What is your character's morning routine? She's a... challenge to describe there. Routine? Heavens no. What animal is she at the time? Is she trancing or sleeping? Has she fallen asleep on someone? Generally- if she's a cat, her morning routine involves waking up, spinning a few times, hunting breakfast, and then finding a good sunspot to nap in. Especially if that sunspot is on Zahra's uniform. Or her face. If she's an elf, it involves getting down from the roof, wiping away the tears if it was a rough night for memories, finding a place to take a swim, and then tending to her plants and making breakfast.

How do they like to spend afternoons free? You mean most of their afternoons? (Boy is she lazy). Peak cat time. Or she'll go out and read the woods. It's a good time to play around with being new animals, and she has discovered a new love for being an owl (thank you Mari/Talbot). Or she'll go bug one of her people. Or garden, distill alcohol, get drunk, climb something stupidly tall, or try to figure out surfing so she can impress Cora.

What is their role in the party? Not just their class on a meta level, but among the individuals who make up your party? Emotional support animal? Cook? Carer? Comic relief? Professional source of worry? I'm really not sure how to answer this one >.> I will happily take suggestions in the replies.

What is their greatest failure? Kip would laugh, say that it's the fact that they never became a marked hunter within their clan. They were forced out before they could.

(Deep down, though, there's the nagging doubt that perhaps they should have kept to the vows of their marriage rather than the vows of the ship. Maybe if Kat were still alive..)

also showing off the initial refs i scribbled on paper before starting the modeling, and the color refs i made by tracing the t posing models!

my friend @purppura-muratti had kindly made refs of the characters for me, but i needed solid color refs for the texturing, and i wanted to tweak the colors a bit into a brighter and more cartoony style. after this i just used blender's texture paint tool to draw the texture on the models

a little headcanon/theory

I think that when you bond with a beast then the mark randomly appears on your body, like how Viola bonded with Kulo. However, when your beast bonds with you, like how Root bonded with Barclay, the mark appears wherever your beast touched you when they created the bond. For example, Barclay's mark was on his shoulder which is where he got that scratch from Root when Root bonded with Barclay.

Merry Christmas! Hope everyone, regardless of what (if anything) you're celebrating today, has a lovely day and a good start to the new year.

Today I have two gifts for you all! The first is this finished request for @pockethamster at the GoS Wishing Tree: a skinblend (of sorts) of Furbyq's Cactus Plantsim overlay with Noodlesims' Honey Apple Crisp skins. Credit of course goes to @furbyq-sims and @noodlesims - if either has an objection to this mashup of their work, I'll remove it, but for now the direct link is here at SFS and the details are in this post on the GoS thread. Preview pics will come, once we're done with our family celebrations.

The second gift is this: Kulo Sena is returning in the new year! I'll have proper introductions to everyone and their stories this time, and I'll try not to need to rebuild for a while. There may also be preview pics for my hood coming over the next few days...

Anyway, enough rambling! I'm off to zizz before my uncle gets here.
