We agree with you...”the body does remember.” And you truly never forget. We love the lifting of the legs. #sostrong Btw- you don’t need the wall. 😉 #byc #beachyogacentre #ashtanga #vinyasa #yoga #torontobeaches #torontolife #kingofasanas #sirsasana 🙏🏾🐶🐘👍🏾🧘🏽‍♂️🧘‍♀️🧘🏿‍♀️🤸🏿‍♀️🤸‍♀️ #Repost @chill_ana ・・・ 2 things . #1 - if you've had to pause, slow down your physical exercise/ yoga practice for whatever reason, don't give up. It is true that the body "remembers" and it will probably take less time than you think to get back to wherever you were. I've been practicing much less the past 6 months, but, a #headstand is a big hint and a check point to me, that everything is pretty decent :-) #2 Apart from 6 months last year going to the gym (which was awesome), and a few months back in 2016, I swear I've never did ab/core specific work and exercises. What you see is largely, largely just #ashtanga practice and a pretty chill one. Can you imagine the possibilities with a true daily practice ? 🤯 Sped up 4x. I'm working on lowering down now, haha. #ashtangayoga #iloveyoga #yogaforeveryone #tallwomanyoga #sirsasana #thisisfortysomething #43 #torontoyoga #yogastudio #getbackoutthere #dontgiveup (at Beach Yoga Center) https://www.instagram.com/p/B04bvGgHT_b/?igshid=1o70g8wcxzfym

SIRSASANA
SIRSHA - head In this ASANA, blood flows to the brain’s pituitary and pineal glands. Our growth, health and vitality depend on the proper functioning of these two glands. This pose develops the body. Disciplines the mind. Broadens a spiritual horizon. One becomes balanced and self reliant in pain and pleasure, loss and gain, shame and fame, defeat and victory.
