Kate actng all angsty about her sister but they go ans kiss and fuck that man. They are cheaters and you love them.

Once again, it was something that wasn't in the book. In the book, there is not that kind of love triangle, Edwina is all for Kanthony.

If i have to defend the show, I'd say Edwina and Anthony were not engaged because of love, they chose each other because they thought they'd be a good match. Feelings weren't truly involved. Edwina feeling betrayed is legitimate, but her feelings are more based on a fairy tale she wants to live and that could go with any other gentle man than love for Anthony.

Love can happen, and well, Kate and Anthony kissed and made love, and that was something they could not control. It was never to hurt Edwina, and they wanted to keep her happy with what she wanted. But sometimes, feelings are stronger than duty, and Edwina saw with that look they shared both were in love. I think she was angrier at not knowing it and being kept blind, and not because she was in love with Anthony.

Cheating before a wedding of convenience and spreading secrets for what is convenient for one's gains are absolutely not on the same level. The first is private, the latter is public, and has thus more important consequences.

Kate was ready to leave if Edwina could have that fairy tale, even when she knew she loved Anthony. She wanted the best for her sister..Did Penelope step back so that Marina could have a life with a man of her choosing? No, she went all "I've raised you high, but now I'm going to dig your grave so that you won't have Colin".

But I see you wanted Marina to be miserable, as you added "thanks to stupid Daphne". Like "how dare she try to take Colin, when Penelope has a crush on him!" News flash, just because Penelope wants Colin doesn't mean he's hers and should be ashamed for not wanting her.

As for Eloise, Penelope revealed something she knew could make her be excluded, punished by authorities, she and her family. AND had the audacity to say Eloise talks, but never tries to do something about it (Girl, you totally stopped her from actually trying to do something, don't be a hypocrite). Far worse than Penelope overhearing Colin saying to à group of gentlemen he wouldn't court her, which only dims her marriage prospects, but not her status as a priviledged one (because yes, she is. Also, it doesn't happen like that in the books).

Penelope is no moral compass. She shouldn't be. She points fingers and yes, does ruin lives by writing her little anonymous articles, but for the moment, that's all she does.

Edwina Sharma stans hate boner for Anthony Bridgerton is still going strong after a year and more. Just accept he never wanted her and move on. It’s getting pathetic.

I am finding it interesting how some 'fans' have changed their opinions on how seasons should be for season 3. In season 2 it was all about it being an ensemble cast and we needed all of the Penelope/Featherington/Lady Whistledown stories in order to set up season 3, and of course there is the whole thing that apparently we needed so much Featherington in season 1 to help set up Penelope for season 3. However, now it is that they don't want anything to happen for other characters in season 3. Some of what I have seen is:

Francesca can't get married because it will take away from Penelope and Colin, the only wedding should be the main couple. Despite the fact that the two weddings in season 2 were not the main couple.

There can't be two many subplots as it is unfair to Polin. This is also used to say that Kate and Anthony shouldn't have their own subplot because they have had their season and it will make too many subplots in Polin's season.

If Benedict is season 4 then his story can't begin with the ball until the end of season 3, this despite Polin's story beginning in episode 1 of season 1, and Sophie shouldn't be in season 3 at all because her reveal shouldn't be until Benedict's season, again despite the fact that we have had Penelope since season 1.

Kate and Anthony should only be background characters, in it as little as Daphne in season 2, because they will detract from Polin. Strangely the ones saying this are also the ones that want Anthony to be the one to talk to Colin about what he said in season 2 (as if Anthony took notice or cared), Anthony to be the one to forgive Penelope for being Lady Whistledown and actively bring her into the family, Kate being the first to notice that Colin loves Penelope, and Anthony to walk Penelope down the aisle at her huge, bigger than a Royal Wedding, wedding.

There is a lot of entitlement about season 3, and they are so unaware they do not realise all they are doing is turning other fans off season 3. They will be the first to blame Kanthony fans if season 3 doesn't do as well as season 2.

The argument about Benedict and the ball/meeting Sophie until the end of the season is so funny to me b/c imo. It would make the most sense to have it in the beginning (like 2nd ep maybe even) of S3. First reason for me is that Benedict can spend the rest of S3 searching for his Lady In Silver and potentially end with Sophie getting thrown out of Araminta's or something. Second reason would actually benefit Polin too b/c in AOFAG, Ben is supposed to dance with Pen at his mother's request but he gets distracted by LIS' entrance that he completely forgets, and Colin later ends up dancing with her, which would really benefit Polin's story for the rest of the season.

That and the fact that like... There's a 2 year gap b/w the masquerade and them ACTUALLY meeting face to face at Cavender's party. So introducing Sophie in S3 would make sense if S4 is indeed Benedict's season.

Also hilarious that Polin's are always like "Well it's an EnSeMbLe show!" when Polin and Pen took away Kanthony screentime. But now that it's their season it's all: "They need to focus on just Polin" When people want to see more Kanthony or have Sophie introduced and start Benophie's story.

Kate/Kanthony fans are so unserious. They really think that Edwina calling Kate her half sister is equal to the pain and betrayal Edwina felt after finding out about their emotional affair. Well it isn’t. Edwina saying something spiteful so Kate could feel a fraction of the pain she was feeling isn’t on the same level as Edwina’s reputation in their society being permanently damaged because of Kate and Anthony’s foolishness.

i know i can never find the kind of love i read about. Not cause it doesn't exist, it does. But it's so rare it's nearly impossible to find so i will be that love for myself & my loved ones & be happy enough by just reading about it in fiction.

If you hate both Edwina and Anthony, I can understand that.

If you hate Edwina but love Anthony, I have absolutely no respect for you.

Because it means that you don't like Edwina because she was upset with Kate lying to her and then finding out that Kate and Anthony had feelings on the day of her wedding with him.

But you don't mind that Anthony was awful to Kate and kept disrepecting her even after they almost kissed. He proposed to Kate's sister in front of Kate, after almost kissing her in the library. He kept seducing Edwina, in front of Kate even after he had almost kissed Kate. And if he were a real gentleman he should have proposed to Kate since Daphne caught them alone together.

He did all of this in front of Kate after trying to kiss her. Even if he could have proceded differently, he could have proposed to literally any woman but Kate's sister, and even if he had, he could have done it somewhere else and not in front of Kate ...

Either you care about the way Kate is treated or you don't, but if you don't, don't use Edwina as a scapegoat.

If you have a problem with the way Edwina treated Kate after the wedding but you're ok with the way Anthony treated Kate and disrepected her throughout the show... You have a problem. And the problem is that you have somehow prejudiceice against Brown characters whether you realize it or not.
