Flesh of all kinds; the rotten, the cooked, the baked, the soup of all those staring eyes that floated carelessly in the cauldron. All whom she had met by ‘fate’ and dragged into the façade of a perfect little cottage with the answer to their dreams behind its perfect wooden doors.

            She still couldn’t describe it, not entirely. She could try to tell someone of the sweet ammonia that she assumed devils who lived constantly ablaze enjoyed. The smell of despair and betrayal, of squashed hope as the light in their gazes left to another realm with their screams. Myrrh would talk to them as they floated in the boiling pot. Hoping their souls would forgive her for her misgivings. She was only alive because of Her. Not stranded, like her parents had intended. She was being taught ancient forest magic and promised safety if she just listened, heeded, followed every command. The cost was just them. The strangers that wandered too far into the bog. Further than any sane being would roam.

Hello! I'm working on a Spidersona design for Katara and I'm wondering if anyone can give me any tips on how I should move forward with the design or better ideas to go with here.

i took inspiration from inuit katiniit tattoos and markings around the face an arms, though if anyone inuit knows better designs or notices any i used inappropriately, please let me know.

for the spider symbol on the chest, it's sorta incorporated into the lining of the hood, so it's a big fuzzy spider made from the fur lining of the outer coat she wears. the arms are bare for mobility and aesthetic reasons, though i'm planning on making a full parka design as rhe sorta streetwear clothing version akin to Gwen's jackets and Peter B's sweatpants.

i got the basic color blocking down but i wanted to know if anyone had advice on it to improve or alter

Burning methanol spits up a beautiful blue flame. It even seems to be smokeless with nothing left behind after the fire goes out, showing a very efficient burn

Enter lithium methoxide. When mixed with methanol, lithium will rip the H off the methanol and dissolve in, giving off hydrogen gas in the process 2(CH3OH) + 2(Li) -> 2(CH3OLi) + H2

With this new concoction, the bright crimson of burning lithium shines

The lithium fire is so bright, the ISO of the camera can be dropped significantly until the surroundings are nothing but void. Leaving only the flame visible

The white lithium oxide powder left over after burning is a strong alkaline, like bleach. Touching it will suck all the moister out of skin, and it'll start to peel away. Eat at your own risk
