Celestial Underground Au: The ‘First’ Meet

It was a nice day outside. Plenty of children playing out in the park, their parents and older siblings keeping an eye on them. The Creator’s forces had yet to start effecting the community to the point where people felt the need to keep their children inside or away from obvious public spaces too often.

We see a little boy, 7 years old at most, go to sit on a bench that was closer to the exit than the park’s playground, only one other person was on that bench. He was sad, tears already forming before he had gotten close to the bench. After sitting he started to cry some more, clutching 2 little wooden drum sticks in his tiny hands.

The older figure, about 24 years old, glanced at the young Moon model. Their own face obscured by their hood, unrecognizable to most anymore. They asked the younger one a question..

?: “Hey buddy, now what’s wrong?”

Nexus, sniffling through his words: *sniff* “P-papa Kc said- *hic* said th-that he can’t make it to the talent show.!”

?: “Oh… that sounds bad. Were you going to do something in the talent show?”

Nexus: “Mhmm… I-i was gonna play the drums! I practiced super duper- extra hard so he’d see how better I am now!…”

He held up his little drum sticks to the older figure. They could see the importance of this to the boy.. and against his better judgment he couldn’t let the kid be heartbroken like this…

The figure stood from the bench.. turning back to Nexus.

..?: “You know.. I know it probably wouldn’t make up for your Papa Kc not being there, but..”

He knelt down to meet Nexus to eye level, lowering his hood…

Sun: “I’d love to hear you play the drums, I’m sure you’re great at playing..”

Nexus: “Y-you think?..”

Sun: “How about I go and see just how good you are at playing in the talent show since Papa can’t make it?”

Nexus: *sniffle* “You… wanna see me play?”

Sun: “I’d love nothing more..”

Nexus looked towards the figure, there was something comforting about being around him..

Nexus’s stomach then began rumbling, it was around lunchtime after all..

Sun: “Are you hungry buddy?”

Nexus: “A little bit..”

Sun: “..Then how about I take you to get some lunch today? It’s on me.”

Nexus looked at him in slight amazement.

Nexus: “You- you mean it?”

Sun: “Of course! Drummers need a lot of energy and I can’t just let a little drummer not get the energy he needs!”

Nexus got up from the bench, him and Sun were walking as Nexus was trying to think of and suggest some possible places to eat from. Sun remembered to ask an important question along their little walk..

Sun: “Can you remind me for when this talent show is going to be? I wouldn’t want to miss it.”

Nexus: “It’s on the twenty- uhhhh twenty- the twenty-eighth!”

Sun: “Oh! What a nice surprise! That’s my birthday.”

Nexus: “Really?!!”

Sun: “Mhm!”

Nexus: “Well now I gotta make my drumming super extra special for your birthday now!”

Sun: “Oh- you don’t have to do that bud-”

Nexus: “But I gotta make it special because it’s for your birthday too!”

Sun wanted to argue back, but he could already tell Nexus wasn’t backing now. At least now his little brother isn’t sad anymore..

Two AUs two flavors of KC

When I made Living With a Gremlin I didn’t expect for it to be the serious AU but here we are! I didn’t like how KC was implemented in the show but I like the ideas,,, just separately. Gremlin KC remains an antagonist and is a major threat. Silly Celestials KC chooses good at the start and singlehandedly turns his AU into a good timeline by being a himbo dad. Both very fun in their own rights

I didn’t expect Saturday’s Sun & Moon Show episode to go that way. Was already planing to draw them on the beach, but instead this came to be

Alright, so. I saw the question posted somewhere else, about if we (the person being asked) had to choose, would we keep Moon or Nexus. And I'm thinking that again,, really hard

Yes, Moon started off as an ass to Sun. He was straight up abusive and cruel, for seemingly no reason, BUT ever since he came back, he's made a lot of improvements. Sometimes he has slip-ups, but he's learning, and he's becoming a better person. As an added bonus, he doesn't have his killcode anymore, so his aggression and hostility aren't really a problem anymore. Even if he has his moments, he does his best to keep himself under control. Another thing about him is that he would go to the end of the galaxy and back if it meant protecting his family. He's flawed, but he'd give everything to make sure his loved ones were safe

Meanwhile, if we kept Nexus.... big yikes. We saw the simulation before that showed him killing Moon, torturing and eventually killing Solar, and then torturing and abusing Sun, treating him as nothing more than a tool. There's a very, VERY slim, barely not even there chance that he could eventually have some kind of wake up call, but I don't see it happening; not with the way he refuses to let go of his anger and resentment and has sworn to make it his life's mission to make Sun suffer as much as possible. He wants Sun to be miserable. He wants him to hurt. He wants him to be completely alone. He wants to take away everything and everyone that Sun loves and cares about. His whole plan to kill everyone that Sun loves? That'd include Moon, Solar, Jack, Dazzle, Earth, Monty, Muffin, and Cleo. And probably more. Nexus wants to kill Sun's loved ones, which INCLUDES animals and literal children. That being said,,

My thoughts about the celestial family

After watching the last few episodes of the Sun and Moon and Lunar and Earth shows, I'm wondering how weak their family bond is.

Don't get me wrong, the shows are great! There is so much drama and can't wait to see what happens next 🤩

But I like to discuss the Celestia family.

I'm struggling to see social cues and can read situations wrong, but I kind of feel baffled and disappointed in the family.

From the outside, you see a found family with a strong bond and be there for each other. But the inside...

I try to find the right words here.

The family adopts people who did things wrong intentionally or unintentionally in the past into their family and friend group without being mindful of WHO they are/were. Lunar, Killcode, Molten, Clips, Nexus. And as soon they do something wrong again (which you should expect at some point because of their past and trauma) instead of seeing and work what was the cause of it, they reject them and talk about killing them. (Ruin is an exception)

Killcode, yeah he was evil but as soon he became good, Moon sacrificed himself for him. He was no friend or family. He got his own body and lived his life until he died.

Nexus, in my eyes, wasn't evil but was mentally very sick cause of the toxic relationship with the family. He needed to find his own personality but his family and friends were no help, treated him like a nice Moon. In the therapy sessions, he told them about the issues and I think the solution would have been to distance himself from the others and find his own personality. But by his madness, he chose to use dark star power (like taking substances) to feel in control. I think his family did kinda take his control away from the beginning, not just Ruin or Bloodmoon, the control to choose who he is, to build his own personality. But it got worse after Solar's death. And he was killed.

Now little Lunar, who had so much trauma, hanging out with gods who don't feel emotions like him. They can't help him with his trauma or say the right words which can easily cause misunderstandings.

He was seeking his purpose and got in contact with the wrong people. This is not surprising because the first person he looked up to was Eclipse, his abusive Ex-brother. People (not all of them) who grew up with abusive families tend to end up in relationships or hanging out with bad people because they feel a sort of comfort in them.

He got tricked and accidentally hurt Earth and instead of getting the whole picture, his family and friends were already discussing about killing him or not. What? There were so many red flags that he needed help with his trauma with Eclipse and Earth (not to offend her) was not the right "therapist" for that. It was just waiting to go wrong.

Also, has this something to do with what Dark Sun did? Suddenly every Sun or other is lashing out at the Moons. Lunar is a Moon, and now is imprisoned and his family discusses killing or rejecting him. 🤔

I think this family can easily adopt people into their group but they are not able to keep them for long.

If I understood here something wrong, then I apologize.

Now after SAMS newest ep + EAPS newest ep, I have now created fun hcs for my human au (+pre-existing two for Elias/Eclipse :D)‼️

1) Lester (Lunar) uses his powers unconsciously when hes drunk which they found out during a night out with the Celestial Family adults (they never let Lester get his hands on alcohol ever again)

2) Alastor (Atlas) has long glowing hair that he doesnt brush so often—however, Samuel (Sun) did NOT let this slide, so now Alastor's hair is very much without tangles now :3

3) Sorell (Solar) did not have time to change out of his work outfit when he got called to the principal's office bc Jack (..Jack) got in trouble. He had oil stains on his clothes (+accidentally carrying a toolbox) and was embarrassed the entire time, but he pulled through :3

I also added a small (stubble?? line-beard???) for Sorell now :D

I always had this hc that Elias (Eclipse) could speak in any language due to his Entity nature (same with Lester and the rest of the Solid Entities), but mainly in Spanish.

Have you ever had the person working at the theatre at your local plex suddenly curse you in Spanish? Some stubborn adults have when they push Elias to his limits lmao

Fun fact: Eclipse looks exactly like Kane (Killcode) if he puts his hair up in a half bun :O!!
