A Deadbeatsâs Journal 26
A Jotaro Kujo x Blackfemreader ficÂ
Third person Narration.
Following the outburst, Emmanuel never spoke to her again. He never even attempted to make her life more difficult and instead remained neutral. Heâd hand over assignments when given and would politely answer questions when instructed. Y/n may have struggled a bit more in class but as the days turned to weeks, immersion enabled her to have a greater grasp at the language, much greater than that when she worked at starfish.Â
âSomeone knows how to hold a grudge.â Patience remarks after they finish with removing the maize from the cob. Abdul had the bright idea to make birria tacos entirely from scratch and suddenly their formerly peaceful Saturday has turned into a learning session on how to make flour with your food processor (It's relatively easy).
âWHO?â Abdul says aloud as he switches the noisy processor once on.
âY/N STUDENT!.â She responds back in similar volume.
âJust let him finish grinding before you decide on airing out my dirty laundry.â Y/n annoyingly mutters as the machine comes to a halt.
âHeâs a 17 year old who everyone calls Manuel except Y/n. They had surprisingly gotten close until I mentioned that she shouldnât be paying him for T.A. services.Y/n got mad, they had a fall out and he has refused to talk to her outside classroom etiquetteâ
âWhoa, why wouldnât you pay the boy?âhe says in shock whilst kneading the dough
âPatience said that they can use it to buy drugs and kickstart another cartel in the area.âY/n says calmly
âI did not.I only said that they can buy drugs, you filled up the gaps with your whimsical, pessimistic imagination!â Patience retaliates, almost throwing the cob she held crashing to her premade maize seeds.
âYou implied itâ Y/n retaliates in annoyance.
âNo I did not , Before you got all hot headed, I was to suggest an alternative solutionâ Patience mumbles.
âWhich was?â
âSetting him up with a minorâs bank account to analyse his monthly transactions and notice an unusual fluctuation.âPatience knowingly advices
âOhâÂ
âYeah, âOhâ now this argument with him is all on youâ Patience rubs it in by pulling her tongue out mockingly.
Suddenly the phone rings and Y/n snatches it and runs to the balcony. Once their sliding windows are fastened, she responds with a slightly gleeful tone.
âHi Jojoâ
âHi my loveâ He says tiredly.
âHow have you been?â
âTired , the ride from Zanzibar to Mocimboa was hectic. But Iâm glad I made it in time, it's a quiet city yet beautiful in its old town architecture.â
âThatâs wonderful. I hope you enjoy yourself there.â
âHow can I enjoy myself when you are literally miles away? It takes so much willpower for me not to book a flight and see you.âhe sadly admits and Y/nâs breath hitches.
âI thought you loved this Indiana Jones -esque adventure.â Y/n says lightheartedly.
âI did, before I realised how lonely Iâd get. I canât stand the emptiness I feel. I see people with their loved ones and think to myself that it would have been me if I didnât attempt to run away. Would it have been bad to just stay where we were my love? Weâd have been so happy.âJotaro chokes out the last of his sentences. Y/n sits on the cold tiles, perplexed but most importantly pained. Sheâs never seen him so open to his thoughts, being blunt and exposing recently hurt scars are two different things and he exposed his bleeding flesh to her.
âI can always come to you, Say the word,Iâll be there.â Y/n assures after a short silence.
âNo baby , you enjoy your days with your friends, Iâm just down.â He calmly reassures despite his tone implying anything other than those bitter words he said out loud.
âCome over, even if it's just for five days, you canât stay alone. Just come over, We didnât mean weâd never see each other throughout the year. Iâd have visited you were it not for the fact that Iâm still relatively new.âY/n insisted, pout stretching her downturn face even more.
âWhat about Patience and Abdul? Iâd feel intrusiveâ He questions waringly
âIf I have to put on noise cancelling ear muffs whenever they come home with someone, they can afford to give me some space with you. Besides weâre celibate, whatâs the big deal?â Y/n questions with even more confusion.
âThatâs not what⌠anyway it's fine. Iâll find my way to you soon.âHe says in a slight sigh, mouth curling up to smile wider at her implication.
âThank you! I canât wait!â She cheers afterwards as he chuckles out , the tense atmosphere dissipating as Y/n exchanges a series of events , minus her abrupt resignation that leaves Jotaro chuckling at her exaggerated display of each occurrence between themÂ
âI need to sleep, Will you let me sleep?â Jotaro softly questions as another anecdote winds down.
ââOh I almost forgot about the time difference, Okay Iâll let you go, see you soon I hope?â Y/n replies, the ending notes of her sentence having a softer response.
âVery soon. I love you.â
âI love you too.âÂ
And she cuts the call. Mind euphoric with the possibility of seeing her boyfriend again. Suddenly she realises a thought and slams the door open and dashes back to the kitchen, the duo is almost done with the tortillas, meat already ready for consumption.
âSo nice of you to finally join us once more, my liege. Your chefs have been hard at duty preparing a meal that only your royal mouth should access.âPatience mockingly states in an awful imitation of Victorian English, as soon as she steps to the kitchen.
âHow wonderful ! Perhaps tonight I may let you see your families if all goes well.âY/n responds unruffled.
âHow kind of you!â Abdul inserts himself with another subpar attempt.
âAnyways , Jojo is coming.â Y/n says with a small smile as she reinserts herself in the conveyor belt of rolling , pan frying and sitting the tortillas.
âReally? When?â Patience asks in slight shock as she fails at rolling another tortilla in a perfect circle
âYou both canât stand even a month passing without seeing one another huh?â Abdul laughs out as he flips over one.
âHe seems a bit down and if I will be the cause of his happiness, so be it.âY/n responds as she sticks out her tongue to him.
âYou? cause of happiness? Werenât we discussing Emmanuel just an hour ago?â Patience references in mock.
âJotaro considers me his sunshine, everyone elseâs opinion pales in comparisonâShe says haughtily.
âMore like a black hole.â Abdul mumbles which ensues another bickering session and by the time that dials down, they sit down for dinner.
âOh and by the way, Tomorrow I may be busy after work so yâall do what you need to do but donât ask me whatâs for dinner, I couldnât care less.â He says as they sit down and switch on netflix, an unhealthy amount of birria tacos in every oneâs plate
âOh, what a surprise, whoâs the lucky lady?â Patience questions , eyebrow raised at the surprising news.
âWhy would you assume sheâs a woman? Maybe Iâd have involved myself with a mafioso and my parents sold me to them once every week to pay for their debt.â He responds calmly.
Y/n side eyes and responds,
âYouâve been giggling at your phone for the past few days. One minute you're upside down on the sofa , sprawled out laughing and the next minute you are attempting to walk the walls.âÂ
âWas it that obvious?â He mumbles with a slight chuckle of defeat.
âYouâre acting like you didnât want us questioning who she is for the past few days.âPatience retorts
âAnd why didnât youâ He responds
âIâm self centredâ Y/n muses
âI couldnât give less of a f-â
âOkay , since you guys are practically pulling my socks, Iâll tell you. Sheâs a data analyst like me and when I tell you she is the definition of a goddess, I donât think youâll believe me. And sheâs also from Kenya. Her name is ..â
âHold on , you came all the way to Brazil and somehow still found a kenyan. You really should look into diversifying your dating pool.â Patience interrupts and Y/n chuckles.
âSays the whore , anyway sheâs Jane and prefers to go by Wanjiku.âHe smiles absentmindedly in response.
âLook who is in looooveeee.â Y/n jests before adding
âBut seriously Iâm happy for you. I hope sheâll continue to make you as happy as you areâ
âThank youâ
âYeah congrats man . Seriously,âÂ
* * *
After excusing the class, she sits at her table before saying.
âEmmanuel please stay a minute after classâ And the usual jeerings commence as they all quickly scatter off to the next class. After ensuring that no one was left except the both of them, she kindly requests him to be seated .
âLook, Iâm sorry.â
âFor what? Immediately assuming Iâd have used the money for drug related reasons? Yeah, that's very easy to forgive.â He says as he slouches back on the chair. Y/n notices his slightly wounded hand, reddened and slightly swollen on the affected area.
âWhat happened to your hand?âÂ
âI was grilling some sausages and I burned myself on the grill.âÂ
âIâm sorry. But it looks like an infection might occur if a bandage isn't placed. Here , I think I have one.â She says as she rummages through her backpack filled with oddities like gum wrapper, an inkless biro pen and some newspaper wrapping and after some more shuffling comes across the only piece of elastoplast that is left.
âIts fine.âEmmanuel insists despite Y/n already unwrapping the bandage,
âHere, let me.â She insists and slowly takes his hand.
âThank you , it was quite itchy.â He bashfully says after his hand is returned.
âNo problem. I just wanted to help out, and I came up with a solution for our little issue. As long as you tell me where the money goes, you donât have to show me any other proof other than your bank statement or even a small business then I will be allowed to give you the promised amount.â She calmly says
He slightly scrunches his face and after mulling it over looks over at her and says.
âAre you busy?â
âNo, Iâm done for the day , why?â
âIâll show you. Nothing beats tangible.â
And before she knows it they are already walking up the hill of the favela. Despite it being late afternoon, the sun is still bright enough to make her slightly sweat and by the time they get to a dilapidated shanti just at the beginning of his populated neighbourhood, Y/n is not only heavy breathing but also extremely thirsty,
Emmanuel pays little mind to her and instead walks into the shanti and opens up the windows. As she looks up she notices its transformation. Its rustic metallic sheets that hold faints of its old silver colour hold indoors a grill that sits half of the space. Emmanuel places plastic discoloured stools and a small wooden banner that simply reads âabrirâ is placed on the door.
âIs this how you earn money?âShe says as she sits on one of the stools as he begins preparing the ingredients for Cachorro Quente. He skillfully cuts up the onions and tomatoes and tells Y/n
âPrepare the sauce.â
âWasnât I supposed to be a guest?â
âIf you want me to forgive you, prepare the sauce.â
And Y/n is directed to the jerrican to wash her hands. She is properly directed as he starts the fire with a combination of wood, charcoal and some leftover plastic and old newspaper before fanning it out.
He tests out the now hot grill with a slight pat on his palm and seemingly satisfied with the heat, places the marinated sausages on the grill. The aroma is absolutely mouthwatering and Y/n cannot help but consistently gaze on them which Emmanuel slightly laughs at.
Soon, people start flocking to the area, from young kids trying to bargain their way out of paying the full price to the regulars who take an immediate notice of the newcomer and question her presence. And after entertaining small talk they leave not without saying an English phrase in acknowledgement to her. One of them even says âGood evening babyâ to which she simply chuckles at.
When the sausage stock is done, he shooes away the crowd and takes his jerrican to begin washing the dishes.
âSo, this is what you do every evening after school?âShe asks
âYep, it's the only way I can eat.â
âAnd your parents, what do they do?â
âDonât know, I last saw them when I was 3.â He nonchalantly says whilst scrubbing the grill hard.
âOh Iâm sorry.â
âIt's fine. But anyway you see why I need the extra income right? Money is always tight and as much as I can feed and shelter myself, it's always a game of fate.âHe looks down at her as he stands upright.
âI'll give you a bit more than I promised.â
âThank you, and here, for you and your teacher friend.â He says whilst quickly handing her two hotdogs that he had placed on the side.
âThank you but you should keep it, Iâll be fine.â
âNo, you helped me out, I appreciate it.â He says while scratching the back of his head whilst looking away
âWell thank you once again. Its getting late and I think Patience is waiting for me. I should go.âShe says as she picks up her rucksack.
âOh, okay, goodnight.â
âGoodnight!â
As the bloody sky transitions to its blinding darkness as she walks down the steep hills, she notices the splendour of the city beneath her, with its illuminating artificial lights and its stunning starlights.

âGood afternoon Ms Y/n, You seem to be in a jovial mood today.â Ramirez notices as he decides to walk into a softly humming Y/n who is momentarily distracted from her notes.
âI took your advice on how to handle my student and it's been working out great. Not only was he willing to show me a side of his life that I would have never been aware of but because of him, the classes are livelier.â She says with a smile.
âThatâs great to hear, Iâm glad I was of help.â
âWould you like to see my students? They may seem unruly but they are honestly what are making me enjoy my work.â She says as she excitedly pulls out her phone in enjoyment. Ramirez nods and walks over to her and she can immediately smell the dior sauvage on him. Slightly shaking her head in an attempt to diffuse how she enjoys his cologne , she shows the picture and immediately regrets it as he leans in even more to properly see them
âThey seem like good kids.â He slightly whispers , very close to her ear and she braces her phone even tighter to expel the tingling zap that just coursed through her.
âThey are,â She says and immediately locks her phone.
He leans back and goes back to his former position and after a slightly awkward silence where Y/n decides on simply going back to her books he says , unnaturally hoarse.
âWould you mind repaying the favour with a request of mine?â
âSure, what is?âÂ
âMy momâs retirement party is coming up and Iâd like to give her something that is very special. Can you help me get a gift for her?â
âWell, Iâm not the most knowledgeable in gift giving but sure, I can help out.â
âHow about today, after class?â
âIâm free between 4 and 7 so okay!â She says with a smile and they pause the conversation as the other students begin coming in.
Throughout the lesson Ramirez gives subtle glances at Y/n to the point that she has to look away or completely ignore them after the 10th closed lipped smile. Though more than uncomfortable, she felt confused, and questioned his behaviour. After class and a flirty âbyeâ from Britney they are once again alone.
âY/n should we leave?â He asks
âYepâ She responds while rising up , carefully perusing the area for anything she might have forgotten
They soon walk into his car and for the second time Y/n is amazed with the interior of his Aston Martin with its white leather seats and its scent which engulfs her the moment she sits in the car.
âSeatbelt on?âHe questions as he reverses.
âYes, you drive like you're cast in fast and furious.â
âActually the franchise encouraged me to get a sports car.â
âNo surprise there.â She says and they both laugh. They soon step out of the car into the parking lot of one of the most luxurious malls in the area. Y/n slightly gasps at the golden carvings that are sculpted at the grecian pillars surrounding the building and says,
âI didnât even know this place existed.â
âIt's owned by the country club nearby, members only.â He shrugs as they walk to the building. The receptionist welcomes them in and after he removes his membership card , they are allowed to walk in and y/n basks in the complete opulence of the entire vicinity.
âIâm sure anything you get her from here would be pleasing to her.â
âAs much as I do love my mother, she's as easy to please as a cat. Iâve been blundering over her birthday gift for three years.â He says as they window shop throughout the first floor. Y/n nods at this and takes up the challenge. Looking over the watches and the very expensive designer bags, nothing really clicks and after taking the second floor she is still unamused .
âWho knew luxury could be so..boring?â She says as she finishes scouring the second floor, feet aching over the rounds.
âI feel you. I think youâre tired. Would you like some dinner? It's the least I can do after all the walking Iâve forced you to endure.â
Y/n smiles though she feels too queasy to say yes. To her a coffee date is very friendly, Dinner is a tad too romantic.Â
âUm, I donât think..â
âPlease, it shouldnât mean anything more, just dinner.âHe insists, leading them to the rooftop where the bar is illuminated by the clear glass roof windows right in the middle of the circular restaurant littered with shades of grey green and mustard yellow.
âWow , this is stunningâ She says
âSo is that a yes?â
âWell, how can I say no after seeing this?â She responds whilst taking a picture of the whole establishment. They are led to a sitting right at the corner, though close enough to see the mixologist swivel and shake his way into beautiful looking cocktails and mocktails.
Y/n is redirected to looking into her menu and says,
âI canât understand.â
âConsider it an impromptu quiz. What words do you recognise?âÂ
And after a few stutterings and looking into the words, she recognises a few ingredients that she assumes are not as bad and decides on taking that. Ramirez orders something completely unknown to her and says
âI think youâd like it , it has an unfamiliar taste but sits well after a few mouthfuls,â
She nods at that and a comfortable silence takes over. The murmurings of the restaurant are carried over by the soft jazzy instrumentals the live band plays and after Y/n informing Abdul and Patience that she might be later than expected she switches off her phone to notice Ramirez simply staring at her.
âWhatâs with that look?â She chuckles uncomfortably while fiddling with the napkin.
âNothing. You know my mom would be really happy if I brought someone home instead?â He says as he looks keenly at her.
âIâm not the best matchmaker but I know a lot of good friends.â She says while looking away. He refuses to dignify her response, instead only giving a smile that showcases his âfatherâs smileâ that fits him very well.
Soon the food arrives and before Y/n can bite into the mouth watering delight on her plate, he motions for her to take a bite of his dish, a forkful of food hanging between them. She attempts to grab the fork but he instead refuses to hand authority and once more gestures for her to take a bite. She slowly comes closer to the fork and bites the food and afterwards quickly sits straighter, hand obscuring the chewing of her mouth and Ramirez says with a tinge of amusement coating his tone
âIt's good, right?â And she nods in agreement but looks away.
He then attempts at feeding her again which this time she refuses completely, joking instead at how herâs is better.
Soon a call rings out from Y/nâs purse and after silently thanking God for removing her from that awkward situation , excuses herself to answer the call in the womenâs restroom.
âHiâ She says excitedly once she notices the caller.
âHi baby how are you?â Jotaro responds .
âIâm doing fine and you? How are you coping? Are you still coming over?âShe questions in quick succession, not even a breath to be caught.
âDeep breaths honey. I think Iâm doing better, maybe it was just a case of the blues. And Iâm no longer coming.I got caught up with something so spectacular you wouldnât even believe it.â He responds excitedly. She furrows her brows.
âNot coming? But , I miss you? I thought you were still buying the ticket?âÂ
âIâm sorry, Iâll make time, I promise. So what about you? How has your day been?â And Y/n goes on about the current situation sheâs in and says,
âHe has made it a bit awkward by feeding me a piece of his meal but aside from that weâve âŚâ
âExcuse me , what? Feeding you what?â Jotaro says in shock and a hint of irritation.
âDonât worry I politely refused the next time he tried it.â
âYou should have refused from the beginning. Anyway, I have to head back, Iâll tell you about my expeditions soon and also, get home soon and safely okay?I Love you.âhe says as backdrops of conversations keep happening.
âI love you too. Weâll talk later.â She says and cuts the call. She washes her hands and after a quick checkup on her makeup and face heads back to their seat.
At this point heâs done with the food and says
âYou took quite a while, I instructed the waiter to heat it up for you and ordered dessert and some drinks in the meantime. I hope you donât mind.â He says offhandedly.
She smiles and says,
âOh I was chatting with my boyfriend. He insists I share every second of my day with him.â She says and graciously takes her reheated food.
âIs it a long distance relationship you two share?â He questions.
âYep, heâs touring the coastal straits of Africa for a year. Heâs a marine biologist.â She says proudly as she washes off her food with a glass of sweet mango juice.
âInteresting. And why didnât you follow him?â
âI have a life of my own and he recognises thatâ She says with a strained smile.
âMe personally , I wouldnât have let you go so easily, in spite of the job.â He says in a slightly nonchalant tone that threatens to set her off.
She bites her tongue instead and refuses to say nothing . The bartender approaches and says
âTwo cocktails for the couple?â
âNo weâre notâŚ.â
âYes please, thank you.â Ramirez talks over her as the bartender sets down the drinks . As he is about to walk away, Y/n says
âIâm sorry, but could you switch this for a mocktail? I don't drink alcohol as frequently.â She says with a smile and before the bartender takes it away Ramirez says
âNot even a little?âhalting the bartenderâs footsteps.
âNo, I appreciate the gesture but Iâm simply not a fan.â She responds and he walks away with her drink right as the dessert , a brownie with butterscotch ice cream comes by.
She takes a bite and is absolutely amazed with the fudginess of the brownie.
âWow, this is the best brownie Iâve ever had.â
âIâm glad you enjoyed it.â He says as he takes a spoonful of his apple pie.
âI think I should be headed home soon. My friends have begun anxiously texting about my whereabouts.âShe says as she finishes the absolute delight that is her second mocktail.
They begin small discussions about Y/nâs workplace and tensions slowly dissuade.By the time heâs winding down an anecdote Y/n is squealing in absolute joy.
âOh what a shame, I really enjoyed this even though we literally got nothing we planned done.â He says as he flags down the waiter for the bill and she snorts at his comment . After paying and generously tipping the waiter, they head out and he insists on dropping her home which is surprisingly not far from the area.
They soon arrive and Y/n unbuckles her seatbelt.
âThank you for dinner and the drinks. It was lovely.â
âIâd love to do it again.â He says slowly, inching up on her face. She smiles and attempts to walk out of the car and notices
âIt's locked.â
âIâll only open if you promise we can hang out again soon.âHe says with a mischievous twinkle on his eye though this makes y/n a bit unsettled
âI donât think teachers usually ask their students out.â She says.
âThen Iâll quit. Besides, itâs not like we are doing anything wrong.â He says leaning in once more, to the point that she can even smell a whiff of the Amarula he had been nursing the entire night.
âWeâll seeâ She says and opens the car door after the click id heard. She waves bye and after ensuring he has taken the first corner off her street, rushes to the gate next to where he dropped her.
She quickly greets the receptionist and takes the elevator to their floor.
She is greeted with Patience and Abdul slouching on the couch, Barbie, life in the dreamhouse playing in the background.
âHeyâ
âWhere have you been?â Patience says as they switch off the TV.
âDo I have a story to tell you two?!â She says and Abdul sits straighter immediately after the phrase is said.
I want to start uploading regularly again especially since Iâm almost done with the fic. Like Crusader Sundays. Trigger warning to those affected by the fall of Constantinople

What if the villain's of jojo had a Christmas song karaoke battle to get attention from their darling? Thank you!
âChristmas Karaokeâ JJBA villains x gender-neutral reader (fluff, headcannons)
Thank you so much for your suggestion, itâs such a fun idea!! I hope you like the result:3 Enjoy the upcoming Christmas days and stay safe! <3
Summary: Itâs Christmas and darling decides to have a karaoke night with the JoJo villains (Part 1 to 5). Unbeknownst to you, they are desperately fighting for your attention through their performances.
TW: no real trigger warning, just some slight yandere behaviour.
I do not condone any yandere behaviour in real life.

Dio (Part 1)
Dio from Phantom Blood is annoyed by the idea of singing in front of other people.
He eyes the other competitors deprecatingly, scrunching his nose in disgust.
But then his gaze falls on your form, watching at everyone with big eyes.
Why are you looking at any other person than him?
He canât stand the thought that anyone else than him has your precious attention.
So the Brit pulls himself together and walks confidently to the karaoke machine.
Dio chooses a classic such as Jingle Bell Rock or Rocking around the Christmas Tree
The blond hopes to attract your gaze, staring at him lovingly and gifting him one of your dazzling smiles.
After his performance (which was mediocre at best, but he tries to tell himself that it was spectacular), you do approach Dio with a grin on your face and offer him a high-five for having been outside his comfort zone.
Dio has wished for a much more intimate touch (such as a peck on the cheek or a hug), but for now, he is appreciating your sweet and supportive gesture.
âPff, Iâm only singing since none of you can do it properly, naturally.â
âDio, that was awesome! Iâm so proud of you!â âThank you Y/N, I couldnât let any of these morons hurt your ears with their yelling.â
Dio (Part 3)
Now, Dio from Stardust Crusaders on the other hand is the star of the night.
He craves and loves all of the attention, but especially yours.
The vampire has no qualms to show off and smash more than one song.
After all, he has to show everyone that heâs superior and thatâs why you will choose him.
The blond bellows Last Christmas (câmon, he already looks like George Michael, he was born for this!) with all his being while doing a whole choreography.
His eyes keep searching yours, wanting all of your attention.
Your adorable cheers and little dancing only reinforce Dio as he goes all out.
After performing, he confidently walks to you.
He easily swoops your smaller form up and gives you a passionate kiss.
Afterwards, he grins at your surprised and flushed expression.
âMove out of the way! Now comes the real star of the show.â âDio, you canât just kiss me out of the blue in front of everyone!â âAnd why not? Donât you think I deserve a little reward after my performance?â
Kars
Kars doesnât sing. Like, at all. And when the other competitors taunt him for that, he simply threatens them.
He refuses to lower himself to these inferior creatures and their pathetic habits.
Instead, he looks at you: your beaming face and innocent happiness move the pillarman
He had never thought that he would catch feelings for a human, but here he is, bathing in your expression and wanting to gain your attention.
To him, you are perfect: something he has been striving for years.
Thatâs why he is engaging in this whole scenario which just seems ridiculous to him.
Even though Kars doesnât sing, he still finds a way to grab your attention: the pillarman decides to sit next to you and ask you all about the human traditions of Christmas.
Now he couldnât care less about human holidays, but hearing your eager words (which are better than any music could ever be) makes Kars all warm inside.
Finally, his perfect darling gives him all the attention he wants and needs (after all, he is a god).
âI donât sing. If you ask me again, Iâll eat you.â âSo, you humans kiss each other when you are standing under a mistletoe? What a foolish tradition. If I want to kiss you, I donât need a plant over me, you can be sure of that.â
Yoshikage Kira
Karaoke night is for Kira absolutely horrible.
The man hates to stand out, no matter if itâs in a positive or negative way.
How is he supposed to sing in front of everyone? All eyes would be on him, disturbing his peaceâŚ
Though he does want the attention of one particular person.
Of course, heâs attracted to your hands (it was the first he noticed when he saw you), but Kira isnât only fascinated by them: he loves your warm charisma and the way you are always there for him and listening, no matter how boring his day was.
Reminding himself about your adorable behaviour, he decides to sing, just for you.
His performance is quite shy and restrained, not wanting to stand out too much, which is why he chooses a laid-back Christmas song such as Driving Home for Christmas or Wonderful Christmas time.
But you still cheer him on, a smile plastered on your face, which makes Kira blush a bit (which he would never admit).
After his performance, the man goes to you, his face remaining stoic.
You look at him with astonishment, not believing that the Kira just performed!
As a reward, you hug him and give him words of encouragement.
Kira enjoys your attention and slightly leans into your touch, but not enough so that his apathetic façade would crumble.
âGuess I really have to sing in front of these peopleâŚâ
âWow Kira, Iâd never expected you to perform!â âWell, even I am spontaneous from time to time.â
 Diavolo
Diavolo prefers to stay inside with no one around him (you being the only exception of course).
So being surrounded by all these people isnât ideal to him, especially when he has to sing in front of them.
But luckily, the Italian exudes confidence out of every fibre of his body.
The man canât stand that so many pair of eyes are competing for your attention. He should be the only one to lay his eyes on your form.
Which is why Diavolo takes a bold music choice such as Mistress Christmas: he wants to stand out, so that all of your attention and affection will be on him.
His performance is quite energetic and he has a pleasant voice, which you wouldnât have guessed.
Your gaze is filled with admiration, making Diavolo smirking internally.
After the song you immediately go to him and compliment his talent.
Diavolo enjoys your reaction thoroughly, thinking he has finally showed everyone you like his company the most.
He gets a bit cocky as he claps your hands while talking to you.
âDiavolo, I never knew you were this talented! You should sing more often.â âI can always sing to you, just maybe in a more private settingâŚâ
âHuh? Why are you grabbing my hands?â âIsnât it obvious?â
Bonus: Doppio
This sweetheart is so incredibly nervous!
Not only is he scared to do karaoke, but he has to do it in front of you!
The freckled man constantly blushes and is overtaking by his nervousness.
You flash him a reassuring grin across the room, which gives Doppio enough strength to overcome his fear.
No one has treated him with such innocent kindness as you had.
Doppio picks a sweet song such as Let it snow or Holly Jolly Christmas, wanting to pay you back with your kind nature.
During the performance, he constantly stutters and mixes up the words.
Eventually, he leaves the stage with his face being as red as a tomato.
You didnât mind his rather poor performance, as you keep telling him that he did a fantastic job.
Doppio is overwhelmed by your kind-hearted words and blushes even more.
You like his adorable expression and decide to give the man a peck on the cheek.
The Italian is over the moon by your touch, eyes beaming with glee (and not noticing the dark stares of the other competitors which are comparable to daggers).
âCalm down Doppio! You can do this, the boss gave you permission, you can impress Y/N!â
âDoppio, you are so cute!â âY-You really think so?â
Now, after everyone has sung at least one song (except for Kars who still thinks karaoke is stupid), you are left with the decision to crown one winner. Nervously, you bite on your lip. How could you choose one? You genuinely enjoyed everyoneâs performance. You donât want to hurt the others feelings by saying one was better than the rest⌠You stand there thinking, all of the men staring at you expectantly. Some of them have already provoked tensions (notably Dio) by saying, they are obviously the best and therefore deserve your praise and attention alone. No matter how you decide, there will be a fight afterwardsâŚ

Wanted{modern!j.g. x reader}
A/N: ahh i love me some JoJo
Masterlist
Song: Wanted by Hunter Hayes
Requested: no
Warnings: none
Word Count: 784
You know I'd fall apart without you
I don't know how you do what you do
'Cause everything that don't make sense about me
Makes sense when I'm with you
Like everything that's green, girl, I need you
But it's more than one and one makes two
Put aside the math and the logic of it
You gotta know you're wanted too
JoJo didnât know what heâd do without you. From the beginning of your relationship, he found himself being a better man. Without you, he knew heâd fall apart. Become worse. You, of course, didnât believe that was possible, because of that great man he had always been. He knew that as long as you were with him, things made sense. He didnât know how to explain all the logistics of how much he loved you.
Youâd been together since your senior year of high school. Two years later, at age twenty, JoJo knew that out of all the girls in the world...he wanted to be with you.
'Cause I wanna wrap you up
Wanna kiss your lips
I wanna make you feel wanted
And I wanna call you mine
Wanna hold your hand forever
And never let you forget it
Yeah, I wanna make you feel wanted
He loved wrapping his arms around you, holding you close to him, kissing your soft lips.
He always wanted to make sure that you knew how loved you were and how wanted you were.
He loved holding your hand in his, walking around in public and spinning you around, making you laugh.
He wanted to do this forever...and there was only one way to seal the deal to forever.
Anyone can tell you you're pretty, yeah
And you get that all the time, I know you do
But your beauty's deeper than the make-up
And I wanna show you what I see tonightâŚ
He loved seeing you in the morning, how beautiful you were. So many people told you how pretty you were, but you mostly believed it from JoJo, because he told you you looked beautiful at your worst moments-waking up after a long sleepless night, crying during a sad movie, you laughing loudly.
He wanted to prove to you how loved you were by him, so he went into the ring store and found the perfect ring, one he knew you wanted already.
As good as you make me feel
I wanna make you feel better
Better than your fairy tales
Better than your best dreams
You're more than everything I need
You're all I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
He cleaned up the entire apartment, asked Race and Albert to help with the proposal and they set up the entire thing. You arrived after a long day at work to see Race and Albert with their guitars, strumming a simple tune. They followed you up to the apartment and you opened the door to see rose petals on the floor and some fake candles. JoJo stood in the center of it all, dressed nicely, smiling his adorable smile. You ran up to him and gave him a quick kiss.
âWhat are those two doing here?â you asked silently.
âYouâll see.â
And I just wanna wrap you up
Wanna kiss your lips
I wanna make you feel wanted
And I wanna call you mine
Wanna hold your hand forever
And never let you forget it
Yeah, I wanna make you feel wanted
Baby, I wanna make you feel wanted
JoJo took your hands in his.
â(Y/N) (M/N) (L/N)...I love you more than anything else in this world. You are the most perfect person for me and to me. You...I canât even describe it. I always want you to know...how loved and wanted you are. I love holding you and kissing you...and holding your hand. I just love everything about you,â he moved down to one knee. âSo, (Y/N)...(M/N)...(L/N)...â
You felt tears rush to your eyes...the happy tears, like when something good is going to happen.
âWill you make me the happiest man alive, and marry me,â
He let go of one of your hands and pulled the ring swiftly, propping open the box. Your hand that was free fled to your mouth, gasping.
âJoJo DeLaGuerraâŚ.I love you so so much. Yes.â
JoJo jumped up and pulled you in closer, giving you a sweet kiss. Race and Albert stopped playing their guitars and ran up to give you both a hug. After the hug, JoJo put the ring on your finger and pulled you in for a hug.
âYou'll always be wanted,â he whispered into your ear.Â

44&61 with JojoxReader?
44. âWho hurt you?â
61. âCan I hug youâŚ?â
The boy found you crying in the back of the church.
He came over to you, sitting in the pew in front of you.
You must not have been as quiet as you thought.
âHey, whatâs wrong? Who hurt you?â
âHow do you know it was someone else?â
The boy shrugs as he looks around. âItâs the way youâre crying, I guess. It just sounds like it.â
So you tell him about how your crush of three months had dumped you in the most humiliating way in public.
And that the church was the closest place that wouldnât judge you for crying.
âCan I hug you? You look like you could use it.â
You fall into the boyâs arms, sniffling quietly.
He introduces himself as JoJo and offers his number.
âIn case you need to talk again, Y/N.â

JojoXReader where Jojoâs selling his papes and some rich/snotty teens start bullying him/push him and his papes down when reader sees and goes to help him
âHey, whatâs your problem?â you yelled, your loud voice coming in handy.
âExcuse me?â one of the rich teens said, nose turning up at you.Â
âListen, just because you have everything handed to you on a silver platter doesnât mean the rest of us do,â you snapped, helping JoJo up. You took the paper away from him and handed the boy back his coin. âWe donât need your daddyâs money, thereâs other people we can sell the damn pape to.â As you led JoJo away from the gaping rich kids, you said, âIâll pay you back, JoJo.â
âOh, itâs okay,â he said.Â
âNo, really.â You dug in your coin pouch and pulled out a coin. âHere. I can go a bit short today. Itâs no big deal.â

are you planning on continuing the jojoxreader vacation fic?? also i just love your writing in general đđ
hi anon!!( this is going to be long because iâve been wanting to make this post for a while now) iâve actually been thinking about this a lot. i really enjoyed that fic and was THE proudest work i had, fanfiction wise. after the whole account screwup i sort of lost my will to write it again, seeing how much time and effort i spent making the original. but, with that, iâve begun to really want to finish it. so yes, itâs a very high possibility!! it wouldnât be anytime soon due to my school work as we begin the semester, but i have a very flexible school schedule so possibly before thanksgiving i could have the whole series out, which is 5 - 7 parts i believe? if thatâs what the popular vote is. thank you so much for loving my writing!! it means a lot đ

Happy Hanukkah! Imagine a rom-com situation with any jojo family getting the in-laws upset at a dinner? Please. Hijinks anon please.
Rom-com holiday dinner with the different JoJos (part 1 to 6) fluff x gender-neutral reader
Happy Hanukkah to you and your loved ones! I hope you enjoy the last remaining days of the holiday <3 I love this suggestion, itâs so cute! I did some headcannons with how the different Jojos and the family of their S/O would behave during dinner. And, since I based the family a bit on my own, expect a loooot of family members (many cousins, siblings, aunts and uncles) :D Have fun reading!
No TW this time!
All the minor characters are aged up (no minor content on my blog!).

 Jonathan Joestar
Usually, he doesnât make your family upset since heâs such a gentleman. Your family loves him practically more than you!
The Brit always wraps them around his finger with his manners and charisma.
But, during the holiday dinner, even the soft Jonathan made the mistake of being too calm.
Your extended family, such as your aunts and cousins, are a whirlwind and he simply canât keep up with them!
They are questioning him about the most private details in your marriage, which makes Jonathan blush. You try to intervene, but you are easily overthrown but your numerous family members.
Your aunt keeps shouting about how boring he is and that he should loosen up a bit.
Jonathan doesnât take the comment personally as he knows that this is just how your family shows their love.
Eventually, your family manages to get the Brit drunk on red wine (he is way too polite to decline their constant refills) and he starts smashing some cheesy karaoke songs with your equally intoxicated aunt and uncle.
You wish to be swallowed by the earth, so big was your embarrassment. But your heart blooms at the sight of your husband, knowing how he is an essential part to your family now.
âOh really, I shouldnât drink furtherâŚâ âCome on, donât be a killjoy!â âOkay, only one more glass...â
âLook darling, I can totally hit that high note!â (He does not hit it)
Joseph Joestar
Contrary to his grandfather, Joseph is anything but tactful.
He does have the same charming effect as Jonathan though.
Joseph manages to get in fights with your family quite often: his big mouth and sometimes rude manner arenât always appreciated by them. But he easily manages to smoothen the tensions with his bedazzling grin and oh so charming words.
For the holiday dinner, Joseph has promised you to not incite a fight.
But the promise gets broken, of course.
Your little cousin constantly bickers with him, telling him his scarf looks stupid or making fun about the time he dressed as a woman.
The Brit only has so much patience: so he tells your cousin to get lost.
The boy doesnât take this too well and runs to your aunt to squeal about the incident.
Your aunt gets angry and confronts Joseph.
You glare at your husband, reminding him about his promise.
He sheepishly rubs his neck and flashes you an apologetic smile.
But in the end, Joseph and your cousin reconcile through arm wrestling.
Joseph lets your cousin win, of course.
You shake your head with a grin sprawled on your face and press a kiss on your husbandâs cheek.
âSorry babe, I guess I lost my cool there, huh?â
âOh man, I lost!â âDonât worry, youâre still my champion.â
Jotaro Kujo
Your family has a hard time warming up with Jotaro.
The stoic man doesnât let someone in easily and isnât looking for social contact.
So itâs nearly a miracle that he agreed to come with you to the holiday dinner with your family. You know that he did it for you, since he knows how much your family means to you.
Your husband is silent during the whole dinner and only says the bare minimum when being asked something by one of your family members.
You are aware of Jotaroâs introverted and unbothered nature, but you wish that at least heâd try to be a bit more friendly.
Your family thinks the same as they constantly try to spark some conversation between your spouse and them, which is very difficult, to say the least.
Eventually, Jotaro gives in and engages in your familyâs conversation.
Your mother asks a bunch of questions: how is his job as a marine biologist going, if he enjoys the food, when you two will finally get children (they can be adopted or biological)
You nearly choke on your water because of your motherâs personal question.
You stared at Jotaro big-eyed, not knowing how heâd react.
The man clenches his fist, as he does not appreciate these kind of questions, but takes a deep breath. Soon enough, he has calmed himself down.
You quickly change the topic, not wanting that the situation escalates.
To your surprise, the rest of the evening is going rather smoothly.
After you two have said goodbye to your family, he even gives you a necklace as a present.
âThe food is delicious, Mrs L/N. As for the children, weâll have to see what the future holds.â
âThis is for you, Y/N.â âBut I thought we wouldnât get gifts! I donât have anything for youâŚâ âItâs fine. I gave it to you, because I love you and I donât expect anything in return. Now letâs get home, before Iâll say some more cheesy stuff.â
Josuke Higashikata
Similar to Jonathan, Josuke is quite popular in your family.
He is a sweetheart and a goofball, which is greatly appreciated by them.
Every time your little cousins are down for a prank, Â heâll gladly participate.
This time, during the holiday dinner, it isnât different.
The kids and the man have decided that it would be a good idea to put some chili powder in your uncleâs (who canât handle any spice at all) mashed potatoes.
They laugh mischievously as they see how your poor uncle turns red like a tomato and tears are rolling down his cheeks.
Your aunt glares at them, especially at Josuke, and says how a grown man could do this kind of childish nonsense.
Your husbandâs eyes widen at the comment: he just wanted to have some fun with your cousinsâŚ
Knowing Josuke, you notice his puppy-like sadness. You are aware that for him, your family is his too and that he just wants to make them happy.
You go to your spouse and reassure him with a shoulder pat and a quick peck on the cheek.
His face quickly lightens up at your touch, which makes you laugh.
Your sister consoles him as well as she offers him her piece of cake, which he gladly accepts.
Again, you grin at his innocent joy as he swoons over the extra dessert.
âWeâve really got him kids, now didnât we?
âThis cake is just so delicious and sweet! But nothing can beat your sweetness, Y/N.â
Giorno Giovanna
Your family isnât entirely convinced by the Italian man yet: they definitely appreciate his calm, polite and confident demeanour, but it also makes him appear distant.
Giorno and your family never get involved in fights, since his self-control is bigger than his ego, but there seems to be some tension between them
For this holiday season, you are determined to break the ice and to show your family the warm and fuzzy side of your husband.
During dinner, you keep talking about all the goofy aspects of Giorno he only shows to you In private, hoping it will make your family grow more fond of him.
Giorno is quite flustered by your stories, a pretty blush forming on his cheeks.
Your family does like this side of your spouse and laughs about your tales of him imitating a slimy Casanova in an Italian rom-com with a thick Italian accent.
Meanwhile, Giornoâs face grows redder and redder: he isnât used to not being in control of the situation and feels embarrassed.
But on the other hand, he loves how your family reacts to the stories and feels, as if they might finally be able to bond.
Eventually, Giorno, you and your siblings are laughing and joking around while playing a game of cards and drinking wine.
âPlease donât say that, you embarrass me in front of everyone!â âAw come on, look, they love it!â
âAmore mio, I finally feel like your family and I get along better. You know how much that means to me.â
Jolyne Kujo
The family gatherings are always explosive when this troublemaker is with you.
You know that Jolyne is all bark and no bite when it comes to your family (she would never hurt anyone you love), but you still wish that she would be acting less tough, as you are fully aware of her actual soft core.
Your wife knows that you just want her to get along with your family, but itâs just too hard for her sometimes: growing up without her father and with no strong family bond, she isnât sure how to act around them.
It doesnât help that your family keeps thinking of her as a delinquent because of her past.
This holiday, itâs no exception: within the first thirty minutes, your spouse and your family already have started to fight over the most stupid things: why you canât consider cereals a soup, if there was first the egg or the chicken, why you canât say that a giraffe is just a mix between a diplodocus, a leopard and a horse (yes, Jolyne could be really creative when she wants to)âŚ
They really are just looking for reasons to piss each other off.
You, on the other hand, just want to get the people you love the most get along.
So you slam your fist on the table.
When all eyes are on you, you shouted that everyone should stop with this childish behaviour, tears building in your eyes.
Jolyne is shocked by your reaction: after all, she has never intended to hurt her spouse and make you cryâŚ
Your family was equally baffled at your statement.
And for once, Jolyne and your family put their differences aside and finally engage in a normal and civilised, almost friendly conversation.
âI know you love them, but they just make my blood boil sometimes!â âCanât you just try? Please, do it for meâŚâ
âIâm sorry honey, I never wanted to hurt you⌠from now on, Iâll try my best to get along with them.

I Donât Even Know Your Name{j.g. x reader}
A/N: omg my bean JoJo, i love him and i need more JoJo in my life
Masterlist
Song: I Donât Even Know Your Name by Shawn Mendes
Requested: no
Warnings: none
Word Count: 733
Hawking papes wasnât exactly JoJoâs perfect idea of a Saturday. But it made him money and got him food. Even got him a family.
The summers were the worst. Hot and muggy, and he barely made any money.
But for some reason this particular Saturday morning, smack dab in the middle of July, was booming with business.
It must have been the headline-a terrifying terminal illness was going around, and it was going to take anybody and everybody in New York. The suckers ate it up. He was getting customer after customer, and a crowd was forming around him.
Oh, you waited so long
Sometimes it's hard to stand out
And you don't have to do anything else
But be yourself
Oh, whoa, oh
You, you dressed up so nice
But all I could see was your eyes
And the crowd came and pulled you away
And then you were gone
Oh, whoa, yeah
JoJo knew that girls payed attention to him while he was working. It was a perk of the job. But this girl...she was different. Gorgeous (Y/E/C) eyes, hair pulled back, but some fly-aways, framing her face. She was dressed up nicely. She payed a dime-a whole dime for a pape. And then she disappeared back into the crowd.
Was she even real? JoJo asked himself.
And I don't even know your name
All I remember is that smile on your face
And it'll kill me everyday
'Cause I don't even know your name
âI have to find âer!â JoJo exclaimed to Race.
âWho?â
âI donât knowâŚ.but she was beautiful. Dressed up all fancy. Racer, youâse got to help me find âer!â
âHow can I if we donât even know âer name?â
âI know âer face. âEr smile, âer eyes. I kinda got lost in âem Racer! They were so beautiful! Oh Racer, please help me?â
Race took pity on the love-sick JoJo, and agreed to help him find this mysterious girl.
âShe was dressed up real nice. Maybe Katherine knows âer! Katherine is pretty high-and-mighty in the social class. And even if she doesnât know âer, âer fadder might.â
Oh, everywhere that I go
I see your face, and it kills me to know
That you'll never know what you did to me
And now you're gone
Yeah, I can't stop thinking 'bout you
The search started the next day.
Race and JoJo took the pape selling farther than they have gone, but still in Manhatten.
JoJo saw her in his dreams the night before, and he just wanted to find her. He wanted to tell her about how smitten he was with her, even though he had only seen her once.
The night before, they asked Katherine to help, and thatâs what she was doing while they were selling papes.
âI keep seeinâ âer face, wherever I go. Sheâs always there Racer, somewhere in my mind.â
âYouâre going crazy JoJo.â
I'm running, I'm searching
And I don't know where to start
I'm dying, my love, you punched a hole right through my heart
And I won't stop, stop looking
'Til I hold you in my arms
'Cause I'm running, I'm running, I'm running
âI wonât stop lookinâ for âer. Not until I meet âer, and know âer name. Take âer on a date. Do you think sheâd go for me? What do those fancy rich girls like Katherine? Do they like the flowers and the dinnerâŚâcause Iâm not sure I can afford that.â
âJoJo, if she likes you, sheâll like anything you do for her.â
And I don't even know your name
All I remember is that smile on your face
And it'll kill me everyday
'Cause I don't even know your name.
A week passed. JoJo was quite distraught that he hadnât seen the girl at all, that nobody had.
âExcuse me, can I get a paper?â
JoJo looked up from his feet, and made eye contact with her. Those eyes.
âYou!â
âMe?â
âRacer, itâs her!â JoJo exclaimed. âHello miss, Iâm JoJo.â
He took her hand in his and pressed his lips to it, making sure to be a true gentleman. She laughed and her face flushed.
âIâm (Y/N).â
âListen, (Y/N). Itâs wonderful to meet you, âcause youâse been drivinâ me crazy since I saw you last. Would you like to go to dinner with me?â
âI would love that JoJo.â

-so JoJo goes and visits his grandmaâs grave every month
-one day he decides to take a different way to the cemetery
-he comes across this garden filled with some amazing flowers and heâs pretty sure that those flowers were his grandmaâs
-so he grabs just a couple very quickly and getâs out of there fast
-this sweet boy is not one for stealing, but he believes that his grandma would have loved them
-over the next four months, he continues to take one or two flowers on his way to his grandmaâs grave
-and during one of the days, you walk outside of your house and see the person who has been taking your flowers
-you walk down towards him and he immediately jumps back a bit scared and starts stuttering and trying to explain himself and apologizing
-you calmly ask him why heâs doing this, then answer your own question by assuming that theyâre for a pretty girl
-âWell I want to see this pretty girl. See if sheâs pretty enough to warrant flower theftâ
-the poor kid is so scared he doesnât know how to explain that itâs not for a pretty girl and that heâs now joining you in a trip to the cemetery
-on your way to the cemetery, the two of you get to talking
-you learn that heâs living in Manhatten, and heâs a newsie
-you tell him that youâre currently in a fancy private school that you really donât like
-he declares that thatâs the reason why you act very poised and talk fancily
-he also notes that youâre very pretty, but he doesnât bring it up to you
-when you reach the cemetery, youâre pretty confused on what exactly is going on
-until you get to his grandmaâs grave
-he puts one of the flowers that he took on the grave
- âWas she pretty?â was the only you could say
-âThe prettiestâ he responds with a little laugh
-the two of you stand at the grave in silence for a bit until Jojo turns towards you with the other flower in his hand
-âI hope you consider yourself pretty enough to warrant flower theftâ
-you blush a little bit and kiss his cheek and then he walks you back home
-that night, he tells all about you to all the boys and none of them really believe him
-until he drags them along to the cemetery the next month
