When Marisa defeated Hanayama, you checked to see if he was alright. He felt touched that you would check on him but Marisa gave him a look to silence him.

Sadly that didn’t last long because when he faced off against Marisa, she beat the absolute shit out of him. Hanayama sent you letters while you were in the hospital but you never got them. Marisa threw away any flowers or letters Hanayama tried to send you (sometimes she’d eat them so there’s no evidence). Mari couldn’t stand the yakuza. She didn’t want you involved with someone so dangerous. Marisa stayed by your side the entirety of your hospital stay and only let female doctors and nurses in. Absolutely no men.

Marisa was so over protective of you that you had a hard time making friends while in Japan but the other fighters weren’t deterred. They’d still try to talk to you, even when Marisa would throw them far away from you (except Jack and Hanayama). She wasn’t going to let you fall in love with any ‘man thing.’

Marisa threw a car at Hanayama once. Just once to get the point across that she was willing to throw down with him at any point in time

It was only just recently that Rosaline Hammer moved to Japan from the islands to start a new life… She couldn’t stay away from fighting though. She needed the money, but moreover wanted to keep pursuing her passions. That was when Rosaline heard about the up and coming fighting event ran by the ShinShinkai Dojo.

As a newcomer/foreigner, she had never heard of this dojo, even back in the islands. If the dojo had over 200 branches, why had she not? Regardless she was hesitant to sign up as she was a woman, but surprisingly she was allowed to participate the event. Rosaline wasn’t one to be intimidated, however when seeing that no woman signed up except for her, she knew it would be a challenge. She liked a challenge.

For weeks she’d trained on end. Her fighting style was composed of Hawaiian Mokomoko boxing and Silat, both effective in elusiveness and physical punches. At the beach she’d train in the sand practicing footwork and punch down trees, and in the gym she would bench over 600 pounds! All to go back to a lifestyle she thought she left, well partly..

When she arrived at the Shinshinkai lobby, she was was greeted by Mr. Tokugawa. “Why hello there! You must be our female champion Rosaline Hammer?” “Hola! Yes I am and you are?” “Mr Tokugawa, I practically run the place.” He said with a cheeky grin. “Don’t get too ahead of yourself Mitsunari.” spoke a strange bald man with a sly grin.

“Ay why if course!” He laughed. “And who might you be?” “The owner. Mr. Doppo Orochi’s the name.”

“Really!? I remember around a decade ago I’d witnessed a man take down the largest crocodile in my village with a similar name!”

“That’s me alright.. hope you enjoyed the show.” “It’s what inspired me to become a martial artist.” “Isn’t that an amazing coincidence doppo. Well she must get going now. Follow me to the waiting room.” “Alright Mr. Tokugawa was it?”

Her heart was racing so fast, it practically was beating out of her chest. As she followed this short old man she’d seen at least 100 karate students practicing. It gave her an opportunity to reminisce on her days as a Mokomoko teacher. Suddenly Rosaline, was brought out of her trance. “We’re here Ms. Hammer! I hope you enjoy the matches and don’t beat up those Boys too bad!” He joked.

“If they put up enough a fight I won’t. Thank you for leading the way Mr. Tokugawa.” “Anytime dear.” As soon as she stepped into the room she could feel hundreds of eyes on her. But it wasn’t like she’d already started sizing up every single man in the room. Her eyes suddenly landed on this beast of a man. He must have been at least 8’0 tall!

This dangerous looking blond man was competing in an arm wrestle with an extremely large man. Was wide the word? As soon as she made eye contact with him Rosalie knew he was the one to beat. He flashed her a toothy grin and then his opponent who he’d beaten instantly after.

Deciding to walk up to him and introduce herself was the best option in her eyes. “Hola. quieres pelear con los brazos?” “Excuse me?” Said the blond man. “Sorry, do you want to arm wrestle me?” “Haha!! You really think you can take me on? Bring it!!” He had never thought this 5’2 woman could defeat him in a matter of 30 seconds.

She had struggled, but not as much as he had. “AGAIN!” He roared. She won again and again. “Why don’t we stop this madness” she teased. “I’m Rosaline hammer! Pleasure to meet you.” “Huh.. This is bullshit! You beat me and have my name too.” “Well fake name. I’m jack Hanma.”He muttered. “Doesn’t that make us more compatible?” “Excuse me?!” He laughed slightly blushing.

“ I look forward to defeating you on the battle field. Adios Guapa Rubio.” Dumbfounded jack sat there but with a newfound spark in his eyes. One of anger, lust, and one that everyone could see that he’d make her his one day.

Her first fight was against a man named Atsushi suedo. Rosaline decided he was not a threat so she hadn’t used Silat on him. (Disabling him as quickly as possible) Instead the ferocious woman knocked him out in three punches. Back in the islands shed learned the ancient art of Mokomoko. One to trash talk and two repeatedly hit the opponents head and dodge their attacks.

Then she fought two more men, matches which she won. She gathered they were adjacent to shinshinkai. “Are they all from here? I need to fight more people.” She said.

That wasn’t ever the goal what about a new life

The last she was going up against was none other than Katsumi Orochi. “In this round we have none other Than THE katsumi orochi and THE ISLAND CHAMPION ROSALINE HAMMER!!!” “A champion are you? Surprising. I like a strong woman though.” “Well aren’t you pretty? Your neck is as thick as your eyebrows.” “I u-uh.”

In that moment she’d landed a kick to the pressure points in the back of his left knee. “Don’t let your guard down pretty boy.” “Wow…” this woman is amazing thought katsumi. Once again she evaded his punches until he’d used the Mach punch on her left arm. “FUCKK!!” They both yelled. Her arm was injured but his hand was destroyed. She fell to the ground but not before kicking him so hard in the stomach he flew back. “God I just Love you.” You joked. “I love you more!” Jack didn’t know why but his hard skipped a beat at that. He knew about the sarcasm occurring but katsumi was flushed red and still had a giant smirk. Anyone would be lucky to face her.

“Ay Maldita seya.. I’m bleeding now. Looks like I’ll have to make you pay.” As Katsumi walked back to attack her she sprinted at him in the blink of an eye. Jumping 20 feet into the air over him, when she landed he was instantly knocked out by her kick. “AND THE WINNER IS ROSALINE HAMMER!!”

She placed a small kiss on Katsumi’s forehead and walked off. “Shouldn’t underestimate a lady.. Adios Pretty boy.” The crowd went absolutely wild for this woman. In two weeks there was going to be the next small tournament and Jack would do anything to get a chance to fight her.

“Jack my boy, I heard about your little mishap at the tournament. Lucky enough for you your championship match is against that girl. I think your kids would be absolute monsters.. just like us.. don’t let that one slip away.” “Don’t ever compare me to you.” “I won’t” he whispered. As Yujiro walked away with the most menacing grin you’ve ever seen jack was torn.

He’d only met this girl once, but was head over heels for her. Jack knew he would do anything for this girl.. fight her and love her.

“JACK HANMA!” “That’s who I’m fighting. The man who got his face torn off by pickle. I wonder how is he? Haven’t seen him since he left the island after we fought each other and.. this guy though seems legit. Pretty handsome too.” Said rose to her best friend over the Phone. “But if he’s legit then cant he really hurt you?” “Not if I hurt him first!”

“Bestie, I-I have a question.. is jun back?”

“Last I heard he’s broken out of prison, but he hasn’t turned up yet.”

“I thought it was Hanma?” “Ya gotta listen more I already told you that’s my fake/ stage name.” “I thought it matched well enough for this match too.” “Oh really?” She felt her face go red. She was always one to flirt with men openly even if she didn’t like them. But this man made her feel some time of way.. there’s only one other man who ever has done the same.

When she got back up jack was already in front of her and punched her in the stomach. They traded blows to the face, jaw, stomach but neither one budged. She couldn’t even disable his pressure points. The least she was able to do was dodge. After jack punched her in her arms Rosalie decided that was the time to bring out the special moves. Suddenly she started humming confusing him and everyone else. The tune sounded mystic but that of ocean and air..

“Put the rum aside.. Burn the iron.” She sang

Jack was stricken with fear/ intrigue when he’d seen her eyes glow red and hair stand on end.

Today I’ve been texting jack sooo much it’s crazy.. I don’t know why but I’m so attracted to that man. Dangerous and a good face! He’s so strong and cute! The only thing stopping me from going all in is Jun. I can’t stop thinking about him either.. I loved him and he was sent away from me. He wrote me sometimes but it just felt like too much. I couldn’t be reminded of him when I would probably never see him again. That’s why I left the island. To start anew. To stop fighting. To stop pirating. Everything reminds me of him. Leaving Rosaline flustered jack thought his little mission was going pretty well. “Alright up this trail I hope you don’t mind hiking!?” “Really jack I love hiking. Back on the islands it was my favorite pastime except for fighting and u-um.” “What did you say?” “Um nothing come on let’s go!”
