Hello.
Yes, indeed. I did changed my username. I am no longer sanojbros. I am now userjonasbrothers. believe me, having user in the name is more common than you think. New theme layout too, I wanted to use one that is completely different than the one that I already have for my main fangirl blog. Why a revamp when i'm hardly here on this blog? I don't know.
A special note is that I am not Kevin, Joe, or Nick. I am not associated with the Jonas Brothers or their management. I am simply a big Jonas Brothers fan that used this blog to fangirl sometimes. This is their real tumblr which has been inactive, The boys really need to fix that. Even though, I have a name that is similar to them. I am not them.
Thank you for your time.

feeling slumpish, so a first chapter test
The Room by Jonas Karlsson: Bored of his office job, Björn discovers a small private room at work, but his coworkers find his behavior off-putting.
The concept of this satire was initially intriguing, but after the first couple chapters, I'm not so sure. The chapters are quick, the prose is clear-cut and snappy, but the tone of the narrator puts me off a little. I presume it's a typical satire of the drone-like office worker, but I had assumed it would start with an already-miserable man. Instead, it appears this guy is staunchly supportive of Work Hard Upward Mobility Etc. (at a properly nameless and vague Company, no less) and idk if I have the bandwidth to follow that kind of character.
⭐️⭐️
Destroy All Monsters: My Dark Ages by Jeff Jackson: Across the country, musicians are being murdered mid-set by members of their audiences. A young woman becomes involved in planning a tribute concert for the victims of a shooting and befriends the only band willing to perform.
As it's written more to mirror an album, there aren't necessarily 'chapters' to break it down by. After the first few sections, I'm absolutely intrigued. Not so much by the story (no more than before I read it) but by the format (even more so after looking further into it). There's different typefaces and layouts for (presumably) different perspectives/voices and it's absolutely fascinating so far.
⭐️⭐️⭐️
Destroy All Monsters: Kill City by Jeff Jackson: Across the country, musicians are being murdered mid-set by members of their audiences. A singer's memorial service devolves into revelry.
Presumably these stories are meant to be read in either order, but after taking a glimpse at them both, I think I'll start with Side A. It seems to have more straightforward context (and is novel-length) while it seems Side B may be more of a (novella-length) commentary on Side A. Still the same cool formatting on both ends.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren: When her sister can't cash in on her honeymoon, Olive must team up with her nemesis (and her brother-in-law's best man) Ethan to pretend to be a couple and make use of the vacation.
I've not read a Christina Lauren before, so I figured I'd give them a shot. Nothing remarkable so far. Seems readable in a lighthearted romcom way, but not irresistably so.
⭐️⭐️
Freeman's Best New Writing On: California, ed. John Freeman: A collection of short form fiction about the realities of modern California from prominent authors of the region.
"Piece by piece, these writers reassert what is possible to see clearly when you press down on language with enough care and force." Damn okay. The introduction focused a lot on immigration, unsurprisingly, but in an engaging way. As any good introduction, it made me very interested in the pieces to come, but was a well-written piece itself.
