Faust, Act II: Le veau d'or: "The erudite Faust is highly successful yet dissatisfied with his life, which leads him to make a pact with the Devil at a crossroads, exchanging his soul for unlimited knowledge and worldly pleasures. Faust and the adjective Faustian imply sacrificing spiritual values for power, knowledge, or material gain. Along the seductive path to riches and power, Faust realizes his salvation is tragically bound to others, including those he loves most."

Today is an incredible day because our Barry Gibb is a Kennedy Center Honoree!! The big shindig takes place in December and airs on CBS. I couldn’t be any happier than I am right now! I was watching when the announcement was made and started yelling and then crying. This man deserves ALL the accolades and recognition. I’m so happy!! 😭😭😭
I saw Spamalot last night at the Kennedy Center in DC and I don’t think I went more than 4 minutes without laughing. The cast all seemed to be having the best freaking time and the audience was fantastic.
