One friendship you were desperate to hold on too was that of your friendship with Sora. The bond you shared with your roommate was forged through the unbreakable mix of late night ice cream and broken nail polish bottles.

When you told her about your plans to move, she cried out, "Unnie! How's going to give you much needed advice on you fashion and love lives now?"

And, for a while, you maintained steady contact with her. Sora was like the younger sister you did have but was closer in age to you. You both would regularly gossip, her about university and you about your new job.

That was, however, until she fell off the face of the earth three years ago.

She had completely, out of the blue cut off contact with you two years into you leaving. After confirming with others mutual friends, people who knew her and her family, you found out that she had deleted all traces of her existence. Her parents later got a message from her stating that she was fine and just wanted to be left alone.

You couldn't help but wonder: was it you? Had you done something? Could you have prevented it?

These same questions along with a longing for Sora made way to your mind as you got ready for the get together later at Chan and Eun-bi's place. If Sora was still here, you would have called her, patiently taking all the well meant hits she aimed at your outfit.

If Sora was here, she would ease your anxiety about meeting Minho again.

Instead, you just sighed in contempt and walked out the door, deciding to be somewhat satisfied with whatever you wore.

You entered the penthouse with an animated gasp.

It was a penthouse. Of course it would be grand. Still, the absolute magnitude of how brilliant it was blew you away. It made sense of course, Chan along with Changbin and Jisung, completed the production trio 3Racha. Their music was literally everywhere.

Eun-bi, on the other hand, had made a name for herself as a soloist in the Korean music industry. Together, the two of them had built up Bahng Entertainment from the ground up and were now, very obviously, reaping it's benefits.

"I'm so cool," you whispered to yourself, "I managed to make famous friends."

Giving yourself a complimentary pat on the back, you rang to doorbell. The door opened and you fell right into Eun-bi's already open arms.

"I have missed you so much," she squealed, squeezing the air out of your lungs.

When she finally let you go, you went around the room making rounds. Unease bubbled in your stomach as one name clouded your thoughts. Minho, Minho, Minho. It was a fervent prayer, once always at the tip of your tongue.

Felix and Hyunjin, despite just seeing you a few days before, loudly proclaimed there problems with your absence. Changbin gave you a small pat on the back with a defeated mutter of 'still tall'. Jeongin practically flew at you, his hug competing with Eun-bi's for 'most oxygen depriving'.

Seungmin sent you a devious smirk while Jisung screamed as loud as he could "Jeogiyo noona, hokshi namchajingu isseoyo?" The entire group, bar a certain Lee Minho, broke out into laughter.

At last, Chan came up to you, palms open and facing up. "Hand it over," he said playfully. You let out a dramatized sigh and handed him thirty bucks, making a mental note to never bet on cricket again.

Then, you finally saw him.

He looked good. Uncomfortable at you being there, yes, but good nonetheless. He wore a white t-shirt with three cartoon cats and the words 'SoDoNg' on top. His black jeans were snug and a gray hoodie hung off his shoulder. He regarded you with alert eyes and a small smile.

"Hello," Minho finally said after a long pause, "You look good."

"Thank you," you responded awkwardly, "So do you."

six and a half years ago.

Minho walked in front of Jeongin, chastising him at his lack of energy.

"Come on, stop being lazy! I want to get there before Hyunjin and Felix leave to go anywhere else," Minho told him off.

"Ugh," Jeongin groaned, "We all know you just want to see Y/N. Why'd you have to drag me along as well?"

Minho glared at him to avoid the fact that he was right. Minho did want to see you. He had never offered to pick up Hyunjin and Felix up from their Physics class, considering how it was on the other side of campus and often clashed with his schedule.

When offered to accompany Jeongin today though, his eyes instantly lit up with suspicion. He began teasing Minho on the walk to the Science department until Minho threatened to air fry him. When that failed, Jeongin resorted to whining about the walk.

"So! Tired!" he huffed.

Minho ignored him and continued walking, oddly excited at the prospect of seeing you. You had an effect on him that nobody else seemed to have. Sure, he had a few flings here and there and a few girls head over heels for him, but for once, he thought that he could possible be head over heels for someone himself.

Someone like you.

You were funny, pretty and your nose scrunched up whenever you were judging someone. You were expressive, understanding and sent a smile to everyone that even so much as looked at you.

It astounded him how much he liked about you after only one meeting.

Jeongin chatted off Minho's ear about some breakup or the other, but Minho wasn't listening. He leaned against the wall in attempt to come off as casual and nonchalant, but assumed that he was sweating profusely.

When you, Hyunjin and Felix finally came out of the building, Minho let out a sigh of relief. He didn't know how much longer he could keep up the act. Hyunjin raised an eyebrow upon seeing him while Felix's mouth was slightly hung open in shock.

Hyunjin gave Minho an exaggerated wave right in front of his face and went off to terrorize and already shrieking Jeongin. ("I spent five hours fixing my hair, you will not mess it up again," he yelped in agitation). Felix, seemingly catching wind of what was happening, shot Minho a wink. Minho promptly responded by subtly flipping him off so that the motion would escape your notice.

"Hi," Minho greeted you kindly.

You blinked in rapid succession, slightly shocked at the fact that the man you were daydreaming about when you were supposed to be noting down orbital diagrams, was standing right in front of you.

"Oh, hey Minho! I have never seen you here," you told him with a surprising amount of enthusiasm for someone who had just sat through an hour long lecture on the 'principles of celestial bodies and irregular orbits'.

"Oh, uh," he chuckled nervously, a hand making way to his neck, "I usually have my culinary class right after, but the professor delayed it and I figured I would pick Felix up."

"Oh yeah, yeah," you snapped your fingers in remembrance, "You're studying cooking, right."

"You should cook for me sometime," you added in what you hoped was a smooth tone that would soften the nervous shakes in your voice and aggressive thumping in your chest.

You didn't know the effect that sentence had on Minho. Minho didn't know the effect his presence had on you.

"Well, we should grab a bite to eat sometime," Minho chuckled nervously, "I know this really nice cat café and you mentioned that you always wanted to go."

For someone really smart, you sure were extremely dumb. "'Kay, I'll ask the boys," you blurted out, with even giving what he said a second thought.

Your nose scrunched in mortification. "Well, I was hoping more just me and you..." Minho's voice trailed off.

You regained your footing in the conversation and replied in what you supposed was a flirtatious tone. "Lee Minho. Are you asking me out on a date right now?" you prodded his arm with your finger.

"I don't even have you phone number," he exclaimed defensively, throwing his hands up, "That would be unethical."

You promptly recited a set of number in response as Minho looked at you in surprise.

"So, um, I assume that was your phone number?"

"Yep! But I wonder what happened to mysteriously and charismatic Lee Minho I talked to that night. Since when did he become such an anxious mess?" you teased him playfully.

"Maybe you'll see that side of me on our date," Minho winked at you with a smirk. You bit back a playful retort, wanting to see and embrace every side of him that you possibly could.

"So it's a date then?" you asked, a blush pattering over your nose and cheeks.

"It's a date."

Kayn: Errs to the more chic/classy look. Think Chelsea boots. Black tapered/cuffed jeans. Those long duster coats when it’s cold out. Linen pants when it’s summer. Maybe a crop top look on occasion. Basically likes to play around with different looks.

Druk: Guy Next Door. Think jeans and oversized jackets/hoodies. Lumberjack plaid. Olive green jackets or gray sweaters. Messy tousled hair.

Fenir: Light Academia. Lots of whites, browns, neutrals. Preppy Plaid. Vests. Nice trousers/slacks. Maybe on late nights or when he’s reading a lot he wears lil glasses.

Etza: Simple and Clean. Honestly, something similar to Intertwine Van probably! Just a nice button down shirt and nice trousers. Nice jewelry. I also imagine everything they wear has a really nice, soft texture (so they’re nice to cuddle with)

Happy Pride Month and (very belated) Solarpunk Aesthetic Week! I wanted to redesign my longtime OCs, so I decided to give them a thematic twist!

Self-indulgent details about their designs under the cut:

From left to right:

Mia Based on the romantic/cottagecore style, and incorporating aspects of Eastern/Central European folk dresses, such as the Czech kroj. Her vest is made from recycled overalls and excess fabric from her apron. Her natural motif is fungi -- her bow and earrings are amanita mushrooms (if you squint, her skirt looks like one too), and the frills on her collar + sleeves are chanterelles!

Clyde He's a bohemian kinda guy, so I kept his silhouette relaxed and unstructured + harem pants + accessories. The exception is his jacket, a union of 3 different garments made to loosely resemble traditional Indian clothing like the achkan. His natural motif is the sun - hence the warm tones, which is contrasted with splashes of teal, the colour of his aura (its a fictional superpower thing).

Glace His style is more preppy/academia - turtlenecks and sweaters are his type, so I gave him 3! Sewn together in a visible mending-esque style (inspired by tumblr solarpunks and their fashion projects)! His palette is taken from the mlm flag, and there's subtle elements of a Korean hanbok - his collar, sleeve shape, sash and tassel. Rips in his pants are covered by cloud patches (his motif), all dyed to match the aesthetic!

Simmer Her thing is streetwear with a cultural twist - her top combines a bomber jacket and a Chinese qipao/cheongsam. Her detachable sleeves are extended via sewn-on zippers (useful as her powers generate a lot of heat)! Her motif is the phoenix, with patterns on her shirt and collar, hand-decorated using the batik method. Her hair streaks are inspired by stripes on a tiger - Malaysia's national animal.

Axis She's all about the y2k aesthetic, with translucent tights and a hoodie stylishly revamped to form a super crop top + a figure-hugging bodysuit. Her design is inspired by indigenous Andean fashion, such as the Ecuadorian pollera, which her skirt might be repurposed from. Her motif is butterflies, as seen in her earrings, the shape of her bodysuit, and the wing-like curves of her skirt.

Piper Initially wanted a punk-ish vibe for him but he might be a bit too cute now oops! His jacket is a mashup of 3 different pieces, and his jeans are a patchwork of denim. He's got iconic looks from French fashion (beret and scarf), as well as some African designs (the vertical pattern I referenced looked like plant cells, but also like binary code? I thought it was so on theme)! His motif is obviously plants of all types!

- In all honesty, Shoto didn’t particularly care about the idea of matching outfits at first, not until you suggested it.

- He’s never been a big clothes/fashion guy in general, so he didn’t ever think much about what he wore on the rare occasion that he wasn’t wearing his uniform or costume before he met you. 

- When you proposed the idea he wasn’t opposed to it, though, he’s happy to do anything that makes you happy. 

- And when you explained why the idea seemed so fun to you, he was suddenly much more interested in the concept of matching couple outfits.

- When he asked why you had suggested the idea in the first place as you shopped together one day, and you responded, “Because I’m happy that you’re my boyfriend :) And I want to show you off and tell everyone how happy I am to be with you!” 

- Well that just. Melted his heart.

- Hearing that someone was so proud of being with him, not because of his father or because of his quirk or anything like that, but just because of him?And how genuine your voice sounded when you said it, like you didn’t even need to think about the response?

- Let’s just say that after that little chat, Shoto was suddenly the #1 supporter of you two wearing matching outfits :>

- He’s pretty happy to go for whatever kind of style you want to wear, but if he’s the one picking out your outfits or at least the inspo for them, he’s definitely more biased towards comfy, cozy but still chic-looking outfits. 

- Not only does he enjoy the look and feel of sweater vests, knitted sweaters, cardigans and items like that, but he thinks you look absolutely precious in cozy clothes that make you feel comfortable as well. :) 

- Even if Katsuki says he looks like a grandpa in the outfits he chooses >:( Because as long as you’re happy with them, Shoto’s happy, and he doesn’t care what anyone else thinks!

- He’s happy to let you take the lead on choosing your matching outfits most of the time, though, whether that means you’re wearing matching dresses or dressed in an alternative style or if you’re just wearing cute couple hoodies. 

- He’s pretty big on accessories, though, they’re more subtle and easier to wear without drawing as much attention on the days where he’s just not feeling up to going all out, but still wants to show you and your relationship off.

- Matching rings, cheesy couple necklaces that connect together with magnets, matching hats, just leave the accessories up to Shoto because he has a surplus already, and he loves picking them out for the two of you.

- And all of your friends find your matching outfits adorable, they always comment on how cute the two of you look when you wear them around the dorms.

- Izuku always has a compliment for the two of you about how chic you look or how precious your matching outfits are, the sweet boy that he is, and seeing how cute the two of you are together always causes poor Mina to lament about her own lack of an s/o and how the two of you are “too cute to handle, it’s not fair.” 

- Shoto rarely uses social media in general, but when he does make a post it’s usually an OOTD post to show off your cute matching outfits because he’s proud of the outfits the two of you come up with.

- So even though he was pretty indifferent to the idea at first, Shoto quickly warms up to your suggestion of occasionally wearing matching outfits, and he grows to quite enjoy the chance to show you off to the world as his partner and get to share something so pure and simple with you. :)

Do you have any physical description of the ROs?

Thank you thirteenth anon for coming to the fashion show with our latest super villains that we arrested. In any case, the best one will be released, and the others will have to do community services (become trees in a play). Which one do you pick?

"We got flashback descriptions, so I guess it was only natural that anon birds would enquire as to descriptions of the ROs! Kay: Stocky, somewhat husky build. Farmer's tan. She has very strange eyes, yellowish with horizontal pupils, and a pair of curling horns. Her hair is fluffy and grey-white. Usually zipped up in a hoodie and sweatpants, but when she's got to be active, say... for a villainous mission, she strips down to shorts and forgoes sleeves. (Which happens to reveal extra fluff on her arms and legs). Teddie: Fair skin, short brown hair, green eyes. On the shorter side, and not heavily built. Teddie's physical appearance is kind of dominated by his Extra Bones. He's always rocking a number of awkward protrusions from his body. For instance, during the first meeting half of his brow has an extra ridge sticking out of it, plus a large pauldron like plate on his shoulder. Shit sucks. Wil: Regardless of set gender, Wil looks more or less the same. Xe's very tall and toned, pale with short ash blonde hair and pale blue eyes. Black lipstick, black eyeliner. Just wears a whole lot of black to be honest. Studs, chains, buckles? All of those might make appearances in xer outfits. Boots, distressed jeans, a couple ear piercings. Great abs. Don't ask why I already know that detail. Mallory: I have to asterix Mallory since they do not actually look the same all the time. However, they're korean and have dark eyes and hair. Often a little ambiguous so far as gendered appearance goes. A casual dresser, but a fairly fashionable one. Always smiling a lot. Pay close attention. Control Group: Short and compact, a little bundle of muscle. Curly brown hair that's shoulder length when down, but usually isn't. Skin on the darker side of olive. Favours leather jackets, jeans, combat boots. Sharp eyes. Alistair: Tall and muscular, though we're not talking body builder here. Dark skinned and dark haired, which he pulls back in a braided tail. Clean shaven, wears glasses. Decent dresser, often rocking a backpack. Where do you think he keeps all the pasta? Habitual smiler, very expressive with his face."

My money is on Wil.
