what are some things the remnants (unknowingly) inherited from their spiritual parents (AGS)
Loz: Angeal's brawn and appreciation for family, along with his appearance. Sephiroth's speed and durability. Genesis' occasional teasing qualities and a love for poetry (Loz ironically ended up being a lover of the arts).
Kadaj: Angeal's doggedness and authority. Sephiroth's natural charisma and instability. Genesis' flamboyance, appearance, and general theatrics.
Yazoo: Angeal's levelheadedness. Sephiroth's appearance and natural aloofness. Gen's tenacity and occasionally chaotic behavior.

New additions (Sephiroth x wife reader)

Sephiroth eased himself into his favorite armchair by the window, a steaming cup of coffee in hand. The morning sunlight streamed through the glass, casting a warm glow on the room. He unfolded the newspaper spread out on the small table beside him, the front page catching his attention.
As he began to read, Sephiroth allowed himself a moment of peace, savoring the calmness of the early morning hours. He always enjoyed the peace and quiet, before the little rascals woke up.
There was no laughter, no arguing, no cries, no movement, no giggles, no chatter. Nothing. Just silence.
Then a soft thump came from upstairs.
The sudden thump caused Sephiroth to pause, his focus shifting from the newspaper. He listened intently, his ears perked up, straining for any further sounds. The silence that followed seemed almost too fragile, like the calm before a storm.
Sephiroth's eyes narrowed as he placed the newspaper down on the table and rose from his armchair, his senses on high alert. Even though the sound was faint, it was enough to rouse his curiosity and concern. He took a final sip of his coffee, then set the cup down before making his way toward the stairs leading up to the next floor.
Pacing back and forth outside the bathroom door was none other than Kadaj. The 4 year old looked worried, and was mumbling something under his breath, his fists clenched. As Sephiroth approached, the sight of Kadaj pacing back and forth immediately caught his attention. The 4 year old's worried expression and clenched fists sent a pang of concern through Sephiroth. He could faintly hear Kadaj mumbling something under his breath, though the words were too quiet for him to make out.
He knelt down beside Kadaj, his voice gentle as he spoke, "What's wrong, Kadaj?"
Kadaj flinched and whirled around when his father's voice reached him. He relaxed when he realized it was just his dad. "Mama's throwing up," Kadaj said, looking slightly worried again.
Sephiroth's brow furrowed as he heard Kadaj's words. Worry and concern flashed across his features, his attention now completely focused on the situation.
"Has she been sick for long?" he asked, his voice holding a note of worry. Sephiroth couldn't help but feel a pang of concern for his wife.
Kadaj nodded, the worry and concern clear on his little face. "She's been doing it for a few days now," he said. "She just got up suddenly and ran to the bathroom."
Sephiroth's expression darkened at Kadaj's words, his concern growing. A few days? Why had she not informed him sooner? He clenched his jaw slightly, trying to keep his worry under control.
"I'll go check on her," Sephiroth replied, his tone firm but gentle. "Wait here."
Kadaj nodded and stopped pacing, standing nervously outside the bathroom door. The sound of vomiting reached his ears again, his face scrunching up with concern.
Sephiroth entered the bathroom and found (Y/n) on her knees in front of the toilet, heaving.
Sephiroth's heart ached at the sight of his wife on her knees in front of the toilet, heaving and clearly ill. He rushed to her side, crouching down beside her. His hand reached out to gently push her hair away from her face, his touch filled with a mixture of worry and tenderness.
"(Y/n)," he said, his voice laced with concern. "Why didn't you tell me you've been feeling unwell?"
(Y/n), still hunched over the toilet, lifted her head weakly to look at Sephiroth. Her face was pale and her forehead was beaded with sweat. She clutched the toilet seat, trying to steady herself, and spoke in a hoarse, raspy voice.
"I... I didn't want to worry you," she said, her voice laced with weakness and vulnerability.
Sephiroth's eyes widened slightly at her response, a mixture of concern and frustration crossing his features. He knew her all-too-well, and her tendency to try and handle everything on her own, sometimes for the worse.
"(Y/n), you should know by now that I care about you," he replied, his voice firm but gentle. "You don't have to carry everything on your own. I'm your husband and I want to be here for you, especially when you're unwell."
(Y/n)'s grip on the toilet seat tightened, her knuckles turning white as another wave of nausea hit her. She closed her eyes, taking deep breaths to fight the urge to vomit, and then opened them again, looking up at him with a mixture of embarrassment and resignation.
"I know... I just don't like feeling helpless," she muttered weakly. "I don't like being a burden to you, Sephiroth. You have more important things to worry about than me feeling a little unwell."
Sephiroth's expression softened as he heard her words, his eyes filled with empathy and understanding. He reached out and gently pushed another strand of hair away from her face, his touch gentle and reassuring.
"You're not a burden, (Y/n)" he said, his voice filled with sincerity. "You're my wife, and you're important to me. Your health and well-being matter just as much as anything else."
He paused, a small hint of a smile tugging at the corner of his lips. "Besides, I can multitask."
(Y/n) managed a weak smile at his words. She leaned into his touch, seeking comfort and support.
"I know, I know you can," she said, her voice still hoarse but slightly teasing. "But seriously, Sephiroth... I've been throwing up for days now. And... and I missed my period.."
Sephiroth's expression shifted to one of surprise and concern at (Y/n)'s words. The revelation that she had missed her period coupled with her symptoms gave him pause, his mind racing with the implications.
He took a moment to process this new information, his hand still gently caressing her hair. Finally, he spoke, his voice careful.
"(Y/n)... could you be... pregnant?"
(Y/n) nodded slowly, confirming his suspicion. "I.. I think so," she said, her voice shaky with mixed emotions. "I thought I was just feeling unwell from something I ate, but I don't think so anymore. The nausea, the missed period... it all points to one possibility.."
She paused, searching his face anxiously for a reaction.
Sephiroth's heart skipped a beat as he heard her confirmation, a wave of emotions flooded through him. Surprise, shock, and a hint of anxiety. But above all, a spark of excitement and joy that he struggled to contain. He gently cupped her face with his hand, his thumb gently tracing her cheek.
"(Y/n)... are you sure? Have you taken a pregnancy test?"
(Y/n) shook her head, her eyes meeting his as she leaned into his touch.
"No, I haven't. But I know my body, Sephiroth. All the signs are there. I've been feeling nauseous consistently, my breasts are sore and sensitive, and I've been more tired than usual."
She bit her lip, her voice filled with both excitement and anxiety. "I think we should take a test, just to be sure."
Sephiroth nodded in agreement, his gaze holding hers intently. The possibility of a new addition to the family was both exhilarating and tinged with a hint of anxiety.
"You're right. We should confirm it," he said, his voice carrying a mixture of nervousness and anticipation. "I'll go get a test. Stay here and try to rest." He paused. "Are you okay with the boys staying here or do you want me to take them?"
He was referring to their three young sons, Kadaj, Yazoo and Loz.
(Y/n) winced slightly, her body still feeling weak and nauseated. She gave a shaky nod.
"Please, take the boys. I don't want them to see me like this." She took a deep breath, trying to calm her nerves. "And.. bring a few tests just to be sure.."
Sephiroth nodded, understanding her request. He didn't want the boys to see their mother in such a state either.
"Alright, I'll take the boys with me. And I'll bring a few tests, just to be thorough," he reassured her.He leaned in, gently pressing a kiss against her forehead before standing up.
"I'll return as soon as possible, my love. Try to rest and relax."
(Y/n) nodded weakly, appreciating his understanding. "Please hurry," she said softly. "I don't know if I can handle the suspense much longer. And watch the boys, you know how Kadaj can be.."
Sephiroth chuckled softly, a mix of fondness and agreement in his voice. "Don't worry, I can handle Kadaj. That boy's as stubborn as you are," he replied with a smile. "But he's got a good heart. They all do." He paused, his expression serious again.
"I'll be as quick as I can. Hang in there, my love. We'll know for sure soon enough."
Sephiroth quietly slipped out of the bathroom, closing the door behind him. The house was still and silent, the only sound coming from the occasional creak of the floorboards beneath his feet.
He made his way downstairs, finding the boys all gathered in the living room. Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz were huddled together, their faces filled with both curiosity and concern.
Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz all turned towards Sephiroth, their eyes fixed on him as he entered the living room. Kadaj, being the most outspoken of the three, was the first to speak up.
"What's going on with mom?" he asked, his arms crossed and a frown on his face.
Sephiroth approached the boys, his expression serious but gentle. He knelt down to their level, meeting their gaze with a steadiness and calm.
"Your mother isn't feeling well," he began, choosing his words carefully. "She's just a bit unwell at the moment. That's all."
He knew they were perceptive enough to sense something more, but Sephiroth didn't want to jump to conclusions before the tests were done.
Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz exchanged knowing glances, clearly sensing that there was something being untold. Kadaj, with his temper and stubbornness, was the first to press for more information.
"What do you mean by 'unwell'?" Kadaj asked, his eyes narrowing.
Sephiroth could see the determination and stubbornness in Kadaj's eyes, knowing that the boy wouldn't back down easily. He let out a soft sigh, preparing himself for the difficult conversation. "Your mother is experiencing some of the symptoms that could indicate that she's... well..." Sephiroth paused, searching for the right words. "She may be pregnant."
Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz's collective eyes widened at Sephiroth's words. The room fell silent for a moment as the boys processed the information. They exchanged glances, silently communicating their surprise and confusion.
"Pregnant?" Kadaj repeated, his voice filled with disbelief. "Mom's going to have another baby?"
Sephiroth nodded in confirmation, his expression remaining calm and firm. "That's right," he said gently. "We're not sure for certain yet, but all the signs are pointing that way."
He looked at the boys, gauging their reactions. Each of them had their unique way of processing news.
"Listen, boys," Sephiroth continued, his voice still steady. "I need to go out and buy some tests to confirm it. And I'm taking you with me so your mother can rest, alright?"
He looked at them one by one, his gaze lingering on Kadaj, ever so slightly expecting him to have some sort of problem with coming obediently.
Kadaj gave a huff, his arms still crossed as he grumbled under his breath. He was not pleased at the idea of being dragged along on a trip to buy tests.
"Do we have to go?" he complained, his foot stomping on the floor. "Can't we just wait here with mom?"
Sephiroth let out a sigh, his patience being tested as always. He knew Kadaj's stubbornness all too well, but he also knew how to deal with it.
"Yes, you do have to go," he replied firmly. "Your mother needs rest and peace. You staying here would only cause her more stress, and we don't want that, do we?"
He raised an eyebrow at Kadaj, waiting for his response.Kadaj rolled his eyes, still not happy about the situation. He knew he wasn't going to get his way in this.
"I guess not," he grudgingly admitted, his arms still crossed and a pout on his face.Yazoo and Loz, on the other hand, seemed more cooperative. They nodded their heads silently, quietly accepting that they had to come along.
Sephiroth gave a nod of approval to Yazoo and Loz, acknowledging their cooperation. He knew that the two were usually easier to deal with than Kadaj, but he was glad that they were agreeing without too much fuss.He then turned his attention back to Kadaj, his expression stern but affectionate. "Kadaj, listen to me. Your mother needs rest, as I said. So you're coming with us, end of discussion. Now go get your shoes on."
Kadaj shot Sephiroth a grumpy look, his bottom lip sticking out in a stubborn pout. But he knew there was no point in arguing with his father when he was set on something.
"Fine," he grumbled, reluctantly getting up to go get his shoes. He continued to mutter under his breath, expressing his displeasure with the situation.
Yazoo and Loz quietly snickered to themselves, finding Kadaj's stubbornness both amusing and predictable.
Sephiroth gave a small smile, both amused and exasperated by Kadaj's behavior. It was endearing, in a way. As Kadaj went to get his shoes, Sephiroth turned his attention to Yazoo and Loz.
"You guys too, get your shoes on," he said, his voice still firm but not unkind.
Yazoo and Loz immediately complied, getting up to go find their shoes. They were used to their father's authoritative tone and knew better than to argue.
As they searched for their shoes, Yazoo glanced over at Kadaj, who was still grumbling and mumbling under his breath. He couldn't help but smirk, finding his brother's attitude amusing.
Sephiroth watched as the boys went to get their shoes, his gaze lingering on Kadaj for a moment. He was used to his eldest son's stubborn streak, but he couldn't help but be both annoyed and fond of it.
After a few moments, all three boys had their shoes on, and Sephiroth decided it was time to go.
"Alright, boys," he said, his voice steady. "We're heading out. Let's go."
Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz all stood ready, their shoes now on their feet. Kadaj still had a grumpy expression on his face, but he reluctantly followed Sephiroth, knowing he had no choice.
As they walked towards the front door, the boys were soon outside, the cool air of the morning surrounding them. Kadaj continued his mumbled complaints, but Yazoo and Loz didn't pay him much mind, used to his constant need to express his displeasure at everything.
Sephiroth led the boys to their car, each step taken with a sense of purpose. He opened the car door and waited for the boys to get in.
Kadaj continued his mumbling while Yazoo and Loz quietly got into the backseat.
Once the boys were settled, Sephiroth took his place in the driver's seat and started the engine. The car purred to life, ready to take them on their way to a nearby store.
After a few minutes of driving, they finally arrived at the store. Sephiroth parked the car and turned to look at the boys.
"Alright, boys," Sephiroth said, his voice firm but gentle. "We're here. Let's go in and get what we need." He got out of the car and waited for the boys to follow.
Kadaj reluctantly unbuckled his seatbelt, his expression still grumpy. Yazoo and Loz got out of the car quickly, quietly following after Sephiroth.
As they made their way into the store, Kadaj's eyes darted around, taking in the surroundings of the unfamiliar place. Yazoo and Loz were more reserved, staying close to their father.
Sephiroth led the boys into the store, his eyes scanning the aisles as they approached the pregnancy test section. He could feel Kadaj's grumpy energy beside him, but he tried to ignore it, focusing on the task at hand.
Once they reached the correct aisle, Sephiroth stopped and looked at the boys.
"Alright, boys," he said, his voice steady. "You can wait here. I'll be right back." Without waiting for a response, Sephiroth walked a few steps away to look for the pregnancy tests.
Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz stood in the aisle, watching as Sephiroth walked away to look for the tests. Kadaj's grumpy attitude lessened for a moment as he observed his father's actions, his curiosity piqued.
Yazoo and Loz remained silent, their thoughts on their mother. They exchanged a few glances with each other, silently communicating their worries and concerns.
Kadaj then turned his attention to the items around them, his eyes skimming over the various products on the shelves.
Two old ladies looked at Sephiroth and the boys with a look of disapproval. "You would think they'd know what birth control was." One said to the other. "Or at least a condom."
Sephiroth had impeccable hearing, and he couldn't help but overhear the old lady's comment. He bristled internally, but he tried to maintain his composure. The last thing he needed was to cause a scene in the middle of a store.
Ignoring the ladies' disapproving looks, he continued to search for the tests. He knew they would have to deal with judgment from others, but his main focus was on his family.
Kadaj's confusion grew as he continued to listen to the conversation. He turned to Yazoo and Loz, his eyes wide.
"What does that mean...?" he whispered, his voice low. Both boys shrugged.
"It's something your parents should have been using, you little brat." Kadaj's innocent question was met with a harsh and insulting response from one of the old ladies.
He took a step back, stung by her words. His expression switched from confusion to hurt, his young mind unable to fully understand why the woman was being so cruel.
Yazoo and Loz looked at the lady with disdain, silently angry at her unkindness.
Sephiroth, who had been listening to the exchange, felt a wave of anger and protectiveness wash over him. He didn't tolerate anyone speaking to his sons like that. He placed the tests in his cart and stepped towards the old ladies.
"Excuse me," he said, his voice cold and controlled. "Watch your tongue when you're talking to my children."
The old ladies were taken aback by Sephiroth's sudden interjection, their expressions shifting from smugness to slight nervousness.
"Oh, I'm just saying what everyone is thinking," the first lady said. "It's not everyday you see someone with so many kids without much of a gap between them."
"Exactly," the second lady added, nodding her head in agreement. "It's quite irresponsible, really."
Sephiroth's jaw clenched tight. He was doing his best to restrain himself, but the old ladies' words were testing his patience.
"They're triplets," he said through gritted teeth. "I don't need your unsolicited advice on how many children I should have. I suggest you keep your opinions to yourselves."
The old ladies exchanged a quick glance, their confidence faltering momentarily.
"Well, regardless," the first lady said, regaining her composure. "It's still a lot of children for one pair of parents to handle. You should really think about birth control."
The second lady nodded in agreement, her sharp eyes fixed on Sephiroth. "I agree."
Sephiroth's anger flared even more, but he forced himself to keep his voice steady.
"Again," he said, his tone firm. "I don't need your unsolicited advice on how I should raise my family. My wife and I are more than capable of handling our children, and we don't need your input." He turned to the boys, gesturing for them to follow him. "Let's go, boys. We're done here."
The old ladies huffed in annoyance, realizing they weren't going to win this argument. As Sephiroth turned to the boys and gestured for them to follow, Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz eagerly complied. They were more than ready to get away from the rude ladies.
As they left the aisle, Kadaj looked back over his shoulder, his young mind still trying to make sense of the conversation he just overheard. He had tears in his eyes.
Seeing Kadaj's tears and the confusion on his face, Sephiroth's anger softened, replaced by a sense of tenderness. He crouched down to Kadaj's level, placing a gentle hand on his shoulder.
"Hey, Kadaj," he said softly, his tone gentle. "Are you okay?"
Kadaj sniffled, rubbing at his eyes with the back of his hand. He looked up at Sephiroth, his green eyes watery and his bottom lip trembling. "I don't understand..." he said, his voice small and confused. "What did those ladies mean?"
Sephiroth sighed gently, his expression a mix of understanding and empathy. He knew this wasn't going to be an easy conversation to have with a child, but he sure as hell wasn't going to tell his 4 year old.
"Kadaj, those ladies were talking about something only adults talk about," he began, his tone as gentle as possible. "It's not something for you to worry about."
Kadaj looked up at Sephiroth, his young mind not fully satisfied with the answer, but he knew better than to press the issue. "Okay" he sighed, his voice still small and sad. "Those ladies were mean."
Yazoo and Loz, who had been quietly observing the exchange, were both equally upset by what those ladies at said... even if they didn't understand it. "Super mean." Loz mumbled, and Yazoo nodded.
Sephiroth's expression darkened again as he recalled the old ladies' harsh words. "Yes, they were, boys," he said, his tone serious. "But sometimes, you'll encounter people in the world who are unkind and judgemental. Just remember that it's more of a reflection on them than it is on you."
He paused for a moment, looking at Yazoo and Loz, seeing their upset expressions, which only fueled his anger further. "Come on, let's pay and go home.
"Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz nodded in agreement, their thoughts still lingering on the harsh words from the old ladies. They silently followed Sephiroth to the car.
Once they reached the car, Sephiroth unlocked it, and they all climbed in. As Sephiroth started the engine, he glanced at the boys in the rearview mirror. Their expressions were still somber, and he knew they were still affected by what happened.
"Hey, boys," he said, his tone gentle. "How about we stop by the ice cream shop and get some treats on the way home? I think a little sweetness might lift your spirits."
The boys' expressions brightened at the mention of ice cream. Their minds immediately switched from the old ladies' words to the promise of a sweet treat.
"Ice cream!" Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz exclaimed, their earlier sadness momentarily forgotten in the face of the promise of something sweet and delicious.
Little time skip.....
Sephiroth pulled the car into the garage and quickly parked. He got out of the car and went to help the boys out, making sure they were all safe and accounted for.
Once the boys were all out of the car, he led them inside the house, each one holding their ice creams. (Y/n), their mother, had been waiting for their return, a tired look on her face.
"Everything alright?" she asked, as they entered the house. "You took longer than I thought you would."
The boys shuffled inside, happily licking their treats. Kadaj had chocolate, Yazoo had strawberry, and Loz had vanilla.
At the sound of (Y/n)'s voice, Kadaj's eyes darted up, and he quickly swallowed his mouthful of ice cream before speaking. "Yeah, we're okay."
Yazoo nodded in agreement, while Loz simply continued to eat his treat.
(Y/n) looked at Sephiroth, raising an eyebrow questioningly. "Did you get them?"
Sephiroth nodded, finally remembering the reason for his trip. "Right," he said, reaching into the bag and pulling out the tests. "I got a few, just to be sure."
He placed the tests on a nearby table, the small boxes silently taunting them.
(Y/n)'s gaze shifted to the pregnancy tests, her heart hammering in her chest. The reality of their situation hit her all at once, the possibility of a life growing inside of her, a new member of their family to love and cherish.
She took a deep breath, her hands shaking slightly as she picked up one of the tests. "Let... let me go and do it," she said quietly, her voice tinged with nervousness and anticipation.
Sephiroth nodded silently, his hand reaching out and gently squeezing her arm in reassurance.
"I'll be right here," he said softly, his eyes filled with support and love. "Take your time, alright?"
After several more minutes, (Y/n) emerged from the bathroom, her face a mixture of emotions. She walked slowly towards Sephiroth.
She sat beside him on the couch, the pregnancy tests clutched in her trembling hand. She took a deep breath before speaking, her voice barely above a whisper. "I...I took all three tests, and they all came back positive. I'm pregnant, Sephiroth. We're going to have another child."
Without a word, Sephiroth pulled (Y/n) close to him, his arms wrapping around her and holding her tight. "Another one..." he whispered, his voice filled with a mixture of disbelief and happiness. "This is wonderful."
Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz, who had been lounging nearby, heard (Y/n)'s announcement and looked up from their ice creams. They stared at their parents, their little minds struggling to fully comprehend the new information.
"Another sibling?" Kadaj repeated quietly, his eyes wide.
"Yes," (Y/n) confirmed, with a gentle smile.
Yazoo simply looked at (Y/n), a mixture of surprise and excitement on his young face.
Loz was the last to speak, his voice loud and excited. "Yay new baby!!"

more people need to put text conversations in fanfics because there is nothing greater than reading a text of Kadaj saying "I kinda exploded it" because someone asked why there's a pool in the church
