Riverdale Friendships/BROTPS and their aesthetics

Jopaz: Harmless gossip, laughing at jokes that aren't funny, sharing earphones, " I think you'd like this song", late night movie marathons, greedy fingers snatching food and treats, matching nail polish, big and little secrets, wars over films and books, taking secret photos, memory albums lovingly conserved in time, promise rings, bold honesty, bitter arguments, never-ending fondness, hugs that last for a minute more than they have to, gentle teasing, birds of a feather flock together

Swangs: " tough boys cry too", entire conversations spoken through one look, play fighting, eye rolling with a smile, pleasure in mischief, intimate trivia, bandages over a fresh wound, "borrowing " clothes, keys to eachother's places, never argue, comfort words exactly when needed, ' I'll only do it if he does it" solidarity, nicknames the other hates, tea and coffee, learned food orders, prideful support that lacks sweetness but not love, words of affirmation, " no, I'M the big brother "

Moosehead (Moose and Jughead): bombing excitement when they see the other, words of affirmation, " don't say that. You're great ". Childlike giggling over the phone, snack stashes, memorised locker combinations, casual affection, hugs over handshakes, grocery shopping as one pulls the cart and the other sits inside, holding hands while walking, sharing clothes, slumber parties that last all night, late calls crying and comforting listening, hands on waists and arms over shoulders, favorite snacks waiting for the other at their houses, parents addressed by their first names, talking until their throats run dry, insecurity bonding, " did you eat today?"

Swarchie: scoffing, biting back laughter because they refuse to laugh at each other's jokes, mean nicknames, unflattering photos as their contact icon, eachother's emergency contacts, soldier like solidarity, " of course you can come over, what the fuck?" competitive video game tournaments, brotherly hatred, " what the hell did you just say about him?" defensiveness when the other is insulted or berated, " I hate you" " hate you more" , "your closest enemy is your dearest friend " begrudging worry, a punch I the shoulder ringing as a hug

Jeronica: " I love you " , inside jokes, references only they get, matching outfits, burning but helpful honesty, smiling kisses on cheeks and noses, playful teasing, petty arguments that result in tearful hugs, sleeping in the same bed holding hands, cuddling everywhere, " you know you can tell me anything, right?" , taking pictures of objects or pretty things and sending them randomly, mutual damsel in distress for the other, ride or die with just mild complaining, " if I was a zombie I'd eat you last"

we've returned to our roots with our matching joni urls which reminds me of how we were robbed of their friendship so quickly and they never looked back 💔💔

iconic of us to be in our canon rvd url eras at the end of the series :/ but i know!!!!!! truly robbed of jopaz and what could have been !!!!! ill never forgive them bc they truly were the best besties. and then when jughead "died" and toni was talkin about their friendship in alice's video i was like oh am i about to be in my jopaz besties era again but no they were edging me 😒 this is so sick and twisted. i know betty, ronnie, jughead and archie are the true archie comics core four but chonijabitha were MY core four.

the ending was still sexy but it would have been sexier had i not lost tabitha and jabitha</3

Merry Christmas everybody :) I wrote a small gift fic for @greatkateweathermachine about Season 2 Jughead exploring his relationship with his gender expression/identity and his relationship with his friends as a result, particularly his relationship with Archie. Implied Jarchie. Mentioned Bighead and Jopaz.

i made the mistake of checking the comments on riverdales instagrams post about tabitha and so many people were saying that tabitha brings nothing to the show. i’m sorry, are we talking about the same tabitha tate? the one who saved riverdale twice, once on her own at the last minute? the tabitha tate who gave up everything with the one she had fallen in love with so that he could at least be happy in the new reality and went on to work out how she could save riverdale again by herself for however long it would take? what makes me so sad is that i know if tabitha had come to riverdale and had just helped jughead get back with betty and went on to date reggie everyone would love her and worship her. literally what happened with jopaz is just happening with tabitha and people don’t like her and find her a worthless character because she dated jughead and he’s happy with someone who helped heal him and get over someone who broke his heart. but whatever. let’s imagine a riverdale without tabitha. do you see it? yeah everyone’s dead and season 7 is the sweet hereafter. what a season to go out on without tabitha. percival also would have taken riverdale over so like. shut up.
