Kristi's fiancee was originally supposed to be a man but Chloe was like, nope, Kristi's gonna have a woman fiancee. The show showed Kristi and Kenny's story in season 1 to make us root for them. I think whether Kristi's fiancee(e) was a man or woman, it was always going to end the same with Kristi and Kenny being the slow burn couple.

Ooo I have a theory! Remember when Kenny was telling Father K about how his dad wandered out of the house? And then Mama Liu got mad at her husband for doing that because he 'knows better' and then Kenny told her, "Mom, he has dementia. He's not trying to fucking piss you off."

I could potentially see Kristi opening a door or window when high and Kristi getting mad at her for it. But Mari isn't opening the door to piss her off, she's an addict. She needs help.

Oh, that's interesting, that it came from her. And it's a cool change, I'm always in favor of going away from the "default", as it were, but I think you still need to be mindful of what the changes represent.

Sadly too often, the new character's just there be a plot device, so then it kind of sucks that sometimes, for example, the only lesbian or Black character is there to be be an obstacle for someone else's romance. And it's not like they have to be the winner or whatever in every love triangle, but they should have their own agency and motivations. And you know, a well-written character should have their background reflected in them. It doesn't have to be in huge ways or all bad things or all good things, it's simply a fact of life that we go through different things. Like in San Junipero, a pretty famous recent example where the writer decided to switch to f/f, it wasn't simply a m/f romance now with two women, their sexualities were key parts of their stories.

Though, it's also important that Kenny's Asian and there still aren't many male Asian romantic leads. Heh, it always gets messy when different kinds of rep get pitched against each other (The 100 and Supergirl war flashbacks) but I guess I just want thoughtfulness in how it's done, either way. Nobody should be just a plot device, even the whitest straightest character! And indeed, a character who only appears in the second season to be killed is a bit hmm.

Having said that, it's been a few eps since you sent this in, and since then, I don't really know that Kristi/Kenny HAVE been framed as this inevitable love story, but I don't know if anyone on this show will even get that. Both because it's a horror and anyone can die, but you notice how it tends to go up and down on characterization from one week to the next, depending on what's needed. The calmest, most rational person will be an idiot and then vice versa, it could be that Kristi's totally focused on Mari right now, and then next season realizing she's in love with Kenny or whatever.

Sorry I waited so long to answer that we couldn't really discuss your theory about how Mari's addiction might affect things, but in last night's ep, that almost happened! She was close to opening a window!

Now, though, I wonder what'll happen. If she, Julie, and Randall are all being affected by this new thing, feels like next ep, the season finale, will be to rescue them. Julie's a main so I'd expect her to survive, but Mari and Randall are far more up in the air. :x

You sat down at colony house, looking out at the horizon, the sun had just risen, meaning the Creatures had left. You had this life for a while, you were here before the talismans, it was rough obviously, someone as young as you seeing the bodies everyday.

You sat on the roof, a joint in your hand, curtesy of Fatima obviously, as you watched the people in town. A very known habit you had.

You didn't know why you liked watching people in town, maybe you were just waiting for Victor to wake up.

You and Victor have always been close. You didn't see a creep like many, you didn't see a pervert. You saw a broken man who only needed love and social interactions.

He did grow up in this life, longer than everyone. You were eating an apple as you watched the deputy walk around town, making sure everyone was fine for the day.

You've never spoken to him, you would be lying if you said you weren't intrested in him, his dopy smile, his eyes, his attitude, his personality.

You wanted to know more.

You looked down as your mother called for you, Donna stood at the bottom, clearly irritated. You sighed before putting out the joint and grabbing a pole and sliding down before landing in front of her.

"What the fuck did I tell you about going up there?" Donna scoffed as you sighed, looking away as you crossed your arms.

"It's dangerous up there." You muttered as she nodded. She sighed before placing her hands onto your shoulder. "I know, I know. You don't want anything to happen to me, day or night."

"Okay listen, you can be a dumbass and sulk up there all day, or go to town with me for me, father Khatri and Boyd's monthly get together." Donna offered as you contemplated. You did always want to go to town, meet the people there and see how different they are to the life you have at colony house.

"Uh sure, don't got anything better to do then measure the distance of trees." You said as your mother raised her eyebrow at you, you nodded as she she just sighed and walked off, muttering under her breath as she walked off.

You followed her, looking at the houses and the people, a few walked towards the dinner as the deputy you've seen walk a route everyday left the dinner, a few boxes in his hand.

"Kenny!" Donna smiled as the man looked up, barley carrying the boxes, you grabbed one that fell from him, smiling at him as you took another one. "I believe you haven't met my daughter."

"You have a daughter?" Kenny asked Donna as she nodded. You smiled at him as he nodded and looked between the two of you. "I don't see a resemblance."

You chuckled along with him as you walks towards the post office, sorry, sheriff's office. You stood in front of Sheriff Boyd. You watched as he walked outside, opening the door and smiling at the both of you.

"Donna, you're here, with company?" Boyd glances at you and you crossed your arms and glanced back at him. "Kenny, why don't you show our guest around."

"I know what the town looks like. I was here when we used to pull patches out of the ground." You sneered and he glanced at you. Donna gave you a pointed look which made you roll your eyes as she entered.

"So, you've been here for a while? Why haven't i seen you before?" Kenny asks you as he started walking. You followed him, walking alongside him as you looked around the town you once called home.

"I like to stay at colony house, mostly in my room or with Victor." You answered as you glanced at a scrap mess of a cage in the middle of town. "What's that?"

"That's the box. Whenever someone causes a death they go in there." Kenny explained as you nodded. You walked towards the box, ignoring kenny's heys and questions as to where you were going.

You looked inside, seeing the 'cage' itself. You sighed as you looked around, no talisman, they were leading people to their deaths.

"We've never used it. I'm not supposed to tell you this, but Boyd made it to scare the townsfolk into being careful." He whispered as you sighed in relief. You continued walking with him. It was refreshing, talking to someone who wasn't high or being a complete ass.

Did you chose the wrong choice?

No, you couldn't leave your mother. You wouldn't dream of it. You liked the bond, the connection, the stability.

You walked back to the post office, joking around with Kenny and waiting for your mother who soon exited. "Cmon, we should head back."

You nodded at your mother as she started to walk off, you turned back to kenny who seemed rather disappointed. "I'll see you soon?"

Kenny smiled at the idea to see you again. He licked his lips, nodding before standing up and helping you up from the steps. "I'll see you around."

You smiled before walking off, already missing the town and missing the boys company. "He's a townie, don't forget."

"They're not that bad mom." You muttered as she turned around to face you. "I know we have bad memories, but they're like a puzzle. They connect, isn't that something nice."

"They have a box to murder people." Donna reminded but you sighed. You wanted to tell her what Kenny told you, but you knew she wouldn't believe you, or it would backfire and she'd run if to Boyd, saying how much of a lie like that would break the chain of the community he built.

"Don't tell me you want to be one of them now." Donna sneered as you sighed, you stopped walking, crossing your arms causing her to look at you. "y/n."

"I hate colony house. I have no friends. They're all assholes who want to get drunk and high! Fatima, Elis and Victor are the only tolerable people in there!" You answered. You never wanted to leave your mother, to cause a drift, you'd be lying if you said you wouldn't miss your old life with Victor.

"The moment you leave, there's no coming back. I can't bend the rules, even for you." Donna silently pleaded as you sighed. You knew that. It was why you went with her in the first place, you couldn't handle it anymore.

"They all look at me like I'm crazy." The moment you spilled that from your mouth, how you had lost your mind the first few weeks of living here. "I mean, it's a hazard, why would I stay in a place where one person's mistake could kill us all."

"The windows are nailed shut!" Donna argued as you scoffed.

"Hammers exist!" You scowled. You realised she was starting to get irritated. "Mom, just listen to me."

"Fine you wanna go there. Go." She scoffed. You sighed, shaking your head.

"You don't mean that-." Before you could finish your sentence she walked towards you, pointing her finger at you.

"Go, go run off. You'll come back crying to mommy right after it just like always." You held back the remark you were about to say, you knew she didn't mean it, you knew she was just hurt, hurt by the fact that you considered leaving.

Mothers instinct.

"Go." You sighed before walking towards your room, packing a bag. Donna was already on her way to Boyd. You knew it was against the rules to switch your area, but technically you never chose, your mother just snatched you and they never said anything because you were with your family.

You heard a knock on the door, opening it to find victor, clearly upset. "Is it true?" He whispered as you sighed. "Are you leaving?"

"I'll visit you, I promise." You tried to comfort him, he shook his head, looking at you.

"It's against the rules. Donna won't let you." He said as he clutched his lunchbox. You sighed, turning back to your bag.

"I know, but it won't stop me." You answered. He nodded beforw opening his lunchbox, taking out a drawing of the both of you. "Victor."

"I made it for you, to never forget." He answered as you smiled at the drawing.

"I'll never forget you Victor. C'mere." You held out your arms for him, taking him in for a hug. He always say you as a sister, someone to protect, someone who'd always be by his side.

You watched him walk back to his room, you sighed before closing up your bag, waiting outside at colony house to find Elis and Fatima outside, they walked towards you, clearly confused.

"We heard your leaving." Fatima announced as you nodded. Elis crossed his arms as he leaned against the railing.

"It's gonna be weird without you." Elis sighed as you nodded. You looked at Fatima as she hugged you, Elis joining in as they watched Donna walk up the trail with Boyd. "I believe that's our cue to leave."

"We'll leave the backdoor unlocked in the day." Fatima smiled at you as you chuckled before walking down to meet sheriff Boyd.

You turned to your mom who crossed her arms, clearly still upset. You sighed before hugging her as she hugged back. "I'll bend the rules a little, come visit okay?"

"Always." You whispered as she smiled. You let go as you watched her wipe a tear from her eyes.

"I'm proud of you." She whispered before you turned to the sheriff who escorted you to a house.

"Kenny will give you the rules of the town, you'll be sleeping here until we find you a place to stay." Boyd said as you nodded, you looked at the sun to see it was about to set. "Welcome to the town."

"Thanks Sheriff." You smiled as he smiled back.

"You know my residence, if you need anything, I'm here. Even if you just want lunch with me." Boyd offered as you nodded.

"I'll keep that in mind." You nodded. You looked to the side to find Kenny waiting by the window, you waved as he waved back, you entered the house, finding Kenny talking to his mother in another language.

"Uh, hi." You you muttered as Kenny turned to face you, he spoke to his mother before turning back to you, smiling as he grabbed your bags.

"I'll take you to your room for now, I heard Boyds gonna build you a house or something to live in." Kenny nodded as you nodded along, he turned to his mother, speaking to her softly in another language before walking up the stairs.

"So. Uh, you're the deputy." You looked at him as he nodded, placing you bags into a room.

"Yeah, Boyd took me in after my father uh. Tried to open the door I suppose." You nodded as you sat down on the bed, Kenny took the chair, spinning it around to sit down, his hands onto the back of the chair.

"I've seen you. On the roof of the colony house." He started as you raised your eyebrow at him.

"A stalker aye?" You giggles as he chuckled, shaking his head.

"It's hard to miss a girl dancing around on a roof." He reasoned as you nodded. He leaned in, smiling at you. "That's really cool, and you're not that bad at dancing."

"Thanks Kenny." You smiled, you turned around at the sound of a bell, looking out the window to find Boyd ringing the bell.

"Okay, breakfast is in the morning, I'll knock on your door before then. My mom serves it at the dinner." Kenny started as you nodded looking around your room as he stood up and leaned against the doorframe. "The bell indicated curfew you should be on your way home or at your house by then, and you know about the box."

"Mhm." You nodded as he sighed, he smiled at you, before turning around to go to bed. You stood up, sitting on the windowstill removing the tarp as you look out to the town. It looked peaceful, beside the Creatures walking around.

You loved the town, no matter how fucked up it was, it was refreshing.

Did you make a mistake? You looked at your door, seeing kenny pass through helping his mom get to her room as you smiled.

This is where you belong.

from (2022) really is about love, companionship and community like.... boyd repeatedly putting himself in harm's way because maybe maybe this time he will actually find a way to save everyone... tabitha and victor taking turns being brave in that tunnel so they could manage to escape... ethan deciding at first glance that victor was going to be his forever friend and following him around... fatima being out in the dark, endangering herself, calling out to complete strangers, warning them about the monsters.... ellis also being out with her, because she's the love of his life and he's not going to let her out there all alone.... donna running to find the bus with the newcomers, desperate to protect them, going as far as to shoot one of the tires of the bus.... mrs liu always making food and tea for everyone, in an attempt to offer comfort...and these are only a few examples. i can't write all of them down, because then i would have to describe in detail the entire plot of the series. but yeah.... it's about selfless acts of love, of service. being stuck in a fucked up place with a bunch of people you don't know, surrounded by death, and just. falling in love with those people. making a community, risking your life for them, protecting them, trying trying trying to find a solution for this whole mystery, so you can save those people that you love dearly. do you get it. do you.

Anyone who watches From, do we think the showers work? Like they clearly have running water and plumbing, so showers? Not out of the realm of possibility?

Also, how does the town get meat? There's not nearly enough animals shown to feed the whole town, and who butchers them? Donna? She hunts so I'm sure she knows how to prep an animal for food. Or Nathan? Speaking of, who took care of the animals/farm before Nathan and Sara if they've only been there a few months?

Furthermore, prior to Boyd and his family showing up, they didn't even have any livestock. Were they just shooting squirrels and birds? Did the Colony House greenhouse and gardens exist pre-Boyd? Where did they get the seeds for vegetables and fruit?

I need a pre-Boyd prequel to this damn show lmao

as a summarization: what the fuck

every time i get notifications on this post it's someone calling the show bad writing because "there would be no story if the characters just talked to each other" and i want to respectfully disagree. i believe the show goes to great lengths to explain why the characters don't always share all that they know with each other. so much character conflict in the show is literally about this. it would not make any sense for boyd to share all that he knows with jade of all people

boyd has military training and it is well established that he treats the town residents as civilians to protect while only sharing important information with his trusted circle (khatri, kenny, kristi), with sara when necessary and with donna. not only is this in line with him being a military officer but is also reinforced by what he has experienced so far in the town, given that everyone was completely helpless until he arrived and found the talismans. also, it is well established that acting on said information can bring terrible consequences and boyd knows this better than anyone. of course he is careful with what he shares

what i am getting at is that jade will have to earn boyd's trust if he wants to be told about the worms and the lighthouse and the dead monster and the spider and the boy in white and everything else. which makes perfect sense! i'm sure boyd is already surprised to see jade acting so normal given how hard he clowned when they first met. i am looking forward to see how their dynamic continues to develop ‼️

The end of s3 was so sad like I didn’t expect it at all. I did question why they didn’t put a talisman in the barn before but I guess if the animals were left alone before they saw no need to do so. I don’t even know how things can get worse because it’s already so hopeless. I just don’t want Donna or Fatima to die because they’re my faves. Or Kristi. Kenny idgaf tbh. He lost me last season with the attitude towards Kristi. Also Tabitha is the first character in any show who gets their genre lol she immediately clocked that she’d be locked in a psych ward and got outta there to solve it herself. Smart tbh

I imagine they never needed to because the monsters never targeted them or have gotten so insanely malicious by wanting to "play" w their prey until season two and now they're finding new ways to psychologically torture the townsfolk that was so unexpected! If Donna ever dies you can expect to hear my sobbing, though we can def expect Fatima to have some major issues this season with the possible monster baby. Or whatever shes carrying. I'm truly worried its gonna be like getting their hopes up of a "good" pregnancy only to be like sike there was never even a baby or, even sadder, the baby is a stillborn or something. I could see that absolutely crushing most of the peoples hope for anything good in the town and maybe being a last straw moment for Fatima.

And tbh the forlorn shots of Kenny whenever Kristi was w Mari were extremely funny 💀 I like Kenny, theres really not a char I hate, but it was like so 😭!!

Tabby has been my queen since the first episode so I'm very excited for her storyline in...the real world? Or wherever she is? I'm gonna be on team "shes not actually out" until proven otherwise for the insanity if it

Personally, I'm excited to see what pairings this season we get lol. So far its looking like Jim and Kenny, Jade and Boyd, and maybe Sara, Victor, Ethan, and Julie? I love how they mix it up a little every season and give chars chances to interact in new ways as their goals line up. Jim and Kenny was the oddest one to me and I'm curious how it will turn out.

🌸(fav thing/scene) — easily my favorite thing about victor is this almost childlike compassion he possesses. given what was revealed about his past, it speaks volumes that (despite the overwhelming damage that trauma has clearly caused) the kindness is almost intrinsic to him (and while he does have a handful of somewhat abrasive moments, they're few and far in between—and i don't think he realizes that's how he comes across). the two scenes which came to mind related to this are the one where he waits for tabby to come down to the tunnels: even though he was so scared, he understood that tabitha needed him, and he instinctively prioritized that, taking turns in being brave w her even though it was clearly taking a toll on him. another scene which showcases this is the one in his room with ethan, where iirc ethan attempts to apologize for going through his stuff w somebody else (i think jade??). in general he's also super good about volunteering info that could help others, even if the info may be painful. + he gives ethan his old coat. fucking melted tbh 🖍 (further exploration of character) — i think i would really like to see victor build mutual trust with more people. i think he's on a good path to achieve this with tabby (and i suppose ethan, though ethan is a young kid so im not sure if it's quite the same) and probably, to a degree, with donna. i think putting trust in other people not to hurt him is a huge obstacle for victor, and it makes him come off... the way he does. which, in turn, repels others. tldr: i just want him to have friends so badly LMFAO ♟ (hangout w character) — i think victor would benefit from vibing somewhere cozy, populated with people (who aren't from fromville) but not too crowded at the same time. and quiet. a library comes to mind, or a bookstore. now that i think on it, i think he'd have a blast going through books and gathering information on the world & everything that had happened since the 70s. i can picture him cozied up in an armchair w a blanket and tea and just going absolutely hog wild reading a computer manual or smn

🧩 (something about character that's misunderstood/overlooked) — not to be that guy but i've said it once and i'll say it again. donna is hot as fuck. donna is gilf extraordinaire. bursting at the seams with raw sexual energy. literally the model oldschool butch. although on a more serious note, i think a lot of people in our very small fandom don't really understand her 'role'. or undermine it, at the very least. i think she's cast aside as not very interesting due to the fact that she doesn't really get a turn on the mystery wagon. but like... they'd all fall apart without her. she's a social leader. sure, boyd is presented as her counterpart in this, but as the show goes on, he gets so much more on his plate that he can't keep this up. so she picks up boyd's slack too. in a community ruled by fear and uncertainty, she is THE person to look to in the terms of leadership and holding it together, the sort of lighthouse standing out in this murky fog they're all lost in. i feel like this isn't appreciated enough. 🚤 (romantic ships) — honestly?? not really. it's actually quite interesting regardless. i don't think donna ever Could have a romantic relationship, not after fromville (if she gets out). i think she would have gotten so used to managing and micromanaging everything, to being the loadbearing beam, that she simply... couldn't lean on somebody else for support (i.e. a romantic partner.) she would never be able to drop this constant feeling of responsibility for the other person, and i think that not only would this be a Lot for her, but also, her partner would probably not like the discrepancy either. i think they'd possibly interpret it as a lack of trust. but really i think our poor girl has been through too much.

also I just caught up with From (MGM), the show with a completely googleable name you know, AND here are my god awful predictions and theories that I know are wrong but still entertain:

1. When people come in groups, the youngest is picked to be 'in tune' with everything that the voices and the boy in white are. This is based on Victor and his mom, Ethan and his family, possibly Elgin and the bus and Sara with her brother. Only thing that doesn't work here is Kenny and Donna? Jade Is Up To Debate.

2. Boyd still has worms. Martin was a monster a la Boyd's spiderwife, but like, nicer. Boyd certainly did not die like he said Martin did after transferring it onto him. Boyd himself said "if you cut a worm in half they'll grow back as two" or something along those lines. Ellis might have worms too.

3. Randall will become the next deputy + he's probably setting up some kind of hunters nest

4. Elgin is Weird idk

some questions that I want answered are: what the hell is yanghkoey or however you spell it. why are the trees moving. what are those houses wrapped with in the opening. what are the monsters + will they adapt to the worms the way they adapted to the talismans. was tabitha going up the stairs of the lighthouse.

I’m not super invested in any character yet though I do Mari and Kristi a lot but yeah From does move slowly. Like it’s both urgent and wandering. I feel it would make more sense if it was a one time drop to binge?

Hmm, yeah, I do like Kristi and Mari, and faves are probably Boyd and Donna, and usually Fatima, though in the last ep she was pretty annoying, but as much as I think they're all quite distinct and fleshed out and I'm rooting for them to get out of this, I'm not as invested in them as I would be in other shows.

It could partly just be me understanding the genre and knowing anyone could die so deliberately staying distanced, but I also think the show itself flits around between them all the time and also doesn't shy away from them being irrational and unlikable. Definitely it feels sometimes like people act dumb and vague just for the sake of stretching out the suspense and plot, but it hasn't gotten egregious for me yet.

But, I think that's why it's also better not as a binge, they're intentionally keeping it this slow and drawn out and that's a large part of the appeal, wondering what's happening, speculating and theorizing. As with Yellowjackets, you don't want to know the whole story at once, aside from how binge watching puts pressure on people to watch or get spoiled for the whole thing.

okay yeah cas would be derek (closeted/even a little unaware, from a big family, feeling suffocated by how he thinks he should honor his family and his father's memory, etc).

dean would be stiles (dead mom. openly bisexual slut. cool persona but actually just so painfully nerdy underneath the bravado and charm).

sorry but sam doesn't get to be in the band. he can be jackson (getting back to his tech crew roots ayyy lol) (him and dean are still obviously gonna be brothers though).

charlie would be scott, probably (dean's best friend. mostly easy-going but willing to call him on his shit).

i am torn on who would be lydia. i want to say it's rowena but i just cannot picture her out of the gowns and in a rock band lmao. maybe it's jo. she can twirl drumsticks instead of knives.

eileen is allison. i don't know how that would work with the whole family business thing though. maybe this is how i finally work mildred into some spn fic. but eileen does fill the role of allison—someone who isn't there from the start but slots right in like she's always been part of their little found family.

victor can be danny. honestly a lot of people could be danny but i like victor so that's who i'm choosing.

hannah or even kelly would be paige. i'm leaning toward kelly for personality reasons.

donna would be erica. jody would be boyd. annddddd i don't know who would be isaac. meg, maybe? i have to think about it.

and then other crew members could include: garth, aaron, ash, pamela, gordon, etc.

unfortunately i have come to the conclusion that crowley and rowena don't really fit in this au which is devastating because i love them.

From (MGM Plus) Better Get a Season Three, Because I Have SO Many Unanswered Questions, and I doubt ANY of Them Will Be Answered by the Season 2 Finale.

A probably non-exhaustive list of remaining questions I have about the Town. 

1. Will Fatima’s baby be a normal baby or is a monster brewing inside of her? 

2. Was the corpse woman in Elgin’s dream Fatima or was it just a lady wearing a similar shirt? 

3. How was Fatima able to conceive if it was medically impossible for her to do so?  What kind of LOST magic island John Locke can walk again rigmarole is going on here?  

4. Is Sarah actually somehow connected to the town?  Or is she just nuts? 

5. Were the voices in Sarah’s head delusions or were they similar to the voices being heard over the radio? 

6. If Viktor’s sister was able to draw the tower their mother supposedly went to that means she didn’t die the same night as everyone else did.  So how did she die? 

7. Who is the boy in white and what are his motivations? 

8. Is Sarah right about the fears of the dead townspeople coming to life as monsters in the forest? 

9. What’s up with that lighthouse and the ghost kids? 

10. What’s up with the giant spiderwebs in the forest? 

11. Where did the talismans originally come from, and how do they ward off the monsters?  I know the answer is magic, but I would like a little more explanation.  

12. What was the creature that jostled Boyd’s tent around in season 1?  

13. Why are so many people hearing the music box now?  At first I thought maybe Boyd infected the others that were with him when he cut himself open that night at the medical ward.  But now people who weren’t there for that are hearing it too.  (Randall, Donna, etc.)  

14. What was up with that guy chained up in the forest that magically vanished?  What about the other two skeletons beside him?  

15. If the creatures or entities or whatever can start going Freddy Krueger on the townspeople, does that explain why there are so many weird coincidences?  They may not be in a dream, but does this mean the monsters have always had access to the dreams/memories of the people they torment? 

16. The monsters live in caves underground during the day and only come out at night.  So does this mean sunlight can hurt them?  If they could somehow trap a creature and leave it out until the sun rises would it shrivel up like a vampire? 

17. Is the “silver” bullets didn’t work, is there any use for that bile they found in Smiler’s gullet? 

18. I don’t know if I buy into the whole “It’s a giant experiment” theory, but that old lady is SUS AS HELL, and I want to know if she’s a monster of some sort or just a creepy grandma. 

19. Does Jade seeing the Civil War soldiers mean the town has existed since at least 1861 or was it just a more random hallucination? 

20. Why do the Monsters wear such old-timey clothes?  Are they former victims transformed into creatures and if so, are we ever gonna see one of the more current victims smiling outside someone’s window one day? 

21. What is that symbol Jade is seeing everywhere?  Where did it come from?  What does it mean? Is it gonna drive him insane and make him kill everyone like it did to that guy in Viktor’s time.  Or did the symbol never drive him insane and he started to (implied) murder everyone for some other reason? 

22. How was Viktor able to survive 40 years in this town without the talismans to protect him at night?  I know the guy’s kind of a wallflower, but he can’t go undetected that long that easily, right?  

23. If Elgin had dreams about the town on the bus, how far does the town’s power extend?  Did they already run into the tree, and thus were already trapped when he had the dream, or can the town send someone dreams before they arrive? 

24. Furthermore, can the town PICK who it wants to end up in it?  Because Christy’s fiancée showing up has gotta be more than just coincidence. 

25. Why have the town’s seasons been stuck in stasis forever and are only now changing? 

26. Is Viktor right that the trees are moving, and if so, what the heck does that even mean?  Is the town expanding like the universe or is it just some giant dollhouse and one of the realm entities didn’t put their toy back exactly in place? 

27. One of Viktor’s drawings is the town in a giant snow globe, and that’s gotta mean something right?

28. Were the voices over the radio even real?  Because now with Kristy and possibly Randal and definitely Julie seeing the cicadas without being asleep, shared hallucinations of the same event are confirmed within the show.  So did Jim and Donna really hear a voice or did they both just hallucinate the same thing? 

29. How are they going to deal with the lack of resources?  The food shortage?  The increasing lack of space?  If winter comes to the town, do they have enough warm clothing and firewood for everyone to stay alive? 

30. If they’re not even safe in their sleep anymore, how are thy going to survive past a couple of days?  Because staying awake is not a sustainable solution, and it doesn’t look like you can just wake someone up from the nightmare. 

31. If the song they’ve been hearing “They steal, they break, yadda yadda, stop the music” is an old nursery rhyme, does this suggest people have been able to escape the town long in the past and survive to tell stories about it?  Is this just another example of the town repurposing information it shouldn’t have access to?  

I am really invested in this show, and I would just like some answers pretty please.  <3
