In the far future, Kyju lives in a large cave up in the mountains, away from civilization. One individual goes searching for "The Kaiju" of legend, in hopes of finding answers to their own past and help from a massive impending threat. (Part 6 of 6)

Very, very, very old nature activist tortoise time~! Torrku's info under that cut! v v v

Name: Torrku Gender: Male Size: 550+ feet in height, ~1000+ feet in body length Appearance: A massive ancient mostly gray and green colored tortoise kaiju, whose shell, head and limbs inhabit entire mini ecosystems full of lush trees and giant moss patches. Most of his shell scutes have glowing blue rune-like inscriptions made of pure energy. Anatomy matches that of a large terrestrial tortoise, however the head resembles an alligator snapping turtle's. He has a dual iris color of both vivid green and blue. Abilities: Purification and energy convergence - capable of storing/converging energy and pollution of any kind within his body to release into surroundings, thus fully restoring the local nature within a great radius or turning the enemy's own energy against themselves. Crushing bite - Torrku's slow bite can easily crush through armor, flesh and bone of a kaiju, as well as toughest metals with a constant increasing force. Description: Torrku is usually a very relaxed, gentle, docile and very kind kaiju when resting or at peace. He has been alive for possibly hundreds of thousands if not millions of years. Humans within his massive home jungle have founded a clan around his shell and worship Torrku as their deity of Nature. Torrku often sleeps for many years before waking up upon sensing disturbances or increasing toxic filth within the world's ecosystems. He will travel to the polluted damaged region to purify it from toxins and fully restore it. He is incredibly defiant in his purification instincts and won't allow anything to stop him in his tracks, whether they be humans or other kaiju.

omfg I'm a fool. I'm so sorry. I just realized that I never posted the original designs for my Kaiju TMNT AU on tumblr. oTL

I'm still debating if I wanna go more kaiju-looking on them like in my previous post, or if I should stick with these designs, tbh. I like them both? So maybe I'll figure something out.

In this version they are all so close in age that Splinter just treats them like quadruplets. There's not really an older/younger sibling dynamic. For the most part everyone is treated as equal.

Leo becomes the leader naturally because of his extroverted personality and strategic skills. He's outgoing and encouraging of his brothers, and doesn't like to be left by himself for too long. A little sassy at times, and definitely a prankster. I liked the easygoing nature of Rise's Leo, and wanted to mix it with Mutant Mayhem's. (Scorpion Mud Turtle)

Donnie is just a lovable dork. He likes to take things apart and put them back together again, and his big thing is studying coding. He's also the smallest and most agile of the group. I wanted to pull back from the "jack of all trades/techs" type of Donnie and give him a focus. Pulling personality traits more from Bayverse and the 2007 movie, honestly. (Wood Turtle)

For Raph I confess to just dumping my two favorites (2003 & Rise) in a blender, both visually obvious through the species & color scheme, AND the personality. Very protective of the others, but also teases/bullies them constantly. Very aware of his strength and temperament. Brooklyn accent 100%. (Alligator Snapping Turtle)

Mikey I wanted to make the biggest because I felt like the gentle giant vibes fit his personality. That laid back 'surfer dude' attitude mixes well with it. He was the unofficial leader for their childhood just because he was the biggest and it was easy for the others to follow/hide behind him. He did his best, but was glad that Leo stepped up. For him I looked to 2012 and 1987 Michaelangelo in terms of personality. (African Tortoise)

An entire month?! Jesus H, I'm surprised I've kept this up for so long. Thank you all for tagging along with this silly project of mine as long as you have! Celebrations aside, though, today's demon is a relatively obscure one, appearing mostly just in the earlier games in the series: The great French Dragon, the Tarrasque. Now, most know this monster from the trenches of 5e, wherein it serves commonly as a BBEG of many a campaign, as well as apparently in MTG? I know next to nothing about Magic, so I'll just take Google's word for it. However, in spite of how much it seems tailor-made to simply be a giant boss monster in some random DnD or Pathfinder campaign, this massive beast actually originates from a french fairytale about a badass Christian saint lady who was friends with Jesus Christ. No, I am not joking.

Backing up a smidge, the Tarrasque in the story first appears as a massive dragon ravaging the French city of Tarascon (no doubt where it got its name, though it's vague- either the Tarrasque got its name from Tarascon, or, more popularly, Tarascon got its name from the Tarrasque), though its appearance is anything but- as described in the tale,

"It was fatter than an ox, longer than a horse, with a lion’s face and head, teeth as sharp as swords, a horse’s mane, its back as sharp as an axe, bristling and piercing scales, six feet with bear’s claws, a serpent’s tail, and a shell on either side like a tortoise." The story also describes it as being downright massive, 15 meters tall and 20 meters long.

The story paints a picture of it being more than just a simple animal, though, as past its chimerical appearance, it was also apparently the offspring of the biblical leviathan. Saint Martha, a young woman who traveled to the town with the intent of evangelizing it, eventually was stopped and asked for help in defeating the beast- each time they would try, it would simply deflect each attack without a care in the world before retreating back underwater, only to return the next day to continue wreaking havoc. Martha, being the sister of Mary Magdalene, was deeply religious and connected to the big man upstairs, and thusly she approached the monster with naught but her faith.

Surprisingly, it worked. The Tarrasque fell tame soon after being splashed with holy water and having a cross waved in its face, and Martha grew to become a patron saint of the village. While this heavily Christian tale is the only recollection of the Tarrasque we're aware of, there is still quite a bit to dig into- as some scholars hypothesize, the Tarrasque serves as a metaphor for sin and evil, representing how such things can destroy a community and how, who else, but our man Jeezy-C can help bring back a community from destruction. Overall, while a short and simple tale, the story of the Tarrasque gives way to a surprisingly unique monster, this kaiju-esque hybrid.

Now, in terms of SMT, the design is surprisingly faithful to its original depiction, what with the lion head, turtle shell, six legs, and overall just how weird it is. I've yet to play the Raidou games nor SMT II, so I can't give much of a rundown on how it works in-game, but all-in-all, the Tarrasque is a demon worthy of the spotlight. Thanks for the request!

While writing lore for my self-indulgent kaiju au, I've referenced so many irl animals that I genuinely think I could get away with monetizing it just by changing the species into the animals I reference.

Gojiras are wolves that spit boiling water. Rodans are fire bending ravens. Humans are ants that use magic to make golems, which is what Mechagodzilla and King Ceasar are. Mosura is a barn owl that is worshipped by moths. The Xillians are cockroaches, and Ghidorahs are modified bats made by them. Also, Anguirus is a boar, and Battra is a great horned owl.

I even thought of a naming scheme for the wolves/gojiras. Offspring are named after the season they were born in and something that fits them. Godzilla Jr is named Winterstream. His raven brother, Fire Rodan, is named Summerbreeze.

The tricky part is figuring out what Kong and Gamera would be because having a straight-up gorilla and tortoise might be too obvious.

He has ascended to the heavens, leaving Shifu in his place as leader of the Jade Palace. He achieved inner peace, which makes him rather whimsical even after passing.

Godzilla: The original monster. A giant, prehistoric aquatic reptile who lurked in the darkest depths of the ocean, until the fateful day where a nuclear weapons test destroyed their habitat, causing him to absorb massive amounts of radiation. Godzilla is the King of Monsters. They are a Japanese Kaiju and is the poster child for the giant movie monster genre. They have been reimagined over and over again. At first they were a warning of atomic war, now a noble hero who protects humanity.

Daiko is a  strange Fellow he’s younger than the others in Gracery  and Apparently not even in the Same Group   as the Rest of Gracery , He was found and Raised by science People in the land of Dragons who Praised him as a Lucky Child apparently he’s the last of his Species Of Turtles Kaiju and these People were just  glad to have gotten him to Hatch so he’s been in a Lab  for years before being allowed to experience the World due to Daido existing . 

Daiko is much more like A young adult/older teen than Daido and Amalya  . He seems Tired and Bored all the Time , often seen Just inside  his shell Sleeping before doing Homework very Chill and Dosent Generally bother people. 

He's still trying to Figure himself out . However he  is Considered the least Aggressive Have been allowed around Young   Children and even teens.  Though any pain coming to his Buddies will Result In Daiko Getting aggressive . He usally attacked first and Retaliates .he’s Okay with Daido  for the Most part .

It’s Hinted that He May have a Soft spot for Sebek and Duece .

Trivia:

  Though many people in the Dorm  have seen it Fit To  throw Daiko due to being a heavy sleeper at Daido .  

Hes is Definitely on Par with Daido in terms of strength .but a lot of People think he’s Weak due to being Passive . 

Apparently He has some Stones he Entrusted to people it basically Gives them. a Psychic Link to Him even in monster Form. But Everything that Happens to To Daiko Happen to the Person with the Stone so he’s Reluctant to Give them to People 

He apparently has retractable elbow spikes 

His body in Incredibly Hot  due to eating Stuff like Oil, Coal , Gas and Nuclear Engery  due to his Organs acting as a Furnace it’s also how he It also how he Shoots Plasma and Fireball balls at Half the Dorm .

This Counteracts His Weakness To the Cold  so if he dosent Eat anything  That he can Produce  heat with  he Will  start  getting cold and possibly Die in somecases . 

He is Vulnerable to be turned over on his back

That D&D tarrasque is a neat reptilian kaiju design, though for Norrasque I was visualizing a build more akin to the one in old French lore (as hopefully linked here ): big ol' tortoise shell, six bear-like legs, long reptilian tail. Oh, and I just noticed the original name only has one 'r', so I guess it's 'Norasque' instead. Size-wise I figure she's about small car scale: big enough to fit Renaga atop her shell if he's coiled up, or Blanticore & Cerberuby if they squeeze. Arclops is probably the tallest one, but I hadn't visualized 'my' horrifying rwby chimerae as that much bigger than each other (feel free to switch up your own headcanons, of course).

Ahh it was the D&D Tarrasque I was familiar with, I don't think I've heard of a tarasque before. Interesting! The link does indeed seem to work.

I can't help but imagine all of the RWBY chimerae squeezed on top of Norasque like they're in a clown car.
