"Why... Why didn't you kill me...?"

The voice that spoke to you was quiet, quieter than anything you've ever heard him say before. Because now here you stood in front of him. No longer separated by a screen you spent days looking at, no longer needing a vessel to explore the world around you, no longer needing headphones to clearly hear the voice that spoke to you. The violet eyes stared at you, so beautiful yet so confused, searching yours in an attempt to understand.

Why hadn't you killed him...?

He knew what you were, which only made him more confused. Why hadn't you taken his life? You defeated him. He was weak, pathetic, not strong enough to even become a vessel for a gnosis. Why hadn't you got rid of him? Just like everyone else?

Why did you look at him with such sadness? Your eyes conveying so many emotions that he still could never understand.

Were you not satisfied? You had defeated him. Was it not enough? What did you want from him?

You watched as the sun set on the horizon, basking in the warm rays until the moon came. The sky was much more beautiful than the ones from your world.

"When we defeat a villain, we feel satisfied. Because most villains don't admit defeat. They taunt us, call us names, prove to us they still have power. We take their life's work, and we don't feel bad because they refuse to believe they have lost.

But the look in your eyes, when you saw Lesser Lord Kusanali take away the electro gnosis. You were desperate. You were scared.

You were tossed aside because you couldn't fulfill your purpose. Then you were betrayed

You were scared of being mortal again, of being helpless, being hurt, and in your own eyes, a failure. You only wanted a purpose in your life... you were betrayed by your mother, and you were empty because you weren't able to complete the purpose you were created for. Your entire existence was centered around being a vessel for the gnosis, your only purpose in life ever since you were born.

And in every other instance where you tried to find a purpose outside of it... it had ended in betrayal and tragedy.

That's why you took the gnosis... because it was your purpose, your ambition.

And then I took that away from you.

I do not feel satisfied with my victory, because at the same time, I took away everything you worked your whole life for.

The wanderer did not know how to respond, a wetness running down his cheeks as he realized he had started crying. He reached over to his face to wipe it off, but you quickly seize his hand.

He halts, looking at you through teary eyes that tell you. He doesn't it understand.

You only smile softly, bring the hand that held his towards his cheek, cupping it gently. You wipe the tears from leaking from his eyes and you promise him.

"When you fell... I was scared. I will never be satisfied from my victory. Not until I give you the world you deserve after all that pain..."

It was silent at night as the stars shone in the night sky. You stared in to his eyes with such love and care, something that made him feel warm inside. The stars in the sky reflected those violet orbs, making them all the more magnificent.

The stars may be fake, but they were more beautiful than anything you had ever seen back home.

Imagine Wheezy sending this to Greasy (Who constantly plucks cigarettes right outta Wheezy's fingers and chucks them away cuz the smell is disgusting.) when Greasy leaves the patrol. Why did he leave?...

Maybe- he moved in with Shiny, and Wheezy is sending this equally because he misses the bastard (Smartass is cookin all their meals now- of course Greasy is missed. not at all because he's loved, anyway *cough*. no of course its not that) and because he thought it might tick the pervert off and Wheezy was bored XD

Maybe- the toon Patrol b r o k e u p and Wheezy decides to reach out to Greasy after a while. He doesn't know where the hell Psycho ended up, he doesn't wanna lead Stupid on to think he actually wants to get the group back together or be friendly again (He's still... deciding), and Smartass would be just too big of a pain. So... *shrug* Greasy.

Maybe- he got fed up with the group not appreciating him and strikes out on his own (You'll miss all this, mark my words! You heathens'll be living in squalor no time! *door slam*). Everyone is sure he'll be back after a couple days but its been a week and Wheezy's developing some doubts.
