“That was a close call.” Kate said in coms.

You shoot your last arrow in the direction of the car then press the button to blow it up.

“Yeah, I saw that.”

You jumped from the edge and landed on the roof under you, you felt a sting on your side and ignored it you thought to yourself that maybe you hit something while being on the mission and you just starting to feel it. You made a run to the meeting point with your sister.

While making your way to the meeting point you felt the adrenaline rush was wearing off from your system and the pain just kept on coming but you still had to make it there to your sister. You were trying to control your breathing and hissing.

You took longer than needed to meet Kate, she got worried so she tried to contact you.

“Hey Y/n where are you?” She asked.

“On my way, why?” You asked

“What’s taking you so long?”

“I’m taking my sweet time, do you have a problem?”

“Uuugh just get here already I’m hungry and I stink I want to take a long shower after this.” She complained.

“I’m here.” You said while standing behind her.

She turned around and smiled at you “About time, so are you down for pizza?” She asked while getting in the car.

“Yeah, pizza sounds great.” You tried your hardest to not sound like you’re in pain while getting in the car.

While driving to your HQ as you two call it you were silent the entire ride back and Kate got worried.

“Hey Y/n are you good?” She sounded worried.

“Yeah, yeah I’m good.” You whispered.

As soon as you answered Kate hit a pumped on the road and you hissed, that got her attention.

“Y/n what’s wrong?” She turned her head to look at you.

You looked down and touched your side, turned out you were bleeding from a gun wound that you didn’t even feel or notice earlier. You just felt the pain and didn’t even get curious about it, you thought a bruise and move on.

Kate saw the blood and all the colors on her face drained.

“You’re HURT?!” She yelled freaking out “Why didn’t you say anything?”

“I didn’t even know I’m hurt Kate!” You reasoned.

“It’s okay I know how to handle gun shot wound. Just apply pressure on it until we get there.”

“Yeah yeah I know what to do” you told her.

“Hey don’t give an attitude I’m your older sister!” She snapped at you.

“Oh god.” You facepalmed yourself.
