My book club just finished the last book of The Lunar Chronicles, and of course I ended up with comparisons with another futuristic fantasy series I have on the brain, Yugioh 5Ds.
I managed to fit all six Signers and most of the Rampion Crew on one page of my sketchbook.  I actually haven’t drawn the Rampion Crew in a while, I had to reference some really old sketches to remember how to draw them ^^;
I put some extra comments in the clickthrough.

Lex Luger, Kevin Nash , and Miss Elizabeth, members of the nWo Wolfpack , 1998 .
May 25,1998 , after being in a longtime feud with the nWo , Lex Luger was revealed to be the newest member of the nWo Wolfpac. He played a key role in the group by going against Hollywood Hogan’s nWo Hollywood and even convinced longtime friend and nWo rival, Sting, to join the group. As a part of the group, he won his final United States Championship by defeating Bret Hart on an episode on Monday Nitro on August 10,1998. This would be his fifth and final run with the championship before losing it to Hart twenty four hours later in an episode of WCW Thunder. He also participated in the union of both factions of the nWo to go against the undefeated Goldberg in 1999. He remained a member of the group until he was out of the ring due to a bicep injury.
My Final Thoughts:
I think that it was pretty cool when Lex joined the group. I thought that he had amazing chemistry with all of his opponents in the ring and I still do every time I watch one of his matches. Being a fan of the entire nWo , I wouldn’t know which group I would’ve cheered for. I will probably have an article about the evolution of Lex Luger throughout his career coming soon!
Thanks For Reading and Love Ya All,
- Kay

Actress Candace Cameron Bure (“Full House” and “Fuller House” fame) chatted about the movie “Just in Time” and her other Great American Family films.
Eleanor Roosevelt once said: “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” A woman that embodies this quote is Candace Cameron Bure.
‘Just in Time’ movie
Most recently, she served as an executive producer of the film “Candace Cameron Presents: Just in Time,” which coincided with this year’s Easter festivities.
“I love that movie,” she exclaimed. “Laura Osnes is so fantastic, so was Peter Bryant and our writers were incredible as well.”
youtube
She noted that she is excited for her new holiday movie “A Christmas Less Traveled,” which she announced yesterday. “I am always searching for the next Christmas movie. This is a fun road trip story that we get to tell,” she foreshadowed.
“It is also quite heartwarming, so you might need to have the tissues handy for that movie,” she acknowledged.
‘A Christmas… Present’ movie with Marc Blucas
She shared that she enjoyed doing the holiday film “A Christmas… Present” with Marc Blucas. “I loved that movie,” she said. “Working with Marc was so great.”
The synopsis is: Real Estate Agent Maggie Larson and her family will be spending Christmas with her recently widowed brother, Paul, and his young daughter at their house.
Maggie is determined to give her brother and niece the best Christmas possible and to lift their spirits when they most need it. Though Maggie’s plan is to aid her brother, his faith and parenting style ultimately helps her to understand issues within her own life and a need for closeness in her own family.
youtube
Working with director Lesley Demetriades
She also had great words about working with female director Lesley Demetriades on “A Christmas… Present.” “I have had a career filled with so many wonderful people, and Lesley was certainly one of them,” she said. “Lesley is a wonderful director, and she is so kind.”
“As a producer and a lead actress, I am always trying to create the best environment on set,” she said.
“I get the privilege of working with incredible people, and I get to put those teams together. I enjoy everyone in my film so very much, and it is always great to work with new faces and I also get to work with a lot of familiar faces behind the scenes,” she elaborated.
She also had great words about Emmy nominee Randy Wayne, who served as a supervising producer on that film. “Randy is great,” she admitted.
‘My Christmas Hero’ film
An equally enjoyable movie for her was “My Christmas Hero,” where she worked alongside Gabriel Hogan. It was a film about military appreciation and meaningful relationships. “That one was wonderful,” she said.
youtube
The digital age
On being an actress in the digital age, she said, “It is wonderful since there are so many ways to watch film and television today. Digital is taking things to a whole new level, and it is great because there are more ways to watch.”
‘Unsung Hero’
Bure also stars in the upcoming movie “Unsung Hero,” where she also served as an executive producer. The cast includes Joel Smallbone, Daisy Betts, Kirrilee Berger, and Jonathan Jackson. Bure plays the role of Kay Albright.
youtube
Great American Family
Bure serves as the Chief Creative Officer (CCO) of Great American Family network. She is also a lead actress and executive producer on many of the films.
“It has been wonderful,” she admitted about being a part of Great American Family. “I am so proud to be a part of the channel and be a part of the whole process as the Chief Creative Officer of Great American Family. It has really been a beautiful step in my career,” she acknowledged.
“I love bringing family movies to all the viewers at home,” she added.
Mario Lopez joining ‘Great American Family’
Most recently, she is thrilled to welcome Mario Lopez (“Access Hollywood” and “Saved By the Bell”) and his wife, Courtney, on Great American Family. “We are so excited and proud to have Mario and Courtney on Great American Family,” she exclaimed.
“Everyone is going to be a part of that,” she said about the upcoming Great American Christmas movies later on this year.
“We keep building bigger and better lineups, so we are excited for this coming Christmas season,” she acknowledged.
Danica McKellar on Great American Family

Advice for young and aspiring actors
For young and aspiring actors, she said, “Learn your craft well. Keep practicing and take lessons or classes whether that’s in theatre, or privately, or in school. Just keep working at it. I’ve been in the business for a really long time, and I am still trying to be better and better every day, and learn my craft better, and the nuances of it.”
“I would tell young actors to keep doing it and to keep practicing,” she added.
90s Con
Bure recalled being a part of the 90s Con fan events in Connecticut, which are produced by That’s 4 Entertainment.
“90s Con is so much fun,” she said. “I was sorry to have missed it this year, but they have been really fun events. I’ve gotten the chance to meet so many wonderful people there, and families. I enjoy them very much.”
Stage of her life
On the title of the current chapter of her life, Bure said with a sweet laugh, “Hustle.” “I feel like that’s all I’ve been doing. I’m hustling and I’m working really hard.”
Matthew West
Bure had great words about Christian music singer-songwriter Matthew West. “I love Matthew [West] so much,” she exclaimed. “It is always a joy to be on his podcast. He is one of my favorite musical artists. Matthew is the voice of the Great American Family channel during Christmastime.”
Superpower of choice
If Bure were to have any superpower, it would be “to teleport.” “Then, I could be in any place at any time, especially since I do a lot of traveling,” she said. “So, I think that would be a great superpower.”
Career-defining moment: Playing DJ Tanner in ‘Full House’
Bure noted that her biggest defining moment is “Full House.” “That’s what put me on the map,” she said. “It’s what everyone mostly knows me from; they know me as DJ Tanner, and that will always be such a huge part of my life and my career.”
Best advice she was ever given: ‘Be Yourself’
On the best advice that she was ever given, she revealed: “to be yourself.” “Just be yourself; my mom told me that all the time,” she said. “Don’t try to be anyone else or something that you are not.”
Alternate career choice: Fashion
If she weren’t in the entertainment business, her alternate career would have been in “fashion.” “I just love fashion,” she admitted.
Success
On her definition of the word success, Bure said, “Success, to me, is having a wonderful relationship with my family and with God.”

From Bohemian Industries
“ Teela (Emily Ashby), a heroic warrior of Eternia, protects the Sword of Power from three wanderers in an action packed fight to claim its power for themselves. This film was created as a one-of-a-kind self-tape audition by actress Emily Ashby and the filmmakers for the role of Teela in the announced "Masters of the Universe" film. To that end, the film isn’t a “fan film” in the traditional sense, as its original purpose and story was more of a showcase for Emily rather than an unofficial attempt at expanding the MOTU canon. Of course, we absolutely hope fans of MOTU and beyond enjoy it and take it for what it is: a rollicking good time watching a classic MOTU character kicking butt in a Hong Kong / Jackie Chan inspired piece, having fun with the fabled Power Sword! All original music featured in the film was composed by Gerrit Wunder (CW's "Stargirl," Netflix's "Slumberland") exclusively for the film. Permission to use "Heartless Madness" by Dynazty was received by the filmmakers courtesy of AFM Records. Original sound by 10 time Emmy nominee Patrick Hogan ("Cobrai Kai," "The Umbrella Academy"). Stunts by Hong Kong stunt actor and coordinator Christian "Kang" Bachini. “Teela and the Masters of the Universe” has been made without the permission of Mattel, Inc., Netflix, Inc., or Sony Pictures. This is a nonprofit, unofficial venture not made for commercial use or monetization. The characters are owned by Mattel, Inc. and the film is in no way connected to said companies. Permission to use the characters and likenesses was not pursued by the production or granted by Mattel, Inc. He-Man™ and Masters of the Universe™ are registered trademarks of Mattel, Inc.”

Do you have more OCs than Kaylee? Would love to see more of your original content, given how well-written Kaylee is.
Tumblr media
Hi nonnie! Thank you much for complimenting my girl 🥹🥹🥹 I love her so much and she has had 10 years of me mulling her over in my head off and on so I appreciate you taking time to give me some love about her. I get really nervous bringing her out because of how much she's intertwined with Tony and Carol and I know how OCs related to canon characters can be seen sometimes. But @cheeseburgersandwarbirds and I have had Starkvers for a while and Kay is just their oldest and under my direction.
As far as other OCs go, there aren't any that are as fleshed out. @ppctts Gin and I keep making up OCs to go with all of our crazy AUs. We just go off of vibes and ships xD maybe one day I'll sit down and flesh some of them out. Like Brook is a son of Pepper and Happy. There's like 3 Raylee kids, Kathan has 2 kids at this point. There's also a Hogan kid that is with someone other than Pepper. There's also kids from my one other ship with Tony which is Rumiko and Tony and they have 3 kids at this point I think but @rumxko haven't fleshed them out much either. And I'm not entirely sure which of all these OC kids are under my direction.
There's also NPCs and listen I'm terrible about bringing NPCs to life for my peeps. There's something so fun about taking a character that people have ingrained in their characters history but never get to play that dynamic with. I know I'd love to have a Zeke Stane to play against for the pain xD so that's why you see me bringing out Eros and eventually Lady Death. Even though I don't know much about them as far as canon goes so they might as well be OCs.
The other OCs will probably just be brought out as fun interactions with my group of peeps because they're just here for the vibes but if you ever want to rp with me or see interactions just let me know. If I can weave a web out of these characters and where they fit I love doing that.

I told you guys that this Wrestlemania is a romance novel…. WM 36 - In the middle of a worldwide pandemic, while the whole world was shut down, we turned it the hell up. WWE was the only form of entertainment. I flew from California to Florida every single week to put on weekly television shows (sometimes 3 different shows) in a small arena in front of ZERO people. I was the champion. And I successfully defended that title in a fatal 5 way at WM 36, then watched it “live” weeks later in my own living room. What a feeling. I’m so proud of that match for so many reasons. Never before, never again. I’ll never forget it….. WM 37 - Coming off possibly the greatest year of my career (so far), the longest reigning SD women’s champion in history. And at the first show back in front of real people, the WWE fans, I found myself without a match at the biggest show of the year. The sheep of the WWE universe didn’t take that lightly, and so I crashed the damn show. I stood up to Hulk Hogan, I crashed the commentary desk, and then I got thrown down the damn ramp and rolled for about 100 yards. Thank God Bianca and Sasha main evented that year to make history, or else I would’ve kept rolling all the way back home. Embarrassed and ashamed. Never again. I’ll never forget that feeling… WM 38 - Out with an injury for almost a year. Everything from WM 37 was still boiling inside me. For the 3rd year in a row I was missing out on performing in front of 70,000 people. I flew myself out to Dallas for WM because I couldn’t miss my best friends make history again - the bigger picture. I’ll never regret showing up for my people. Walking around backstage and seeing everyone again wasn’t as hard as I thought it was going to be until I got a text from Dakota Kai asking how I was doing. She said she knew the feeling of being out with an injury during the biggest weekend of the year so she wanted to see how I was holding up. That’s when the emotions hit. I’ll never forget that realization. WM 39 - I’m in love with the journey I’ve been on. There is absolutely NOTHING in this world like this place. I’ve felt everything…confusion, disappointment, hopeless, but above all…LOVE. I love this. Love isn’t always happy, love isn’t always kind. It’s not rainbows and butterflies and smiles and flowers. We get let down in love. We even let ourselves down in love. We’re sometimes alone in love. But damn is it all worth it to just hold on to that love. A pandemic, a let down, an injury, cannot stop my loveeeee. All of these things brought us to TOMORROW. I get to walk into Wrestlemania in front of 75,000+ people alongside two women that have walked similar paths, have felt similar feelings…..and we’re going to thank our 2 childhood heroes for inspiring us to get to this point in our lives where we can now kick their ass out of OUR RING FOR GOOD AND THEY CAN TAKE THAT IDIOT WHO THINKS HER SH*T DON’T STINK WITH THEM!!!!!!!! Ain’t nothin more romantic than that. I know, I will never forget this.

Got tagged by @accidentallylita for a 20 questions for writers thing! Thank you 💜 I'm gonna tag... @tameila, @fantasiawandering, @kabbal, @kaantt and @thisstableground - no pressure at all though.
How many works do you have on AO3?
88. But I still have 44 others over on FFnet.
What's your total AO3 word count?
659,354 (holy crap that's a lot!) and I'm way too lazy to add the FFnet numbers. The FFnet counters are a mess anyway.
What fandoms do you write for?
I have written for... Ready? Go! *deep breath* Harry Potter, Great Mouse Detective, The Mummy, Pirates of the Caribbean, Kung Fu Panda, Watchmen, Justice League, Discworld, White Collar, Hogan's Heroes, Zorro (the 1950s Disney series), Kaamelott, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the 2012 cartoon and a TMNT 2003 and 1987 crossover missing scene from Turtles Forever) , the Don Camillo stories/films, Cobra Kai, Karate Kid, The Legend Of Vox Machina, and Critical Role. Whew! And that's not counting unpublished WIPs, because then I would have to add ACD Sherlock Holmes, Jeeves and Wooster, or The Pirates! In an Adventure with Musicians Scientists :D It's mostly Critical Role and Vox Machina at the moment, though.
What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Let's see:
Villains (Justice League Unlimited, Flash's Rogues watch the finale of season 2's near apocalypse on TV in their bar, 442 kudos)
Reading the Colours (TMNT 2012, kid!Mikey having trouble learning to read and a bit of synaesthesia, and kid!Ralp being a good brother, 225 kudos)
Culture Shock (Turtles Forever (TMNT 2003 and 1987 crossover), 2003!Don and 1987!Leonardo having a conversation about danger and stakes and genre shifts, 215 kudos)
After the Sunset (The Mummy, a getting-to-know-each-other scene set just after 'The End' to tie up loose ends and explore character dynamics, 202 kudos)
Wife (Justice League Unlimited, the writers made Captain Cold (of all people XD) mention a wife so I created a character and explored her relationship with her husband and his nemesis, 168 kudos)
Aww 💜 I was kinda surprised by this list, to tell the truth!
Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
I try (oh my god do I try ♫). Currently there's still a couple in my AO3 inbox I haven't responded to yet because I like to take my time (and also I like having that little number beside my inbox on my page 😭)
What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Oh that's easy. If, a Hogan's Heroes snapshot (<800 words) where I essentially went "hey, what if [character] really had been killed in that scene?" and picture the aftermath.
What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Oh that is hard! I have comforting endings, I have peaceful/hopeful endings, I have bittersweet endings with a side of sweet... But just plain happy? I mean, Pas de Deux would end on a thoroughly good and happy note if it weren't for that pesky last sentence ("This summer 1914 is going to be the best summer"). I'd say Perfect Picture has the happiest: it's a (few years into the) future JLU fic set at a Christmas do, PoV Jimmy Olsen, that ends on him taking the titular perfect picture in the immediate wake of a very happy announcement. I love it a lot.
Do you get hate on fics?
No, thank goodness. Something of a miracle in 22+ years of writing online! My beta has, though, because some people are idiots.
Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I do, although it's a recent (ish) development! I've written three kinds of smut: loving and sometimes fumbling between two then three young people who don't a ton of (or any, in some cases) experience, quick and ill-advised between two desperate people convinced they'll die in a few hours, and cosy and warm as a means to (re)connect (two different fandoms) between middle-aged people. Love every one of them.
Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
I have! Like the aforementioned TMNT crossover (within the same franchise, bit still, two different shows and fandoms). And, well, it's not exactly crazy, but I wrote a tavern-as-an-afterlife fic in which Sergeants García and Schultz have a little conversation about their respective supposed-to-be enemies. Would that count as "crazy" if they have approximately a century and a few years between their lifetimes?
Have you ever had a fic stolen?
I don't... think so. Can't be sure. Sometimes I post fic here and I've definitely found my Tumblr accounts on those crappy Tumblr mirroring websites, so yeah, probably.
Have you ever had a fic translated?
Someone asked me once if I minded them translating one of my Don Camillo fics into Italian, to which I responded with happy flailing and "not at all, go ahead!" But I never heard back from them. OTOH, I have done the translating :D I translated a Mummy fic into French back in the day (2004) with the author's permission, and I wrote L'éléphant de Carter (Hogan's Heroes) in French then translated it into English.
Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Not really. I participated in group projects and big bangs and stuff, but I've written a fic "with four hands".
What's your all-time favorite ship?
It should be an obvious choice, because I have so few I ship actively - you know, not just "sure, I like the idea of them together". For the purposes of the question I will say Pike Trickfoot/Scanlan Shorthalt, from Campaign 1 of Critical Role/The Legend of Vox Machina (it's a slow burn with minimum pining! They both have personal growth! He pursues her but then apologises and asks if they can be friends! Each is the only one who truly sees and perceives the other on that level!). But also I really really love my one-third-canon-character-two-thirds-OCs OT3 set in 1910s Oxford. So... tie? :3
What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
I have one of those eternal WIPs (more of an idea, really) of a Discworld/Quantum Leap crossover where Sam Beckett Leaps into Sam Vimes who's in the middle of an investigation, which would mean that 1) Sam B has to wrap his mind around the existence of magic and dwarves and trolls and Nobby Nobbs while Sam V and Al Calavicci stare at each other down (Spider-men-pointing-meme style in the end) going "if my guy/my people get(s) hurt by your shenanigans then so help me I will go SQUARE" (and quickly enough work together).
What are your writing strengths?
Dialogue, apparently? I've been told a few times over the years by readers that they could "hear" the characters speak in their heads, which is the greatest compliment 💜 (especially since English is not my first language, so I'm always worried about things not sounding right!)
What are your writing weaknesses?
Actual plots, especially ones with a bit of complexity in them 😅 I'm the first to admit 80% of my fics are one-shot character exploration (with conflict - internal and external - being resolved via dialogue and/or communication). Also finishing things on time, GOD.
Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
Heh. I'm French and when I write for Hogan's Heroes I often write a French character who canonically (though rarely, gotta respect the ratio) says things in French sometimes. Of course I'll include some! But I always make sure 1) to include a translation/explanation in the notes (AO3 is really great for footnotes) and 2) that it doesn't really require a translation to understand the situation/stakes. I tend to go back and forth on the use of italics for foreign language words.
Now, if I don't know the language as well as I do French (and, more importantly, if the PoV character who hears it speaks that language), I just clarify in the "s/he said", like
"You gotta be kidding me," muttered Bob in [insert language here].
Works in English too, of course, especially if you're having a multi-language environment in your fic.
First fandom you wrote for?
I was gonna say "Harry Potter", because that's the first fandom I wrote for (and published) after discovering fanfiction (the first fics I read were for Starsky & Hutch), BUT. I guess I should answer Titanic?? On account of how I kinda wrote a self-insert in high school (when the film came out) in which an imaginary inventor uncle build a time machine and my sister and I did some time tourism (obviously money wasn't an issue), thinking "oh we'll just go home on April 14th". I was a soppy 16 years old otherwise 0% interested in romance, so I had my stand-in recently lost her boyfriend (very tragically) and Fabrizio (Jack's Italian friend) be her gently manic pixie dream boy (and, of course, die). In retrospect I might have given my 14 year old sister the best part as the snarky no-nonsense little sibling. I tragically lacked self-awareness and poured my entire heart into it. Thank goodness I had no idea you could put out stories on the internet and that my best friend at the time (the only other human being who read this story) was kind and just as obsessed with the movie as I was ^^'
(I should point out that I wrote it with pencil on loose paper gathered in a binder I lost long ago. Such is life.)
Favorite fic you've ever written?
You can't just - I - oh come on! I can't choose between my babies!! No but seriously, I actually can't choose, sorry :D

Let’s Talk Wrestling Merch:
Now, I know the reason why you are reading my blog and connecting with other fans . You love professional wrestling! For this article, I’m going to be talking about wrestling merchandise and showing off a few of my favorite merch items and different merch items from over the years.
Wrestling merchandise can come into different forms. It’s all about fans buying items such as shirts , posters, toys, etc to show off their support for their favorite wrestlers. This became popular during the 1980s after the Rock & Wrestling Connection. Fans began buying merchandise to dress and support their favorite wrestlers such as Macho Man Randy Savage and Rowdy Roddy Piper. However, during this time period , it was the most popular wrestler in the WWF, Hulk Hogan, who had the highest selling merchandise in the company. Anything to do with the powerhouse wrestling promotion could be even found in grocery stores, with WWF branded ice cream bars. Vince McMahon’s vision for this was to appeal to children and get them to watch the programming by placing their favorite wrestler’s picture on a frozen treat. WWF birthday party sets were even available at the time as well.
During the 1990s and into the Monday Night Wars between WWF and WCW, merchandise sales were even higher. With the rise of the nWo , fans kept buying their shirts and other items such as figures of the popular group. During the Attitude Era for the WWF, stars such as Stone Cold Steve Austin , DX, and The Rock were the top merchandise sellers for the company. During the 2000s, WWE’s top selling merchandise was of their biggest names such as John Cena and Randy Orton , with Cena being the top seller.
With the popularity of WWE Shop and rival wrestling merch shop, Shop AEW, fans have been trying to find things to support their favorites. WWE’s top merchandise sellers are Cody Rhodes , LA Knight , Roman Reigns , Rhea Ripley , Bianca Belair , Liv Morgan , Seth Freakin Rollins, etc. With AEW, their top merchandise sellers include Sting, MJF, Swerve Strickland, Will Ospreay , Mercedes Monè, Timeless Toni Storm, etc. Sales of merch can change weekly or yearly.
Fans can also go to bookstores or websites to find books that their favorite wrestlers have written or any book about wrestling. I’ve bought two AEW shirts from Hot Topic , you can find wrestling merch there sometimes.
Before the rise of those two merchandise websites , fans had to find merchandise stands at shows and or in catalogs. They could also go to different stores to find figures of their favorite wrestlers.
The rise of sites such as Pro Wrestling Tees and Ringside Collectibles have helped fans as well. These sites have advertised different items to appeal to fans of any promotion or wrestling in general.
My Favorite Wrestling Merch Items:
I have a few favorite items in my personal collection that I want to show off. I have a vintage Shawn Michaels shirt that I found at a thrift store. I found it to be from 1997 , which was the year that I was born. I also have a nWo shirt which I found online and yes, it’s my favorite shirt. I also love my customized Drew McIntyre necklace , figure , and book. I also have a few vintage figures that were passed down to me by my dad.
My Final Thoughts:
Being an Amateur Wrestling Historian , I felt like talking about merch and how far it has came. I also liked talking about how far buying merch has evolved over the years. I’m curious , what was your first piece of wrestling merch and what is your newest one? What is your favorite merch? Let me know!
Love You All,
-Kay
