a/n: okay so initially i just wanted to quickly reply to this but it kind of escalated so uh yeah! here's a lil headcanon drabble :D thank you for the idea anon

oh she definitely would. one scenario that immediately came to my mind is what if you're having a rough day and your confidence has taken a blow. you're feeling vulnerable, insecure and cannot stop thinking about everything that went wrong today. BUT you have your amazing girlfriend jinx there to help you and she has an idea for getting your spirits up. she asks you to give up the control to her tonight and let her do all the thinking. your only job is to take off your clothes, lay on your stomach and relax. once you're naked and settled on the comfy bed, jinx takes out some body safe markers and soon you can feel the slight cold of the marker's tip dragging along your back. at first, you think she is just doodling random stuff but you soon realize she's writing something too. when you try to ask her, she just lightly shushes you and tells you to be patient. so you let her have her fun. once she runs out of space, jinx caresses your hair as she waits for the paint to dry. when that's done she instructs you to turn over, lay on your back and close your eyes. again, you feel the slowly drying paint lines being drawn on your skin and you cannot wait to see what she adorned it with. once she's satisfied with her work, she tells you to just wait for a little bit longer and asks you if she can photograph the masterpiece that is your body. once you give your consent, she reaches for the polaroid camera and immortalizes your beauty in the images she takes. once she's done, she leads you in front of the mirror and tells you that you can finally open your eyes. the sight that greets you instantly brings tears to your eyes. amongst the cute doodles of flowers and stars, jinx wrote words of praise all over you body. 'beautiful' on your tummy, 'strong' on your shoulders, 'gentle' on your hands, 'warm' on your arms and so on. she decorated your stretch marks with rainbow colored lines and drew hearts around your scars. but your favorite one was the word 'mine' written with red paint over your heart. you threw yourself in her arms and she hugged you with all her might, letting you cry your pain out. she'd always be here to listen and to hold you all night long.

• powder was already suffering from mental illness and inferiority complex (the latter mostly because of mylo) before everything that happened. you can see it in the way she bases her self-worth on how useful she is to the group, and also her breakdown when vi told her to stay back. the explosion is what ultimately caused her downward spiral, but she showed symptoms of mental illness prior to it

• powder was already a cruel and deranged girl, shown by her infatuation with weaponry and building weapons to kill- like her nail bombs

• speaking of, her infatuation with explosives began as an interest in gunsmithing (mostly out of a misguided belief that a gun could have saved her parents) that never amounted to anything but a mess of split barrels and burnt hand carved grips before vi convinced her to try skipping the middle step and make straight up explosives. after those didn't work either is when mylo started to call her a jinx

• she likes explosions because the ringing in her ears drowns out the voices in her head

•her blue smoke tattoos are a cry for help to vi- she never set off the flare so her other way of setting it off was to get the tattoos •silco braids jinx's hair whenever it grows too long. it's like meditation for him and allows him to reassess the world about him as he washes, combs and weaves her ever lengthening hair and admire the perfection that is his loving, growing daughter •this is the only time jinx allows her guard down around others. it's the only time that she can close her eyes and yet not hear the voices of her demons without loud music or explosions to drown them out

• jinx/powder are not anyone different. jinx is what powder would become anyway + mental issues due to her past. she would always be the cruel, chaotic, bomb mechanic girl. of course she would be better mentally if she didnt have her traumas and had a healthy enviroment but she is who she is.

• so powder is not gone, she just grew up. "jinx" is just her way to deal with her traumas, which clearly is not working well. this dealing method was told her by silco who believes he was reborn or something, leaving his weak past behind. "jinx" is an attempt of doing that but it doesnt work because their traumas are not the same as silco thinks so.

Jinx Headcanons 💣

Jinx headcanons because our girl is the be-all and end-all of this show. And our hearts. (Don't hurt us, Jinx.). 

Massive tw: for PTSD, codependency, violence, drug use and messed-up family dynamics. Freud would have a field day. 

Erratic sleep schedule is a given. Her circadian rhythms - paired with the absence of sunlight in the Lanes - are absolutely haywire. The more sleep-deprived she is, the worse her hallucinations get, until something gives - or explodes. She'll either collapse in a dead faint or throw a destructive fit. Anything to shut her brain off.

Loves cherries. Remembers stealing a bowlful from a Piltie mansion with Vi and the boys. She's been obsessed ever since, and associates the flavor with happy Vi-memories. Once Silco learnt her weakness for cherries, he'd buy her the maraschino kind (non-perishable and pricier) after each successful bloodbath. Barely remembers her mother, and feels guilty about forgetting her. Each time she pictures her face, Vi's features tend to supersede in its place. (Poor Jinx).

Associates colors and sensations with people. Silco calls to mind a black box; no light seeps in, but you can whisper your secrets in there for safekeeping. Vi is like a blazing fire; you're drawn to the warmth, but if you roll too close, it’ll scorch you.

She never grieved Vander's death. Her mind just closed up shop on the idea of him. Nor was it ever safe to grieve him - with Silco badmouthing him any chance he got. The only mercy is that at least Vander isn't part of her spooky entourage of ghosts.

Has a nonlinear grasp of time, and finds it either slows down or goes by waaay too fast. Disturbingly, this makes her extremely adept at combat, and a veritable terror to enemies: she seems to move between eye-blinks and anticipate attacks before they occur. (Timebomb is practically a canon ship for a reason, y'all.)

For a year after the factory debacle, her night terrors were so bad that Silco used to ply her with laudanum to keep her from scratching herself bloody in her sleep. Then one night, he overdid the dose and she nearly choked on her own vomit. He felt acutely awful, and thereafter, has always let her climb into bed with him if she has a nightmare.

With no female role models, she grew up emulating the ladies at the Drop in terms of appearance and attitude. Keep in mind, said ladies are strippers, prostitutes and sex tourists. The result is that she comes off as inappropriately flirty in her body-language.

Grew up under Silco’s wing with absolutely no concept of physical inhibition. He never chastised her for behaving in an ‘immature’ or ‘unladylike’ manner. The opposite: he encouraged her to be comfortable with her body, and take care of it. While she doesn’t buy into the whole ‘my body is a temple’ shtick, she’s grown up to be pretty damn satisfied with her appearance, and isn’t above using it as a tool to throw opponents off-guard.

When she joined Silco's crew, she was still afraid of heights. Silco turned her phobia against her in a test of devotion, by climbing a dizzyingly high scaffolding, then pretending to nearly fall off. She hauled ass to climb up and catch him. Once she'd reached the top, he "miraculously" regained his balance and patted her cheek. "See? You've always had it in you."

She knows - and has always known - Silco's morals are reprehensible. She just doesn't care. Vi is gone. So is everyone else. Who else is left to love her?

She likes the aroma of Silco's bergamot cologne. Ostensibly, she mocks him by calling it a girly fragrance. But it calms her and keeps her grounded. Sometimes she'll spritz a dash on her neck, or on her pillowcase. 

Vi used to help her with her hairdos. Sometimes they'd have hairwashing days together, to check for mange or lice. For the longest time, she'd let nobody near her hair after her sister's 'death.' Started looking pretty damn disheveled. Then she got tar in her hair after an accident in her workshop. Sevika tried buzzing her hair off. Silco interceded, and used an entire jar of vegetable oil to get the gunk out. Afterward, she let him wash her hair in the sink, and braid it. Now it's a weekly ritual between them.

Suffers from both amenorrhea and excruciating endometriosis. Her wails during the latter could wake the dead. Even Sevika feels sorry for her during those days.

Her memory is - on the surface - a fluid thing that can blur fact with fiction to suit her immediate needs. As such, sometimes she'll outright rewrite her memory to believe she was Silco's daughter all along - cared-for and catered to. Her 'fake' family never recognized her talents - or loved her. Her 'real' family does. 

Knows, in her heart of hearts, she'll be always Vi's sister before anything else.

A/N: felt bad for taking so long with posting part two to my vampire jinx fic. The delay is due to a combination of me being a procrastinator and me not fully sure of how to write it. In a few days she'd become a legend. Making chaotic videos of her causing mischief and being a menace to her sister

basically jinx/powder and vi both have adhd but different types of it

vi is kinda like a hyperfixated adhd, where her behavior looks a lot less chaotic bc all her actions are aiming towards the same goal- that’s why she also kinda blocks out everything else in pursuit of that goal.

jinx on the other hand is a hyperactive-emotional adhd, so her actions come across far more chaotic due to the heavy emotional backings that are difficult to control, and because she seems to be constantly taking in every single detail around her 24/7

I don’t know exactly what you can expect from Jinx but in fact she wouldn’t feel the slightest detachment, indeed.

Piltover is colorful, often there are events in the square with balloons and sweets -and God knows how much that girl loves to have her mouth full of sugar.

The hard part would be to try to accustom her to the fact that Piltover has very different habits from Zaun: you can’t use such a mocking tone with strangers, you have to keep your voice a little lower, you avoid puddles and don’t jump in, you chew with your mouth closed, ... 

They are pillars of basic education that occasionally make you nervous, but you have to remember not only that where she comes from the purpose is not to look good but to survive, but that she also was missing the figure of the educator.

And that’s kinda her way of being the center of attention, too.

"Pilties do a lot of nonsensical things" is a sentence you will hear whenever you try to explain to her that something she did was not right, in a tone more bored than angry.

But to regain her sympathy you know that you just need to take her to the zoo, the square, or eventually to a candy store.

I would really like to tell you that the problems with her end here, but it is not an easy subject at all and as much as it brightens your days and makes them less boring she would cause many problems even inside your family, forcing you to talk about her almost as if you were talking about a dog rather than a person

She has a more... aggressive view of the city upstairs.

The first meeting and the first words? Absolutely prompt, spontaneous, memorable, but everything changes as soon as you say or she understand that you do not belong to lanes.

She doesn’t want to be associated with the extremist view of "Pilties are enemies" but still has a lot of trouble trusting you knowing that probably in your look there is crap, pity, disgust toward her and her people... You’re not looking at a peer, you’re looking at a filthy rat sneaking through tunnels and sewers.

Obtaining her confidence is the hardest part, but from there it’s all downhill. 

to make her fall in love with you is your skin, or rather, the contact with it.

when you extend your hand to clean a cheek of hers she pulls back, but as soon as understands that that contact is not hostile she will abandon totally and begins to look for it more and more frequently.

It’s hard to love someone whose skin smells so artificial and different from yours. Your skin tastes like perfume, expensive soaps, creams and weird products, hers instead of rain, earth, the wood of the counter and blood.

Often you should deal with her self-sabotage, her terror of not being enough is the real obstacle to your relationship: why should a person accustomed to the sun seek happiness in the shadows?

And it would be difficult even for something as simple as helping and giving gifts. It may be your love language, but she tends to misunderstand and read it as a gesture of sorrow.

But once you understand that it is enough to roll your eyes and answer to her sharply the difference of your origins becomes less and less a problem, to the point that you can even joke about it.

- when she just finished an invention or something, she's running to get you and show you with the biggest smile on her face, all giddy and excited for how you'd react to it. and at times when she's making things for you, she'd try her hardest to cover it up so you don't spoil the surprise, but sometimes the usual excuses can only go so far.

- she loves you dad/mom jokes. sometimes the jokes are enough to make her groan and roll her eyes at you, but she still finds them funny. would sit down and listen to your jokes for hours to no end also because she loves the sound of your voice, she always perks up at the sound of it no matter how far.

- it's enough to make her cry, like bawl her eyes out cause she's still not over vander's death, so to have someone like you, it's almost too much for her to handle. and though it would take a lot of trust for her to finally feel comfortable showing signs of vulnerability in front of you, it's still so heartwarming to her that you'd never want to leave her side.

- your jokes do make her cringe at times, but she loves them and she loves you, so a cheesy joke or two couldn't hurt. she also loves the sound of your voice, it's enough to soothe her to sleep and she loves hearing you hum or sing a lullaby of some sort to her, whether it's to help her sleep or after a stressful day.

- sometimes she likes to show you what new moves she's picked up and though she's a bit sheepish about showing you, the look of amazement on your face makes it go away to some extent. and to hear you say how you know she won or you know she will, brings her this confidence that no one can rid of.
