The Kito-gumi

Descended from a samurai family who lost their status due to the Meiji Restoration, the Kito-gumi are one of Japan's most powerful Yakuza families. Founded over 150 years old, it was not until recently that they rose to their current position. Having begun as nothing more than one of the many families in Shizuoka who fought for control of the area, This all changed one night as the former head was murdered by his illegitimate daughter Sakura, who declared herself head soon after. Many in the group were divided by this. A female? As head? Preposterous. It was then that Sakura decided to prove them wrong.

Sakura, knowing she needed people she could trust, gathered people from all walks of life. From females to foreigners, and even whores it did not matter to Sakura; these people became members of her Council. With each one becoming head of their own branch within the Kito-gumi, each having its own specialty.

1. "The Boss"

Full Name: Sakura Kito 

Age: 28

Position: Head of the Kito-gumi 

Weapon: Beretta 92Fs Inox

Bio: The illegitimate daughter of the former head. Sakura assumed power after killing her father, stepmother, and older brother one night. She is the 13th Head of the Kito-gumi and the first female to hold the title. Sakura took the Kito-gumi from one of the many gangs in Shizuoka to one of the most powerful in Japan.

2. "The Second"

Full Name: Shinji Aoki 

Age: 48

Position: Second in Command of the Kito-gumi

Weapon: Electric Cane

Bio: The only member of the Council from the previous generation. Shinji joined the Kito-gumi at the age of 18 back when it was under the rule of Sakura's father, Tsukasa Kito. By the time Sakura was brought into the Kito-gumi, Shinji had already risen to second in command under Tsukasa's rule. Allowing Sakura to shadow him when she was 12 Shinji was the one who showed her how the family works. It was even Shinji who showed Sakura how to fire a gun until she became better than him. 

Shinji due to both his age and an old injury that left him needing a cane prefers to deal with administrative duties letting his younger counterparts be the ones doing the heavy lifting. Sakura and the other members treat him with absolute respect and even view him as a father figure.

3. "The Arms Dealer"

Full Name: Irina Anatolyevna Dragunova

Age: 22 

Position: Head of the Arms Trafficking Branch

Weapon: Twin MAG-7s

Bio: Born in Moscow, Russia, Irina lived a peaceful life until she was 14 when burglars killed her family after a robbery went wrong. Sold to human traffickers, Irina spent the next 2 years in hell up until she ended up in the ports of Shizuoka. Having long since given up on ever being saved, Irina was surprised when, one day, the Kito-gumi busted the traffickers. When Sakura offered to send her back home, Irina declined, stating that she had nothing left for her back home. Deciding to stay with the woman who saved her, Irina joined the Kito-gumi rising through the ranks until she became the Head of the Arms Trafficking Branch. 

Cold as ice Irina is a master at using firearms with few able to match her skills. Despite her short stature and foreign heritage, Irina has proved herself as one of the deadliest members of the Kito-gumi.

4. "The Prostitute"

Full Name: Hikaru Kayama 

Age: 25 

Position: Head of the Prostitution Branch

Weapon: Dual Tessen

Bio: Becoming a prostitute under Maaya Funaki at age 15 to support his younger sister after their parents’ death. However, when he was 17, she was murdered by the boss of a rival gang. Hikaru soon became obsessed with exacting revenge and avenging his sister by any means necessary. He got his chance when he was 20 luring the boss into a compromising position by disguising himself as a woman. Slitting the man's throat so deep that Hikaru nearly decapitated him. Revenge completed Hikaru set the compound on fire, content to die and join his sister in the afterlife. To his surprise, he was rescued by Sakura who was impressed by what he had done and offered him a role in the Kito-gumi, something that he accepted. 

Flirty and a bit raunchy Hikaru uses this as a way to get people's guards down. He is protective of the prostitutes in his care calling them his "flowers" and letting everyone know that if you mess with them you have to deal with him.

5. "The Gambler"

Full Name: Lucille "Lucky Lucy" Takara 

Age: 23 

Position: Head of the Gambling Rings 

Weapon: Steel Throwing Cards and Exploding Dice 

Bio: The daughter of a Japanese father and a British mother Lucille was shocked when they abandoned her and left her with a debt totaling millions of yen. Taking up gambling as a way to quickly pay it off and much to her surprise seemed to have the devil's luck with it. Gaining notoriety as "Lucky Lucy" she quickly began to pay back her debt. Eventually, Lucky Lucy's luck run out when she decided to gamble against Sakura Kito. It’s unknown who won the game or what was wagered but it ended with Lucille joining the Kito-gumi and Sakura paying off the rest of her debt. When asked about what happened all Lucille does is smile and say they both won this game called life. 

Upbeat and charismatic, Lucille gets along great with everyone even her old rival Joey Kurusu of Kanazawa. Their rivalry was legendary throughout the gambling dens. She also considers Dice Arisugawa of Shibuya to be one of her favorite customers always finding it entertaining when he losses against her.

6. "The Extortionist"

Full Name:  Fengzhui Liu 

Age: 27

Position: Head of the Extortion Branch

Weapon: Pair of Butterfly Swords

Bio: The daughter of a traditionalist martial arts clan located in Henan, China. Fengzhui was a disappointment to her father who wanted a son to train. Deciding he would have a son, Fengzhui's father raised her as a boy even giving her a name traditionally reserved for boys. Tired of being forced to suppress her femininity Fengzhui left her clan and eventually joined the Triads as a mercenary. This did not last long as when during a trip to Japan Fengzhui was betrayed by her employer who had hired several others to take her out. Lying there dying Fengzhui was found by Sakura who took her in for treatment saving her life. Owing to Sakura a debt for saving her life Fengzhui joined the Kito-gumi rising through the ranks and becoming Head of its Extortion Branch. 

A woman of few words Fengzhui prefers to let her fists do the talking for her using her martial art skills to get people to comply with her demands. Occasionally Fengzhui can be found sparring against Mei Yu of Toshima both having known each from their days in China.

7. "The Enforcer"

Full Name: ??? / "Nurarihyon" 

Age: 21

Position: Head of the Hyakki Yagyō

Weapon: Katana 

Bio: It’s unknown what Nurarihyon’s real name is or even her origins. All anybody knows is that one day Sakura came back with a half-feral person who didn't even know how to read or write. What she did know was how to fight and wield a blade with masterful precision. She joined the group soon after taking on the alias Nurarihyon and became the leader of the Hyakki Yagyō the Kito-gumi’s all-female enforcer squad. 

Nurarihyon is extremely mischievous and often pulls pranks on her fellow heads. Despite this, she takes her position as head of the Hyakki Yagyō very seriously and is well known throughout the underworld as someone you don't mess with.

The day was finally coming to an end in Toyama. One Yano Ietsuna was in his home spending this Valentine’s Day wallowing around in his loneliness. That's why it came as a surprise when he heard the front door ring. Walking over he opened the door revealing to his horror Sakura Kito standing on his doorstep.

 “S-sakura?” Yano stuttered horrified to see the leader of the Kito-gumi standing in front of him. Oh god had he done something to anger her? Oh God was she here to bury him in the forests of Toyama?

“Normally I would have one of my men deliver this but Reika says I should show initiative. Something about showing that I care. Who the hell does she think she is trying to give me advice? Anyway here.” Sakura shoved a gift into Yano’s hands. “Happy Valentine’s Day Yano.”

Cautiously opening the gift Yano had nearly dropped it when he realized it was a gold and green Rolex watch. These things cost thousands of dollars and Sakura was just gifting him one. 

“Also one more thing” Sakura smirked and before Yano knew it Sakura grabbed the front of his shirt and lifted him to her face. What happened next had sent Yano shortcircuiting as Sakura kissed him on the mouth. Pulling back Sakura gave Yano a lazy smile.

 “I made dinner reservations for the two of us for a later date. Wear it for me will ya? Anyway, I'm all out of time Yano see you soon.” Sakura placed the frazzled glassblower on the ground before turning to walk to the black car parked out in front of Yano’s residence.

All Yano could do was stay frozen in place as he watched the dark car leave his street. As each brain cell in his brain started to reactivate, he slowly shut his apartment door, turned around, and plopped onto the floor of his entryway, the gift still in his hand.

“She… Likes me?” Yano finally manages to utter in a daze. Putting his fingers to his lips, he continues, “Sakura kissed me? Like… What the hell?”

Wracking his brain, Yano thought about all the signs that Sakura could have hinted at any sort of romantic interest. But for the life of him, he really couldn’t understand when it went from sadistic pleasure to actual feelings. At least now he knew. For a moment, the thought to thank Reika for getting Sakura to actually show up and ask him out. Ask him out…

Sakura’s last words finally clocked in his head. “Wait, dinner reservations? Did she just ask me out on a date?!”

Sakura was so ruthless, she almost killed Yano's last brain cell. Thank you for the gift! God, they're gonna be official. (ʘᗩʘ')

Relationship: Family - Zakari Hiroya

Yanagi Hiroya † - Zakari's biological father, and a highly popular race car driver. He was dubbed, "The Red Bullet" due to the color of both his race car and his uniform. Despite the fact that he was forced to raise Zakari all on his own after his wife died, he did a pretty good job and loved his son very much, with the feeling being reciprocated. Like his son, he was highly reckless and loved putting his life on the line. Unfortunately, this behavior came back to bite him when he went toe-to-toe against Anika Kiyozaki, which ended with him losing his life in a fatal race car accident where his vehicle exploded after his and her cars crashed.

Chizu Hiroya † - Zakari's biological mother. She apparently worked as a stay-at-home wife while her husband drove around the city in his race car. Despite wishing he would find a different form of work, she remained his biggest fan, constantly praying that he would return home each day and night safely. She sadly died due to complications with Zakari's birth. Despite her sudden passing, Yanagi did not blame Zakari at all for her death. Her husband remained faithful to her up until the day he passed, refusing to marry or date any other woman.

Kai Quinlan (34 Years Old) - Zakari's adoptive father. He works as both a radio DJ, and a club DJ at his wife's nightclub. Despite the two of them only being 12 years apart, Zakari still looks at Kai as his father and loves and respects him dearly as thanks for rescuing him from the streets when he was a helpless teen.

Mireya Quinlan (34 Years Old) - Zakari's adoptive mother. She owns and operates the nightclub that he works at, Gypsy's Palace. Like Kai, despite the two of them being only 12 years apart, he looks at her as his mother. He is extremely thankful to her for giving him a mother's life, something he never experienced before in his life.

Lucille "Lucky Lucy" Takara (23 Years Old) - Zakari's rival/girlfriend. The two met when Zakari went to Shizuoka to save Dice after he had worked up a massive debt to her and the Kito-gumi. Soon after, the two began meeting frequently, enjoying each other's company and the games that each other plays. They now randomly meet up, going on dates while trying to see who can beat the other first.

Look, I didn’t really connect with the other scientists and interns in that development team, but Kanon was a person who made me… Hesitate a little on my plans. She is, sorry, was a gentle soul when I knew her. It was refreshing to see someone like her when I was stuck in a team of growing skeptics, including myself.”

“It’s selfish, but I can’t help feeling like its my fault. Even if I probably have nothing to do with whatever happened to her. I hope that maybe I could talk with her? F-For once, I have a chance to hear from someone about what happened to the completed project we all worked so hard on! Get to know what happened between me uhm… Let’s say, borrowing my learned knowledge to the point I’m in this Division Rap Battle. And I can hear out Kanon, learn what made her change so much. It’s the one thing I can gain from being trapped in this situation, right?”

“I’m… Not anywhere close to her level in the social hierarchy. Pretty sure I’ve heard rumors about her from Daiki. Something about her being a witch? That’s probably a far stretch, but that still isn’t a very good sign.”

“Kito as in… Kito-gumi? Fuck, well, might as well dig my own grave now. Or maybe she won’t notice I’m back? I know Irina probably hasn’t forgotten. She hated us with a passion, even when the H-Act passed and ruined everyone’s trafficking business. God, why does everyone horrible have to be in this damned rap battle?! I thought this was a peaceful little competition for a bunch of fangirls to swoon over, not an execution specifically designed for me! I didn’t ask to be in this mess!”

BY THE ORDERS OF OUR ESTEEMED PRIME MINISTER OTOME TOHOTEN SHE IS TO BE BROUGHT IN FOR HER CRIMES.

DEADLY FORCE IS ALLOWED IF NECESSARY.

Known as “The Most Villainous Girl of Japan”, “Anarchy Incarnate”, and even “The Second Coming of The High-Rise Bomber”. However, it is “Cinder” that strikes fear into the hearts of many. Stepping on the scene two years ago, Cinder has since made a name for herself all throughout the criminal underworld. It's unknown where she came from or even why she's doing this exactly. What is known is that Cinder seems to carry an absolute hatred of humanity or, to be more exact, a burning hatred of society. Only saying “Humanity pushed me into hell, and I made a deal with the devil to come back” when asked. With an ax to grind, Cinder has sworn revenge, claiming she won't stop until she has the world on its knees. No one can say for sure why Cinder feels the way she does, but there's too much anger running in her veins (At what? The world? Herself? Or someone specific?) for her to let bygones go by. To say this girl is a ticking time bomb is an understatement. 

A genius with few being able to match her, Cinder is capable of making awe-inspiring creations just as much as she can bring everything to ruin. Many in the underworld have been the unfortunate victims of her inventions. Cinder doesn't care about the pure destruction she leaves in her wake. Her most infamous moment was when to the shock of the entirety of the underworld poured molten metal on someone’s head. Showing everyone that she wasn't someone to mess with unless you wanted to be next. No one could deny that Cinder was now a frightening force to go up against. Since then various gangs, multiple corporations, and even the government have learned why Cinder is considered so dangerous. 

 Now depending on who you might ask, Cinder is either a “Revolutionary who'll do whatever it takes” or a “Sociopath with no regard to the sanctity of life”, either way, this young girl is leaving her mark on the world. For better or for worse. Even now no one is sure what she plans to do next. All that is known is that Cinder is determined to save the people who matter to her the most from their fates. The rest of the world be damned.

It's unknown how Cinder acquired a Hypnosis Microphone. However, Cinder claims that she built it herself. A claim that immediately placed her on Chuohku’s most wanted list.

A total of 26 murders have been linked to her.

While not a member of either group, she has been known to team up with both Scorpion Den and the “New” Yozakura on occasion. 

Cinder seems especially fond of the members of Scorpion Den, referring to them as “the few friends she had on this god-forsaken planet”. She is particularly fond of the member known as “Trickster” saying “He reminds me of someone very precious”.

She has struck multiple companies. Arakawa Tech Industries and Sigma Incorporated, to name a few. 

Several gangs have placed a bounty on her as well. The Katen Family of Yokohama, The Kito-gumi of Shizuoka, and The Crossroads of Ginza have each attempted to hunt her down.

The day was finally coming to an end in Okinawa. It was also a special day as it was Rashaad Young, Japan’s favorite bartender’s birthday. The man of the hour was getting ready for the evening rush of customers even on his birthday duty called. Then all of a sudden a sharply dressed man with a cane in his hand entered Eagle’s Nest. Rashaad quickly recognized the man as Shinji Aoki, second in command to the Kito-gumi. 

“Rashaad-san,” Shinji bowed, using his cane to help him. “Sorry to bother you before your rush but Sakura and her friends have asked me to deliver you gifts they had all gotten you.” 

Using his cane Shinji tapped the floor, signaling for several men to enter the bar bringing inside several gifts including one in a wooden crate. 

“Now if you excuse us Rashaad. We’ll take our leave now. Have a nice rest of your birthday.” Shinji bowed once again, the men behind him following suit before they all left Eagle’s Nest leaving Rashaad alone. Walking over to the gifts Rashaad picked up the lightest one first and opened it. 

Inside the first box was a record of the song "Axman's Jazz (Don't Scare Me Papa)" a 1919 song by Joseph John Davilla. Rashaad blinked. Wasn't that song inspired by a serial killer? Shaking his head Rashaad picked up the second gift and opened it.

Inside the second gift was a gorgeous glass decanter and matching drinking glasses. Red, orange, green, and blue colored the set making it look beautiful when the sunlight hit them. Placing them to the side Rashaad turned to the final gift. 

Rashaad wondered what someone could've gotten him for it to be in a wooden crate of all things. Knowing he would get any answers unless he opened it Rashaad began to open the crate. Thankfully it didn't take much strength to open it. 

Inside the crate was a wooden pool table. It was gorgeous with the sides of the table expertly carved and a dark emerald cloth that felt soft to the touch. Laying on top of the table were the billiards balls in their rack and matching wooden pool cues. Seeing a note on the pool table as well Rashaad picked it up and began to read. 

“Raashaad,

Happy Birthday. As thanks for letting us into Eagle’s Nest, we've all gotten you a gift. The record is from Kanon, the pool table is from Reika, and the decanter set is from Sakura. Once again Happy Birthday.

“Wait. You actually got Rashaad something too Kanon?” 

“Of course. I’m quite fond of the drinks that he makes. This is just my thanks.”

“Please tell me you got him something normal Kanon. I beg of you.”

“Oh thank god.”

“Okay, that's actually pretty tame.” 

“Why do the two of you think I can't gift someone something nice?”

“Your idea of a nice gift often comes straight out of a horror movie Kanon.”

“That's putting it lightly.”

“My gifts are wonderful.”

“Sentient plant monster.”

“Parasitic flesh-eating bacteria.”

Truthfully, Rashaad wasn't a bit surprised to see Shinji-san. Not that he didn't appreciate the older gentleman's patronage. Believe it or not, Rashaad and Shinji actually had a good relationship with each other. It's just that knowing who Shinji-san worked for, the bar owner assumed that he'd be too busy to stop by, and would have had someone else deliver gifts for him. Gifting him a rare bottle of whiskey before he departed, Rashaad bade the older gentleman an 'until next time' before turning to his gifts.

To say he was surprised at them would be an understatement. Knowing each of the three women of Shizuoka personally, Rashaad did his best to keep them all at arm's length. He was grateful for their patronage, but hearing some of the things about them, he tried to avoid being overly friendly with them. Though they weren't as bad as some of the other customers over the years, he tried to make sure they were as amicable as possible to prevent any... trouble from arising.

Smiling at the glasses the rich socialite, Reika, gave him, Rashaad smiled, placing them in his cupboard, promising to use them only on special occasions. Turning his attention to the pool table, he looked at it, pleased with the gift. He knew Master Ace was an avid pool player, and a couple of other patrons had mentioned before about wanting to play some pool.

Looking at the last gift, the record Kanon gave him, Rashaad, though a bit skeptical, decided to give it a play, inserting the disc into his jukebox. Listening to the first few seconds, a smile plastered onto the bar owner's face. A spooky undertone could be heard as the music blasted out of the machine.

"...I get the same scent from this woman that I get from the woman scientist from Shinagawa. The only difference is... this woman reeks less of malice and more of insanity. I know that she is only the second one we've met, but I can't help but wonder if all Chuohku scientists are like her. ...Well, I say Chuohku, but it seems like she is no longer affiliated with them. Still, that doesn't exactly paint her in a good light. What's more, for some reason, Yorii seems to have an intense disliking for her? I wonder why..."

"Peh, it doesn't matter one bit if this insane bitch is no longer affiliated with Chuohku. The fact that she has worked with them proves that she is guilty by association. And if I find out that she has done anything to Yorii, she will pay for it."

Reika Aichi

"I've heard of this woman, or at least, I've seen her on the news. She's apparently been married five times. And each time, all of her husbands have mysteriously wound up died within a year's time. ...It's quite obvious that she has killed each of them. Even if I didn't spell the blood of her victims on her, I can easily see inside that she isn't plagued with guilt for their deaths. On the contrary, she is quite happy that each of them are dead. I imagine that her joy comes from the amount of money that accumulates with each death. ...Oh well, it's got little to do with me. My only hope is that she doesn't set her sights on Yorii. ...For both of their sakes..."

Kito Sakura

"The new head of the Kito-gumi, from what I've heard. Honestly, I've had to deal with a few henchmen from that family. Back when the old leader was in charge, the Kito-gumi kept to their own. But ever since this new leader has taken control, they've started expanding their influence."

"If not for the inclusion of that scientist woman, this team probably wouldn't be so intimidating. But... I think she rounds out the creepiness and intimidating factor that this group has. If we go against them, I think she may wind up being the most trouble. ...Truthfully, I'd rather not go against them at all, but..."

The day was finally coming to an end in Miyazaki. Himari Asami was in her home spending her birthday relaxing. That's why it came as a surprise when she heard the front door ring. Walking over she opened the door to reveal a sharply dressed man with several scars across their face. 

“Ms. Asami.” the man answers holding out and giving Himari several packages before nodding his head and leaving. Back inside, Himari walked over to the kitchen cursing at how heavy one of the packages was before placing the item on the counter. 

Wondering who could have sent her all these gifts Himiari grabbed the heaviest present first and began to open it. 

Inside was a brand-new white and blue sewing machine. There were also several bolts of expensive fabrics and a spool of gold-colored thread. Pulling everything out, she found a letter attached to the machine.

“Dear Asami,

When I hear it was my favorite seamstress's birthday I knew I had to get you something. Alongside the brand-new machine, I got you several bolts of some of the harder to obtain fabrics like silk and a spool with thread made out of genuine 24k gold. I hope you are able to put them to good use with your clients.

Giving a smile at the socialite’s gift Himari turned to the closest package and began opening it.

Opening the gift reveals a bottle of expensive cherry blossom flavored sake. Hanging from the bottle was a note plucking it Himari began to read it. 

“Dear Asami,

Happy Birthday.  I hope you enjoy the sake it was made in one of my personal breweries. The Kito produce and sell (legally mind you) sake all throughout Japan as one of our more legal ways to make a profit. This sake is a limited edition and is only sold during the Hanami season while watching the cherry blossoms bloom. Hope both you and your teammates can enjoy it.

Placing the bottle down Himari picked up the last gift and began to open it.

Opening the final gift reveals a chocolate cake. Chocolate swirls decorated the cake alongside the words Happy Birthday written on it. It smelled wonderful and seeing a note on top Himari picked it up beginning to read.

Happy Birthday. While I am personally not a fan of such frivolous celebrations. I suppose I must congratulate you on another year in this unstoppable marching of time that is slowly guiding us all toward an inevitable death. Take this cake as my appreciation for the many times you have repaired my lab coat.

Those were the first words that came out of her mouth upon looking at the box Kanon had sent her.

Don’t get her wrong- she loved the gifts! It just shocked her that Kanon could bake!

With gentle hands she picked up the thread from the box Reika had sent her. Spending money on this was probably chump change to someone like her- still it warmed her heart to see that one of her favorite clients would send her this. As for the machine- it was perfect timing considering Kyoko somehow managed to absolutely wreck her old one this afternoon after some…rather aggressive attempts at stitching her kimono back up after one of her boy toys got…aggressive.

Seeing the Sake she couldn’t help but smile.

“Kyoko! Rinko!” She shouts.

"Hmm... curious. Never did I think I'd find a dark spirit that closely resembles Okada from Shinagawa. I do know not whether Chuohku is to blame for her current predicament, or if this is who she truly is and it just took her "accident" to get her to show her true self. But this woman here... I can tell that despite her atrocities, she truthfully regrets the atrocities that she has committed."

"But she doesn't need to fret. The fact that she regrets her foolish actions shows that there may still be hope for her troubled and pitiful soul. She simply needs to repent for her sins, and the light of God will shine down on her. Better she does it sooner rather than later, less the door that leads to Heaven is forever shut for her. I shall have to see if she can be brought before me. After all, her mind must be easy to control seeing as how one accident changed her..."

Reika Aichi

"The daughter of a harlot. ...Truthfully, I do not begrudge her mother's upbringing. The poor woman, whose body was corrupted and her soul filled with the awfulness of sin, was forced to dirty herself to provide for herself and her child. If anything, I blame the men who laid with her. They chose to waste their wealth on a woman who has been with another. Saddening, truly saddening. ...But as stated, I do not hold the daughter in contempt of her mother's actions. No, not at all."

"...Rather, my contempt for this woman is the fact that she lies, cheats, and steals from those simply to line her own pockets. Marriage is a sacred thing in the eyes of the Lord. "Ah, the head of the Kito-gumi. Normally, I'd have no quarrel with her seeing as how the Yakuza and I have a... relationship with one another. Her father and I had a very good relationship with each other. That sadly came to an end when she killed him, however. I bore her no ill will, of course. In fact, I wanted to continue the relationship between our two groups, but she refused, not wanting to do work with anyone who was a friend of her father. So, we agreed that our gangs wouldn't get in each other's way. She'd leave Ginza alone, and I agreed not to intrude upon her business in Shizuoka. And for a while, that held up. But..."

"...That "deal" sadly came to an end when I received word that some Kito-gumi were here in Ginza. And they weren't here for a confession, I'm afraid. No... they chose to bother some of the good people here. My people, in order to expand their influence. So, seeing as how Sakura wasn't going to uphold her end of the deal, I felt no need to do the same. I sent some of my men and Juu to deal with the interlopers. The fools were easily captured, and Juu asked if she could have them. And what kind of Father would I be if I didn't let my dear sweet daughter have some fun now and then?"

"She spent the better part of the day "playing" with Sakura's men. And when she was done, I had their bodies dumped on the outskirts of Shizuoka for someone to find. I suspect that won't make Sakura very happy, but I'm sure she will be fine. God forgives all who forgive themselves, after all." Masa laughs at this.

Silent Tragedy

"I question whether this team or Shinagawa is more deserving of our attention. Both have figures trapped in the darkness. But currently, I feel that dealing with Shizuoka would be more rewarding. Shinagawa is not going anywhere, but Shizuoka... their sins have gone unpunished for too long. And it is up to the people of Ginza and Last Judgment to send the Lord's vengeance down upon their foolish heads. Prepare yourselves, Shizuoka. For I promise you this, that tragedy that befalls you... it will be anything but silent." Masa laughs again as he departs into the shadows.

“Kanon Hojo, female, 29 years of age, known moniker is Mz. Hyde, head of the Shizuoka Division and active leader of rap group Silent Tragedy, members are 2nd Member Socialite Reika Aichi and 3rd Member Yakuza Leader Sakura Kito.”

It was silent for a moment before a scoff was heard. “This specimen…between her and Kuromiya from Minato, I can’t tell which gave Chuuoku and by extension me more trouble, both of them are idiotic, so consumed with themselves that they didn’t even pay attention to their surroundings nor the circumstances they were in, it made getting rid of the both of them far to easy, at least before, she knew well to keep to herself and not bother me but ever since she volunteered to be a guinea pig to for the prototype of the true Hypnosis Microphone, she had become a pain to deal with, if I’m being frank, I’d say she got exactly what was coming to her, only an absolute fool would believe that working with Amayado and his cursed microphones would be do anything good, you might as well just signed your own death warrant.” The tone of her voice was cold, unfeeling, and just a tad bit spiteful.

“That was only the beginning however, things truly went to hell when people from the different departments started to go missing, people had thought that I had something to do with it, which is just insulting and even if I had I wouldn’t be nearly as obvious and sloppy as Hojo but I knew who the true culprit was, it didn’t take a genius to know either, it was so painfully obvious I’m surprised Tohoten didn’t notice earlier, perhaps if she did, we could have saved so much more time and resources but I digress. I turned her in and requested for her termination, it was granted and the clones were dispatched to take her out.” There was a sigh of exasperation.

“I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised to have found what was left of their bodies the next day, I noticed that there seems to be a theme with explosives with those that were…let go, dramatic but effective, unfortunately. That was the last time any of us had seen of her but I had been keeping tabs on any suspicious activity in any of the divisions and immediately Shizuoka had become number one on the list, not only had any and all influence Chuuoku had in the city had been annihilated but there had been reports of bodies being found in the less than savory areas of the city…well, what was left of the bodies anyhow, now with her return, there has been quite an uproar over here, Kadenokoji has given the order to terminate on sight should any of us face her.”

Reika Aichi

“Reika Aichi, female, 28 years of age, known moniker is Belladonna, part of the Shizuoka Division and active member of rap group Silent Tragedy, members are Leader Kanon Hojo and 3rd Member Yakuza Leader Sakura Kito. I’ll admit, this specimen has peaked my interest, having started out as a child of a prostitute, she has become the most wealthy and influential person in Shizuoka, single-handedly manipulating the upper class into obeying her and convincing the public to be on her side, it’s quite impressive. There seems to be mixed opinions of her, despite the fact that she is responsible for each of her husband’s deaths, some people hold her to high regard. Her extensive knowledge of poisons also interests me, however, given her involvement with Specimen Hojo and her dislike for Chuuoku, it’s best to proceed with caution and dispatch her swiftly and quickly.”

Sakura Kito

“Sakura Kito, female, 28 years of age, known moniker is Renegade, part of the Shizuoka Division and active member of rap group Silent Tragedy, members are Leader Kanon Hojo and 2nd Member Socialite Reika Aichi. Much like the previous specimen, this one is one of the most powerful people in Shizuoka due to her role as leader of the Kito-gumi, a Yakuza clan that’s steadily growing in numbers and power ever since their…change in leadership. Already, she has complete control over Shizuoka’s underground society and has authority over every police station in the city, she is just as feared as much as she is respected and resources have shared of her plans to expand her influence outside of Shizuoka with very mixed results. As such, she is considered dangerous and a threat and the order has been given to take her out as soon as possible.”

Silent Tragedy

“Shizuoka Division, Silent Tragedy is a team that I will admit has peaked my interest, especially with their leader coming out of whatever hole she hid herself in. Both Tohoten and Kadenokoji have given the order to all Chuuoku teams to proceed with caution with this group and that should any of us face them in battle, we should dispose of them as quick as we can.” There was a sigh of exasperation. “This entire situation is growing tedious, truly, it astounds me how incompetent The Party of Words has become since it’s foundation, if somehow we all get through this, I’ll be having a personal word with Tohoten.”

The Day of Valentines was almost at it's end, but it still wasn't over. And that proved true for a certain member of the Kito-gumi named Lucille "Lucky Lucy" Takara. Even though it was a holiday, that didn't make her exempt from work, unfortunately. After all, no matter the time or day of the week, there was still money to be made. But that didn't mean she couldn't partake in this festive holiday herself, right? After all, at the end of the day, she was still a person.

...At least, that's how a certain risk-taker saw it as he jumped to and fro throughout the buildings in Shizuoka before finally arriving at the residence of the woman in question. Smiling, he dropped a small gift package on her doorstep, quickly rung the doorbell to her home and disappeared as quickly as he came, though he was watching from her a close distance to see her reaction.

Upon opening the front door, the blonde-hair Japanese woman looked around before noticing the package in front of her. Blinking, she unwrapped the package and looked at what was inside.

It was a charm bracelet with a casino-theme to it, as well as a gold necklace that read 'Aces & Eights' on it. Blinking, the gambler didn't hesitate putting neither piece of jewelry on her person, liking how they felt. Viewing in the box, the woman saw a note at the bottom, which read:

'Roses are red

Violets are blue

You're my favorite gambler

And I'm always betting on you

Happy Valentine's Day.'

“My my, what a lovely set of jewelry, my dear.” Hikaru smiled, taking out his fan and fanning himself. “That Zakari give them to you? He has been treating you right, Lucy? I can go have a “talk” with him if he's not.” 

"Hikaru, while I appreciate the fact you'd kill any man for disrepecting for me. Please don't threaten my boyfriend.” Lucy begged the former prostitute.

“I'm just making sure that you don't get your heart broken, my dear. Love is a fickle thing, much like luck is. Romantic love, especially. Plus, with you and now the Boss in relationships, I imagine things will get pretty interesting soon.” 

“No but I seriously don't know if I should pity the dude that has the Boss’s affection.”

“Actually I think we should pity the Boss more. She's out of her comfort zone here. Remember, she never had an example of a loving relationship before. Plus, she's taking advice from Reika-san from all people for her love life. I’m sure you know why that's possibly a bad idea. By comparison, yours and Zakari's relationship seems like it would be a walk in the park, and you've tried killing him before.” 

“I can't tell if that was a diss against me or the Boss Hikaru.” 

“Who's to say my dear Lucille.”

The day was finally coming to an end in Toyama. One Yano Ietsuna was in his home spending his birthday relaxing. That's why it came as a surprise when he heard the front door ring. Walking over he opened the door to reveal a sharply dressed man with several scars across his face. 

"Y-yes?" Yano stutters horrified to see a member of the yakuza at his front door.

“A gift from the Boss.” the man answers holding out and giving Yano a package before nodding his head and leaving. Walking back inside Yano walked over to the kitchen before placing the item on the counter. Yano stared at the package afraid to find out what was inside. Gathering his courage Yano slowly opened the package. 

Inside was a gold star-shaped pendant with a green stone in it alongside a leather cord bracelet with a similar star on it. Seeing an envelope underneath gifts Yano grabbed it and began reading

“Dear Yano,

I was told it was your birthday. Don't ask how I have my ways. As for your gift, I was gifted these a while back but they are not my style. So when I learned it was your birthday I decided to send you these as I believe they would suit you far better than me. Happy Birthday, Yano. Try not to get into too much trouble.

“Wait you sent Yano a gift?”

“Yes, Reika I did.”

“How much you wanna bet he started crying when he realized who it was from?”

“That's a sucker’s bet and you know it.”

“I’m well aware the two of you love tormenting him but can we continue with the horror movie? I wish to continue criticizing how they got the gore wrong.”

From the moment the heavily scarred man arrived at his door, Yano knew there was only one person who could have given him the box. So, after he slammed his front door, took the time to calm himself, and open the gift with shaking hands, he was surprised to find himself admiring the gifts thoroughly. The letter not so much, hating that Kito family’s leader was right: These accessories really were exactly what Yano liked.

“Didn’t want them, huh? Sorry to whoever gave these to Sakura…” Yano frowns, knowing how cruel Sakura could be. Taking the golden chain into his hand, he looked at the craftsmanship of the pendant, focusing most of his attention on looking at the gemstone set in the center of it. “How can she give these away though? These look like real gemstones. Did she really just get them as a gift and tossed them to me instead?”

Pausing for a moment Yano took in the fact Sakura had it delivered by one of her men (a scary one in Yano’s opinion), in a package with a letter written by her personally, containing what is obviously very expensive jewelry all for Yano. Putting that together, Yano cried out in dread while he dropped the chain and his head straight into his counter. “Don’t tell me she’s actually trying to make mark me as her personal pet?!”

Unfortunately for Yano, the rest of his night was plagued with nightmares, his dreams flip-flopping between him acting as a pathetic little dog doing tricks for Sakura or being bossed around by the yakuza head as an errand boy. All while the necklace and bracelet lay atop his dresser mixed together with his other accessories.

Sayaka’s Thoughts on Shizuoka Division

Kanon Hojo

She frowns as she looks at the photo of the former scientist, a flash of guilt in her eyes. “Ah Kanon, she was the new scientist that would be working with me for the Hypnosis Microphones…or at least she was supposed to before the…accident.” She frowns harder. “I was already leaving by the time she joined Chuuoku but word travels fast and I was horrified to know what she did to the other members, I can’t help but feel like I had dodged a bullet.” She sighed. “However, much like with Nadya, she had faked her death before anyone could stop her and now here she is….” She trailed off, looking intensely at the photo in front of her. “I can’t say I look forward to meeting her…again but I can’t help but feel bad, knowing that once a kind and bright woman is now brought to…this by my father’s creation, the same creation he wanted to help people with.” She shook her head, sadness painting her features. “I know it probably won’t mean anything but I’m truly sorry, Kanon.”

Reika Aichi

She furrowed her eyebrows, “I don’t know much about this woman but apparently she and Lola are good friends, which is great but I also have heard…less than tasteful facts about Aichi-san here, the prominent ones being the fact that she killed five of her husbands and inherited all their wealth and that she was exiled from Aoyama’s upper class because of it.” She but her lip, worry etched onto her face. “I’ve told Lola many times to be careful around her but she doesn’t listen, I know she knows Aichi-san well and for a long time but I can’t help but worry, I know she can take care of herself but I just don’t want her to get hurt or worse.” She sighed. “At any rate, she’s an…interesting woman.”

Sakura Kito

Her eyes widen, “Kito…that’s the name of the Yakuza that’s been seen around here.” She mumbled. “We’ve had a few cases involving them but every time we try to contract the Shizuoka Police Department, it’s like talking to a wall, they won’t provide assistance and they always tell us that they’ll ‘handle it’ but the next day, nothing happens!” She scoffed. “Kaede told me that they won’t help because the Kito-gumi has all the power and influence over the entire police force in Shizuoka which is disheartening to say the least but I digress, so now we focus on keeping them out of Saitama.” She then frowned. “But that’s not all, apparently Kureha had a run in with them a while back, they had tried to intimidate her and a few artists at an art show she was a part of and things didn’t go so well…” She added, hands clenched into fists at her sides. “That was the last straw for me, I couldn’t stand aside while my daughter nearly risked her life so now I provide assistance to the few officers in Japan that are working on taking the Kito-gumi down. As for their leader…” she looked at Sakura’s photo and shakes her head. “I hope she’s happy with where she’s at, with her leadership skills, she could have done so much good for the world…”

She rubs her temples, sighing heavily. “I think it’s pretty obvious that this team isn’t supposed to be originally representing Shizuoka. How they got their Hypmics, I’d rather not know but I do know that having them in this competition makes things even more dangerous, CodeX, Oculus, and now Silent Tragedy, there is no way Chuuoku can’t see how wrong this is, at this rate something is bound to go terribly wrong.”

Keiko frowns at the photo of the deranged Chuohku scientist. "I don't know who this woman is exactly, but according to Nemu-san, she used to serve Chuohku, but an accident involving the Hypnosis Microphone did something to her. Before long, she was involved in several disappearances with some of the staff here. It's a shame she escaped, but Otome-sama and Ichijiku-san have made her a top priority to bring her back to them, dead or alive. I'll try not to kill her, but I'll gladly bring her back to them. Women like her don't deserve to do what they do and still be around."

Aichi Reika

Like the woman before her, the manga artist frowns deeply at the photo of the disgraced socialite. "This woman may be the woman whom I despise most out of this team. I don't necessarily agree with the rich, but having this woman expelled from Aoyama may have the best thing they could have done. I mean really, how has the police not caught this woman by now? It's quite obvious she's a dirty wench who only marries men for their money, and then kills them. She's a disgrace to women everywhere, and gives us all a bad name! I suppose its no surprise that she's on good terms with my mother. Between the two of them, I have trouble figuring out who I despise more..."

"Argh, another Yakuza member? It's bad enough we have to deal with Samatoki and his horrible Katen family. Dealing with this woman and her Kito-gumi is the last thing Chuohku needs to deal with right now. It's a shame that Nemu-san is so busy with her work. If she weren't, I'd have requested that we'd go to Shizuoka and eliminate this woman and the rest of her lackeys. Oh well, maybe someday..."

"I am very glad that Otome-sama and Ichijiku-san put a red flag on this team. It's unknown how they acquired Hypnosis Mics, but the two of them have ordered that this team be eliminated before they can infiltrate the D.R.B., which I have no issue with! I'm going to enjoy hurting all three of them, especially that 'Belladonna' wench! Anyone, be they man or woman, who does what she does, deserves the highest punishment possible!"
