Last of Us Spoilers (Part 2) (kinda, maybe?)

So, right now on tiktok, I’m seeing some fancasts for part 2. Mainly for Jesse and Abby. And besides Shannon Berry for Abby, the two biggest ones I see rn, are Steven Yeun as Jesse and Katy M. O’Brian as Abby. And I want to start off by saying, I love both these actors and I’d watching anything they’re in. But both of those actors are too old for Jesse and Abby. Steven is 39 and Katy is 34, while both Jesse and Abby are in there early 20s at best. And because they’re keeping Bella Ramsey as Ellie, having an two actors be way older than Bella when they’re all supposed to be around the same age would look weird. Like you’re telling me this person:

Is around the same age as these two?

That’s a bit of a stretch to me. Like, Steven is literally one year younger than Gabriel Luna aka the guy who plays Tommy in the show.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is real good. It’s light on the humor compared to the previous movies, but I think it’s for the better in my opinion. So much creativity with the Quantum Realm and all its scenery and denizens.

Jonathan Majors as Kang was great. MODOK was a little lackluster, but he wasn’t obnoxious or overused. I have a major crush on Katy M. O’Brian because damn

Overall, I enjoyed it for what it was. Not too many wildly imaginative sci-fi epics are being made nowadays. Would recommend staying for the post-credits if you have any investment in one of the Disney+ shows.

‘Love Lies Bleeding’ (2024): A Win For Queer Cinema.

Kristen Stuart and Katy M. O’Brian killed it (literally) in this sapphic crime thriller. The film will have you hot and bothered one moment and on the edge of your seat the next- I wouldn’t have it any other way.
