Absolutely raging because I wrote out this massive answer and Tumblr ate it so this version is much less fun but I'll try to remember everything I said

I'm so so angry RAWRRRRRRR okay so this is short and sweet and annoyed ✨

The suit:

Look up Naruto's Eight Trigrams Seal and imagine that in the center of the chest in blood red, with lines that follow the shoulders and dip towards the hips. In the center, a white stylistic spider to echo the Uchiha colours. The blue is darker, like 'space' instead of navy or royal

The mask is influenced by the ANBU tattoo and the line goes from the chin, sculpting the cheek to swirl around the cheekbone and browbone before trailing over the temples and meeting in a V at the back of the skull, mimicking and exaggerating Shisui's eyeliner

No flappy fabric, like Hobie or Pavitr, as Shisui's too pragmatic. The material does resemble mesh pattern tho, as a nod to Shinobi mesh armour. He wears a bullet proof vest, matching the suit design so smoothly that it's not really distinguishable until Shisui goes to take it off, as Konohattan is basically a Yakuza Modern AU, let's be real.

Knuckle dusters built into his hands

ANBU style arm and shin bracers

Feet like tabi

Red waistband almost like an obi illusion but no loose fabric

High collar to his chin, like Tenzo, when mask is off

Ears pierced with black tomoe studs

No gun (DP!Obito has tho) but nunchucks

Shisui has curls, this is just important to me to reiterate

Powers

Usual spiderman strength and durability but slightly lower healing rate

Spidey senses PLUS enhanced senses because I gotta include Uchiha premonition somehow (hello sensory overload whump)

Naturally produces webs, like Tobey's Peter, but it hurts after overuse

Not much sticky to surfaces but Shisui's speed is so stupid that momentum usually carries him through. Webs work in a pinch.

Dimension tearing! I haven't figured out how yet but I want to involve this for plot reasons AND as a nod to Kotoamatsukami

Imagine: DP!Obito meeting Miguel

Obito and Shisui aren't even dating (Obito has asked Shisui out multiple times but he always brings it up during the worst moments while they're fighting and risking their lives and Shisui is always like, "CAN YOU BE SERIOUS FOR A MOMENT" so they never actually discussed their situation seriously) but Obito's immediately, "Aww babe, does that mean you want to make things official? Is that why I'm meeting your scary dad?" and Shisui has a moment of total confusion because, "Miguel is not my dad? What do you mean??" and then proceeds to re-think every single interaction they had and comes to the conclusion that, "Oh God he acts like he's my dad and takes care of me and I actually care about him and act like his son Oh God-"

I love this hahahhaha but if Obito always choose the wrong time? Then this conversation is happening IN FRONT OF MIGUEL LMAO

Loving the Spider!Shisui so far, but you know me so I have to ask: does Shisui know Inoichi, Sora and Ino in this verse? Does he still have Inoichi as a father figure, or does the fact that he was older when his actual father died mean that there is no link between him and the Yamanaka?

(you've fully converted me to Yamanaka!Shisui feels and now I can't imagine him without Ino as his sassy little sister and without Inoichi making sure Shisui doesn't self-destruct himself out of a too strong sense of duty)

(also if there is a family like relationship there, I can't wait for the Yamanaka to meet Hobie. Because that's going to be glorious)

I'm not sure if Spider-Shisui could meet other versions of himself, logistically in this AU, because it seems to be only spiderman dimensions connected but who knows!!! The other Shisui's would low-key be jealous that Konohattan isn't at literal war every decade or so but also yikes no chakra and all the mobsters.... guess it's relative, huh

I will say that the Naruto manga/anime does exist in some Spiderverses though so I might do a one shot of shisui introducing himself, another Spider freaking the fuck out, Shisui then freaking out that they know he's from a Yakuza family oh shit they're gonna blow my cover only to realise.... Introducing.... KONOHATTAN 🔥🔥🔥

Like Mubattan has a different energy to Mile's Manhattan, so Konohattan would absolutely be Konoha but with cars and all the traffic and so much FLAVOUR

Aha! Characteristics of Narutoverse translate over! The city is being run by the Senju Oligarchy with the Uchiha as their hitmen/police force but the union is starting to break down! Hashirama doesn't have Mokuton but he IS known as the God of the Senju because he just won't fucking die, there's been like 100 assassination attempts, the Uchiha have a stranglehold control of the police, the 'civilian' population is jammed full of various allied and hostile criminal gangs. Some, like the Yamanaka information brokers, the smuggler Akimichi and the Espionage and Security details of the Nara, are basically extensions of the Senju-Uchiha. Others, like the Uzumaki, have so many connections out of the city that they're falling under more suspicion on all fronts, and some, like the Hatake arm's dealers, have almost entirely been killed off...

Enter: Shisui.

He's been filtered through the Uchiha ranks since he was old enough to hold a gun and now, at seventeen, he's finally been trusted to accompany Senju Tenzo, the son of Tsunade herself, on his first meeting with the ROOT scientists, who work under Danzo by the grace of their Senju benefactors. ONLY-! the meeting is a trap to kidnap Tenzo and use him to destabilise the city and allow for a coup! That Shisui can be blamed as well, thus worsening the Uchiha-Senju tensions, is the cherry on top.

During the ensuing scuffle, shisui makes a break for it and is sent flying through the labs, where he destroys several experiments - including radioactive spiders~ - before finally, slamming into what can only be described as the radioactive chamber where he is promptly 'fried'. Spoiler alert: some spooky shit happens and he doesn't die but, instead, becomes spiderman. Shisui wakes up right before his 'corpse' is disposed of, he beats the shit out of those henchmen and realises his powers, breaks out and fucks around with his new mad skills... decides to kill danzo... His "becoming spiderman" arc is all about a revenge trip to rescue tenzo before it's announced that he's missing... (Yes, yes, I have watched Catwoman (2004) lmao) Shisui saves the city, it turns out that danzo had a bunch of genetically modified people on retainer, and boom! There's Shisui's list of designated bad guys to fight 😉

Not sure if theres a "green goblin" green goblin, if you know what I mean, but...maybe? Idk the Senju-Uchiha aren't really good guys, not really anyone is in this AU....
