What do you MEAN Dean was down on his knees begging Cas to come back to him. Bloodied up not doing anything to defend himself from the angel, who, mind you, was actively beating the life out of him while he was begging.

The indecision has been discussed repeatedly today but on a serious note, my issue really is summed up by the fact that even at the last moment, the Hells ask even Predathos to make the choice for them. "What do you want to do?" is an abdication. This might've been inevitable, but at this point it isn't even happening because it was inevitable, it's happening because even now they are not choosing to make the decision themselves.

Which means that Nightmare didn’t actually kill the cat and Killer saved it. Do I have proof they’re the same cats? No. But I do love living in denial

Also I think that Dream was able to find Killer cause his happiness after saving the cat was SO STRONG that it literally summoned him.

15. shaking hands

Warriors heard the cry, and then when it was accompanied by a frantic shout from Songbird, he immediately snapped his head up, just in time to see Ethereal fall to a knee, her eyes wide as she clutched at her arm.

She’d been shot.

“Cryonis!” Songbird shouted, but Warriors was already running.

“I’ve got her!” he shouted back, and threw up a quick shield of ice to give them cover as he dove to his knees beside Ethereal. “How bad?”

“I’m fine, it’s fine,” Ethereal hissed, hands pressed tightly to her arm. “I’ve been shot before, it’s fine.”

“Just because something has happened before doesn't mean it's fine,” Warriors replied shortly, and eased her hand off her arm so he could see the damage. He hissed at the blood already staining her sleeve. “How did this get through your suit?”

“There were rumors someone was working on a— ngh... a b-bullet that could get through megamesh,” Ethereal panted. “B-besides, nobody has... made f-fully bulletproof fabric.”

“Yeah I know, I’m just trying to keep you alert,” Warriors tried to tease, and winced as Ethereal let out a whimper rather unlike her. “I need to put pressure on it.”

“I know,” she said in a strained voice, and bit her lip as Warriors pressed on her arm, doing his best to staunch the bleeding.

"I think you're out of this fight," he said more quietly, and they both flinched as Songbird let out a ferocious lyrical shout, the floor shaking a little. "...And I have a feeling Songbird has it handled."

"Exit's blocked," Ethereal panted, "and I can't go incorporeal like this."

"Right," Warriors breathed out, then got himself situated in a better position. "Guess we'll wait."

He tightened his grip, and Ethereal closed her eyes, face pale behind her mask. For a moment the only sound between them was of Warriors doing what he could to stabilize the wound, and Ethereal's harsh breathing she tried to keep steady. Warriors had never seen her quite so shaken, and he ignored the fear in his stomach focused on fixing her up.

Someone's hands were shaking. He didn't know if they were his or hers.

"You'll be fine," he said quietly, keeping tight pressure on her arm as they heard Songbird shout again.

Ethereal swallowed, and shot him a shaky grin. "How couldn't I be w-with the great Cryonis helping me out?"

"Of course, no need to fear," he did his best to smile back, though it faded when he felt her shaking again. "...I ever tell you about when I froze my brother's foot to the rug when he was mad at me?"

Ethereal faintly smiled. "I don't think so, no."

And so Warriors told her, and after he finished with that story prompted her for one, and they went back and forth like that, carefully dodging identities as they traded questions and stories for as long as it took for Songbird to finish the fight.
