Kate has always been beautiful. But I'm still so obsessed with the way her look changes. The loosening of the hair and the softening of her clothes are not just aesthetic; they represent Kate embracing herself.

Season 2 Kate had resigned herself to being a spinster and dimmed her light at every opportunity to shine it on Edwina instead. She played up to society's expectations of her and downplayed her beauty to not draw too much attention to herself.

Season 3 Kate is the most beautiful woman in every room, and she is totally comfortable with it. Her confidence is through the roof, and she is secure enough to be both a force of nature and a softer, more vulnerable version of herself. Her clothing isn't armor or camouflage. She's celebrating her beauty and letting herself be loved, cherished, and respected by her family and others.

Anthony's affection/obsession has given her a safe space to embrace her full beauty and power. He shines all his light on her - it's clear that Kate is the most popular and most influential Bridgerton, and Anthony does nothing but actively encourage that.

Kate literally looks like a different woman in season 3, and it makes me beyond happy for her.

come for me if you must but colin and penelope’s first kiss was way more hard hitting than any of the other kisses in bridgerton. it wasn’t fast and wild or trying to prove something. it was slow. gentle. a friend helping out another friend with just a simple peck that could have ended there. but no they pulled back and looked at each other and got lost in with another and kissed again. deepened it. both acting as if it would be the only and last time. colin panting into her mouth. his fingers on her cheek. we have been waiting to see this kiss for two seasons. eighteen episodes. penelope has been waiting for this kiss since they were kids. like!! their kiss holds so much more meaning!! hits harder!! i’m sorry but nothing can top it.

thing is, we don’t actually know who rogue is, at all. his identity remains as much of a mystery black box as it was when the episode started, like river used to be when we first met her in silence in the library.

yes, he took his codename from dungeons and fucking dragons, but… is he even human? what organisation does he work for, who’s this “new boss” of his? who did he lose? why is he a bounty hunter? where is he from? why did he react like that to seeing ten’s face on the scanner specifically? we don’t know anything about this man. there is absolutely nothing in the episode that proves for certain that he isn’t time agent “javic piotr thane” pre-mindwipe

the above straw-grasping aside… they’re essentially betrothed now. we’ll see him again.

So I'm doing another playthrough, and I saw something that I thought was pretty interesting. My character is romancing Astarion (obviously), and I got this dialogue from Yurgir when meeting with him.

He says, "...There's something else, almost hidden by your fear-stink...cherries, musk...and sulphur."

Can Yurgir smell the first two notes of "cherries & musk" because your Tav smells like Astarion? It is well known amongst Astarion romancers that his scent is brandy, rosemary, and bergamont.

It also got me thinking about how when Halsin talks to you and says something like "You have bonded with Astarion body and mind. His scent lingers on your skin."

It could just be a coincidence, but I thought it was a cool find, and it made me swing my feet thinking my Tav is walking around smelling like Astarion.

I absolutely love this moment when Boone says “I think I love you” because Kate’s first reaction is to look DIRECTLY AT TYLER and then Tyler looks down like he has to stop himself from saying it right then and there too.
