Introducing Ethan, a plush kid that just wants to help others! His current mission is to uncover the source behind a sudden influx of missing plushies cases, and bring them home! He's full of energy, doesn't have a mom, AND he's half-decent at math!
He's the protagonist of my webcomic, DREAMCAST! (...currently on hiatus, so it's a great time to catch up!)
Ethan is a helpful, sweet, and somewhat naive kid. He's lived his whole life in a tiny village as an orphan, and he's never gotten a proper chance to get out there and see the world. But, when a bunch of plushies go missing overnight, and all of the adults seem too scared to want to do anything about it... Ethan resolves to do it himself!
... Somehow!
But, the world can be scary, and Ethan quickly realizes this after a not-so-nice encounter with a playwright in a cave. It's fine, don't worry about it, he's okay, it's fine! ... But the experience does make Ethan realize that he shouldn't embark on his adventure alone.
Ethan's story is about helping people, learning how to be helped, and being a kid!

this concept art (Tom Zhao) is a bit outdated by the presence of a separate “human world”, so I’m not sure if it remains in the game’s intent (likely not), but I really like the idea. an implication that megabird survives on memories and experiences from being alive in the world which you collect and bring back to relinquish to her when you die. the cycle of reincarnation is akin to her breathing.

okok i have seen NOBODY mention this and i feel like i’m going insane— is there a central enchanting table this season? There was none at spawn and so far I have seen no pov that even mentions it like at all... except for Pearl, who said that theyre still limited to level 1 enchants. Does this mean that anyone can just craft the enchanting table? Does this mean Scar can no longer reunite with his beloved and resume his cartoonishly evil deeds of stealing it again?

#limlife spoilers#limited life finale#limited life finale spoilers#limited life spoilers#ask#anon#i stood in the kitchen watching eggs boil on the stove thinking about a scenario where martyn ends up trapped in the end of limlife#no ghosts. nothing to strike him down. the timer paused indefinitely. forever stuck with the time he stole#extra hours and minutes sitting heavy in his chest stretching out impossibly long#i thought about so long spent alone in a server frozen in time that he dives down deep#because the sun stopped moving. the timer is paused and everything else is too. nothing new spawns and he's killed all the mobs#and its always daylight and hes sick of it. hes sick. so he dives#dives until the sea is dark and heavy and cool around him like twilight. and maybe down there when his lungs start to burn--#--the kelp and coral start to look like reaching hands. and maybe theres something about forever carrying someone'e stolen time that--#--starts to feel like hauling around a body. because thats all thats left of them isn't it? thats all there is. their corpses are gone.#keepinventory is something that can be so personal. or impersonal as it were bc unless you were skizz u took everything with u when u died#theres nothing to remember the dead by#except their time. and martyn's timer won't budge anymore. so he supposes he's carrying whatever little is left of them#barely an hour. all that's left of scott is 30 minutes of an hour that refuses to end. he'd wanted that time so bad. he's so sick of it now#anyways. the point of this was supposed to be something about martyn hallucinating scott at the bottom of the ocean and nearly drowning#this is the second au where ive drowned martyn. the first one came to me in a dream. sorry idk whats going on there#i severely lost the plot of these tags my ramen is getting cold#other notable events of the day is martyn answering an ask about his martitties. im coping with that badly as well

sometimes. minecraft can be a horror game
#shoutout to that time a while ago i hadnt played minecraft in a long time#and didnt know what all new was added#nighttime comes and i havent figured out where i wanna live yet so i just go out into the ocean to be safe from monsters#THEN THERES THIS FREAKY ASS SOUND IVE NEVER HEARD BEFORE AND ITS DARK AS SHIT AND I CANT SEE WHATS ATTACKING ME IN THE WATER#this is how i first encountered a drowned. never knew they existed til that#minecraft#also any time an enemy attacks me is a jumpscare </3#it makes me jump then im just frantic like OH SHIT SOMETHING WHATS ATTACKING ME WHERE IS IT#playing in first person is not for me but im so used to it so third person minecraft feels so weird :(#also im always too scared of entering caves fjdkjfj too many areas thatre dark even as i light up my way#so many paths for enemies to come from#not to mention the nether and end which im entirely unfamiliar with#so not really nowing the specifics of the enemies n such makes me more nervous to explore it#someday i need to just turn on keepinventory and just do a playthrough of checking out caves and the nether n the end#finally familiarize myself with traversing them so ill finally hopefully not be so nervous to in the future
