watched a bunch of episodes today! i’ve been loving neon and kyuun’s shippy dynamics so far, and for a bit i started looking forward to kyuuneo interactions more than my oshi ace 😭 kyuuneo truly hit me where it hurts (shoujo plot straight out of dengeki daisy).

i can’t believe neon clocked him this early too. homegirl is smart as hell. she’s pestering kyuun about his tsundere switch but i fear that she’s killing him with cuteness. of course neon knows she’s cracked at aegyo but i seriously think kyuun has stopped breathing. any aegyo neon does is 100x more potent on him specifically, and inching closer to him on the sofa is practically lethal. bless your heart kyuun for i don’t think you’ll survive it

Who Remembers?

So at the end of Geats, the world was reset after Suel's defeat. Ace told Keiwa, Neon, and Michinaga to forget about him and Tsumuri's words seem to reflect that.

"A world that forgot Ukiyo Ace."

There is a case to be made for characters to have kept their memories.

I will start with anyone who made a wish in the place where MkIX was enshrined remembers, meaning, this includes Ben & John as their one wish is prominent at the ending, it's only one written in Enbglish

But now I enumerate how each character could remember.

Daichi - the fact that he's still raising the sunflower Jamato. Jamatos were supposed to be the antagonists of the Desire Grand Prix, and he is raising them.

Win - Staring longingly at his band's poster proves that as he lost it when his friend lost his memories of his wish and his participation of the DGP and his own employment in the DGP.

Sara - On the basis that she is Keiwa's sister, but also the many wishes she wrote on her ema.

Michinaga - the fact that he refers to himself as a Bull while eating meat, that was how some characters have referred to him.

Neon - Kyuun's mere presence is proof that she remembers

Keiwa - the only one shown looking at his ID core.

Ziin and Tsumuri are a given, they're explicitly shown to remember Ace.

What the hell! It's easy enough to be honest in my letters, but I keep blurting out the opposite in person.

Fine, I'm relenting. I will preface this that the Kyuun X Neon Ship is valid, and so is any other Neon ship, from Ace X Neon to Sara X Neon to Sae X Neon are also valid.

My preference is just Keiwa X Neon. Maybe a bit of Sara X Neon and Sae X Neon, but that's neither here nor there.

First off, as you guys are really intent on asking for it, my thoughts on Kyuun X Neon, again its valid. People can interpret their interactions the way they deem fit, even interpret the wish at the very end the way they deem fit.

However, the "she loves you that's why she's picking on you" trope is one trope I really don't like in fiction. Which is why I really do not like tsundere characters, be they male or female. I especially do not like it when they get rewarded for that kind of behavior and get together with the person they love but constantly belittle or physically bully their supposed special someone.

Sure its good for slapstick comedy, but romance and narrative wise its just... demeaning..

A big example of this Louise from Zero no Tsukaima. She constantly treats Saito like her slave and even gets really physical when she's insecure about herself.

Now onto the reasons why I ship Keiwa X Neon, I will just copy the ask I gave to an askblog.

Keiwa doesn't care about her fame as a youtuber or her status as the heiress of the Kurama conglomerate.

Neon is so comfortable with Keiwa that she didn't even bother to use his last name, she went ahead to be on first name basis with him. (I would've included how Keiwa also doesn't use her last name but she's a celebrity and celebrity names tend to stick so people refer to them in that name)

Keiwa could have corrected her as he's older than she is, but didn't.

Both say whatever they want to the other. [you have a fan in my sister and please stop, I know you believe that everything will get better but I don't want false hope]

Neon remains to be the only person who Keiwa has voluntarily given the boost buckle. Ace tricked it away from him, Mary stole it from him, Michinaga received it from Mary and so on and so forth.

Keiwa presented his safe place, his home, as an option for Neon when she needed it the most, when she had been considering going with Kyuun to the future and let everyone in the world forget about her. In other words, Keiwa suggested that Neon move in with him.

I may be going in speculation territory here, but if Keiwa wasn't locked up during the Bull game, you know he would have rushed to Neon's side and gave her the support that she needed when it seemed like the world has abandoned her.

But like I said any other Neon ship is valid. My preference and a few others are just for KeiNeon and not the others.
