nono okay sorry. sorry but can we think abt aventurine and kisses. for a sec. the further into your relationship the deeper they get, i think . at first it's just teasing, playing with your bottom lip, longing for his touch without the veil of his gloves, kisses that just miss your mouth at the very last second. he'll say it's because he just wanted to tease you, but it's actually because he isn't ready for the vulnerability of it. he thinks he doesn't deserve it. which is why i think you would need to be the one to initiate the first kiss. i think you would need to wait for his tells, though. the way those pretty, pretty eyes lock onto every syllable as you speak, or even the way when his usual teasing just halts, screeching to a stop under the pressure of his hesitancy. it is then when you need to strike— when you'll need to pull him to you to finish what he started. just a taste is all aventurine really needs, because once he gets just a bit of what he's been fantasizing about his greed will consume him.

further into the relationship i see desperate kisses....kisses that have his hands at your shoulders, pinning you in place, begging you to stay and indulge him for just a little longer. i think he's the type to only really kiss in private, too. he's a private man, afterall, and the last thing he wants is for people to see you as a something to capitalize on to get to him. that being said, going all day without what he longs for is hard. so the sweet, sugar-coated kiss can't surprise you too much, he's been staring at your lips, (at times, dragging his tongue over his own as if trying to recall what the feel of you is like) all day, eyes almost burning with their intensity.

or sweet kisses. repetitive ones, ones fit for goodbyes and "hello, how was your day"s. kisses that are supposed to be reminiscent of the very first one you shared, short and to the point, a delicate proclamation of love. but one just doesn't suffice. staccato kisses that end with your face in his ungloved hands, and his, along with his heart, in your very palms. you are his untouchable treasure— once aventurine has you he cannot get enough u_u)
