headcanon that wei ying just loves to give hugs. he always hugs the juniors, especially holding lan shizui tight and ruffling his hair. wei ying would give lan jingyi a high five first and then slap his back when they both go in for it. for ouyang zizhen, they do that thing where they both hold each other the same way and jump up and down bc they're dumb like that. wei ying is more mindful of jin ling's space, but when jin ling looks particularly sour when he feels left out, he would give a quick one-arm squeeze.

wangxian summer camp counselors au? the first summer is kind of a disaster: they're 16 and junior counselors and wwx gets kicked off the staff halfway through the season for bringing booze onto the property and trying to convince other staffers to go skinny dipping in the lake with him...BUT when he turns up again the summer after college as a senior counselor (and oh btw the other counselor accompanying lwj + 12 t(w)eenage boys on a 3 week river canoeing/tent camping trek) lwj knows he's FUCKED
GUESS WHO ALSO HAS NEVER BEEN ON SUMMER CAMP?
(Yes, it’s me. I have never been. I don’t think it’s A Thing over here and I am decidedly Not a camp person. Camping in Australia = a tent, the Great Outdoors, and fending for yourself in the bush against things that can and probably will try to kill you. And mozzies. Lots of mozzies. And kookaburras that try to steal the meat off your barbeque fork. The sort of camp described here would probably be like a three-day school camp we go on for forced social bonding time. On which I have been a few times, once for sex and health ed, and only ONCE as a peer support mentor.)
LWJ is not sure how WWX even got the job
he clearly knows the rules and takes delight in breaking them
underaged drinking is Illegal with a Capital I, Wei Ying, and I will report you
WWX has no rights to have such nice hair even after a full day of supervising pre-teens rock climbing and canoeing and whatever other activities he’s in charge of for the day
Once he caught WWX sneaking out of bed after curfew
WWX tells him it was to find the lake monster everyone’s been talking about and LWJ thinks are you fucking serious
LWJ is in charge of the campfire songs, so thank you but no thank you for your input WWX, there is never a need for rude versions of anything
seriously, how do you have raunchy versions of every single song
No, fencing with barbeque forks is not allowed
Yes, it is a hazard, put it DOWN
No one let WWX near fire, or flammable things
LQR’s beard is singed for weeks
LWJ almost has an aneurysm when he catches WWX out after curfew again and WWX asks if he wants to go skinny dipping in the lake
when WWX is told to leave, LWJ tells himself good riddance
he somehow still ends up wandering aimlessly down to the lake every other night and feeling disappointed when he’s alone
When WWX comes back (and how is he even allowed back), three years later, he’s...taller, tanner, broader
LWJ has a sudden feeling of oh shit
They share a tent and it’s the WORST because WWX sleeps in his BOXERS because my body temperature runs hot, Lan Zhan, I can’t help it
it’s survival basics Wei Ying put your DAMN SHIRT ON
It gets exponentially WORSE (if possible) when WWX’s canoe overturns and he grabs onto LWJ’s and hauls himself back up and LWJ suddenly finds a very wet WWX sprawled in front of him
He catches WWX sneaking out again and this time, when WWX teases him about going skinny dipping, LWJ has a moment of Sheer Dumbass Bravery and strips
WWX.exe crashes and has to reboot in Safe Mode
LWJ may be just a little too smug about that
what are the kids even doing at this point who knows but there is Sexual Tension and everyone can feel it

Untamed Fic Rec List
My The Untamed WangXian rec list! This is designed as an intro to the fandom for my sister, who just finished watching the show with me.
Post-Canon / Case Fics
Linger in the Sun (T)
By etymologyplayground
"Tell Lan Zhan that I'm weeping uncontrollably," Wei Wuxian says to the juniors. "Tell him I'm truly pitiful and he needs to do everything I say until I'm well again."Lan Congyi is in the middle of carefully holding his eyelids open to check his pupils, but he still obeys, bless him. "Hanguang-Jun, Senior Wei would like us to tell you that he can't stop crying and he'd like for you to do everything he says until he's better." There's a moment of silence, and then Lan Congyi says to Wei Wuxian, "Hanguang-Jun says he already does everything you tell him."
    --
Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji find themselves cursed, unable to see or hear each other. They figure things out anyway.
build me no shrines (M)
By occultings
Wei Wuxian opens the letter and skims through, feeling his frown deepen with every line. “Oh. A request from Yiling. This man Tong Shen writes, 'I can’t explain what’s happening — you wouldn’t believe me if I tried. The hills are moving and they are hungry. Please send aid, Hanguang-jun, this humble one begs you.' Well, my curiosity is certainly piqued."
A few months after the events of Guanyin Temple, Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji take on a night hunt of an unusual sort: The Burial Mounds are spreading, quickly and with no apparent explanation.
In Wei Wuxian, it brings old, long-buried things bubbling to the surface.
hunters seeking solid ground (E)
Attila
“Hanguang-jun,” Wei Wuxian repeats. His heart clenches. He wants—but he’d really meant to have this nightmare stuff down before they met again, so he wouldn’t find himself relying on Lan Wangji’s nearness. He’s not supposed to go back yet. But he’s so tired, and his will crumbles. “Yeah,” he says. “All right. Take me back to Gusu with you.”
beneath six layers of silk (E)
By darkredloveknot
While exorcising a haunting, Lan Wangji gets cursed with a brand of honesty, and is forced to speak his every thought out loud.
You, Asleep and Dreaming (M)
By etymologyplayground
Wei Wuxian chuckles and starts pushing Lan Wangji's outer robes off his shoulders. "Poor Lan Zhan, subject to such earthly miseries. You must be exhausted, come to bed, come to bed."
"Mm," Lan Wangji says. He raises his arms so that Wei Wuxian can keep undressing him. His clothes will end up on the floor, but no matter. Wei Wuxian's deft hands at his belts are worth wrinkled robes.
"... Goodness, Hanguang-Jun, you wear too many damned layers," Wei Wuxian tells him after a while. "Would it kill you to stop after a reasonable five?"
--
Wei Wuxian moves into the Jingshi. They sleep together.
come home to my heart (M)
By occultings
“Listen. Lan Zhan," Wei Ying says. "I know this whole thing, with — with the soul-switch, it’s upsetting. And believe me, I know my body is the last one on earth you’d want to be inside of.”
Lan Wangji chokes, then passes it off as a cough.
On a night hunt, Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji get cursed and stuck in each other's bodies. As you would expect, shenanigans ensue.
Vagabond (E)
By xantissa
Wei Wuxian comes back to Cloud Recesses after a year of wandering the world, hoping to start a relationship with Lan Zhan. He doesn’t expect to come into the middle of a case of sleeping sickness mysteriously killing people, nor does he expect what follows, putting everything he holds dear on the line once again.
dream of a funeral; hear of a marriage (T)
By defractum
The news spread around the cultivation world quickly: Hanguang-jun would take whomever was skilled enough to take the Gusu Jade Token from around his neck as his cultivation partner and spouse.
Ten years later, Wei Wuxian is brought back into Mo Xuanyu's body, and he is awfully confused as to why random cultivators keep trying to attack Lan Wangji.
爱不释手; never let me go (E)
By yiqie
Wei Wuxian has certainly hoped so ardently in his two lifetimes, for so many different things, in so many different ways, that he could have summoned the demon to his front door with his bare hands. His eyes wander to Lan Zhan, settle on the back of his head, the blue-black curtain of his hair. Oh, how he has hoped.
[AKA the trees are alive, but not with the sound of music]
Canon Divergent / Fix-It
(This is getting too long so I’m putting the rest of the fics under the cut)
a stone to break your soul, a song to save it (M)
By rikke
When the entire cultivation world turns against Wei Wuxian, Jiang Cheng comes up with a plan to save him and arranges a marriage between his brother and the Second Jade of Lan, Lan Wangji.
The kite string and the anchor rope (M)
By fleurdeliser
When A-Yuan gets sick and Wen Qing doesn't have the supplies she needs to properly treat him, Wei Wuxian can only think of one place to go for help.
hope dangling by a string (M)
KouriArashi
Lan Wangji had never had call to perform the spell of silent communication before he and Wei Wuxian joined together to fight Xuanwu. He figured it was temporary. Spoiler alert: it wasn't.
Or: the AU in which Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian psychically bond in the cave, Wei Wuxian overhears Lan Wangji thinking about the fact that he actually likes him, and after several minutes of confusion, is fully on board with this.
seldom all they seem (E)

or, one hundred and thirty-three principles of the Gusu Lan, pertaining to the state of marriage
***
He bows to Wei Wuxian, sword in hand, sleeves falling properly. Wei Wuxian bows in return, and the sect leaders begin the opening courtesies, and for all of ten minutes Lan Wangji is under the impression that he is betrothed to a boy who is perfectly normal and acceptable apart from an unfortunate tendency to fidget with his clothes.
That impression does not last.
[Aaaaand finally the inspiration for me making this rec list in the first place, my absolute favorite fix-it fic:]
And Time Is But a Paper Moon (M)
By sami
"Zewu-Jun. You once told me about a house surrounded by gentians, where you visited once a month, and how Lan Zhan still waited there, even when the door no longer opened."
Xichen feels light-headed. He feels shocked, and angry. He has never told anyone such a thing, but Lan Zhan is giving Xichen a look of utter betrayal.
"You told him?" Lan Zhan whispers. "When?"
Wei Wuxian takes Lan Zhan's hand. "About twenty years from now."
Wei Wuxian starts again from the beginning.

For the starter prompts: 16. “Are you hurt?” “No.” “Then why are there bruises all over your face?” - For parental wwx and sizhui please?
[i don’t remember what the prompt list was or what i tagged it but]
“Are you hurt?” Worry laces Wei Wuxian’s tone as he pulls Lan Sizhui to him. One hand grips the young man’s chin, tipping his head to the side.
“No…” Lan Sizhui can’t quite meet his eyes, staring up and to the left.
Silver eyes narrow. A bruise clearly blooms from the corner of his mouth, on his temple. One eyebrow goes up and Sizhui shifts. “Then why are there bruises all over your face?” It could easily have come out accusatory, harsh. Clearly, Lan Sizhui is lying. Clearly, something happened. But he keeps his tone soft and gentle and worried and that’s what breaks Sizhui.
The young man’s face falls and he sighs, shoulders slumping. “It was Jin Ling’s fault,” he insists, pouting.
Everyone insists that Lan Sizhui takes after Lan Wangji, that he has none of Wei Wuxian. So reserved and polite and well spoken. Talented in all the arts and whips smart. They’re all wrong. Lan Sizhui has inherited a Wei Wuxian streak, secretly encouraged by Lan Wangji (and openly encouraged by Wei Wuxian now that he knows him). The pout reads of his father after a single sip of alcohol. But the stubborn, defiant look in his eyes is all Wei Wuxian.
“Jin Ling?” The other eyebrow goes up. As far as he knew, the two of them were on friendly terms. (The seniors affectionately call Lan Sizhui, Lan Jingyi, Jin Ling, and Ouyang Zizhen the ‘Junior Quartet’. The best of their generation, bonded together through circumstance and friendship.) “You fought with Jin Ling?” Huh. Seems the brat actually took his advice. But to fight with Sizhui of all people?
The sheepishness falls off Lan Sizhui’s face, replaced with a look of fierce determination. “Of course I did! The things he said- I couldn’t let it stand!”
“Something he said?” Wei Wuxian’s brow furrows. The more he learns, the more confused he becomes. Lan Sizhui takes after his father in that he rarely let insults to his person get to him. Surely, Jin Ling must have said something truly terrible to ruffle Sizhui so. “Do I need to pay him a visit?”
“No!” No, he just- he said some things… about you.” Anger flashes briefly in those silver eyes and Wei Wuxian smiles to himself.
“Ah, A-Yuan! Defending my honor, what a good boy! Hanguang-Jun really did a good job with you.” He throws an arm around the now flushing boy’s shoulders and pulls him close. Lan Zhan really has raised a wonderful kid. It eases the ache in his chest at leaving him. He wishes with all his heart that he could have been there as his A-Yuan grew, but knowing that Lan Zhan raised him kept him safe- He shakes his head to rid himself of the sappy thoughts, presses his forehead to Lan Sizhui’s temple. “You don’t need to fight my battles, my A-Yuan. It’s my job to protect you, not the other way around.”
“But-!”
“No buts!” He bumps his head against Lan Sizhui’s. “Next time, let him run his mouth. If he’s looking for a fight, let Lan Jingyi fight him.”
Lan Sizhui deflates, leans against Wei Wuxian. “Fine, fine.” He doesn’t sound happy but Wei Wuxian trusts he’ll keep his word.
Wei Wuxian squeezes Lan Sizhui to him. “Thank you.

The forbidden crack! Untamed prompts: 18/?
University AU: “Negative Space”
[ok so, self projection is a bitch, but I am petty to myself on a regular basis so it’s ok]
[title is from the Japanese concept “ma”, which Wikipedia describes as:
“a Japanese word which can be roughly translated as ‘gap’, ‘space’, ‘pause’ or ‘the space between two structural parts.’ In traditional Japanese arts and culture, ma is more carefully defined as the suggestion of an interval. It is best described as a consciousness of a sense of place, with the ‘intervals’ suggested often being more than simple gaps, instead focusing on the intention of a negative space in an art piece.
Ma is not necessarily an art concept created by compositional elements, such as the literal existence of a negative space. Instead, the intention is often to create the perception of an interval in the viewer experiencing the elements forming an art piece, making maless reliant on the existence of a gap, and more closely related to the perceived experience of a gap.
Ma has also been described as ‘an emptiness full of possibilities, like a promise yet to be fulfilled’, and as ‘the silence between the notes which make the music’.”
Fun fact: “ma” also means “but” in Italian, which is what usually follows whatever intrusive thought may plague my mind. Eg: “I may be useless now, BUT just you wait until I get some dopamine to get me through this shitty times.”]
*
Wei Ying never asked for much in his life. He’s content with cleaning classrooms and toilets and nobody can beat him at wiping the marble floors if he works hard enough. Granny Wen, his supervisor, is slightly impressed with his ability to make the wood shine for ages to come. His nephew Jin Ling sometimes comes to check on him when he’s done with senior classes or cram school in the evening, and together they sit down and listen to whatever his older friends in music production came up with during the day. Jiang Cheng occasionally would ask him to keep him company while he grades papers and they bitch about ZiXuan and his inability to dote on their sister. The cafeteria ladies are always nice to him and they give him extra congee because they worry for his questionable consumption of spice products.
He’s fine, really.
So why can’t he stop wandering over to the science building these days? Looking for a clean board to use, for an equation to finally solve? Even if in the end he just takes the chalk in hand and simply stares down at the inky surface in front of him, unable to write. His mind working on a software too advanced for the hardware that constitutes his brain.
Thirteen years. It has been already thirteen years and yet it feels like yesterday, or like it never happened at all. Like it has yet to be. Time blindness is a bitch to deal with, yet dyscalculia and ADHD makes a joke out of you when you love math on a visceral level... but you burned too bright too fast and now you function on no data and with an even shittier signal. Having a burnout at 23 should have taught him humility instead of pride, but Wei Ying has always worked out of spite and certain habits are difficult to forget.
Couldn’t put the number in the right order, switching digits left and right since he was young? Fine. Numbers were concepts anyway, entire civilizations working their magic without even knowing what “zero” stood for. A brain steaming with a million ideas per second? Good. New connections brimming with ideas he could use to better the world.
It worked fine until he let himself down. Until he became a useless empty lighter, a wet match tossed out, carbon monoxide in the air.
Dropped out before finishing his very ambitious, highly dangerous for his psyche, thesis project. Aunt Yu never forgave him for that, not after paying for his advanced classes, not after trusting Uncle Jiang and supporting him despite his many flaws. What good is being first of your class every year, poster child of a teaching system done right, graduating bachelor at 21, if you can’t finish your master at 23 and get your PhD at 25 and start teaching by 27 and drive yourself insane in the process?
Wei Ying dropped out and didn’t finish his master, didn’t enroll in the teaching program, and let everyone down. His Uncle and Aunt looking down on him, whether out of pity or shame. Jiang Cheng may have been the one leaving him behind, but he used to be the one saying “you should have tried harder”. YanLi worrying over him when she should have focused on her career first. Jin Ling growing up with stories of his uncle “not being worth the money put into his education”, taught to not disappoint and make his family proud. The Jin side, that is.
And now the kid comes crawling in defeat to him instead of Jiang Cheng after bombing a test in high school. And they chat of what he would like to do and how much he likes sports and how much he despises the idea of getting a scholarship for that and being called stupid or something by his classmates. And he cries when he thinks Wei Ying cannot see him as he leaves the campus late at night.
Wei Ying didn’t even want to solve that impossible theorem he fixated on in his early twenties. His thesis project was inconsequential in the great scheme of things and his professor only wanted him to be his one trick pony in the end. No. Wei Ying wanted to teach math in elementary school, hell... even in kindergarten. He wanted to change the approach to the subject. Because numbers cannot be taught like language is and there are many ways to teach how to sum up digits and divide quantities and there are no rules on how to make sense of space either.
But how can he teach when even time eludes his senses?
Something that nobody can define, but certainly most perceive as linear... but not him. Not since his brain fried up in his attempt to function like a normal human being.
After thirteen years nothing has changed.
Until one day he hears something else aside from his usual intrusive thoughts and burdensome memories. A melody so quiet he almost mistakes it for the wind, coming from the music building.
He walks slowly, night surrounding him like the embrace of a friend as he makes his way to the traditional musical instruments room. The one where Jin Ling’s friends meet sometimes as they wait for the younger boy to join them. Wei Ying holds his breath as he spies through the gap of the door left ajar, neon light slicing his face like moonbeams as he peeks in and recognizes Jin Ling’s friends and another figure sitting on the ground, guqin on their knees.
But before he can lean in and breathe in the vibrant sounds all around, the door opens and music theory Professor Lan finds Wei Ying clutching his mop for dear life.
They said the man could see colors within the notes, that he despises language outside of his class or office and that only his brother, the history of art TA, could convince him to talk every now and then.
If numbers were created to measure space, Wei Ying firmly believed music had been invented to make sense of time and count its seconds in rhythm and notes, pauses and beats. Yet, time seems to stretch to a stop as the janitor focuses all of his attention on professor Lan’s stern face and his heart quickens its pace.
Wei Ying takes a rushed breath and dives right in with a weird sense of hope pumping in his veins. A small, timid voice whispering that life is not made to be atoned, but to move on and grow.
One step at a time.
“I’m Wei Ying, Professor Lan. May I listen while you play?”
Yes, maybe it will be enough just to let time flow at its pace.
Whatever rhythm that may be.
*
[some hcs down below]
WWX does not magically solve the math theorem. he may or may not help kids figure out how to use numbers on the long run tho. no, he will still work as a janitor and there’s nothing wrong with that.
yes, LWJ is autistic and stimms and finds WWX’s honesty soothing. yes, you can add your hcs on the matter. he has synesthesia, but more on the grapheme-color side of the deal than anything else and he sees certain letters/numbers/notes in different colors. people think he can see colors in music, but they misunderstood and thought he could recognize different hues while listening to music instead of reading it.
JC has grown since his uni years and doesn’t resent WWX anymore. he teaches astrophysics as a TA and doesn’t pressure his brother to pick his studies up anymore. WWX has mixed feelings about this: he feels he’s a lost cause, to the point not even his brother spurs him to best himself anymore, but he is grateful for the patience anyway.
LXC is the official LWJ translator of the campus along with their cousins SiZhui and JinGyi. he bonds with WWX and JC over how tired they are, seldom staring at flies roaming above them in the cafeteria bc none of them can even move. he lives on caffeine and regrets, but he’s getting better as he develops a love for his plant babies and tries to not let them die on a daily basis.
Wen Ning and Wen Qing are little overachievers and adrenaline junkies, hence their competitive streak on their way to their third master degree just for funsies. they scare people with how driven they are, but the juniors love them.
NMJ is the one to go to if you need to get away with murder, but JGY will actually be the one helping you dispose of the body. the fact that they both work in criminal law is somewhat both reassuring and disquieting. they hate each other and yet cannot stop hang out, they are close to 40 and need the rivalry to keep going anyway. nothing beats a good nemesis. not even sex. maybe.
NHS has failed his entrance exam to become a nurse too many times to count, but he is determined to see the end of it. even if he could potentially work in the family business, but he doesn’t know anything about managing an empire of bricks and he doesn’t care. if NMJ could run away, well, so can he.
MianMian is Wei Ying’s bestie and has the biggest crush on JGY’s sister A-Su the kindergarten teacher, but since they are childhood besties she doesn’t know how to approach her. she is Jin Ling’s idol and a certified boxer and refers to herself as a useless bisexual. Wei Ying boxes with her sometimes, she always win.
YanLi is an equestrian mum, but in the best way possible: she coaches children for shows and teaches them horses should be loved and feared equally and that if you want to shoot arrows from a running horse you should always, ALWAYS let go of the stirrups the moment the beast gets too unhinged to ride. JC fears her, WWX is only glad she didn’t train police dogs for a living.
ZiXuan actually loves his wife, but WWX and JC question his career choices and the fact that he’s a retired lawyer spending his family fortune while he’s a stay-at-home dad and does all the housework. WWX and JC believe he should give their sister a better life and work his ass off to deserve her, but he does make amazing rice cakes and keeps up with Jin Ling’s studies and is very supportive of his dreams.
A-Qing and Song Lan are siblings and sometimes bring JC food from the campus cafeteria where they both work at, while Xiao XingChen and his carer Xue Yang work with LXC for a project on accessibility for visually impaired visitors of the local museum. JC and LXC work to make Song Lan and Xiao XingChen fall for each other, but the youngsters are too protective to let them play matchmaker so easily.
[this is all for now. please, if you want, add your own headcanons!]

yanling daoren meets cangse sanren & her family!
- yanling daoren is baoshan sanren’s first desciple, he’s a senior martial brother of wei wuxian’s mother i believe
- when yanling daoren is on another night hunt he encounters a couple of rogue cultivators
- one of them he recognizes only because her technique of fighting is very similar, if not exact, to his own
- she also seems to notice this as she lowers her sword and bows to him “yanling daoren?” her husband asks, putting his hands together in front of him and also bowing
- “please” he says politely and returns the bow. they basically bond over their teacher and cangse introduces her husband and yanling is very accepting
- they invite him to join them for a dinner and well he can’t deny, can he? he has just met his younger sister
- when they get back yanling encounters a pleasant surprise of a small boy sleeping in the tiny bed that’s provided for him, he looks at the child in admiration
- “that’s our son, wei ying” cangse says fondly and pulls the covers over wei ying that he had managed to throw off himself
- yanling smiles as he pulls out the red ribbon from his hair and hands it to wei changze
- “it’s enchanted to protect one from evil beings, please accept it as my humble late gift” no matter how much cangse refuses yanling just smiles gently and says it’s an honor to take a part in protecting this child
- while the couple is preparing dinner wei ying awakens and starts crying, yanling coos at him and pulls him out of the bed, gently positioning the child on his arms he sways back and forth and hums a soft melody for the child
- wei ying starts babbling & grabs at yanling’s robes from time to time, the man is absolutely endeared
- wei changze walks up to him and lowers wei ying’s hands from grabbing at yanling’s face “i’m sorry” he says while laughing. yanling assures him it’s no problem
- the two men sit down in front of the fire, with changze holding wei ying now. “i never thought we’d meet cangse’s senior martial brother. i’m glad our paths have crossed”
- yanling regards him with a gentle “i’m glad to meet my junior sister. it’s an honor knowing you and your son”
- “i want to give wei ying the best life he can have. i hope he’ll follow his path even if we aren’t there to guide him” yanling looks horrified for a moment
- “our job isn’t safe yanling-xiong, you know how it goes. i just hope we’re around enough for him to not be alone” yanling daoren feels something reach into his heart and shake it from within
- “i have a favor to ask, brother” yanling regards all his attention “in case something happens, please take care of wei ying”
- yanling daoren is struck for a moment before he recomposes himself and replies seriously “you have my word, till the day i take my last breath”
- they see cangse returning so they stop talking. changze takes out the red ribbon and gently collects wei ying’s hair into his hand, and ties the ribbon around it. yanling has the biggest grin on his face
- few years later all is good until yanling daoren heats from towns people how they had found rouge cultivators who had died whole hunting around in the area
- his blood freezes for few seconds before he wills himself to calm down and ask the people if the bodies have been collected
- turns out the bodies have been put into the grave house and were awaiting the burial. with a heavy heart yanling daoren heads there only to find his dear friends laying there lifeless
- his heart shatters into million pieces as he dares approach them and cry over them. clutching their hands on both sides
- he looks at wei changze and repeats his promise to him silently, tears shamelessly streaming down his face
- yanling asks the grave house owner if something, anything, was found among them and the man hands him a paper that has his name on it
- “dear yanling daoren, i write to you in case the worst is to come. if you’re reading this it means the worst has already come. please, remember of your promise”
- and then wei ying’s location is written in the neat handwriting. yanling takes a few minutes to compose himself, bow to his dear friends and fly to the location
- when he arrives he sees a small shed and sees a child playing in the garden, the child is probably four years old now
- he approaches with caution and when the child sees him he runs into his arm, as if they’ve known each other all their lives
- “i know who you are!” the child giggles, the red ribbon still tied firmly in his hair. yanling’s heart warms
- “wei ying, you’ve grown” yanling says and almost breaks down again. the child seems to know what’s going on
- “mommy said you’ll come when they will need to leave... did they leave, ren-gege?”
- “wei ying, listen to me very carefully, they didn’t leave you, they would never leave you if they could. wei ying, i’ll take care of you from now on” yanling says assuredly, trying to sound reliable
- he waits for the bomb to drop, for wei ying to kick and scream but nothing comes. instead the child reaches out his hand and takes yanling’s two fingers to hold
- that night yanling is not sleeping when he suddenly feels someone crawl by his side. he lifts the covers to fins wei ying huddled at his knees, looking busted
- “come here” yanling urges him gently and wei ying crawls into his arms, hiding his face into yanling’s chest and then the tears come
- “cry, wei ying, it’ll make you feel better” he tells the child as he gently strokes wei ying’s hair, the red ribbon catching in between his fingers
- and as he holds the child close and feels his breaths even out he lets himself cry for his dear friends again
- he carefully slides out of the bed, too restless to sleep, and stands by the window, looking out into the never ending field and the moon in the sky that seems to mock him
- he sighs and runs his hand through his hair. he looks back at wei ying, the red ribbon catching some of the moonlight and gently smiles to himself
- he looks up and whispers “till the day i take my last breath”

❄️ Untamed Winter Fest 2019 ❄️
Day 18 - Sweet - 1.9k
This piece follows on from my Day 1 and Day 11.
The oranges were perfectly in season and particularly sweet and juicy at that time of year, which was why for every segment Jingyi had succeeded in peeling free he only managed to eat half for himself.
The other half was subject to an oppressive tax levied by the Jin Clan Sect Leader. Oddly though, the reason for the tax changed with every segment he extracted.
The first was a Jin Sect tithe, the second a future cultivational partner dowry, the third a most accomplished archer in the room tax and so forth.
As Jin Ling had taken some minor wounds in their latest night hunt however, Jingyi was in the mood to pamper and spoil him. Which was how they’d finished up with Jingyi sat on Jin Ling’s bed, with Jin Ling’s head in his lap, feeding him half the oranges he was currently peeling.
Lan Jingyi felt that this was probably the most relaxed and carefree Jin Ling had been in a long time so he continued to feed him oranges and they continued to talk about nothing of any great importance.
Some time later, heralded by a knock on the door, the other juniors came to visit to check up on Jin Ling.
They’d shared their relationship with their friends a few weeks ago, and as expected they’d been on the receiving end of teasing ever since.
It didn’t really bother either of them though; Sizhui, Zizhen and the rest didn’t do it out of malice and they were genuinely happy for them.
Although Jingyi and Sizhui had had a heart to heart on the subject afterwards and Sizhui had good naturedly reproached him for not trusting Sizhui enough to talk about his feelings for Jin Ling, even before they’d started a relationship.
It was something he’d had no excuse for except he had been far too embarrassed about having feelings for the grumpy boy who apparently hated him.
Jin Ling sat up as they were joined by everyone else, assuming a lotus position next to Jingyi.
He was fussed and cooed over by the others and honestly he looked a little overwhelmed by the attention.
He proudly showed off his injuries, however, and they all swapped excited stories of their own adventures and near brushes with disaster during the recent night hunt.
As was quite usual for them they chatted into the night, pausing only to order the evening meal.
The Lan disciples conveniently forgot their clan rule of silent mealtimes when they were out on night hunts together with their friends, and they joined in all the laughter and talking over dinner.
The one thing they couldn’t control however was their bodies’ conditioned adherence to the schedule of sleep by nine wake by five as there weren’t any adrenaline filled adventures occurring to counteract it. Yawns began to spawn around the room and the merriment wound down.
Jin Ling and Lan Jingyi were soon the last two left thanks to the not so subtle manoeuvring of the rest.
“So obvious” Jin Ling groused but he still moved over to wrap his arms around Jingyi and hug him close. Jingyi had noticed he’d still paused briefly before making his way over; it took effort for Jin Ling to overcome his natural temperament but he was trying.
“I don’t mind” Jingyi laughed and leaned in slightly to rub his nose against Jin Ling’s.
There was a flash of disappointment cross Jin Ling’s face but it vanished quickly, and Jingyi didn’t question it.
“I don’t mind either, but they’re still obvious” Jin Ling told him with a mocking curl to his lips. “You should go, you’ll be falling asleep on your feet soon if not, and if you do I’ll leave you on the floor”
“I believe you” Jingyi responded, squeezing him once, half in censure half in comfort, “Get some rest” and he went to join Sizhui in their inn room.
***
As was to be expected the Lan disciples were the first up the next morning, they had woken, breakfasted and were practising sword drills in the inn garden before any of the others began to put in their morning appearances.
As the night hunt was over everyone would start making the journeys back to their own sects later that day, but obviously no one wanted to leave without saying goodbye to the others. Their group had been through quite a lot together ever since Yi City when Hanguang-jun and Senior Wei had saved them, and it had made for close bonds between those juniors who’d been involved. Especially once they had become more used to Jin Ling’s personality quirks (the temper) and stopped taking his words at face value so much.
The fact everyone would be leaving shortly was why it was a huge surprise to Lan Jingyi that when Jin Ling joined them in the garden so did Wei Wuxian and Hanguang-jun. From Jin Ling’s look of surprise their arrival at the same time hadn’t been planned.
The Lan Sect disciples all stopped their sword drills to salute the new arrivals.
Wei Wuxian had an unusually stern look on his face and he didn’t wait long for the niceties to be over before he asked Jingyi and Jin Ling to come with him.
Jingyi could see Jin Ling wanted to argue but Wei Wuxian didn’t pause long enough to let him.
“Which are your rooms?” Wei Wuxian asked as they climbed the stairs and they pointed out either door. Wei Wuxian entered the first room.
***
Jin Ling was prepared for a battle. It didn’t take a genius to work out what Wei Wuxian wanted to talk about having demanded both his and Jingyi’s presence.
Subconsciously they’d moved to stand shoulder to shoulder in front of Wei Wuxian, almost close enough that their fingers brushed.
“You were wounded in the night hunt?” Jin Ling started, honestly he hadn’t expected that  to be Wei Wuxian’s opening gambit.
“A little. It’s fine” Jin Ling dismissed, “I’m almost fully healed already”
Wei Wuxian looked at him for a few more seconds as if judging whether he was speaking the truth or not before deflating and letting out a sigh of relief.
“Good” he nodded, folding his arms across his chest. Then, just as Jin Ling thought he hadn’t had any ulterior motive in demanding both of them be there, “So, you’ve finally told people?”
Jin Ling straightened defensively, “So what? It’s not your business” and his chin went up in defiance.
“Jin Ling, I’m your double uncle, I gave you your courtesy name, show me some respect” Wei Wuxian rolled his eyes.
“You can’t just make up types of relatives, double uncle” Jingyi mocked with a snort.
“I am too” Wei Wuxian poked Jingyi in the chest with the end of Chenqing, “I’m his mother’s adopted brother on one side, and this body is half brother to his father. I’m his double uncle. The best kind of uncle I might add” he folded his arms again, Chenqing’s tassel swaying in the air. “Anyway, I don’t need to tell you what will happen if you hurt my nephew” he threatened Jingyi good humouredly, not that Jin Ling didn’t think for a second he wouldn’t lose all good humour if Jingyi did hurt him.
It was odd really, whilst he resented his so-called double uncle sticking his oar into his business it was also quite nice to have someone express concern over his welfare like that. He didn’t doubt his jiujiu was also concerned about him, but Jiang Cheng was so  abrasive about it his concern was like a double edged sword.
Ironically it was his surly uncle he most took after in temperament. He was lucky Jingyi was willing to even entertain a relationship with him if he was half as difficult to deal with the Jiang Sect head.
“Oh, I should probably have told you this first, but Jiang Cheng is on his way to give you the same talks. Probably with a lot more broken bones though” Wei Wuxian said cheerfully as he headed for the door.
***
Logically Lan Jingyi had known he’d have to deal with the uncles from hell sooner or later; they were Jin Ling’s family and cared deeply for him. What he hadn’t expected was it to be so soon, before he’d even had chance to discuss strategy with Jin Ling, and for them to be lining up outside the door taking turns one after the other.
As the door shut behind Wei Wuxian he turned to Jin Ling with a look of panic.
“I’m dead” he exclaimed.
Jin Ling took his hand and squeezed, “This changes nothing, does it? He was always going to hear about it sooner or later. Might as well deal with it all together and get it out of the way”
There was pure sense in what Jin Ling said. It didn’t make Lan Jingyi feel any less apprehensive.
Really, he had to fall for the boy with the scariest uncles in the world. One was the Yiling Patriarch, once thought of as the most evil villain of his generation, and the other the extremely bad tempered Sandu Shengshou, a fierce sect leader with a reputation for cruelty.
Then Jingyi looked at Jin Ling, who was looking back at him worriedly.
Sad he might have to mourn a boyfriend when his uncle killed Jingyi dead?
But no, that was uncharitable and he was glad he hadn’t voiced it; none of this was Jin Ling’s fault. He couldn’t help who his family were, and they’d managed to ruin enough of his life between them so far.
Jingyi smiled at him and returned the squeeze of the hand in his.
***
Jin Ling could taste the sour tone of panic on his tongue, almost sure Lan Jingyi was reconsidering their relationship; who wouldn’t with a set of crazy uncles like his? Running around making threats and acting like a gang of thugs.
He was going to have some strong things to say to them both if they spoiled this for him. Finding out Jingyi loved him in return was the best thing that had ever happened to Jin Ling and despite the fact they’d had to take advantage of every second they could eke out to spend together, it had been the happiest time of his life.
Jingyi managed to make him feel safe and loved at a time in his life when he had very little of either available to him.
And he’d actually thought Jingyi was going to kiss him last night and his heart had nearly stopped beating in his chest; sadly he’d been mistaken.
And now his uncles managed to stomp in and trample all over his feelings and the boy he loved, and the boy he loved was probably having second, third and fourth thoughts over whether a Jin Ling who was going to be very hard work without any external influences was even worth it.
He could feel the need to beg Jingyi to just stay with him rising up his throat.
And then Jingyi smiled into his eyes, and Jin Ling’s world stopped.
“I don’t care who your stupid uncles are Jin Ling, they aren’t you, and you are worth it. I like you so much it doesn’t even matter, let every uncle in the world come, we’ll deal with them together”
Jin Ling thought his heart would explode in his chest at the surge of emotion Jingyi’s words caused. He launched himself at the other, arms around his neck and pressed his lips against Jingyi’s in an awkward, clumsy but heartfelt first kiss, sparked by the sweetest words he’d ever heard.

Yiling! LWJ drunk ofc lmao
“Arms,” says Jiang Sizhui.
“Two,” says Jin Rulan.
“Legs.”
“Two.”
“Torso.”
“Here.”
“We’re just missing the head, right?” asks Lan Jingyi.
“That gravedigger that was trying to steal the other body parts might know where it is,” reasons Wei Wuxian. “But where the gravedigger is, well, that’s another question.”
“Coward,” mutters Jin Rulan. “Won’t show his face or his sword.” Still, his hands are gentle as he places the body parts back into their bags. Wei Wuxian shakes his head.
“Not showing their face or sword means they’re from a fairly well-known sect, and they know what they’re doing is wrong.” He looks over to where Lan Wangji is silently walking beside Lil Apple, neither of them even acknowledging the presence of the other. “Do we know anyone from a major sect who might be up to no good?”
“Oh, sure, plenty,” says Lan Jingyi, also looking over at Lan Wangji. Wei Wuxian laughs.
“People besides Lan Zhan,” he amends. Lan Jingyi harrumphs.
They stop for the night at a well-lit inn on the road back to Yunmeng. The three juniors take up a room downstairs, while Wei Wuxian gets a room next to them. The innkeeper brings him his food alongside a small jar of wine, which Wei Wuxian immediately pours into a small ceramic cup.
He then hears a knocking at his window, and ventures to the frame to see Lan Wangji peering in from the back, topaz eyes inquisitive. Wei Wuxian grins as he lets him in; the evening has brightened considerably.
“Lan Zhan, I can’t believe you’d really try to sneak in my window like this,” he teases, as Lan Wangji dusts off his black and red robes. “So delinquent of you. I bet if your younger self at the Cloud Recesses saw you now he’d have a fit and expire on the spot.”
Lan Wangji snorts, but says nothing. Wei Wuxian pulls up another cushion at the table for him to sit, before pushing the cup of wine towards him. “Here. You deserve some, for a job well done in Yi City.”
Lan Wangji stares at the cup almost as if he doesn’t know what to do with it. Wei Wuxian laughs.
“It’s just a little wine,” he coaxes “You haven’t lived at the Cloud Recesses for almost fifteen years now, so don’t pull the ‘liquor is forbidden’ stuff with me. Try a little!”
“I…” begins Lan Wangji. His brows furrow slightly, before he finally reaches out and downs the cup in one go.
“Oh, wow, I didn’t mean drink it that fast,” protests Wei Wuxian, but Lan Wangji is already putting his head down in his arms, yawning. “And already tired, just from one little bit? Your tolerance is weaker than I thought.”
“Shh,” mutters Lan Wangji, closing his eyes. A small snore escapes him moments later. Wei Wuxian laughs so hard his stomach hurts.
“This is really something,” he says, reaching out to tuck a stray strand of Lan Wangji’s hair behind his flushed pink ears. “The great Hanguang-jun, laid low by drink. Who’d have thought you’d just immediately go to sleep?”
He finishes his dinner and the rest of the wine before getting ready for bed, but just as he about to shrug out of his outer robes, he feels a tug at his sleeve. When he turns, Lan Wangji is there, staring straight at him with slightly unfocused eyes.
“Lan Zhan!” exclaims Wei Wuxian, putting his robes back on. “Are you – your eyes look strange, Lan-er-gege. Is it the alcohol?”
“Mm,” Lan Wangji mumbles, taking Wei Wuxian’s hand and leaning his head on his shoulder. Wei Wuxian’s pathetic little heart skips a beat.
He had asked Lan Wangji to stay by his side, sealing the promise made at the crossroads with a kiss. Of course Lan Wangji would take the promise to heart; his word had always been his bond. Wei Wuxian’s not exactly sure why he’s so surprised.
“Silly Lan Zhan,” teases Wei Wuxian, as Lan Wangji presses soft, sloppy kisses against his shoulder. His touch feels like home, right in a way that Wei Wuxian can’t quite place. It’s as if the rest of the world is only bright and vibrant as long as Lan Wangji is there with him.
“Mm,” agrees Lan Wangji, one hand moving up to his hair. The old faded Gusu hair ribbon comes undone in one tug. To Wei Wuxian’s amusement and slight consternation, Lan Wangji starts to wrap both of his wrists with it, finally tying through the loops to form a set of cuffs with a lead. His fingers are a little too dextrous with it – the thought of him practicing this at all makes a shiver of heat trickle down Wei Wuxian’s spine.
Just as Lan Wangji steps back to admire his handiwork, the door to the room opens and Jiang Sizhui pokes his head in. “Senior Wei, I had a question about –” he begins, but cuts off at the sight before him: Wei Wuxian tied up with Lan Wangji’s ribbon, his robes falling off his shoulders to expose his undergarments; and Lan Wangji, looking more than a little smug.
“Sizhui!” squeaks Wei Wuxian.
“Pardon me,” says Sizhui immediately, stepping back out of the room. Wei Wuxian’s own cheeks are burning, but Lan Wangji still seems serenely unflappable.
“You’re not upset Sizhui caught us?” Wei Wuxian wonders, before he remembers that Lan Wangji is still somewhat drunk. “Oh, right. I should ask you about it in the morning.” He pauses, chuckles. “I imagine sober you is going to hate me for it, though.”
“Nn,” replies Lan Wangji, and tugs hims closer by his newly-created cuffs. He bumps their foreheads together, one hand falling to Wei Wuxian’s hips. Wei Wuxian shivers a little, as Lan Wangji’s fingers ghost just above his undergarments.
The last time Lan Wangji had done that – no, it doesn’t bear remembering, as everything in Yiling has its own bittersweet tinge to it. What matters is that they’re together again, in a little inn room with a tiny bed, and the way Lan Wangji ties his wrists to the bed rails is causing anticipation to curl tighter in Wei Wuxian’s gut.
“Lan Zhan?” he asks, as Lan Wangji’s fingers trace the bumps of his collarbone, “Maybe we should wait for you to sober up first. Not that I’m not enjoying this, but I want you to remember it, too.”
Lan Wangji’s hands freeze. “Mm,” he concedes, before removing his hands from their close proximity to Wei Wuxian’s skin. Wei Wuxian regrets it almost as soon as Lan Wangji’s hands leave, but he resolutely says nothing about it, only angles his lips for another kiss.
“Sober,” promises Lan Wangji, before leaning in to kiss him again. Just like always, his touch feels like coming home.

MDZS ch.84 again because i had a mental breakdown and it was getting too long sorry
Inside the cabin, Lan WangJi looked up at the door that the juniors closed as they barged out. He then looked down at Wei WuXian, whose head had tilted to the side again. Wrinkling his brows once more, Wei WuXian turned his head left and right, as though he was feeling really uncomfortable. Seeing this, Lan WangJi stood up, walked over to bolt the door, and sat back down beside Wei WuXian again. He held up his shoulders and gently let him lean in his arms.
bless cuteness, this is what i needed. BLESS. THANK YOU. LWJ BEST HUSBAND IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. that locking the door and taKING HIM IN HIS ARMS I’M CRYING... :3
EDIT:
Shifting against his chest, he finally found the best position to sleep in. Watching him relax again, Lan WangJi looked down, gazing at the features of the person within his arms.

EDIT 3: WWX YOU ARE EVIL. E V I L
However, Wei WuXian was trying so hard to hold back his laughter that he almost suffered an internal injury. Back then, there was indeed a moment when he really wanted to fall asleep, but he wasn’t so weak that he’d faint just like that. However, just as he wavered the slightest, Lan WangJi picked him up as fast as possible. Wei WuXian didn’t even have the face to open his eyes and say hey, there was no need to do this, he could stand up on his own. On top of that, he didn’t want to be put back down either. If he could be carried, why should he stand?
(HE IS SO SMART AND DEVIOUS I LOVE HIM TO DEATH)
Wei WuXian touched his neck. In silence, he gloated as he regretted, Lan Zhan, he really… If only I knew, I wouldn’t have woken up. If I remained unconscious, I’d be able to lie in his arms for the entire journey!
(dropigkèpeokphol DON’T WORRY BABE JUST MARRY HIM AND YOU CAN HUG HIM ALL YOU WANT-)
EDIT 4:
Lan SiZhui spoke up, “Mr. Wen, let me keep you company.”
(HE IS SO PURE. SO PURE.)
Wen Ning, “You’ll keep me company?” He was quite happy, having never expected this.
Lan SiZhui smiled, “Yeah. The seniors are going inside to discuss important matters anyways. There is not much need for me to be present. Let us keep chatting. Where were we again? Did Senior Wei really plant a two-year-old child in the soil like a radish before?”

Semester 1 - January 2017.
Hey readers! Welcome back to my blog. As your read this post, I’m already in my Semester 2 now, but before delay any longer and let all the old memories becoming a history, I want to share my personal experience in detail for you all. Which I did mention in my previous blogpost that I’ll write one regarding on my current Physiotherapy course. Let’s start. It was a decision made on last Christmas, 2016. Without being procrastinate, I just did it by enrolling myself into Physiotherapy course in INTI, Nilai. I remembered I was in a dilemma between doing psychology, or physiotherapy. As for law, it has been disqualified long ago. I’m glad that I did not choose that path because as soon as I realised the life of a law student, it wasn’t any of my passion. However, choosing physiotherapy wasn’t my super-confirm choice too. It was a result of “elimination” on all the tertiary courses that are available. So, I will encourage you not to be too worry or concern over what you want to study for your UNI level, I’ve only decide mine two weeks before class commence. I meant that you don’t need to stress and be confirmed of what you want to pursue, but just putting options and choices on the table is the first step. Sooner then, you’ll find favour and somehow everything just falls into place. I couldn’t find any best word to describe my semester 1, Physio in Nilai except being grateful. I’m really thankful for all that happened and I’m so blessed to be in such place, meeting the right company of friends, learn new things, strive for studies, grow under pressure and do life together. Firstly, I want to share about my group of friends. We have 16 in total. I’ve actually written in one of my old blogpost, the starting was “Let’s start talking on my degree course-mates that I met in INTI, I’m sure a lot of people have been wondering how it goes. For this first January Intake, there’s only 16 of us in Physiotherapy course. Surprisingly, it’s an odd to know that guys’ population are greater than girls who take this course for our batch. In addition to that, God’s favour is upon us. We are known to be the closest 1st Semester batch ever. It was last Tuesday, we had our very first class day trip down to Subang as an early celebration of CNY before we all head back our hometown. It was a great bonding day and eventually that outing pulled us closer to one another. I have a good feeling that we’ll be able to pull it through for the remaining 4 years of journey studying together. Be it for the great, worst or challenging moment, we’ll stay and fight to be one. I’m looking forward to greater things ahead and definitely create more memories along the way.” To continue the above story on my beloved fellow course-mates, our friendship became stronger and closer when we have planned multiple -outings, the “CNY outing”, “MitSui Outlet outing”,“Mid-valley” and “After-finals Sunway outing”. All these outing have make our bond stronger and built a memorable memories to look back one day. Moreover, we did Korean Spicy Noodle Challenge, went Karaoke, Pool playing with Bobby. Towards the end of semester, when we have some free time before finals, we somehow went Cyber café with the guys for counter strike game. For the girls of my course, we actually had two times of sleepover at Yong Jing’s house. Not forgetting one night in my room, where we had three of us squeezing in a single bed. As for our guys of my course, most of them are quite sporting and active, Wey Loc as our captain for previous sports meet has continued his role and started out a work-out plan, “Say-No-More” challenge to keep our body healthy and ensuring a productive time in Nilai. I’m really grateful to be placed in this batch of semester as the size of our class is just nice and easier to bond together. We even came out with our own short film within this semester, “Kisah Tenabi”. The purpose of this film is to serve our MPU assignment marks and for entertaining purposes, it wasn't the best product which we have planned out in the beginning because of time-limit and there's some complications throughout the process. Our script was changed twice by the lecturer because of certain reasons. A big thank you to our scriptwriter, Henri Junior who finally made this story-line a success and approved by lecturer before shooting can be further progressed. However, I want to highly appreciate and give credit to the VIP, the real hero who put double the efforts in making this drama a success - Jonathan Chew. Also not forgetting everyone who has taken part in this process of filming. It was indeed a long, time-consuming and tiring process. Yet, it's worth to see that this came to past and we made it through our little short skit. As for my club activities in INTI, I joined Taekwondo, Frisbee and Physio club (compulsory) initially. As time passed by, I have stopped going Frisbee training without any reason xD. I feel guilty. However, it’s fine for me as long as I’m still continuing my taekwondo training. I’m as proud and happy as I have successfully promoted to green belt within a year. My plan is to get black belt by 2019, before I finished my studies in INTI. In Physiotherapy, it is a 4 years duration course. Three years of theoretical studies, while the remaining one year, which is the last year is for clinical posting, as a student physiotherapist trainee. Under the first semester, there are two major subjects, which are anatomy and physiology respectively. These are the fundamental knowledge and understandings that must be acquired as a health care student. I was really encouraged along the way because I managed to achieve good result by God’s grace. I even achieved an A+ for my Anatomy subject. When I said this, I’m not trying to boast or brake about, but really really, I never would have imagine to be in such place but because of God’s favor upon me throughout the period of studying and exams. Not forgetting that I was actually in rock bottom of my life last April, May until finals approach. God is gracious and good Father, He indeed has not forsaken me when I cried out for help and His divine strength during that difficult period time of my life. As for another two minor subjects, which also counted in GPA are University English and Psychology respectively. At first, I was really unhappy of the English to be part of our course structure for this Semester. All my life, I thought language subject should have ended in my high school long ago. Yet, it proceeded to my college, and now until my Uni life. I was really frustrated and upset. However, we have no choice but to just do it. It wasn’t any easy time for me because English has always and forever a challenge for me personally. The difficult part was to write 4 essays in 2 hours’ time during finals. Apart from compulsory classes, we were privileged enough to be offered extra session, guided by our seniors to reinforce our learning and revision on our studies, known as P2P. It caters to only semester 1’s newbies. Through this time of learning, we actually gained a lot of tips and advice in how to study effectively and access material resourcefully. One of my long-waited miracle, has been answered by God after 5 months, which is the cancellation of MUET requirement for 2017 students. For my church life, I have been attending Acts church for the moment. One highlight was the Fairstival Conference, where there’re varieties of electives to learn and be eyes-opened. I thank God for Carolyn in looking after me and praying for me throughout that period time. Another woman of faith is Elisha, she is like an older sister to me and just happened to live in the same block as me. She brought me out to Palm Square for movie when I was in stress and down. She was more willing to hear from me of my struggles, life problems and direct me into God’s way and His truth. I love to hear from her as she always have great insight and her living and faith in God is forever inspiring. I feel her presence is like an angel appeared to my life in supporting me which sent by God in this season of my life which I’ve asked for. To sum everything up, it has been a great journey for the past 6 months studying in Nilai. It’s an interesting one and God has showed me his assurance and favor. I’m blessed by His favor throughout the entire semester, it will not stop there. I will hold onto God’s promises and continue to live a favorable, abundant life for the next semester and toward the time that comes.
