I don't personally think hans wrote the poems in the collection of somewhat bawdy poems, I think he was bored and leafing through it one day, laughing at them, and then he got to this one

and he stopped. and it's soooo stupid but it still made his heart beat faster and his palms sweat because he's seeing this impossible thing he has no words for that he's been keeping so close to his chest and even if it's just a four-line joke, it feels a little less impossible

Family

Sir Brunor le Noir is a young knight nicknamed La Cote Mal Taile by Sir Kay after his arrival in his murdered father's mangled armour and surcoat at King Arthur's court. He should not be confused with his father, also named Brunor the Black but better known as The Good Knight Without Fear. His elder brother is always Sir Dinadan, a cynical knight, and sometimes Sir Daniel, a scurrilous knight.

i'm running late on getting this out, but i'm still reeling over the results of the @kirbyoctournament! i can't quite believe that starstruck- my pint sized waddle dee- made it all the way to the tippy-top against such intense competition. the roster was full of such an incredible selection of wonderful, loveable, and creative characters!

it's heart-warming to know that people out there really love my little wanya and her story, and i'll carry that with me always! 🥰💖

i am so grateful to everybody who voted for and supported starstruck (and i!) throughout the tournament, and i'd also like to give my thanks to everybody- moderators, participants, spectators- who made this community event as cool and fun as it was!! i met many new people and learned about so many wonderful new characters!

this piece in particular is dedicated to and features all of starstruck's competitors in the tourney, starting with jakkle doo from round one, right up to valfrey in the final round. it was a fantastic honour to compete against all of your OCs, and i look forward to hopefully seeing them around plenty more in the future!!

A cast of characters I put together for fun over the course of like a week. The setting is supposed to be some kind of generic medieval fantasy. I tried to be as historical as I could with the clothes and armor, but didn't hold myself to a strict time period or location and instead went with a vague "European middle ages".

While I personally am fond of the whole grimdark fantasy thing, I love how colorful the real middle ages could be and I wanted to be sure I was sticking to that as closely as I could manage.

Hornet’s Strange Adventures - Choice 3

(Game 2)

Previous choice: keep going left

Hornet decides she will keep going left.

She continues to walk in that direction, but is suddenly stopped. The ground…it’s! It’s rumbling beneath her!! She stumbles and tries to regain her footing but directly underneath her the ground begins to crack!

Before she can move, the crack grows bigger until it opens up, and she ends up falling into it

…

Hornet doesn’t remember hitting the ground. But instead she finds herself waking up on the ground confused and dazed. She tries to regain her focus for a second.

When she comes to her senses, she stands up and realizes almost immediately where she is.

It’s Dirtmouth.

Hornet looks around, still a bit confused and sees two bugs are present in the town. An older looking bug with a concerned look next to the bench, and a bug with a blueish hood further at the edge of town.
