Nora. If June was upset after a date, Nora probably was too, and all he wanted was for the two of them to be as happy as he and Henry were. He got out his phone and started typing, unable to find adequate words to say at first:

He deleted that last one and just looked at his phone for a minute, at a loss. If he was resorting to saying things like that, clearly he needed to take a step back. He was known for acting and speaking without thinking first sometimes, but this was one of those times that he definitely didn't want to make the situation worse. 

Finally, he settled on a combination of two of the texts he had typed out: What happened? What can I do to help?.

June looks back at her best friend, smiling to herself at the way Nora sticks out her tongue in concentration as she moves on to apply shimmery eyeshadow to June’s brow bone. Their faces are close enough for June to make out the beauty mark that’s placed right above her cupid's bow. The birthmark that Nora complains about on multiple occasions and hides with foundation. It’s not very often June gets to see her this way: barefaced and unfiltered. Her curls sit in a messy, unruly mop at the top of her head, as opposed to the slicked back bun she wears to public events. She’s beautiful.

“So what ever happened with Jeremy?”

“I, uh, ended things with him,” June says quietly. Nora pauses her movements, pulls her hand away from June’s face and gives her wide, questioning eyes. “wasn't feelin’ it, I guess.”

ok so it's wednesday and we're doing some southern philanthropy again cuz liam/pez is what i have more words of and not the thing i can't really post....cuz it's a kinda-secret thing

so here we go i'll start this off and then attempt to go to sleep maybe

Percy’s hand on his lower back brings him out of his thoughts, and Liam’s eyes are drawn to the plush lips that look like they are made for kissing. He hasn’t been kissed in more than a year and most of the kisses towards the end of his relationship with Spencer were less than satisfactory. Liam slides his hand up Percy’s arm; as it rests on his shoulder, he makes the decision. Apparently, the feel of a muscular bicep is enough to make him weak. He leans in to be heard over the music and doesn’t have to yell, and asks, “Can I kiss you?” Percy laughs and smiles up at him, “If you don’t, I’m going to be very upset.” Liam watches the way Percy’s teeth pull at his lip, and he wants to drag his own teeth across it. Liam bends down just a bit, and the way their lips perfectly slot together is thrilling. The slow slide of their lips against each other makes Liam want more. He chases a rush he’s not experienced in so long and slides his tongue just past Percy’s lips, not a lot, just enough to taste the whiskey still lingering from their drinks. He’s unsure which of them moans, but he pulls back slightly at it; Percy’s lips follow his though, and they continue kissing. Liam is thrilled to be in a club again, kissing and dancing, chasing the feeling of joy that a good kiss gives him.

The more time he spends with Alex, the more quirks he notices. Nora shuffled the blanket a bit to make space for herself and sat in front of June, who noticed the movement but didn’t say anything.

So, there's two that I'm most excited about right now!

This one I'm writing on every day and I lie awake at night thinking about them. I've got this entire story mapped out, the first chapter is done. I plan on writing about 4 chapters and oh my god, I'm having the most fun working it all out. I came up with this story while doing the dishes and listening to San Francisco by Niall Horan and now I'm absolutely fucking obsessed. They're soulmates, they fall in love at first sight, followed by heartbreak and suffering, but there will always be a happy ending. Hopefully it'll be done soon!

“Kiss me,” he blurts out. He has to suck his cheeks between his molars and bite down hard to stop himself from cringing, because it really does sound insane, but he suddenly wants nothing more than for Alex to kiss him. He’s in a foreign country, in a place where he has all the privacy in the world. He’s alone, in the dark, under the stars, with a man so attractive it makes his skin prickle and he wants to be kissed. He wants to be swept off his feet. For once, Henry just wants to be something to someone.

This one here? This is my baby. FirstMarine will forever be my baby and this is the story in which I give Luke the happily ever after he deserves, even though he had to go through a lot of shit to get there. I've almost finished writing chapter 3, so this one is coming along nicely, but it's a bit of a slow burn, so it might take a while to finish it. Eeeee I could talk about this all day, haha! ♥

Luke ends up coming over almost every day, and if he’s not nestled under a blanket in Alex’s window seat with a book or his laptop and with Buddy at his feet, he’s texting Alex book recommendations or memes he finds funny. Alex has also discovered that Luke prefers tea over coffee, which means that he now owns a box full of various types of tea, sitting right beside his own coffee collection in the cupboard above the sink. Alex likes it; the fact that he’s not alone all the time anymore. He did make that choice consciously when he moved back to Austin - to concentrate on work and his own mental health for a while - but he hadn’t realized how much he missed having someone to share his brain worms with. He also likes Luke’s laugh when he says something especially silly. He doesn’t know why, but it feels like a unique thing to witness; like Luke doesn’t laugh like that all that often. He feels privileged to be exposed to it and he won’t admit it out loud, but it’s definitely the reason why he sometimes says silly things on purpose.

I am also incredibly exited about kinktober this year! I've got 3 stories finished, 2 halfway there and 9 more outlined, so it's gonna be hella good!

nora/june from rwrb + holiday fic + text/letter Fic

Epistolary fics scare the shit out of me because I do not think I'm good at words like that.

Friendsgiving has become a bit of a tradition between the Super Six. It's November 2022 The entire Super Six is coming together after painstakingly planning since Pride to make sure that Bea would be able to attend. The story would be told through the multiple different versions of the group chats that they have.

Alex has just moved into the Brownstone "officially" (I promise, this is not about FirstPrince I just wanna set the stage for this being Bonus chapter compliant)

I think most of the text conversation between June and Nora would be pretending like there isn't an elephant in the room. Nora is totally down to follow June's lead and I think June is having a hard time deciding whether or not to actually say something to Alex before/during the visit. Not because Nora is a girl, but because its Nora and she and Alex dated first and June knows it's messy but she and Nora have always clicked.

Super Six plan in the large group chat what they will bring/contribute to the party.

June/Nora/Henry have a group chat where they talk about Alex leading up to Thanksgiving break because it feels like he's pushing himself really hard.

I can't think of what would happen in the interim. We might just time jump to a few days after Christmas 2022 when the festivities have died down and Alex has wrapped his brain around everything.

Alex texts June first to be like "stop leaving rocks in my house!"

To which June replies, that she was trying to re-center the energy in the house after having Mom, Dad, Leo, and Princess Catherine present for the holidays. While Mom and Dad didn't fight she could definitely feel some residual "bad vibes".

Alex doesn't respond to that text, instead he goes into "Two Geniuses + Alex" and tells the girls he loves them and he's sorry if they ever felt like they couldn't tell him what was going on. And he’s also sorry for being an obtuse asshole but whenever pez is involved he’d like to never know.

June hearts the message and sends "love you lil bit <3"

and Nora sends the Doofenshmirtz nickel meme.

Week 17: Chocolate (Gift)

A weird, almost choking noise brings June into the dining room. "Babe, you alright?"

Nora's shoulders are shaking and panic begins rising in June's chest until she realizes Nora is laughing. Or rather, trying not to laugh but failing.

"What so funny?" June asks, frowning.

Nora just shakes her head and spins her laptop for June to see. Two mugs printed with "hungover but handsome" and "just doing his best."

Ah.

June tries to hide a smile. "You know Alex is going to hate you for this."

Nora shrugs, "It's fine, he won't care once I give him some chocolate."

There’s a part of June that needed to figure out how to even tell Nora, too. After all, she’s smack-dab in the middle of Dauntless initiation. June was sure she was being watched like a hawk, her every movement scrutinized by the leaders around her- and from what June’s heard, likely other initiates too. How could she get to Nora without raising any suspicions?

He would let the rich pavement and wide open highways take him home. Texas bluebonnet wild, cicada strong, sideways pampas grass floating freeways situated between wildfire season and the inevitable downpour of hail that tramples Mother Nature's roadside finger paintings.

But he fucking can’t.

Because New York City doesn’t have cicadas; it has cockroaches.

He can’t take the key around his neck and let it be a homing device—protective shield across his heart when he’s run out of air and the gas tank goes low.

There are a couple things in this world that are absolutely unbearable for Alex.

The sound of her parents fighting, for one. She still remembers it, the yelling, that is. It was always so loud that even headphones couldn’t cancel out the noise.

Another thing she cannot fucking stand is when people don’t know how to make good coffee. It’s not that fucking hard.

Thirdly, people not letting her explain herself. She fucking hates being blamed for things that she didn’t do without having the chance to defend herself.

There are a couple more extreme ones, such as racists, bigots, and outright assholes…

But one thing she can’t fucking stand at this particular moment is the snobby, blonde, British girl in her English class who always has her nose stuck in a fucking book.

Alex feels the first twinge in his bladder as he’s moving to the fridge to grab the water pitcher, an ache that’s sharp at first, but settles into something manageable, something almost… exciting. Like a buzz under his skin that he wants to ride out, like a high.

He’s been at this point before, after one too many coffees during late night study sessions in undergrad, too distracted by his readings to take a break, but the difference between then and now is he would just cut his losses. He’d feel that first ache and get up, bookmark his spot and nip it in the bud, but that’s not the plan tonight.

Tonight, he refills his bottle, lays back on the couch, and turns to his phone.

Henry is a lot of things as a person and while much of his personality transfers over to his bunny form, his physical attributes do not. Most notably, his size.

Where Alex’s boyfriend stands tall and regal, his furry counterpart is small and fluffy, unable to summit even the most minor of obstacles.

Take their sofa, for one. Alex is watching TV and minding his own business, when he hears a steady thump from just below him. Peering over the edge of the dark cushion, he spots his boyfriend angrily pounding his back foot against the carpet.

“Ha! Is my little bun too tiny to get up here on his own?” Alex teases. He’s promptly rewarded with a whisker twitch followed by a nose scrunch. Henry is pouting and it’s the most adorable thing he’s ever witnessed.

Henry grins in contentment and rakes his fingernails along the backs of Alex’s thighs. “There’s my good boy,” he praises. Alex muffles a whine into the bend of his elbow and Henry watches in astonishment as he relaxes against the mattress. The verbal approval settles deep in Alex’s bones. “I knew you hadn’t forgotten your manners. You just needed a bit of a reminder. Isn’t that right, darling?”

Henry gives, and Alex takes.

Henry feels as if time has stopped, but he can hear the people at the table still talking and the bells of the machines going off around them. Nora nudges Alex with her elbow, seeming to break the spell Henry and Alex have been under. Alex’s attention is ripped away and he turns, throwing the dice down the middle of the table.

OR, Alex & Henry meet in Vegas, get drunk, and get married. Woops.

He also helps Alex discover new facets of himself. I wholeheartedly recommend! Bonus: the shorter follow-ups are a treat, too.

@na-dineee: One of my comfort reads! Alex is a JSD student at NYU Law, Prince Henry officially lives in NY and is unofficially out. Also, Alex hates the monarchy, eat the rich and all that. When the two meet at an event, Henry's curiosity is piqued when he receives back the NDA that Alex (and all guests) had to sign, marked up thoroughly in red. The story is very fast-paced, super funny, a lot smutty, also touching - it's everything! And Junora are the icing on the cake!
