I watched the cartoon "Koo! Kin-dza-dza " and GOD IT'S BEAUTIFUL. This is the gold of Russian animation, the cartoon was released relatively recently in 2013 and looks very good, I will not describe it, look for yourself, you will not regret it. I drew my favorite characters Bi and Uef, well, of course I liked Bi more (*^^*)

i don't have a favorite per se, but i'll link two sci fi productions that i think are really worth a watch, Mystery Of The Third Planet & Kin-Dza-Dza. Both are fully on youtube with english subtitles:)

this one is a comedy, but there is also some interesting social commentary going on, with how the protags are a Russian and a Georgian man. I've watched the first part, going to watch the second one soon, alltogether it's like 2 hours.

here i absolutely love the art and the soundtrack, it's a fun and short watch!
