In case you care 🫶 QX article about Gaygala.
ALLT OM QX GAYGALA
Tumblr media
VINNARNA, QX-GALAN 2023
Årets ställe: The Blue Oyster. Årets keep up the good work: Lady Busty & Miss Shameless Årets scen: Club After Dark QX Hederspris: Mian Lodalen Årets film: ”Hilma” Årets låt: ”Ingen annan rör mig som du” Molly Hammar. Årets bok: ”Bögen är lös” Edvin Törnblom. Årets tv-program: Young Royals.
Årets drag: Club After Dark Årets tv-stjärna: Edvin Ryding Årets duo: Edvin Törnblom och Johanna Nordström. Årets hetero: Hazret Bozarslan.
Årets hbtq: Edvin Törnblom.

Soooo these are just the ones I need to run the preliminary round :) I'm actually missing quite a few if I want to have something for every contestant + the honorable mentions...
i've decided any submissions without a description won't be included, or mentioned. I can't really introduce people to a polyship if I can't describe them. If your submission is in this list, please help me! It doesn't need to be a long description! Just something that explains their dynamic a bit! Examples:
about a canon submission:
Not only do they live through an incredibly complex and co-dependent youth together, they come out of it on the other side and heal and raise a kid together.
about an implied canon submission:
The interactions between the three of them throughout the story mode and other dialogue sources throughout the game at least imply it. The dynamic between the three's personalities makes it clear they've at least known each other for a super long time, and that them being in a polycule wouldn't be too far-fetched.
(these examples aren't necessarily from contestants, again, i want to describe the mentions as well.)
As for the prelim round ones, I'll wait until tomorrow night, and whichever is still missing a description will be auto eliminated.
I know some of these have been described to me in asks before the nominations even went live, but there's too many asks in the tag and I simply can't look through all of them to find them, that's why I need your help, please!
So here are the full lists of stuff i'm missing, under the cut

The song of the day is
The Burden Ov Faith
youtube
alright at this point if you're gonna have a title track on your album is needs to be an absolute banger. the bar has been set far too high by so many artists, and this one stands up to the best of them.
with a title like "the burden ov faith" the topics covered in this song and album likely won't surprise you too much.
Tumblr media
this band seems to have some issues with the church, and they make that fact well known across this entire album.

Above the Rim is a 1994 American sports drama directed by Jeff Pollack. Written by Barry Michael Cooper and based on a story by Benny Medina, it stars Duane Martin, Tupac Shakur, Marlon Wayans, and Leon. The film is the last in Cooper's "Harlem Trilogy," following New Jack City (1991) and Sugar Hill (1994).🖤👑🎬
The plot follows Kyle-Lee Watson, a talented high school basketball player in New York City, as he navigates his relationships with a drug dealer and a former basketball star now working as a security guard. The movie is set primarily in Harlem, with key scenes filmed at the Manhattan Center for Science and Mathematics and Samuel J. Tilden High School in Brooklyn.
Kyle faces a dilemma: play for his beloved coach or join Birdie, a local drug dealer. Throughout the film, Kyle learns life lessons from Shep, a former star player turned security guard, and ultimately rejects Birdie's influence. The film culminates in a high-stakes basketball tournament where Kyle, supported by Shep, leads his team to victory, defying Birdie's threats.

Twins Outslug Rockies 17-9!
Rockies 9 Twins 17 W-Lopez (6-6) L-Gomber (1-4)
The Minnesota Twins came up empty late last night against the Rockies. The team looked for the series win in the rubber game today at Target Field. The Rockies got the scoring started early as Brenton Doyle reached on a single and stole second base. He reached third on a bad throw from Christian Vazquez. Ezequiel Tovar hit a sac fly to right and Colorado struck first. The Twins answered in the bottom of the first when Manny Margot led-off with a bunt single. Carlos Correa and Royce Lewis singled. Byron Buxton plated a run with a base hit to left and Carlos Santana unloaded the bases with a double to right. Kyle Farmer added a run-scoring single and the Twins led 5-1 after an inning of play. The Rockies would inch closer in the fourth when Ryan McMahon smoked a Pablo Lopez curveball out to right for a solo homer. The Twins answered in the fourth as Willi Castro smoked an Austin Gomber fastball out to left for a solo homer. Christian Vazquez followed with a double and Manny Margot doubled him home. Carlos Correa plated a run with a base hit to center and the Twins led 8-2 after four frames. The Rockies added a run in the sixth and the Twins responded right back in the bottom of the sixth. Royce Lewis belted an Angel Chivilli fastball out to left for a two-run homer. Minnesota took a 10-3 lead heading into the seventh. The Rockies would not go away in the seventh. Adael Amador lined a two-out single to center and Charlie Blackmon doubled. Brenton Doyle knocked in a pair with a single to left and Colorado was within five. The Rockies quickly loaded up the bases in the eighth and Carlos Correa misplayed a slow roller to score a run. A bases loaded walk and Adael Amador RBI groundout cut the deficit to two. The Twins would rally big time in the bottom of the eighth. They batted eleven men and knocked in seven runs. The Rockies added a run in the ninth, but Jay Jackson eventually got out of the inning to give the Twins the series win.
-Final Thoughts- Pablo Lopez had a strong day as he went five innings and allowed two runs on five hits with five strikeouts. Jorge Alcala gave up a run in the sixth and Steven Okert allowed two run in the seventh. Caleb Thielbar allowed three more runs and didn't register an out, Jhoan Duran eventually got out of the eighth, and Jay Jackson struck out the side in the ninth. Carlos Correa led the way with a five-hit day. Royce Lewis, Carlos Santana, Kyle Farmer, and Willi Castro had three hits each. Manny margot, Jose Miranda, and Christian Vazquez had two hits each. The Twins hit 11-for-17 with runners in scoring position and left six men on base. Tomorrow, the A's come to town. Luis Medina faces Joe Ryan in the series opener on Prince Night.
