You seem to ship Bonkai AND Klonnie. I've noticed a lot of Kai stans don't like the Mikaelsons. What makes you like Klonnie? Or do you like all of Bonnie's ships? Klaus, Bonnie and Kai in the prison world would be a totally different vibe than Damon, Bonnie and Kai.

I like alot of bonnie ships except bonenzo bonkai and klonnie are my favorite a love triangle between both in the prison world together would have been hot actually I'm all for that vibe I see the potential with both ships here you have a powerful bennett witch and two really powerful male characters that either one made alot of sense with a storyline behind it for them to develop into a enemies to lovers dynamic if they wanted to the writers unfortunately refused to do more interesting ideas around bonnie so a exciting romance was out of question in their minds

Happy Blorbo Blursday! Which one of your characters would benefit from modern medication the most? If your characters are modern, what medication would help them that they're not on?

aaaah thank you for the ask!! (it's no longer Thursday in my part of the world but it's Thursday somewhere)

hmmm, all of my characters are in a modern setting. but i think it would either be Jaden/Joseph (he's in the middle of a character name change) on anti-anxiety meds, or Rhys on some sort of permanent pain medication (like morphine).

Jaden/Joseph has anxiety, but it's gone undiagnosed for years. probably because of family pressures, or the fact that he's developed coping mechanisms that work for the most part. in a way he was designed to be like that, the anxious guy with coping mechanisms, and i'm really looking forward to playing around with him more when i go back to my draft and start revising!!

Rhys, on the other hand, is dealing with the pain as a side effect of his powers. he is constantly in pain because of his electricity manipulation and constantly active sensory nerves, but when he focuses he can manipulate his body's electricity to stop the pain from occurring. he would really do better by having some sort of medicated pain management, though. then, maybe, he wouldn't be so grumpy.

Anne of the Island Book Club: Chapter 18

Oh, it's Christmas holidays already! I get that this book has four years to cover so it has to fast-forward sometimes, but even so, that was one short fall semester.

Poor Anne, though, she's not having a great time back in Avonlea at all. I love how Marilla is pulling a Mrs. Bennet style move here and leaving the room with the twins the moment Gilbert arrives.

Somehow, this makes me think Gilbert must be feeling very insecure about Anne's affection at this point (as he should be, of course, seeing how conflicted Anne herself is is about that) – most other suitors would probably have proposed already after seeing their beloved's parental figure make her opinion about the state of affairs as crystal-clear as that, especially when said parental figure is a no-nonsense person such as Marilla.

Maybe the protagonist getting a surprise inheritance just when they've been thinking about their money running out is not the most realistic or original plot point... but I think it's still sweet that Miss Josephine included Anne in her will. Anne certainly deserves it – and, remembering the inflation calculator posts about the 25 dollars she got for Averil's Atonement, a thousand dollars must be a life-altering amount of money for her indeed.

Davy's last remark about money and marriage made me laugh. He's a perceptive lad.

Translation notes:

The Finnish translation specifies that the hero of the book Davy is reading lands his fortune because the volcanic explosion throws him in the way of a very rich and enchanting heiress. Heh. It's also specified that if Davy had been Joseph, he would've let the royal executioner cut off his brothers' heads instead of doing it himself.

Lesson 28 - Holy Communion - The New Saint Joseph Baltimore Catechism No. 2

Happy Birthday the beautiful Scottish actress Julie Graham.

You must agree she is, and the bonnie lass has just caught up with me, we were both born in 1965, probably the only thing we have in common!

At home, Julie is an instantly recognisable face on our screens, Graham’s early years were spent with her mum Betty, who raised her alone in Irvine, Ayrshire, after her husband left when Julie was little. When Julie was eight Betty married again, to writer and broadcaster David Webster, but Betty succumbed to lung cancer when her daughter was in her late teens.

Her mother’s death, Julie says, spurred her to try and make the most of her life and she moved to London determined to become an actress. Before getting into acting, however, she worked in a law office and as a receptionist at a strip club - something she describes as “my first acting job”.

Her extensive TV credits include Taggart, Bonekickers, Survivors and The Bill. She’s also appeared in comedy movie Nuns On The Run, Some Voices, opposite Daniel Craig, and the romantic drama With Or Without You. While working on William And Mary she fell for her London-born co-star Joseph Bennet. The pair, who were married in 2002 and lived in Brighton in a formerly derelict Victorian house they renovated together from scratch. Sadly her husband took his own life in 2015.

In 2016 Julie joined the cast of Benidorm as the mother of new family, the Dawsons. She has also starred in the very successful Shetland, as Procurator Fiscal Rhona Kelly

Julie appeared in 2017 in brilliant, One of Us, set in the Highlands in the remote fictional village of Braeston. It was released internationally as a Netflix Original titled Retribution. The series received the highest number of nominations for any television production at the 2017 Scottish Royal Television Society Awards.

Since then she has turned up in Dr Who, the mini series Dun Breedin' about the taboo subject that is the menopause. The comedy-drama Queens of Mystery, all three scoring over 7/10 on my go to Movie and TV site Imdb. Julie was also on our screens in the drama Maternal about three doctors returning to post-pandemic frontline medicine after maternity leave.

Of late she has made guest appearances on two popular shows. Midsomer Murders and Silent Witnesss as well as the Edinburgh thriller series Payback with Peter Mullen Derek Riddell and Morvern Christie. Julie is lined up to star in The Hardacres an upcoming British period drama television series for Channel 5.
