Edit: If you get salmonella from this, you need to do your best to remain hydrated. It causes severe diarrhea, so you need to make sure you constantly take in fluids. It's rare to need to be hospitalized for this and/or die.

After binge watching ST4 for 9 hours exhausted, I went downstairs to eat something and I shit you not nearly jumped at the sight of a JIF peanut butter jar sitting on the counter and the fuzz in my brain left and that scene of Hopper eating peanut butter played on loop.

Anyone know what type of peanut butter Reese's Pieces use? FDA list says it's not one of the many candies affected by the Jif recall, but that could just mean it's not on the list yet. They keep expanding it every day

A quick PSA: There’s been a recall on various JIF Peanut Butter jars and single serving packs due to salmonella contamination. A list of the recalled products lot numbers can be found here on the FDA’s website.

I know a lot of people rely on peanut butter for an easy meal, and that food pantries usually have the jars by the dozen, so make sure to check anything you’ve gotten in the last couple weeks. You may also want to check in on relatives or friends who may not have heard of the recall and get them to check their jars.
