A lot of early kotlc fandom fitz centered discourse is silly when you realize ppl genuinely understood the villains more than they were willing to at least see the poor boys point of view. I have seen ppl excuse alvar’s actions more than fitz (they still do cause of the latest book but anyways) when the difference between them is like this.

Fitz: I sometimes can’t control my anger and end up displacing a lot of blame on ppl around me and also I am extremely stressed because of my family’s importance in this society.

Okay, we need to talk about Sophie's eyelash thing. Every time it's mentioned by the fandom, there seems to be an assumption that it's unusual/disordered to ever pull out your eyelashes.

Sure, compulsively pulling eyelashes is unusual, but as a general thing? Is that...not something you guys do on a regular basis? Gently tugging your eyelashes just to get rid of the loose ones that would otherwise fall out and end up in your eye?
