We have a new citizen in Mount Phoenix:

Prince Kraisee, a 25 year old son of Huracan. He is a DJ at Visión / Ilusión.

Frequently wears glasses. He has contacts but the comfort of glasses is generally a must in his everyday routine. Time with and without glasses is about 60% of his time to 40% without, most of which is while he’s working since contacts are easier to manage while DJing.

His hands are always moving or doing something. From a pocket sized Rubix Cube, to various coins or odd little trinkets- Prince’s hands are generally active and fluid in their small activities. This is especially prominent when he’s focused on something or listening to someone speak.

He has Dimples. Most of the people back home and those he’s met in his travels have always paid attention to his little smiles and commented on the small fact that he has dimples. He’s a bit proud of the feature given that he’s received many compliments on them.

Piercings: Two in his left ear, one in his right.

PERSONALITY: Mischievous and teasing, Prince is a compassionate and determined individual. He’s got some leadership qualities that are difficult to deny and a confidence that would be surprising if he hadn’t had to step up earlier in life than most. He puts up a solid front when going against those that hold intimidation in high regard. He’s rebellious to a fault in the face of unfair authority, not one to go along with rules that don’t apply to everyone and instead allow others in higher ‘nobility’ standards to get special treatment.

He’s easily distracted and gets annoyed when his things are shifted out of place or put somewhere they don’t belong. He’s never annoyed for too long if it’s a friend or close relative though, melting easily under affection or fondness though he tries to hide it for as long as he can. Cute begging or whining methods also cause bad moods or annoyed moments to fade quickly, never one to stay angry long though he tries(and fails) to hold gentle grudges against these types of individuals. Sometimes these moods are accompanied by the light scent of rain.

If it’s a stranger or someone he dislikes that annoy him or worse, however, the response is solid and firmly in place. He will not waver and his anger can be fierce and aggressive, almost dangerous and accompanied by the strong scent of ozone along with a taste that hints at lightning. It’s very rare that he reaches this point with someone, but it is always justified. He never gets angry over nothing, there will always be a solid reason if he does get to such a point in an interaction.

As a whole, Prince is charming, passionate, mischievous, and energetic. He cares a lot about those within his circle and he’s unforgiving against anyone that validly deserves it. He’s protective of his heart but has no qualms at welcoming those who prove themselves worthy and deserving of it inside with their own little spots made just for them.

HISTORY: Madam Kanlaya’s Private School for Extraordinarily Gifted Children. This was the place Prince had known as home for much of his early life. Before Madam Kanlaya’s, Prince had only known quiet halls, empty rooms, and lonely meals. His parents had both been the type of people who worked a lot, they both also traveled often and frequently left their young son under the care of the housekeeper. (Neither of them were very favorable to each other after Prince’s birth anyways, his mother having met a man on one of her business trips and fell into bed with him which resulted in Prince. Though his father wasn’t innocent in the situation either, having had multiple incidents with one of his secretaries during late work nights as well, long before his mother’s own transgression.)

Ultimately, Prince had been left to his own devices until an incident with one of his schoolmates brought him to the attention of those who worked under Madam Kanlaya. Soon enough, his parents were paid a visit and after a discussion with Madam Kanlaya herself– the young demigod was swept away to a specialized facility for those like himself. It was there that Prince learned of his nature, his abilities, and his status as someone who wasn’t normal. At Madam Kanlaya’s, they were taught that they were something more. Something stronger than normal people… and taught they were better than normal people too. These teachings were accompanied by harsh training, as… if you were someone superior you had to be perfect in many things even outside special abilities to prove you deserve the title. To show you’re better in everything because you’re special, even if that thought was not an actual truth. For a small while, Prince fell into the teachings. He was young and not yet wise enough to start thinking things over properly.

A few months later, however, Prince gained a friend group and truly opened his eyes to what Madam Kanlaya was doing. Shortly after that, he started to think and plan. He honed his skills as he was taught, but always kept alert to everything that was happening. Eventually he and his friends built themselves up enough to be able to enact a plan to bring Madam Kanlaya down. Through varied means, they managed to reveal her plans to the public and managed to shut down the school while bringing an end to all her practices in their last year before graduating.

After Madam Kanlaya’s downfall, Prince and his friends knew they all needed to scatter. Though her school failed, the demigoddess had escaped before her arrest. So, they each decided on a place to go and left the area for their own safety. They all kept in contact of course, but it was safer for them to split up and lie low. Prince, as the leader of their little group and the one that set everything into motion decided to leave the country and to travel overseas where he’d be safer given the likelihood he’d have the biggest target on his back.

At age nineteen, Prince arrived in London.

He’d opted to enroll at a university there, musing that he could at least learn more things under a different environment than he’d had before. This time, he could choose his lessons and try different things out without worrying about disapproval or certain things just being flat out unavailable. He did struggle a little though, the English he had learned at Madam Kanlaya’s having a number of differences from the English spoken in London. But, a kind teacher’s aide in one of his classes noticed him after a few days of struggles and ended up taking him under his wing shortly afterwards.

From there, Prince had gained a new friend. Which soon shifted into two as one day, after an amount of conversations and hang outs, his new friend decided to introduce him to his roommate and eventual fiance. The pair of them were quite something to watch, Prince spending the next five years around them and growing close to them both. They were a happy little group of friends, until tragedy struck and stole one of them away forever.

It was hard, after that frantic phone call that Prince received with the news that his first friend in London was dead. Together they mourned the loss, clinging close and sharing their sadness with each other until the funeral that soon laid his first friend to rest. After that, Prince could tell his remaining friend needed space and he easily gave it. Their paths diverged for about a year, Prince choosing to return to Thailand for a little while as it felt safer now given five years had passed and it was unlikely the Madam was still looking for him.

Something bothered him about his friend’s death, however. So, once he returned he quickly got into contact with the member of his friend group that had almost as much influence in the Madam’s downfall as he did. He was the most connected out of all of them, having eyes and ears scattered through various networks and a skill with computers that was beyond what normal people were capable of. If something odd was going on, no matter where it happened, that friend could find information on it.

And he did indeed find information. Very important details that had been squirreled away into the crevasses of the dark web. On top of this information, he also located where his friend from London had gone after not hearing from him in the entire year that had passed since they’d separated paths.

A mysterious place called Mount Phoenix… He didn’t know if he could trust this place but if that's where his friend had gone then Prince was going to go and find him.

STRENGTHS:

Exceptional Ability Control. Prince has a solid control over each of his abilities. The harsh training at Madam’s having promoted a ‘get better or else’ concept that left no room for mistakes.

Hand Tricks. Due to his ADHD, Prince’s tendency to fiddle with things to keep focused has given him a keen proficiency in having fluid control over his hands and fingers. He can often be seen with a coin rolling over his knuckles or fiddling with a trinket in his pocket.

Multilingual. As part of a required learning unit during his time at Madam’s, Prince has learned a number of languages that might have been useful for negotiating in other countries. Most prominent are his natural Thai, American English, and a number of Asian languages that include Korean. He also is well versed in British English after spending five years in London.

WEAKNESSES:

He has a mild case of PTSD from his earlier years at Madam Kanlaya’s. The harsh training, low key brainwashing, and easy abandonment of his parents all lending their voices to varied nightmares and giving him a couple days every few months where it’s difficult to sleep.

He has mild OCD. For Prince, he has to do things a certain way sometimes. He also has to have his things all in order in a way that makes sense to him that might not make sense to others. Sometimes this causes him to get easily frustrated at someone if they don’t follow or understand his little particularities with some things.

He has ADHD. Sometimes it’s hard for Prince to focus on things, he gets distracted easily and his hands have to be moving or doing something in order for him to focus on a task or conversation properly.
