sorry, still thinking about puppy leon and his big eyes and pouty lips when you have to put him in his kennel :((

he has a nice one, plenty of room for him so he doesn't get sore or uncomfortable, and it has his favorite blanket and toys, and he even steals your sweaters sometimes so he can smell your scent. he doesn't mind being in the kennel if you're home, sometimes he just likes napping in there rather than other places, but as soon as you have to lock it? he gets so sad !! he knows that he'll be alone and he doesn't like it :( and you promise it's just for a bit, that you'll be back as soon as you can, but he still hates it. he begs you to leave the door open, whining softly and living up to those puppy dog eyes. but you know that he'll end up wandering around (even if he promised not to) and he might do something bad, or worse, get hurt. it wouldn't be the first time you came home to something broken or him having an accident. and you know it's not really his fault, he's just a little puppy after all, but it doesn't make it okay either. you try to explain that it's for his own good, and eventually he does stop whining, but he still begs with those eyes and it always twists your heart.

what's even more painful is hearing his soft howl-like cries as you leave through the door, knowing that all he wants is to be around you :(

While mers love to have fun in many many ways and might toss around the occasional pufferfish of their own- mers don't often find the 'drunk' feeling of pufferfish to be very beneficial to raising their young or staying aware of danger. Especially when dolphins pose the threat they do! Many pups are taught from a young age that dolphins are dangerous and should be avoided- and just to keep peace, dolphins and mers tend to avoid each other's migration patterns and inshore territories. The girls are no exception to that, and Leon, Ada and the rest of their home pod often remind them of that when they want to go out and about.

When RE2 Leon is sick, he hates it but takes full actual advantage.

He full on pretends to be a little bitch baby when he’s sick.

He’s the living example of the ‘🥺’ emoji.

Just ‘babe, I don’t feel good. Can you hold me please? 🥺’

‘I forgot my tea in the kitchen can you get it for me? 🥺’

‘Can I have a kiss? I think it’ll help me feel better…🥺’

Kinda annoying to be honest but he’s cute so it’s fine.

He’s pretty much immune to the more serious stuff like covid or strep. You have no idea how.

When he does get sick, it’s usually the minor yearly stuff like the flu or cold.

He sleeps through a majority of it. Just takes his medicine and conks the fuck out.

He actually bounces back quick. Bad cold? He’s out for a day but ready to go by tomorrow. Fever? Yea he’s in bed for a good 24 hours but he’s up and at work by the next day.

However, if you get sick after him, he feels SO BAD.

He will cuddle you because of the guilt. He did this to you, so he’s gonna make it better.

Has puppy eyes like ‘babe, I’m sorry 🥺’

Sickness? Never heard of her.

Leon Will absolutely pretend he’s fine even if he’s coughing up blood or on the verge of passing out.

Denies it if his fever is 100 or above.

He absolutely feels like shit but refuses to do anything about it.

He pushes on, and pretends he’s fine.

However, if he feels terrible enough he’s gonna take random amounts of cough medicine and ibuprofen.

Which is enough to cause him to black out.

You walk in on him on the floor, when you wake him up he’ll say some stupid shit like, ‘just testing gravity. It works.’

Drag his ass to bed and he’ll try and get up again. He’s like a cat that you try to put in a box.

The only time he actually accepts when he’s sick is if it’s bad enough to put him in the damn hospital.

Even then he’s gotta be coughing up blood and bone for him to even be open to the idea.

It’s not coming from a place of self neglect. He’s just been through a TON of shit and if he could get through that, he can get through anything else.

But let’s say you managed to get him in bed, and get him to rest. he’s going to try and sleep through it. Again, takes too much medicine and accidentally causes his own comatose.

If you wake him up, he will be incoherent and groggy. Maybe a little high.

he’s incredibly grateful when you make him tea, or bring him soup.

If you lay down next to him, he’s gonna legit snuggle into one.

It’s a rare sight, RE4 Leon letting you hold him. He tucks his arms up and smushes his face into your chest.

He’s cute. Like a little sick miserable puppy. He snores like a mother fucker when he’s sick though.
