Orso bruno europeo: la storia di JJ4

L'orso bruno europeo JJ4 continua a far parlare di sé. O meglio, la vicenda dell'orsa che lo scorso 5 marzo ha aggredito il runner Andrea Papi uccidendolo continua a dividere l'opinione pubblica e non solo. Tutti gli attori di questa storia esprimono opinioni diverse e contrastanti tra loro. Intanto l'orsa è stata catturata e molto probabilmente sarà abbattuta. Ricapitoliamo la sua storia. Il progetto Life Ursus Nel 1999 è partito Life Ursus, il progetto finanziato dalla Comunità europea per il ripopolamento dell'orso bruno europeo. In Trentino, dove la specie si era ridotta quasi all'estinzione, tra il 1999 e il 2002 sono stati rilasciati 10 orsi nati in libertà in Slovenia. A poco più di vent'anni dall'inizio del progetto l'ambientazione degli esemplari non ha registrato problemi tranne poche eccezioni. Oggi, grazie al progetto, gli esemplari che abitano in Trentino sarebbero arrivati a 100, un numero che potrebbe creare qualche difficoltà. Per monitorarli i responsabili del progetto li hanno denominati con delle sigle. Alcune di queste sigle sono composte da F o M a seconda che si tratti di esemplari femmine o maschi e un numero progressivo, altre riportano le iniziali dei genitori seguite da un numero che indica l'ordine di nascita. "Vizio di famiglia" Tra gli orsi arrivati in Trentino vent'anni fa ci sono anche Joze e Jurka. Il primo è un maschio rilasciato nel 2000, la seconda una femmina rilasciata nel 2001. La coppia ha avuto quattro cuccioli denominati JJ1, JJ2, JJ3 e JJ4. I primi tre sono maschi, la quarta è una femmina ed è l'orsa di cui si parla tanto in queste settimane. Dicevamo che il processo di adeguamento degli orsi all'ambiente non ha dato problemi tranne rare eccezioni. Alcune di queste eccezioni sono state rappresentate da JJ1 che, giunto prima in Austria poi in Germania, ha creato non pochi problemi ad alcune imprese agricole e allevamenti. Dopo aver cercato più volte di rieducarlo nel 2016 hanno dovuto abbatterlo. JJ2 si è integrato con l'ambiente antropico senza troppi problemi. JJ3 ha sconfinato in Austria dove l'a sua 'eccessiva interazione con l'ambiente ha reso inevitabile il suo abbattimento. L'orso bruno europeo JJ4 Lo scorso 5 marzo il runner Andrea Papi, che si trovava nei boschi del Trentino, si è imbattuto nell'orsa JJ4 che lo ha aggredito e ucciso. Un gesto da molti interpretato come difesa dei suoi cuccioli. Non era la prima volta che l'orsa si rendeva protagonista di un gesto simile solo che prima di allora non aveva mai ucciso nessuno ma solo ferito. Quando gli episodi di aggressione non sono molto gravi la procedura prevede che l'animale sia catturato e gli sia messo un radiocollare. Può essere poi trasferito in un'altra area o essere messo in cattività. Quando gli episodi sono gravi, invece, si procede con l'abbattimento dell'animale. Gli interventi da effettuare sono stabiliti in base ai comportamenti dell'orso classificati per la loro pericolosità nel Piano d’azione interregionale per la conservazione dell’Orso bruno sulle Alpi centro-orientali (detto PACOBACE). Partendo dal presupposto che se l'orso si ambienta e si abitua alla presenza dell'uomo può avvicinarsi di più a lui generando sempre più situazioni potenzialmente pericolose, il documento ha subito delle variazioni negli anni. In principio gli atteggiamenti di difesa di un'orsa nei confronti dei propri cuccioli non era considerato a rischio. Oggi invece rientra tra gli atteggiamenti che prevedono l'abbattimento. Il presidente della provincia autonoma Maurizio Fugatti ha ordinato l’abbattimento dell’orsa ma il TAR di Trento ha bloccato l'ordinanza. Le associazioni animaliste hanno lanciato una petizione per fermare l'abbattimento dell'orsa. Anche la famiglia della vittima non si è dichiarata favorevole all'abbattimento dell'animale. Schierarsi dalla parte dell'orso o dell'uomo ha poco senso. Occorre piuttosto ripensare ai programmi di ripopolamento, monitorare al meglio gli sviluppi per trovare un equilibrio più sano tra uomo e natura. PER FAVORE, LA PAROLA ALLA DIFESA: BREVI CONSIDERAZIONI SUL PERCHÉ LA CODANNA A MORTE PER L'ORSO È INSENSATA DA OGNI PUNTO DI VISTA Ora che sappiamo il  nome del "colpevole" della morte di Andrea Papi, il giovane runner ucciso da un orso in Trentino, avremmo il dovere di esaminare come sia effettivamente potuto accadere. Di sicuro, se fosse un essere umano ora sarebbe il turno della difesa, visto che l'accusa ha già parlato e ha addirittura stabilito la sentenza: condanna a morte. Ma Jj4 (questo il nome dell'orso, una femmina) non è un essere umano e questo è solo un post che non ha alcuna voce in capitolo. Forse però qualche riflessione potrebbe aiutarci. Se non altro per aver chiare le responsabilità. Perché su una cosa non ci dovrebbe essere alcun dubbio, proprio perché si parla di un orso e l'orso per forza di cosa fa l'orso, ucciderlo non ha senso a prescindere. Immaginiamo invece, per un attimo, che Jj4, sia qualcosa che non è: tipo un essere umano, un pericoloso killer che si aggira per i nostri boschi.   Tanto per cominciare Jj4 si trovava in un luogo in cui era segnalata la sua possibile presenza (all'imboccatura del sentiero in cui è avvenuto il "delitto" è presente un cartello che indica chiaramente che in zona può esserci l'orso). Questo ci porta a dire che non c'è stato alcun "sconfinamento", quindi, da questo punto, di vista l'orso è innocente. Jj4 aveva il radio collare a causa di una precedente presunta aggressione avvenuta nel 2020. Ma il radio collare era scarico. Uno strumento potenzialmente utile a evitare che l'orsa si avvicinasse troppo ai centri urbanizzati (anche se non utile a impedire un incontro ravvicinato) non funzionava. Non è certo compito dell'orso ricaricare il radio collare. Quindi Jj4 anche qui è innocente. Non basta: tutti i fratelli di Jj4 si sono dimostrati "confidenti". E sono morti. Bruno (Jj1) è stato ucciso in Germania nel 2006. Jj3 è stato ucciso in Svizzera nel 2008. Lumpaz (Jj2) dopo aver fatto alcune scorribande è scomparso nel 2005. Quasi sicuramente è morto. L'attenuante in questo caso è che, come evidenzia il Documento sugli Orsi Problematici: "L’insorgere di tali comportamenti che indicano una perdita della naturale paura dell’uomo è soprattutto una conseguenza del condizionamento alimentare o dell’abituazione all’uomo, che porta alcuni individui ad avvicinarsi o entrare nei centri abitati per alimentarsi su fonti di cibo di origine antropica, come ad esempio cassonetti dell’umido o scarti di ristoranti". Anche in questo caso quindi la colpa sarebbe principalmente nostra e Jj4 risulterebbe sostanzialmente innocente. Non è certo colpa sua se non siamo stati in grado di mantenere le giuste distanze. Infine, per concludere, la LAV avrebbe già individuato un Santuario in grado di poter accogliere Jj4 e metterla quindi in condizione di non nuocere ancora. Con tutte queste attenuanti non occorre essere Robet Badinter per chiedere che a Jj4 venga almeno risparmiata la vita.

I really cant get over how trish said ‘im missing a piece without you’ they really meant everything to eachother and they wont even see eachother again. URGHH but i feel like it makes sense that they end along with the show since they were the heartbeat of the show

wow that... that hit me hard :( I’m still processing everything that happened this season, and while I do think Trish’s downfall was beautifully executed and was totally IC for her, I would have enjoyed a redemption arc way more. I honestly thought that was what they going for, but they decided to take her down a much darker path. It was very interesting to watch, but I’m... honestly tired of depressing, miserable endings. I just wanted my favorite characters to have good endings, you know? I wanted the writers to give them hope. But nah, life just sucks for Jessica Jones and Trish Walker.

I just wanna say

Krysten Ritter did and amazing job directing the 2nd episode of the final season. For a newbie director, she perfectly showed Trish’s origin story into becoming Hellcat that it made me wish she directed the actual Hellcat episode, as well (although that episode wasn’t really that bad). It goes to show how Krysten knew not just Jessica Jones inside out, but Trish as well. It also made it hard for the audience who to root for in the end because we got to see and understand the perspectives of both Jess and Trish.

I’m really bummed that this was the final season. I would’ve wanted to see Krysten Ritter direct more episodes.😭
