Suddenly decided to show some recent photos of my beloved haikyuu boys. This photoshoot was quite challenging though it looks plain.

It’s not the first time we dive into kuroken, but the latest time was a year ago, our skills grew, so Shun (Kuroo) and I decided to remake the shoot (actually if you want to see our first attempt, let me know 👉🏻👈🏻).

The first difficulty we faced was that among all the photo studios in our city there were no sport location. According to my view on the future pictures we had to go with impulse lights (im not sure if thats right definition of the equipment, simply these are lights that switch on only when camera takes a shot). The reason was all about the abilities of my old camera, that was not really good working with natural lights and i wanted to create some kind of evening atmosphere. So we searched and searched until the day we saw a location with some gym equipment on it. That was better than nothing.

But. There was a really big BUT in the studio. We booked an hour and usually that was enough to get everything done. But the stuff did not work properly so we lost time only with waiting for our light (and it was the most standard pack that we asked about).

Then came the second difficulty. I was to pretend training though I’m terrible at sports. I was shaking, my body hurt, sweat was damaging the makeup, and the only thing that saved me was that Kenma was not really much of an athlete.

In the end exhausted as hell we decided to move a little on the location and that was a bright idea. My favorite pictures on the bed resting were shot when i was almost praying for the set to end.

Anyway it turned out great, i tenderly love these photos, but the story behind makes me not want to remake them again.

just imagining kenma getting lost at a convention with you (was almost me at the con we attended lmao)

"um... babe?" kenma mutters in a soft voice, a voice that could easily be drowned out by the myriad of anime music coming from the loudspeakers, the sound effects of the retro video games others were playing at, and the voices of the cosplayers, merchants, attendees, and workers at the convention.

the flashing lights and the amount of people in cosplay in the crowds made the poor boy dizzy; he knew what you looked like, but amongst the crowd of people it was hard to see where exactly you were. he just let go of your hand for a minute to buy a poster of his favorite game, and in that minute he let go of you, you were gone from the last stall he saw you at.

kenma could feel the hairs on the back of his neck stand, like how a startled cat's fur would stand in stressful situations. his heart pounded in his chest, and a pool of sweat was starting to form on the back of his shirt. he treaded through the crowd of people, nearly getting stampeded on, in a desperate attempt to search for you.

he called out your name, though his voice came out more timid than he'd like it to. he was so frustrated, he felt like now would be a good time to go to the side, curl up into a ball, and wait for you to find him. and, yes, he did do all that for a few minutes–until he took out his phone and texted you.

kenma was feeling a mix of relief and frustration. he was relieved you were coming to get him, he wanted nothing more than to be in your arms and by your side again, but he was frustrated at himself for being unable to find you and handle his feelings of being overwhelmed by himself.

kenma struggles to cope with the weight of his emotions, thinking he burdened you by letting go of your hand and now being lost for you to find. however, hearing your voice and seeing you run up to him, a soft smile on your face as you sit next to him, asking him if he's okay... it oddly makes him feel better. this is the healing effect you have on his weary mind, and he couldn't be any more grateful for you.

he leans over to you, burying his face in the crook of your neck and mumbles out his replies. "i'm sorry i got lost..." he mutters as you wrap your arms around him, kissing the side of his head. "i'll never let go of your hand again, i promise... i'll wrap you in a big hug..." he whispers, wrapping his arms around you in return, squeezing you a little. "...and i'll stay with you, wherever you wanna go, i'll go with you."

you chuckle and kiss his cheek. "and wherever you'll go... i'll definitely be there, kenken." you reply, smiling sweetly at him, dissipating thoughts of him burdening you with your gentleness. he kisses your lips softly, smiling when he pulls away, blushing a bit. "that'd be great..." he mumbles, resting his head on your shoulder, calming down as the event goes on, with you two staying in the corner, resting for a bit and enjoying being in each other's presence, like nothing else in the world matters except this moment in time.

the thing that these cosplayers on tik tok do not understand is that kenma—professional gamer and streamer—would do just fine on tik tok. it’s kuroo who would be TERRRIBLE at it. that man does not know how to work the front facing camera. his lip synching is five seconds behind the song. he cannot dance. are you really telling me he would be charming and popular on that app.

who would be a furry?

out of all of the characters, i could genuinely see nishinoya as furry and maybe tendou as well.

i feel like tendou’s fursona would be a rabbit or like, something unusual? nishinoya's is definitely a dog.

who would dress alternatively?

semi definitely dresses alternatively, you cannot tell me otherwise. maybe punk / emo? i could also see scene shirabu and tendou. i feel like kageyama would be grunge. i feel like saeko is punk. i can see goth kiyoko.

who would use neopronouns?

yachi, hinata, and yamaguchi all would use neopronouns.

yachi's would be ; ribbon / bun / love

hinata's would be ; sun / cloud / pup

yamiguchi's would be ; rain / moon / bat

who is a therian?

i can see tanaka and tsukishima as a therian, to be honest. i think tsukishima would never admit to it, though.

We watched the Haikyuu movie and I can't express how cool it was like I really liked it it was so awesome and also met with a pair of Hinata and Kenma cosplayers they were so cool and nice!

My friends there actually got concerned by me after it I was so hyped xD

*screaming* This is so cool!! I respect cosplayers so much! I didn't even see if the people from my screening had any anime merch (or if they saw my sweatshirt with Sakusa and keychains with Hinata and Sugawara :') ), because when we entered the room, it was already dark and they started playing commercials. So I'm jealous because such views make me happy!

Hahaha I wonder what they will think when they see you after Episode Nagi :')
