Shopping with B.A.P

(A/N) I’ve hit a wall with literally every single thing I’ve been trying to write recently and just.. Ugh. So instead, there’s this, which I wrote as distraction. And because I really wanna go buy some new clothes.

-YONGGUK-

At first it seems that dragging him out to go shopping might be impossible, though rather quickly you understood that it wasn't all that hopeless of a thought. He clearly wasn't too interested in it, but at the same time, he figured he didn’t mind too much either. Also, he seemingly thought that you were spending a dangerously small amount of time together, and thought that this might just make it up for his recent departures. So when walking into the mall hand in hand with you, he doesn’t even doubt that this will be a nice day. To be honest, he’ll sign up to anything containing you, so why not a shopping trip?

He is the quiet admirer. Mostly not saying anything and just obediently walking around and silently following you, he takes enjoyment in seeing you finding things you like, which causes gummy smiles. And gummy smiles cause your heart to melt, so it’s just an indefinite cycle of quiet yet appreciative affection as you stroll through the shops and try to look for what you need. He is also the walking clothing hanger - throw piles upon piles of clothes at him, and he will not mind carrying them all. But on the downside (or maybe not), expect no advice given - he can't form a proper sentence regarding fashion and your choices of it despite looking fly most of the time - but you'll know you hit the jackpot by the way his eyes light up immediately as you put on and show off the winner item of clothing from all the ones you've picked. Also, expect him to accept you in literally anything. A turtleneck or a see-through mesh top, he doesn't quite care. You somehow always look gorgeous to him anyways and, truth to be told, he just cares about your comfort and happiness. So if you’re happy with it and are feeling comfortable in your own skin, it’s alright by him.

He will get things for himself if something catches his eye, and won't really specifically look out for something, unless he really, really needs something. Also, the end of this trip might result into a spontaneous trip to the sushi place to pick up takeout or maybe even eat on spot. Yongguk would simply sit across and listen to your babbling about how good the day went with a smile, as he liked it himself a lot too.

-HIMCHAN-

He is (more or less surprisingly) up for this - well, if you forcefully wake him from a nap to go shopping, he might just resume sleeping instead, but otherwise he's already in the car at one mere mention of a shopping trip and is nagging at you to come quicker since he gets bored of waiting around.

Himchan is the endless commentator. His remarks never stop as you walk around, his eyes scanning over every other piece of clothing that you pick up. Oh, this dress? But isn't it a little too revealing in the shoulder region, or is it alright with you? He thinks about your comfort zone before anything else, and as you say it's fine, he reminds you it ain't summer yet, so maybe you should get something warmer for now at least. Though when you start putting things on and showing them off to him, that's when you'll know his true verdict, as once he sees something he likes a lot, his lips curl into a satisfied smirk and cheesy praises slip from the tip of his tongue without remorse and without end. Oh yes, he will let you know exactly how that top brings out your eyes, or how he thought this type of dress wasn’t the most trendy anymore, but upon seeing you in it thought you might just bring the trend back if anyone sees you in it because hot damn you look good. Or how he can't wait to remove that skirt the very first time you'll wear it as it just gives off those vibes, chuckling at your playful punch to his gut and your remark about him having been so sweet all day just to ruin it with one simple inappropriate sentence.

When it comes to shopping for himself, he will have an idea in mind for what he wants, but will need tons of help to decide on it. Do those jeans make his butt look big? Should he take the white or the grey shirt? Prepare to help him decide, for he will love you forever if you do so. Although, he will love you forever nonetheless. He’s just a big ball of fluff.

After that, he might also want to go for food. Sushi is an opportunity you could use, though he could also settle for something more small-restaurant like. And prepare for endless conversation about the new items - he loves talking about this stuff. And loves your excitement you offer him in return.

-DAEHYUN-

So, shopping.. Why not? He has a day off of his schedules, and honestly? Whatever makes his boo happy, so if it's strolling around tons of shops to find something nice to wear, why not? After all, he'll be the true winner in any situation anyways. Yeah, you'll be the one wearing those clothes, but at the end of the day, he'll be the one silently checking you out in those clothes all the time. Sometimes not too silently though. Daehyun is loud by default. Appreciative too.

He's the mix between a lost pup and someone who knows exactly what's up. He's just got these moments when he might quite randomly point at things you'll end up falling in love with on first glance, since he knows you well, and at this point is already aware of things your usual style contains. He will tease, he will babble, but he will also stand and wait for you to try everything on for a looong time, wanting you to take your time in order to chose something you'll really like. His opinions aren't flat out, though he tries to tell you if he doesn't like something in particular. But on most occasions, you have to just roll your eyes and decide on your own, since apparently for Daehyun, you look pretty in anything. And though you love him for being this sweet, it makes him quite useless when it comes to receiving fashion advice from him.

A thing that might catch his eye is anything that resembles couples stuff. Oh, you are planning on getting that gray hoodie? He's certain he saw a similar one just now in the men's section, and at your pout about how he wants to act all cringey and clingy with you, he has to face defeat and simply admit that yes, he wants to match. Cause you're cute, and maybe your cuteness will rub off on him if you'll match. Also, maybe this will show more than well that you're taken (a.k.a. Dae wants to show his affection in a flashy way)

Afterwards, it's probably also food, loud and energetic talks, and a lil bit of that good ol' hand holding, since you're so happy and he just feels so warm and fuzzy on the inside, glad to have you by his side.

-YOUNGJAE-

His smirk spreads a little wider as you make puppy eyes at him and ask him really, really nicely to agree to go. If only you knew how much he's actually up for this.. You wouldn't let him live it down. So instead, he tries to play it cool, saying "sure" in a fashion that shows he is doing this because why not? He doesn't have any other plans either. Though deep inside he is looking forwards to it more than he shows, and when it does leak through his facade at some points, you're happy he is so bad at covering it up. It's cute.

He's the forever (un)helpful adviser. Unhelpful to an extent, that is. It all starts off with mild sarcasm and jokes. All this "aah, (Y/N), do you have to take ages to look at yourself from all angles??" or complaints about how he has stuff to do back at home and how his precious supply of time isn’t endless. But once he senses this might irritate you and you might get upset, his tips actually start getting useful. Bonus points if he gets coffee or something on his way all through the mall - this will help him relax, and he will still usher you every now and then, but he’ll understand that he has to be patient.

Youngjae is someone to encourage you to try on something new that you don't usually wear. He'll understand when you tell him that something simply won't do, but when he sees you hesitating and doubting a pick yet not immediately discarding of the idea, he won't take no as an answer - you have to at least try it on. And he'll be brutally honest - if it doesn't suit you, he'll tell you, but sometimes you come out of that dressing room looking like a goddess (according to Youngjae, you always do look like a goddess, but a goddess with a new fashion style is what he means) and at those times, his jaw visibly drops, and though you feel flustered and your cheeks heat up as you remark him to show some restrain, you feel flattered by the glances he throws you. Those are full of love, and when he bathes you in them you indeed feel like a goddess.

Having a sense of fashion is tiring, so in the evening you end up watching TV on the couch. Poking at each other and enjoying the comfort of your time spent together.

-JONGUP-

Honestly? Whatever.

Jongup’s the definition of the “whatever” attitude, and not in a bad way. He nods briefly upon your request, and starts getting ready right after. You may even tease him about his lack of enthusiasm or any emotion really. “Jongup-ah, why do you always look so uninterested in things?” to which he, once again, just does a “whatever” shrug. He thinks shopping is cool, he likes fashion. He just isn’t the one to jump around happily after hearing such a request from you, but to make it up, he awkwardly wiggles his arms in the air and has you laughing at it like mad. Bingo. He’s a charmer in his own way.

Jongup is the hidden fashion advice gem. He weirdly seems to know what’s up even before you tell him what you are looking for. In fact - don’t do that, because once you walk into the store and let yourselves lose, his eyes just automatically scan over all the aisles, hangers, mannequins and everything, and once he squints at something in particular, you know it’s going to be a killer piece of clothing, in any possible way. From graphic shirts with silly yet somehow hilarious quotes to stunning dresses in the right styles, lengths or with just the right amount of skin showing to feel both pretty and comfortable - he’s got it. Beware, folks, for Jongup’s squint only appears when he sees something good. Or when he isn’t sure what exactly he sees because please get that boy some glasses or he might mistake a mannequin for you. But you ignore those times. He’s your lovely fashion expert in any way.

He himself will stroll through isles and make you laugh as you silently play a game of “how many jackets can Jongup wear simultaneously and still look good”, which, side note - so far it’s been three. His clothing combos can get weird real quick, but somehow, he looks good no matter how many questionable items he’d got on, and the fact that he doesn’t quite give a damn about everyone’s opinion only makes it better. Okay, that’s a lie. He does care when you tell him he looks good or cute or all that stuff. You never notice, but his cheeks do tint a little darker as you do that, and he appreciates it. Now this is something his “whatever” attitude isn’t immune against.

On your way back home? Takeout. Or McDonald’s. Or on a perfect day, takeout from McDonald’s.

-ZELO-

Junhong’s got this. He’s got this before you even ask him to go. You open your mouth to speak, but he's a step ahead of you. “Baby, so how about we go on a mall date?” and voila, you’re walking down the street to get there hand-in-hand because cars are too mainstream, and look around at the nice weather, the different faces all around and the leafs lightly swaying in the wind. Junhong’s got this, making it a date, on top of all. He’s just a big cheese ball anyways.

Junhong is the fashion hunter. He walks into the store hand-in-hand with you, and unlike others (ahem Jongup ahem), he will not stroll off to look on his own like ever. Okay, maybe just for a bit, but mostly, he’s right there by your side and you help each other decide on what you want to get an all, and how the items you have chosen look on you. I feel like you’ll spend an equal amount of time looking for both, his and your clothing - he can get a little picky, and isn’t really an “I wear whatever” type of guy. But this whole adventure really seems more like an actual adventure than a shopping trip. Since he’d called it a date, he will make it seem like one. You won’t hurry anywhere, he’ll let you take all the time of the world on this and will do the same himself. He’ll carry your bags, he’ll playfully walk down the mall and point at shop windows to completely roast, discuss or immediately dismiss items displayed there, and will make silly faces at you alongside taking questionable selcas. Junhong’s got this. He’s a fun guy, he knows how to treat you. He’s a treat himself, you keep reminding him of that when he goes out of his way to please you, but who is he to not do that? It’s a good day, it’s a good mood. So all that keeps his boo happy does the same to him.

Once again, since this is more like a date, you’ll probably still wander off somewhere else for something fun activities. But since you have to take Mochii out for a walk once you come home, after all of this expect another sweet hand-in-hand walk back home just because Junhong’s got this. He knows how to make a day good by just being himself and being nice. He’s always got this.

(I may have forgotten to mention, I can’t remember.. Have I by any chance already said that Junhong’s got this?)
