During my CCC playthrough I've noticed that Gilgamesh and Jinako have pretty similar last SGs "Curse of Death" and "Poison of Death" where it said how they both accepted their mortality but at the same time they both took a different approach in this acceptance.

Gilgamesh went on a long journey to gain immortality; lost it but became fully mature during that time and just came back to Uruk and was ruling the city as a righteous king when Jinako chose to close herself and just wait for her death instead of experiencing life to its fullest and maybe I think that's the main reason why Gilgamesh being harsh towards her, because she chose to just give up.
