Both Kairi and Indigo laughed as they saw the two Marowak butt heads. "I think they're both pretty cool looking," Kairi replied and gave a big grin, "I could use a good ground type on my team, so I'll definitely take the normal one."

Indigo chuckled a bit and nodded. "They do look cool. This one could use a good fire and ghost type on her team as well. She'll take the other."

"It actually wasn't too long ago when we got together," Kairi answered first, sitting with Indigo on her bed with her arm around the faunus' shoulders, "She apparently couldn't resist my charm, or my eyes."

Indigo rolled her eyes. "Oh shut up. It was because of how alike we are... mostly, anyway."

"Whatever you say," Indigo said, shaking her head a bit, "And neither of us asked. It was natural with us growing close, and-"

"Indigo asked me," Kairi cut in and began to grin widely, "It took her a while to build the courage, but everyone knew she liked me apparently-OW! Hey, what was that for!?" She exclaimed after Indigo punched her in the thigh.

"Light, this is embarrassing..." Indigo muttered to herself, blushing a bit as she sat with Kairi in the cafeteria, "People can see, you know."

"Hmm, it almost sounds like you're embarrassed to hold my hand," Kairi remarked with a big grin, keeping Indigo's hand in hers, "Does my little fox not want to hold hands?"

"I never said that..." Indigo replied, blushing even more.

"You just don't want everyone seeing you be affectionate~"

Indigo's mouth opened as she went to speak, but then she closed it. She couldn't think of anything to say to that. Kairi let out a giggle at that. "You're so adorable, you know."

Indigo huffed and turned away. "I am not cute."

"Oh I think I'll absolutely take an Electabuzz," Kairi said with a grin after she saw the electric Pokémon striking the ground with a Thunder Punch, "He seems like he'd be a badass pick for my team."

Kairi grinned as she ruffled the fluffy fur on the sides of Zero's neck. "He's absolutely adorable and is the most well behaved boy, and I love him and will die for him."

Momo waking up Kairi

Kairi laid in her bed with Indigo one rather chilly Monday morning, snoring softly as she spooned with the smaller girl. It was a strange morning in the middle of summer that it was so cold, so Kairi had decided to stay in bed with the covers over her and Indigo's bodies. But, the peacefulness of the room didn't last. Their teammates had gone out to the cafeteria for breakfast, and left the door unlocked. The door slowly opened up and the calloused fingers of a certain dragon faunus wrapped around the edge of the door, and then she poked her head in to look around the room. Seeing her daughter and her daughter's girlfriend laying in their bed, she grinned and opened the door a bit more.

"Momo, wake them up." Rivy said quietly, and a light, affirmative growl sounded behind her.

Momo crept into the room past Rivy's legs and saw her targets, and she padded toward the bed. When she got to the end of it, she jumped up and then poked her nose under the covers, and then she began to wiggle herself under them it didn't take long for her to work her way up between the two girlfriends, and then she went on the attack. Her tongue lapped at Kairi's cheeks over and over and the girl groaned and turned away, letting go of Indigo. Momo didn't let up though, and she continued to lick at Kairi's face over and over until Kairi couldn't take it anymore and started to laugh tiredly.

"A-all right, all right Momo! I'm up!" Kairi said and threw the covers off herself, and she started to pet Momo's fur.

"Speak for yourself..." Indigo growled a bit and curled up in the bed.

Rivy chuckled a bit and shook her head, leaning against the doorframe. "You shouldn't stay in bed so long, you know."

"I know I know, but I can't help it," Kairi replied and let out a yawn, "Especially when I have something cute in my arms."

"Not cute..." Indigo said tiredly.

"Whatever you say," Kairi laughed, then she looked back to Rivy as she continued to pet Momo, "How is everything going with Scalewood?"

Rivy smiled at the question. "Slow and steady. We've had no troubles with anything. The inn is almost rebuilt."

Kairi smiled a bit in return. "I can't wait for the village to be rebuilt."

"Neither can I, Kairi."

Why is it Indigo has fox ears as her trait, instead of her tail?

"Family genetics," Indigo answered easily as Kairi sat behind her, grooming her ears for her, "On the fox faunus side of the family, all the women have had fox ears like my mom and my aunt. The men have always had tails, like my grandfather and great uncle, my great grandfather, and Inigo."

"And your ears are the cutest," Kairi remarked with a grin and leaned forward to kiss the base of one of them, causing it to flick around a bit, "I love taking care of them for you."

Indigo blushed a bit at that. "You're lucky I like you."
