like they spend a ton of time together cause yk keefe and sophie spend a ton of times together and the way they banter is so sfhjfk they give me older brother and youngest sister who are basically from different generations vibes

but also the way i kinda feel theyre kinda growing to trust and respect each other more and letting go for some of the judgment they have for the other specie its just rlly wholesome i think im gonna make a post with hcs abt them

Sandor and Grizel where childhood friends in cannon, and i’m convinced they actually dated before cannon, because that’s what it sounded like in their little act interaction in the books.

i think that Sandor had someone in his family die and they left a spouse and child behind and he didn’t want to hurt Grizel in that way, so he broke up with her to protect her. but Grizel didn’t give up on their relationship for years and that’s why she followed him to the elven gaurd

Why can I picture Bronte calling Sophie when she's cleaning up the Grove for Keefe because he's terrible at cleaning things so Sandor picks up and brings Bronte out and all he can see is Sandors hand but he hears

'Why must you keep this place so messy?"

"You're hot."

And then there's just silence before he hears an "ow!"

And he snorts out his hot tea and Sophie and Keefe just look at Sandor like 😑

I think the cutest thing in the world is that Sandor and Sophie canonically hold hands. And not in a “this is just because we are light leaping” way, but in a “I want you to know I’m here for you” way. I’m rereading stellarlune and I came across a scene like this and now I’m crying. They are like siblings and I love them

Throughout my reread I've noticed that hand holding is also just something the characters do in general to support each other! Not to take away from Sophie and Sandor's relationship, it's just quite consistent

So many times they're described reaching for each others hands when something difficult comes up or otherwise, and I think it's incredibly sweet. Although sometimes it seems like Shannon's describing them like a chain and I think that's gotta be an inconvenient arrangement to move around in

I don't know if I'd personally describe them as siblings, but they're 100% family at this to me. It's lovely to see how far they've come, from Sophie constantly trying to ditch him and Sandor seeing her as just another charge until his next assignment, to now genuinely caring about one another's well being.

it does open them up to vulnerabilities, but it has its merits as well, and I'm very happy for them :)

elves dont exist. special abilities, mallowmelt, birth fund, none of that. BUT everything elvin is translated into normal stuff

so biana's a vanisher? nah. she's really good at hiding in plain sight, and just lurking in the shadows.

sophie and fitz are telepaths?nope. they have really strong intuitions about what others are thinking

the elvin birth fund thing? doesn't exist. sophie and crew just happen to come from a really good country and they're also rich

grady's a mesmer? no to that. he's just really manipulative

light leaping? (its a lil wonky) super fast car/thing that runs on sunlight/moonlight

mallowmelt? desserts fused together and made with love
