I’ve been catching up with all the Deltarune theories and theme analysis that came out since chapter 2. And what surprise, the one that immediately caught my attention was the “Papyrus is the knight” theories, cos, ya know, I love him very much.

As for if I believe in the theories? Meh, Imma let Toby surprise me rather than speculate. So, see this more of an AU or headcanon than what I think will actually be happening in game.

Still, this tickled the creative side of my brain so you can bet you can find a loooong ass ramble here if you wanna know more about this AU/headcanon of mine.

Bro Knight Papy has been on my mind, and I have now constructed a very complicated life for this man. But it’s also like such a cool concept, my brain is braining guys. Packet-of-staples got me on the knight train. Also the speech bubble thing they do is so swag.

Also, I found out a weird coincidence someone has probably already mentioned but I want to say it anyways. So basically the only characters (that I know of, correct me if I’m wrong) to talk in all caps are Spamton, Jevil, Gaster, and Papyrus(oh and I guess Mettaton I forgot about him smh). Take what you will from that information.

Oh I am so Mad. I was watching a video where someone was going over Papyrus lore and theories they had read about and he brought up the Knight Papyrus theory and he said he heard it from a video on youtube and for a half second I thought he was going to mention my video BUT THEN HE MENTIONED SOMEONE ELSE ENTIRELY WHO HAS NOT SPENT LONGER THAN 6 MINUTES TALKING ABOUT THIS THEORY ACROSS THE TWO VIDEOS WHERE HE'S BROUGHT IT UP?? And then this person implies that that youtube theory person CAME UP WITH THE KNIGHT PAPYRUS THEORY???

Day 147 of drawing Papyrus until he cameos in deltarune! I wanted to draw more Knight Papyrus and Lancer because they are silly!! And also Lancer is an absolute menace and I love him.

looking at the the "papyrus is the knight" theory and the "papyrus and sans are from deltarune" theory and the "papyrus doesn't remember deltarune" theory. looking at papyrus's "battle body" and his apparent attachment to it and how he and sans made it for a costume party despite it not really being based on anything specifically. do you think that costume was, subconsciously or not, based on what his dark world attire might be? and that's WHY he's so attached to it, even if papyrus doesn't fully realize it? it certainly fits in better with the dark world designs than it does any other outfit in undertale. idk if this is anything but I'm Thinking about it nonetheless.

Yo, y’all I wanted to do a bit of explaining about the thousands of Papyrus’ on this blog is about-

There’s 3 Papyrus’ that are gonna consist inside my comic, the three above this text. “Russ” will be in a chapter called Dirt Ceilings and “Papy” will be in a chapter called Surface Dweller. Basically they go off the idea of alternate universes that Deltarune plays into. “The Knight” is the “real” Papyrus we all know and love.

I won’t explain much more than that, cause I don’t want to spoil it. But I do want to say that I’m planning on changing Russ’ design. I want to give him the outfit Undyne wears on the date.

Oh! And also, I’m still designing more universal character stuff. Paps isn’t the only one who gets a design haha.
