaki so thank you for brining a bit of London here... Lastly, even the dessert is bite size, #FrenchToast but was a bit gooey from the inside, doesn't bother me much (omg raw eggs). Finally after 4 years or so I got to try @sura_ksa; it was a wonderful experience with the authentic seating and dishes. Waiters were super nice and pleasant; the food flavor and portions were decent; we ate everything we ordered and at one point we thought we might had over ordered. Anyways, my fav was the first image; a bit sweet meat; the way i like it. Even though I said i was done with @urbkitchen.ksa before; my cousin convinced me to try it again (they have improved she said) so we went for breakfast yesterday. Yes they have and have not in some areas: please continue reading. #Buratta on a toast with sweet onions. #fav #avocado on a toast with #pouchedeggs bardo good but the avocado for me was more on the sour/lime side than sweet side (its a sweet fruit; why make it taste lemon-ee?) #pancakes. Full of flavor, #fluffy crispy i liked it.
